Not anymore.#This is the culmination of years of miscommunication. There was so much love there. They trusted each other with everything once.#I think it is easy to hear the anger in JC's voice and consider him the aggressor in this but listen to the words not the tone.#It is anger yes - but it is an anger born out of love.#Jiang Cheng wanted him to live - damn the rest of the world to hell if that's what it took. And Wei Wuxian chose strangers over him.#Sometimes two people who once flourished together become each other's worst wounds.#A goodbye to someone you once would have done anything for is a wound you don't easily recover from.#Jiang Cheng could have stood at Wei Wuxian's side and joined him. Consider though; as a sect leader his life is not his own anymore.#JC cannot just abandon the fledgling New Yunmeng Jiang without also dooming people.#And that is the lynch pin of it all. Both of them are trapped by duty. And the older they got the more tangled the web became.#The song I linked (Hi Epic fans) is such a good JC and WWX song that doesn't fit this scene exactly #But it does fit *them*. The words of warning that go dismissed. The Tactical Genius who continues to press on.#The seeds of doubt that grow louder until they creep towards mutiny. Ultimatly this *is* a mutiny! It *is* betrayal!#'You rely on wit and people die by it'. Is that not Wei Wuxian?#Just smashing my brainworms together over here. Don't mind me.

#anyways just feeling so grateful for where i am now compared to this time last year #im 27 in a few days and i am exactly where i am supposed to be and i have so much to be thankful for #korea #ireland #it's such a basic thing to us now but u have to stop and ponder how absolutely incredible it really is that i can see flowers bloom at home #from the other side of the world #last week i went to a café to do some writing and there was a special on the dawn chorus on the national radio at home and i tuned in #and i could write while listening to birdsong that was happening at that very moment on the other side of the globe #like imagine going back and saying something like that to your great great grandparents!!!!! we're living in it!!!!!!

this part always gets me giggling kicking my feet twirling my hair. when wade kept asking about logan's suit saying he just wanted to bond, logan said "well then talk about something else"

he's practically showing us he's not against talking to wade at all, unlike how he wants us to believe by being so grumpy and telling him to stfu all the time.... that scene really got me going "aw he wants to bond? 🥺" in the theatre

#i think every logan craves human interaction no matter the universe he's in #but THIS one #the “worst wolverine”– alienated from his society for who knows how long #who probably gets people flinching and side-eyeing him whenever he tries to help #who gets people whispering and pointing fingers at him “that's The Wolverine” in a negative way whenever he enters a room #meets someone who can actually hold a conversation with him more than a minute #phew i can only imagine how devastatingly lonely he is #on top of his belief that he deserves to be treated like that #so of course he wants to keep talking #of course he wants to live in wade's world #of course he wants to live in the cramped space where he has to be in close proximity with other people #of course he wants to be in a part of warm and welcoming people #along with his alternate daughter who's just as lonely as he is #because he can't bear the thought of her living somewhere alone when a place where people are ready to appreciate and love them existed #deadpool and wolverine #poolverine #wolverine #deadpool #logan howlett

That is indeed a screenshot of the demon baby blood cave from The Untamed.#It is so over the top edgy. I love how far WWX leans into his Evil Yiling Laozu role in this arc.#Better yet he invites LWJ over and is so unapologetic about it. It really does feel like a 'damn you live like this?" moment.#I think there are two kinds of friends in this world;#those that see your blood pit cave and say nothing and those that tell you they'll come by tomorrow to help you clean up.#ISAT thought time: I know Loop hangs out under a nice big tree 99% of the time but lets be honest;#If there was a evil bloody cave in the vicinity - that is 100% where they would ask Siffrin to meet them in.#Loop sends texts to their stardust with Ominous black images and says 'Go here. Into the dark.'#That or highly specific IP addresses that are right over sinkholes. Or in graveyards.#Point is; I think Loop and the Yiling Laozu would thrive in each other's aesthetics.

#genzen #zengen #demon slayer #genya shinazugawa #zenitsu agatsuma #kimetsu no yaiba #genya x zenitsu #tanjirou kamado #tanjiro kamado #I’ve been feeling a very special type of sad lately so I wanted to kinda project that a little bit on my silly guys #I don’t often think about them in universe it’s always usually just modern au #I like to think that they were on good terms during hashira training #genya apologized for hitting him after they met up again from sanemis training #they spoke a little bit to each other at that point but after that it was mostly just #existing together during group hang outs #the whole group was preexisting already #genya just kinda would stand back and silently watch them have fun and banter #he never really felt like he belonged together with all of them #zenitsu also struggles with feeling like he doesn’t deserve to be apart of the group as well and will sometimes sit back with genya #they laugh together at inosuke and sit in a silence of mutual understanding #he doesn’t really show it but zenitsu is genuinely very torn up about hearing genya death #he missed his chance to be friends with the one guy he had the most in common with #he never got to see the soft side tanjirou would tell him about #if only they could’ve met before everything turned bad #if only they could’ve met in a world without demons #maybe they wouldn’t have turned out so bad if they had each other #maybe he would still be here if he had someone #zenitsu will forever beat himself up that someone as bad as him died when he himself lived #he didn’t deserve his second chance at life just as much as genya didn’t

I'm pretty much the worst person to even weigh in on this topic because I've been partial to Suvi since day one, but in my opinion there wasn't ever a need to explain or justify Suvi's choices/reactions.

Not because she's perfect, never wrong (though in my heart I know...) but because I'm very certain that the people that keep on hammering on her mistakes/shortcomings/tendencies are people that already dislike Suvi (or don't like Aabria very much, I wish this wasn't a topic of consideration but even 30+ eps in there's still people like that around) for whatever reason and gather excuses to justify their bias against her and no amount of explanation will turn their hearts in her favour.

It really feels like a parallel to the way Suvi herself tries to be understood by her friends and yet she fails time and time again.

And people insist on forgetting that Suvi is not the Citadel, she's just one young wizard of the Citadel.

And it's gut-wrenching how much I relate to that feeling of alienation before every corner she tries to fit in: amongst her citadel peers she's othered by her position and privilege, and now by her friendship to a witch and a spirit; between her friends she's the odd-one-out because of her Citadel connections and the nature of her power; and now amongst the witches she stands out by being the face of the "enemy".

I don't blame her for clinging to the little corner of the world that has not made her feel foreign despite the very nature of her presence: in Steel's family whom she's not related to by blood, yet completely by heart.

And it'll never be a fair game. The girls especially are very young and with new-found independence, they're given colossal decisions to make, and that before beings older than three generations of them combined and incomprehensively more powerful and less empathic.

As much as Mirara wants there to be a good witch and bad witch, there's no such thing as black and white, there are decisions and consequences, what one does with the power they're given. There is no right or wrong in a fight filled with so much heart, there was never a world where a fight between Ame and Suvi would be clean.
