when i was like 6 or something i got hit in the head with a catapult (long story) and had to get stitches and when it was time to take those stitches out we go to our family doctor and i'm very nervous bc i'm 6 and our doctor goes

"well, haven't you heard of the stitch fairy?"

obviously i say no

"she's just like the tooth fairy, but for stitches! you can take these home and put them under your pillow and you'll get a dollar!"

wow mom can you believe it!

so i took the stitches home and stuck them under my pillow and when i woke up in the morning i had a dollar
