Hello again!

I just wanted to stop on by and ask some questions on your lovely and creative world building!!

My main thought was how you stated that skin taker is dead, yet in some way still alive? Is it an abysmal thing? Like you can’t fully kill one until they are due to die?

Also I love hearing your headcannons! And would love to hear more of your ideas on abysmals and maybe even how the puppets function, say like if something cut there string?

Second of all *points to Skin-taker* I have no clue what the hell that thing is!

I do definitely think he's dead and thats that. I feel the whole "abyssians can't actually die" deal may over complicate thing a bit, he's just undead yknow? Maybe because of necromancy shit but I like things better if it was vague and he was just... *gestures vaguley* like that.

You can kill an abyssian I think but it's really hard, and you'd have more luck banishing them back to the abyss (the realm the abyssal kingdom is found). I've had the idea that if an abyssian is banished from candle cove back to the abyss in their place will be a corked bottle with a spell that can summon them back, and holding onto it is like a curse cuz if you do you'll have the inexplicable urge to open it but also if you just abandon it you're leaving it for who knows to open and unleash.

I've considered that maybe on top of skinning him Poppy managed to banish whatever was left of Skin-taker and after the fight he was just NOT okay in any physical mental or emotional way, so he just threw the bottle out into the ocean and later on Horace was the one to find it. I kinda like and dislike this cuz it gives more distinction between necromancy and summoning as different types of magic, but also I feel candle cove should be kind of.....idk empty? Vague? I feel really detailed and complex world building and lore could disrupt the creepy, liminal, twisted childrens tale vibe it's got going on. But yknow it's still fun to think about.

I don't have any in depth thoughts on how the puppets function and their anatomy or anything, I just really really like the idea of throughout the series them being....surprisingly organic in a lot of ways and it's just never explained and you're left there just wondering "Why can they hear a heartbeat while in the bowels of the ship?" "Why is the sound of crunching bones coming from that plush doll?" "Why can they bleed?" Idk I just like leaving some things up for the imagination.

As for their strings I actually do have a headcannon about them! Only the characters on the show who become aware of the audience somehow can see their strings, but don't necessarily have the power to cut them. Skin-taker can see his and, at least appears not to or is too far gone to mind. He fidgets with them a lot actually, like a kid messing with their shoelace.

Red Mary and Gorger (ManBearPig) are the only characters who can see and also interact with everyone elses strings. Gorger, because as Grimmes sort of insert of himself, is the most aware of the nature of candle cove as a TV show and actually plays a role in keeping things in line, keeping the story going how it's supposed to. I assume if someones strings get cut it's like cutting an unnessecary character from a story. Any trace of them is wiped from the world and just their husk is left. There's a lot of limp, lifeless puppet and doll bodies scattered throughout Gorgers cave. *points to Mary* She's just a terrifying fucking freak. She's burnt her strings she says, and remains despite it.

Hey, I'm the anon you just answered (thank you for that, you could have just deleted my blind speculating, but thank you :) ) I am so pleased with how the episode turned out! Part of me wishes there could have been a confrontation with Tartt Sr, with Jamie backed up by the people who love him, but no, I absolutely loved that episode! Jamie absolutely broke my heart (the boot room scene, even though it got a little comic, oh god his face when he was saying how tired he was was just devastating). I love how Roy and Keeley spent the whole ep essentially just trying to make sure he is ok and expressing their love for him, I love the scene with his mum (hes a mummy's boy! Their relationship is just adorable!). Seeing him hurt on the pitch actually gave me chest pains, and when he walks off to the applause, big puppy eyes full of tears? I absolutely sobbed. And the med room scene! That scene was everything, the love they all have for each other, I am so happy they did that, I love them so much

Hiya, friendly speculation nonny! Very happy you decided to share your thoughts – I very much agree with them! There are a couple of tiny details (literally two) that had me a little “meh!” (and I still have a lot of questions about the Keeley poster, in spite of adoring the OT3 of it all) but all in all, this episode was so much more than I could have dreamed of! And different from what I’d dreamed, and it was just really, really perfect. And as much as the OT3 was gorgerous, gorgerous, gorgerous, the best thing might have been Jamie and his mum. They way they were with each other just explained so much about Jamie and I’m so freaking glad he’s had that sort of love and support in his life. And Simon! Darling Simon!

But also, the OT3. God. If we could just have this be the status of their relationship when the show ends, that would be perfect, that would be lovely.  

A confrontation with Tartt Sr has a lot of dramatic potential, and there’s nothing to say it can’t be explored in fanfic, even given what we got in this episode. He might slip back into bad habits and the team might still get the chance to stand up for our number 9! (I also have a vague notion that if his rehabilitation sticks and if him and Jamie does develop some sort of functional relationship and Jamie decides to invite him to some sort of event that includes other members of the team they could all just corner Tartt Sr. and give him some variant of the shovel talk, you ever hurt him again we’ll fuck you up, and that’s be nice too.)l

I am a Castlevania games fan. I know the lore. Castlevania is a very old franchise starting back in 1986 before all the woke nonsense. When the animation came along I did to some extent appreciate it. What I hated about the Netflix series was how the leftist woke nonsense bastardized Alucard's masculinity and made a sexual pervert and a weak wimp out of him. Alucard happens to be one of my most beloved heroes and game characters and the way woke culture ruined him and made him an Alphabet freak was simply PATHETIC. To us Original Castlevania fans, our Alucard is, was and will aslways be STRAIGHT with his noble personality. However, one of the few good things the Netflix production did was to add a totally new characters such as Greta. She is a beautiful Romani Gypsy woman who is paired with our Alucard and the couple is wonderful in my eyes. There are fans who speculate that Greta is a race swapped gender swapped version of an old game hero Grant. I assure you she is NOT. She is an original like Lenore, Striga and Morana who I equally liked.

She is from a village called Danesti which is an actual town situated in Transylvania if you look up google. Now you may find similarities in the names Danesti and Greta vs Grant but I tell you Grant was not even introduced in the animation series at all. Grant is a lowly thief and a pirate living in Targoviste of Wallachia and Grant is a gorger( Not a gypsy ) meaning he is a white person with blue eyes and blonde hair in the castlevania lore.

Greta is a dignified woman of the village and the chief's daughter. No need to speculate on a game character that didnot appear folks. Netflix is a perverted corporation that has bastardized many beautiful art and literature,destroyed characters in games and corrupted source materials in the name of SWJ and fucking woke. All that aside, Greta and her romance with Alucard was one of their good creations. It was way better than Trevor with the boyish Sypha in my eyes. I personally like Greta's beauty and spirit way more than Sypha. Sypha is just ugly. Go Gretacard ! I really wish Greta was introduced in Season 3 instead of the crap we got see and I know for a fact that people would have more than loved to see some good romantic love story of her and Alucard if the producers shed more light on them. Also the ratings of Season 3 would not fall.

STEVE

Steve has been wondering for a while how would have felt waking up next to you, and as soon as this happens, he is the happiest person alive. He slowly opens his eyes and turn his head to you, his heart skipping a beat while noticing how beautiful you look. In the meanwhile, you wake up in that exact same moment. "Good morning, love." He whispers while gently caressing your bare legs, you smile. "Good morning, Captain." You say and he blushes a bit.

THOR

Thor is not exactly a morning person, you would probably wake up before he does. As soon as he opens his eyes and sees you walking around the room, half naked and collecting your things, he goes totally crazy. "Honey, come here." He says, his voice still sleepy. You look at him and smile while laying down next to him again. "Good morning, baby." You whisper and place a kiss on his lips, he caresses your hip and his hand travels to your ass, his fingers delicate on your skin. "Morning, you look beautiful." He says and smiles to you.

NATASHA

Natasha wakes up very early: she sees you and her entire day it's made. She immediately smiles, her arms wrapping around your body while you adjust yourself in her hug. She softly chuckles and stares at you, her heart beating faster while realizing how much she loves you. She places a kiss on your forehead and sees you slowly opening your eyes. "Sorry, sweetheart, I didn't mean to wake you up," she apolgises, her fingers tracing your shoulder. "It's very early, sleep, I'm right here next to you." She tenderly invites you.

WANDA

Wanda never thought that she was going to feel so much love for someone, yet here you are, peacefully sleeping next to her. She wakes up and immediately turns on her side to look at you, her fingers running through yourr hair. You wake up and smile at her. "Good morning, baby." You whisper while caressing her neck and she blushes, her heart filled with love. "Morning to you too, sleepyhead." She jokes.

SAM

Sam wakes up and he doesn't realise at first, he can't even remember the last time he woke up next to someone he actually cared that much about. In the moment he sees you, lying naked next to him while he spoons you, he immediately smiles. He looks at you while holding you tight, his hand caressing your arm. "Morning, honey." He whispers while placing a kiss on your cheek. "Mmh, morning Sam." You mumble, still half asleep, and turn on the other side to hig him. He chuckles and squeezes you gently.

PETER

Peter wakes up with the sound of his phone ringing, Ned warning him that there is a robbery he needs to stops. He hesitates while looking at you, he wanted to enjoy a quite morning mext to you but duty calls. He quickly puts his suit on and kiss your forehead, his eyes travelling on your naked body and thinking how gorgerous you are before he leaves. He comes back from the very quick mission only to find you awake. He freaks out: "Oh my... baby, I'm sorry I left. I didn't mean to, it's just, there was a robbery, I had to --" he says while he removes his suit. You chuckled and take his hand while pulling him to the bed. "Baby, I'm not angry. But you better make it up to me now." You joke while your finger travels on his naked chest, he blushes a bit but immediately kiss you.

BUCKY

You and Bucky wake up in the same moment. He squeezes his eyes and puts you ito focus: his heart starts pounding faster, he can't believe how beautiful it is waking up next to you. It's almost hard to him to get attached to someone but he simply can't help but falling for you and he is grateful. You smile to him while gently running your fingers through hid hair. "Good morning, Sergeant." You say while he smirks a bit, he loves when you call him that way. "Morning, doll." He says while his hands travel on your naked body. You grin and take his dog tag just to pull him closer, he holds his breath. "Thirty seconds awake and you're already provoking me." He says while attaching his lips to your neck. You smile while tilting your head aside and letting him make love to you one more time.

LOKI

Loki opens his eyes and he is mesmerized by the sight of you. You're completely naked, your legs on his and your arm on his chest while your head rests on his shoulder. You look so tiny while you hug him. He smiles, his stomach filling with butterflies while he softly kisses your forhead. You mumble and squeeze him without opening your eyes and he chuckles. "Pet, you're adorable." He whispers while caressing your bare back. You smile while slowly opening your eyes. "Morning, Lo." It happens after he almost gets killed by Batman, again. He almost lost his voice, another scar added to the many he has already. But he survives, he survives goddamn Batman, the fucking Joker, he just... lives another day.

He's bitter, of course, who wouldn't be. But he's especially bitter towards the person who saved him. His mother. His actual mother. Apparently Sheila lied like a bitch she was, may she burn in hell, and his mother was Sandra Woosan. And she finally deemed him worthy to be recognized as her son.

Yeah, well, fuck her too. Fuck her, fuck Talia, fuck the Replacement, just- fuck everybody. Jason is so done, done being played, done dying, done getting hurt over and over again.

While he makes the decision to leave, his biological mother starts to talk about legacy and him learning from her. He can't exactly tell, he stopped listening to her a long time ago.

He left as soon as he could. But then Talia got him and she too started talking about going back to Gotham or joining her, it was his choice after all, she would support him no matter what.

Bullshit.

Jason didn't do anything she said and just left. Once again. Praying to any deity out there he would be actually left alone.

His prayers are answered. Somewhat.

He's somewhere in Japan, in a cozy little restaurant, drinking shake and eating awesome ramen. Jason is having a peacful time, until a random teenager plops right next to him and asks him what's wrong with him.

"Don't mind me, but you are gorgerous- like man, who made you?" Jason just stares, not knowing what to answer.

"Alright, who made you sad? Looking like this doesn't do anything for your beauty, I'm telling you."

And Jason just... spills. He tells the stranger how he found out about his birth mother, about his father, and just dumping everything. And the teenager has good advice.

"Just do something that has all of them shaking in rage, because you're doing what you want. And do it fucking good- slay it, show them who the boss is. Write a book, become an actor, a farmer, marry someone- hell, become a buddhist! Just something nothing your shitty parents want from you. Do what you want."

But Jason doesn't know what he wants. Not anymore.

He wanders around first, not knowing what do to and where to go. From Japan to Australia, then to Spain, then to Brazil- all around the world, searching for something he wants, while rubbing it everyone faces.

A group of teenager girls help him make his decision.

Jason hears them gushing over something, and from what he could hear and see, it was about some famous people? Actors, maybe singers? They are very enthuaiastic about it, which is the reason why he goes up to them and asks them bluntly about it.

They just blink, shocked a man like him would want to know what their talking about, not in a negative way, just simply curious.

Idols. They're talking about idols.

Jason decides to become an idol. And he would be fucking good at being an idol.

He is not prepared for the shitshow.

He does his research, reads about rumors, goes deep into the fandoms and collects any kind of information that could be helpful.

And once he thinks he's prepared enough, he signs up as a trainee.

His trainers and the company quickly realize, how fast Jason learns. When they ask, he just shrugs and goes, "I trained martial arts, dancing is pretty much similar. And singing is easy once you get over stage fright."

They put him in a group close to their debut, announce him and people freak the fuck out.

It's his presence, his ease in dancing, that dangerous smile, his eyes, his hair- the white streak, the muscles. And his voice- the smoothness while singing, the roughness when rapping.

He's introduced as Jason, stage name Shiva and quickly becomes the center of his group.

Sadly, it doesn't work long with his group.

Classical drama happens, their fans are fighting everyone, the members are doing shit they shouldn’t do and the company disbands the group.

But they don't let go of Jason. Not that he wants them too.

He threatened the CEO of the company, if they don't give him the career he wants to rub in his parents faces, he's going to sue, after destroying him and his lifework. And he will do it without hesitation. The CEO believes him.

Shiva starts a solo career. And without a group holding him back, Jason takes over as a K-pop idol.

There are many internet fights about him being a K-pop idol, when he's chinese and american. While fluently speaking korean, japanese, spanish, english and some more languages.

Jason doesn't care about that, it only makes him even more famous. Something he definitely wants. And he gets very famous.

I just finished watching Away, and it's literally SO FREAKING GOOD. It's beautiful. The space walk of Emma and Ram? GORGEROUS. Misha and Lu being besties? Literally amazing. I love everything. And suddenly I have and obsession with scifi and space. Hell because of this show, I have been obsessed with the Artemis mission. Its a great show, please go watch it!!!!

K but looking back, the underland chronicles as far as conflict and villains go, is perfect. but one thing that would have been interesting for the series, but alas impossible, would be seeing more of king Gorger. see he's a bloodthirsty psycho but with a reason. He was minding his own frikking business when solavet attacked the gnawers in the garden of hesperides out of the blue. he became king because he was absolutely haywire after what she did. slaughtering innocent civilians and pups. I don't blame him.

his vile and controlling behavior to the other rats and allies was not justified, hence still a villain. an underland attack? nuts. he's crazy. but he was attacking the ones he percieved to be helping the humans. the killers. the ones who have been attacking the underland since day one (lets not forget the diggers)

something Gorger DID do is ally himself with the crawlers. the gnawers prey. He knew as long as they were allied they would not do anything against them. He made a safe but sacrificing decision.

Honestly as soon as he showed up I was so ready for this dude to be the series main villain because he's A SASSY DIVA AND A MADMAN.

He strolls in casually, sprawls out on his side like a victoria's secret model, and ha's this dangerous elequence to him. he will mock you to your face. he will skip the niceties (aside from a dramatic entrance degrading villainous introduction, and a little idle chit chat to let you know he's calm and totally in control) he will do this like a freaking sherlock holmes villain. i. loved it. 'you're a nice fellow, I hate to kill you.' type of guy. but behind that relaxed, poised, and very elegantly royal appearence, you don't have to look closely to see that it's all frail as glass. he'll flip on a dime and lash out like a wild animal. he's brutal. he's toxic. he's king for a reason. HE ACCESORIZES WITH THE CROWN OF HIS FALLEN ENEMY AND WEARS IT TO MEET HIS DAUGHTER THIS MAN IS HERE FOR THE APPLAUSE. he likes to play with his prey and wants everyone to be afraid. once someone counters that, he starts to crack. MAN I LOVE THE COMPLEXITY AND POTENTIAL AND PERSONALITY OF THIS WRETCHED MONSTER I WANTED MORE OF HIM WHY DID HE ONLY GET TWO PAGES.

THE WAY HE WAS SO CONFIDENT TOWARDS RIPRED AND SEEMED TO KNOW HIM PRETTY WELL I THINK GORGER RATHER TOOK A SHINE TO HAVING A RAGER MERCINARY AND PUTTING HIM IN THE DUNGEON TO CARE FOR GREGOR'S DAD WAS A SURE-FIRE WAY TO KEEP HIM LOW ON THE PODIUM AND CLOSE

AND HE ISN'T STUPID. There are SO many, they’re rich of details and I think thery’re just all so freaking pretty,, you choose! I thought you could get some inspiration from this, I gave you a bunch of pictures so you cloud see some of them, but you can also google yourself some more; for example, some of my favorites are the red coat one, the light blue one, the one where she wears the white suit with the silver purse, the white one with the huge white hat and the ligh blue silky dress.

     So! I just realized I'd never really talked about that whole Underland Chronicles / Danny Phantom crossover offshoot thingamajig too much, so here's some random world-building tidbits. I'll throw them under a cut like usual.

     - Gregor's family moved to Amity Park mostly because it was so weird it might let their son’s odd nature go unnoticed, but that wasn't the only reason. The property values were actually low enough they were able to afford their own house for the first time-- not only because of the ghosts, but also because they happen to be right down the street from the Fentonworks. Needless to say that is one neighborhood most people do not want to live in.

     - The ghosts... Really didn't freak out Gregor or his family as much as they would most newcomers. After everything they'd seen in the Underland, witnessing a couple ghosts battling each other on their way into town really wasn't so shocking. His mom wasn't too thrilled, but Boots thought it was great.

     - Speaking of Boots, she often asks to go ‘ghost watching,’ hoping to catch a glimpse of a spooky specter. She's absolutely fascinated by them, especially since ghosts seem to be Amity Park’s specialty. Gregor always makes sure to take her someplace they're not likely to actually find a ghost. Usually the park is the best bet.

     - For reasons unclear at first, Boots instantly decided that Phantom was her ‘favorite ghost’ as soon as she saw a video of him in the car, while they were riding into town. Like always, the girl has a knack for picking out kind people-- then again, she never did meet somebody she didn't like.

     - Gregor picked up that there was something ‘odd’ about the local supernatural superhero almost immediately after actually meeting him in person. Danny Phantom, despite acting the role, just seemed so much like an ordinary, friendly kid to him. It just didn't seem to add up.

     - Gregor doesn't really get why people dislike the guy so much, either, and can get a bit irate when he hears people talking bad about Phantom behind his back. And if they try to justify their distrust with ‘he’s just a ghost,’ that just makes him angrier, reminding Gregor of how the Underlanders felt about the Gnawers.

     - Many of Gregor’s old, deceased enemies have long since regrouped in the Ghost Zone, awaiting their chance to wreak havoc and seize power. The Bane, King Gorger, and Twirltongue are the main opponents. However, other old foes such as Fangor, Shed, Snare, and even Henry are still there, preparing their own special revenge on the Warrior. And that's not even mentioning the legions of cutters and gnawers he's slain in battle...

     - On the bright side, Gregor’s enemies aren't the only ones who remain as spirits. Twitchtip, Thalia, Pandora, Tick, and of course Ares are all still lingering on the other side. As things heat up and word spreads that Gregor has moved right to the other side of a stable portal to the Ghost Zone, some might just lend their aid.

     - After finding that some of his old acquaintances from below ground are returning as ghosts, Ares is the first thing on Gregor’s mind. On one hand, he'd love to see his bond again, and the knowledge that there is at least something after death does make him feel a bit better. But on the other hand, Gregor worries that Ares will in some way blame him for his death... After all, Gregor was the one who said they had to get closer-- resulting in the maneuver which killed both the Bane and Ares.

     - Ares, however, doesn't blame Gregor at all; in fact, somewhere in the Ghost Zone, he's still trying to discover his bond’s fate. Unable to know for certain if Gregor even survived, learning how their battle ended is the first thing on his mind. The bat knows that the Bane perished, but considering Gregor was badly wounded the last he or that giant rat had seen... To them, the Warrior’s survival seemed highly unlikely. And after all, the prophecy did call for his death... Didn't it?

     - As it turns out, Gregor makes a pretty decent member of team Phantom. Once he's become a good friend of the ghost, he helps out on occasion to try and hold back the onslaught of spectral invaders. Though he refuses to use anything that could cause too much harm, Gregor can get by quite well with a lot of Fenton anti-ghost tech. His Rager reflexes are just as sharp as ever.

.... so I thought that the poster was my chance. And I do this insane thing, I made a poster which said: 'Can I sing 'The Currents' with you?'. I now actually wish that I had written something less selfish, like a Kyle's talent appreciation poster or anything. But oh well. So I actually finish this poster like a few hours before the gig, and go straight to the venue. I was freaking out that I would be late, but at about 1 pm I was only the 8th person in the queue. And being the idiot that I am, who can't stick to only one opinion I immediately got mad at people for not being in line already. But anyway, let's skip the waiting in line 'cause there's nothing cool about that. Let's get straight to that part when we saw that minibus with the band and Tom sitting in the front sit and filming. We were the first on the Eastern European leg of the WW tour so I think they wanted to film that. BUT, imagine them arriving in the bus, AND seeing about 15-20 people in line. I felt such a shame for my Country. So, then we saw the guys coming out of the bus. Woody was the first one, that I remember clearly, then I'm not sure, I think either Will or Kyle. And I remember that Dan was the last one. All the girls around me legit screamed at the sight of Dan and we actually wanted to approach them. But the lady who assisted them (she was a local, that I can tell for sure), just shushed at us and told us to stand still. Will and Dan waved at us though. So that's alright. Okay, so then we learned from Twitter that the guys went to explore the city while we were waiting in line which is fine, I'm happy that they get to see so many new places this time around. So in the end, the doors were open and there were quite a few people who cut the line, so I was worried I wouldn't get the front row. So I got to the venue and we were even prohibited to run to the barricade (like what the actual f*ck?). Luckily, I made some good friends with thhose other girls who were standing with me in line and I saw that they were holding a place for me - sweetest thing EVER! So, we score the front row and I was about to die because I got just the place that I'd wanted, the Kyle's side. The opening act - Matt Wills - was fantastic and it's too bad we didn't come up with anything for the guy, but we did sing along to his songs. We even got to hang out with him after the show. The most likeable and sweetest lad out there! To the Bastille show, though. So, the show started and like anyone, I was feeling exhilirated, the sound was sooo good, and the boys were so good looking, so I was singing my heart out and I totally forgot about my sign which was lying right under my feet. And then my friends started nagging me about it. I was very shy at first and it took me about 2-3 songs to actually do it. So okay, I put up the poster, and my friend helped me hold it. So, the song started and I know lots of people hate at it for its political content, but to me it means a lot and I see it not only as a political song but also a deeply personal one. Anyway, the song started and Dan just pointed his finger at me. And I was like, WAIT WHAT? no, that can't be. And he goes on and sings the first verse, and dancing his crazy tribal dances, as he usually does. So, I think, well, okay, well, maybe he meant that the song was like 'for me'. Egoistic? yes! but I wanted to believe that and I did. BUT.... then the craziest thing happend. During the chorus Dan started moving towards the edge of the stage, and when he started going down the stairs the realisation struck me hard. I mean, everything was like in a movie - slow mo, and all that jazz. I swear, every second lasted more than an eternity. My mouth went completely dry and my mind went blank. So, there I was, with Dan fucking Smith holding his mic out to me to sing the second verse to The Currents. And I sang. Horribly! Too quiet for anybody to even hear (I don't think the crowed even noticed that there was somebody else singing) but singing my heart out with the rest of the band playing and OMG this was MAGICAL!! After the verse....Dan went up the stage again and gave me the thumbs up, and I even have this on camera. AND on top of it, Kyle also gave me the thumbs up, this one, however is going to stay in my heart and in my mind forever because there's no video of this part. But Kyle kept glancing at out part throughout the whole gig and I smiled back at him A LOT because duh! he's a gorgerous human being! So, that's basically it. The show was incredible! We waited around for about 2 more hours but as we soon realised the guys went straight to the hotel. It was the last day of winter so we legit froze our asses off but i still don't regret it. It was the best way to say goodbye to winter. I want to see them again so bad, but I don't think it's going to happen any time soon.
