redesigned some cookie ocs i have

one is fruit punch cookie and the other is a fan kid of caviars named Calamari cookie

this is the opposite of a kid request lmao, but i figured i'd ask anyway… so i headcanon energy drink cookie as soda cookie's older sibling? (they're both fizzy, caffeinated beverages, and i love both characters individually… seemed to fit. i dunno.) so my request is what would their parent(s) be like?

Finally got them done, this is Americano Cookie and Fruit Punch Cookie

I’m not entirely sure how to format these fan parent pages yet, but this is what I’m going with for now

Alright, character time. So starting with Fruit Punch, she runs a beachside juice bar, and she’s an extroverted and energetic person who just wants to have a good time. Her husband Americano on the other hand is a businessman who works out in the city. He’s a fairly serious and uptight person, and has trouble unwinding and not being in his business mindset. He’s fairly nice, he’s just bad at letting loose

They met when one day Americano’s coworkers dragged him to Fruit Punch’s bar. Americano likes her because of her fun loving personality and that she’s an incredibly confident lady, and Fruit Punch likes him because he’s a sweet guy, and also she finds it fun trying to pry him out of his shell

Also Americano now likes to wear more colorful ties as some sort of expression of creativity, and because of Fruit Punch’s influence on him

Alright, now for their names. So basically, Americano is supposed to be the caffeine and water (assuming Soda is soda water), and Fruit Punch is supposed to be the fizzy, sugar and the flavor

So yeah, I’m aware of the fact that red and brown do not make blue and green, but shush, maybe it’s recessive genes. Also I wasn’t going to not make these two the colors of their drinks. But I tried to at least have some blue and green in their designs and eyes

There’s not much to say about their designs really, I just made Fruit Punch look like she lives on the beach and Americano like he’s a business person

I gave Fruit Punch the bubble pattern as a reference to them being drinks, and also because I didn’t want to draw a bunch of flowers for a flower print shirt

Also I think I had originally planned for one of them to have lighter skin while the other has darker, but coffee Cookies usually have darker dough, with the only lighter ones being the ones with milk, and Fruit Punch kind of has an afro going on, so I just kept their dough colors dark

I gave Americano his yellow accents because some pictures of americano I’ve seen have

But overall I quite like their designs, I think they look good

And yeah, that about wraps things up for my first fan parent request, I hope you like them!

So, someone on the cookie run artists fb group posted bases of their art, and they allowed users to trace over the bases, credit to the OG bases goes to Oishi Gal (fb)

Honestly; I'm gonna probably use ackee fruit, black apple, cashew, and hand citron cookie the most

The last of the cookies for this week are violet macarons. This is another macaron that I didn't get in either variety pack, so I'm having the fruit punch macaron from the Leilalove variety pack. To be fair, I'm also not sure I want to eat something that the upgrade description says tastes like perfume.

These are soft and a a little chewy, with a very nice fruit punch flavor. I must say I do wish that the macarons were individually labelled with what flavor they are instead of having to try to figure it out by appearance. Both variety packs are like this, but at least LeilaLove has a picture of what specific flavors look like, though this can still be tricky since there can be slight variance in batches. Also, the cherry and fruit punch flavors look so similar I wasnt sure which flavor this one was until eating it. Still, though, this is a great cookie.

His lips had parted, yet she is swift in taking his breath away as their lips meet. The way he remains somewhat leaned forward, even after she pulls away, OUTS him for his desire for more---

He wishes it felt right. That the one thing he's been desperate to hear -- to FEEL -- can be smiled at and accepted like it was meant to be, but he can't. Instead, he merely looks her in the eye for the briefest of moments before tearing his gaze away, looking at the ground in undeniable SHAME, and muttering the words,

" You shouldn't. "

He knows, he KNOWS, it's the worst possible thing to say in response, but if he tells her he loves her back, when he WISHES she would see she deserves so, so, SO much better than this MESS of a broken man, she'll keep preventing him from DROWNING beneath it all . . .

. . . until, eventually, inevitably, they BOTH go down.

" No . . . " He swallows, hard, and curls his fingers into the clammy, worryingly cold palms of his hands, until his nails, finely cut and perfect, though they were, despite his battles, threatened to tear into his skin.

By poular demand, here are the rest of the prop and miscellaneous objects enabled for decorating! I don't have any pics right now, but the full list of objects is below the cut, and each package is merged by expansion pack.

As with my other debug objects, these can all be found under DEBUG > MISC. The catalog names are often something weird, because I haven't edited or added any strings.

These objects are technically not CC, it just allows you to access and decorate with objects that are already in game. Therefore you can uninstall these overrides, share worlds and lots using them, and they'll still remain wherever you've placed them.

Also, if you have a default replacement for any of these props, for example a plate default, then the object will also be updated to reflect that.

I highly reccomment using this in conjunction with my S3DT mod, since some of the objects are half sunk into the ground by default.

Another help thing but I’m working on Americano and Fruit Punch, and while I have something for Fruit Punch down, namely that she runs a beachside juice bar, but I’m not sure what to do for Americano

Actually you know what, I’m having a similar problem with a different fan parent request I’ve gotten (though I want to get the Soda and Energy Drink ones done first), so I might as well ask for this one here too

So the other one I’m having trouble with is parents for Cherry and Cherry Blossom. I have names, Cherry Powder and Plum Blossom, and I have stuff for Cherry Powder, namely that she’s a fireworks technician, but I’m really not sure what to do for Plum Blossom

I have designs for them as well, but Plum Blossom is open to change, I wasn’t really sure what to do for her (CP on the left, PB on the right, just in case)

i fucking LOVE the way you draw/write jesse, as someone with a chubby/buff build i kind of struggle with insecurities about my size but the way you draw him makes me feel very good. idk im describing it badly but i wanted to ask if your design for him is more chubby or muscly?

It really depends on which time frame I'm drawing Jesse in actually.

In the beginning, I imagine Jesse is quite scrawny. I mean did you see his work out routine in the beginning? He was was doing sit ups and punching flowers. He was definitely lacking muscle (but had enough to be able to lift Reuben up and down that ladder) and as the first couple episodes progress, he stays scrawny but progressively becomes more scarred up until the Portal Hallway episodes.

The Portal Hallway episodes, it takes place many months after the events of the Witherstorm. Jesse and his friends are going on many more adventures, really honing their skills that they acquired over the past few months. Jesse is much more built now. He's buff and tough with the true heart of a hero. Although, once he and his friends get stuck in the Portal Hall, that's when things take a really devastating turn for him. Feeling hopeless and lost for weeks on end, he begins to feel withdrawn from the positivity he was feeling before he ended up stuck here. Traumatic events keep occuring, and with these events, Jesse is of course drawn to remember and replay the events of Reuben's death in his head. He keeps the most of these feelings to himself because his group is already feeling so disheartened about their current situation that the last thing he'd want for them is to know that he's breaking emotionally, so he ends up taking less care of himself. He starts eating with the idea that he has to stay strong for his friends, but even those moments are rare. Food is scarce depending on what portal they are in, so when he finds food, he'll take anything that will keep his energy and strengths up.

By the end of it all, he's actually put on a significant amount of muscle. But it's kind of like a 'at what cost?' scenario.

Things get a bit better for him between then and Season 2 where he's eating better again and keeping all that muscle, but once Season 2 comes and goes, and with everything that happens in the Sunshine Institute and the Underneath, he loses a lot of weight.

It's only after Season 2, where he stays in BeaconTown and eventually finds a love life with Lukas when he really begins putting on weight once again. He's done with hero work. He's done with going on crazy life threatening adventures. Now he just wants to live life for himself rather than putting others first. Lukas helps him a lot through this, with body positivity and lots of love and affectionate touch, it's all the reassurance Jesse has ever needed to feel okay with being himself again. So he ends up putting on that happy weight that couples typically adopt over time when they're in a healthy relationship. Lukas treats him so, so unbelievably well. Finally Jesse gets to eat food for himself without the idea of needing to keep himself strong and powerful once he's finally retired. He indulges himself in his sweet tooth and loves to eat cookies, cakes, and other baked goods that Lukas will bake or bring home. He also really enjoys the fact that he doesn't have to eat alone anymore. He loves sitting at the table and enjoying a meal with his hubby. And the best part, which is something Jesse was horribly self conscious about, is that Lukas loves and adores his pudge. He is so supportive of Jesse's eating habits, but he doesn't hesitate to sneak veggies and fruits into Jesse's lunch box for work.

So yeah uh Jesse is chubby, buff and loved at the end of it all 😍
