I like the idea of feminism, I really like it in its essence. Having said that, sometimes I really don't know if the people behind it are doing it in bad faith or something else

I never liked the "Teach Men Not To Rape" idea because its title makes look like all men are inherently rapists and Its actual content is good and a must-have since it explains about clear consent both of men and women's perspective since it's common that women only realize and understand later she was raped

As much as I like its main goal, didn't it have any other title suggestions? And even if hypothetically there was no other title, why is it especially targeting only men if it's about consent? It has the potential to make women fully understand the depths of what counts as rape and even making sure men understand it too but it just seems like it was made to repel men rather than attract

Along with that, I also don't like the way feminism makes it seem like all men are secretly rapists due to the high statistics of raped and/or sexually harassed women and as much as there is merit in it at first glance I can't help but wonder how a movement focused on equality didn't stop to gather and match other statistics

If you pay attention to the kind of men that are rapists either from statistics or asking victims you'll see it's usually someone who has some sort of social power over them or are socially seen as a good person to the point even some of the victims give up keeping with the rape accusation due to the fear of people not believing them or the process not having any results due to people's rejection. Statistics also point out about most rapists having a count of victims that usually goes from two to six and most rape cases aren't even reported. It all matches like pieces of a puzzle, yet I never saw any feminist bringing any of it

On a similar note, the explanation behind the "all men are potential rapists" allegation feels like the same way bigots people talk about minorities by saying all men are like wild animals at their nature. Homophobics think all gays are inherently feminine and "sissies" because it's their nature and transphobics will point their finger whenever a trans men is doing something remotely seen as feminine even if it doesn't have any sort of actual correlation because they think they're women at their deep

I really like feminism's concept and I congratulate it for its achievements in women's rights, I just don't think it's currently with good faith or well educated people

i'm glad i never registered to vote, because these politics are just so hard to understand. i admire Men so much for being so smart and strong and taking these leadership positions. Women in the workplace are so miserable and toxic because we’re not supposed to be there at all. radical feminism is so ironic because they end up reinforcing all the misogyny they complain about.

The main one is the "women are held to much higher standards than men!" meanwhile rad feminists turn around and nitpick every minor thing a woman does, because it's possibly "contributing to female oppression". Whilst men are allowed to roam free and be degenerates and do whatever they want without any criticism from feminism. Rad Feminists expect men to be worthless degenerates, so as a result men don't get criticized or pressured to be anything other than worthless degenerates. Men are not pressured with any obligation to abstain from sex or police themselves to help out some downtrodden collective, they are not bullied mercilessly by the bitchy women who call themselves feminists for their personal choices no matter how degenerate those choices are. Only women are bullied and harassed by feminists for their personal choices (i.e. being with a man, daring to take pride in being feminine, criticizing a woman) because feminists have such high moral expectations of the sex they glorify.

It's SO funny and also sad how literally every female empowerment movement, whether lib feminism or rad feminism or whatever kind of feminism, ends up reinforcing the misogynistic notion that men have no obligation to anyone but themselves because they're stupid animals who can't be expected to develop emotional intelligence, meanwhile women are obligated to self-sacrifice and be constantly scrutinized for The Good of Society. Basically it's rebranded "women must pay the price for men's sins". Patriarchy also puts women on a pedestal and glorifies us as being of higher moral integrity than men, which in their opinion justifies treating us more harshly than men on all levels except physical.

No kind of feminism transcends gender roles one bit. Feminism is literally rebranded patriarchy. This is fucking obvious to anyone who knows how second-wave feminism came about (banker money) and it is obvious to anyone who knows that the monetary-job system which feminism glorifies as "empowering", is a patriarchal invention based on the erasure of feminine values and the over-glorification of masculine values. And it's obvious to anyone who's put cause and effect together and seen that despite feminism being so influential in society over the past few decades, we are still living in a hellhole ruled by war and greed, nurses and teachers are still underpaid whilst worthless corporate moids are getting billions, and mothers are facing More (not less) stress and pressure than ever. It's almost like feminism is just patriarchal gender roles slightly rebranded.

"Women need to be scrutinized for the safety of all women and children! So that's why we freak out when a woman sucks dick but roll our eyes and go "hm, as expected" when a man acts like a pedo degenerate!" is the exact doctrine of patriarchal ideology.

Feminists act just as entitled to women's obedience and loyalty and purity as men who believe in patriarchal ideologies.
