A random twitter post lead me to doing some research for Journey. For the longest time I couldn’t figure out what was on her arm; I could tell it wasn’t tattoos or anything like that. It’s gotta be athletic tape and I’m still trying to completely understand how it works, but hey, that’s one mystery solved for me

I also didn’t actually realize there was a bandage wrap thing on her wrist, yet another case of I really only look at the character’s face lmao

Journey & Remedy Headcanons

-Remedy is taller than most other EGO members... maybe like 6'1-6'2 or so. She hates the attention that it brings her, so in a bit of a weird way it is part of why she likes her job as a medic. Injured patients are more worried about other things than judging how she looks

-Journey is a bubbly and sweet person naturally, but she also does use jokes as a bit of a coping mechanism for her mental health. She is absolutely terrified of Hazard, so sometimes will joke about how she and Remedy both have evil clones with green hair (to which Rem argues that Toxin can't be her clone if they aren't the same age, don't have the same DNA, etc etc)

-Adding onto that last one, Remedy does acknowledge that she doesn't like Hazard, and whenever she has time she helps Journey redye her hair to separate herself from her clone. Because she's a nice person. It's not like she likes Journey or anything

-Journey absolutely calls her Remy when there's nobody else around. Remy pretends to hate it but really doesn't mind it. She doesn't have any nicknames for Journey though, she sees them as a bit pointless

-No mountain climbing, no hiking, and no missions until Remy makes sure that there are enough medical supplies in the event that Journey has an accident. Which is very rare, but better to be safe than sorry.

-Journey is one of the only people that Midas never argues with, because he knows he can't win. She's too kind for him to be rude to her, and (privately) is one of the few agents who never does stupid things

-She's really good at physically healing people, but Remedy is comically bad at giving advice on mental health. Almost worse than Midas actually. "Build a bridge and get over it." is her usual words of wisdom before sending the person to someone else

-Rem and 8-Ball get along really well, they're both considered the grumpy member of their squad, and get dragged along everywhere by their mutual ray of sunshine. They also both have a really odd sense of humor that nobody else gets but the other

-There are technically no pets allowed in the Agency (Meowscles doesn't count because he's half human, Kit gets a free pass for being Meows' son). But for a long while Journey had a pet rabbit that she had found injured while on a hike. Remedy didn't want to be anywhere near it ("it's unhygienic"), but she saw how much Journey cared about it and secretly kept a space for it in the back of her infirmary

I don’t think I will EVER get over how breathtakingly gorgeous the Chapter 3 island theme is. From the epic, adventurous intro to the lush, flowing strings of the mid-section and back to grandness of the third section it is just so beautifully composed. As much as I love the other 2 themes (chapters 4/5) and believe they are just as good, they haven’t quite taken me on such a ride as much as this one. Phill Boucher is absolutely our fortnite music lord and savior and as a a current music composition university student I aspire to produce something like this💜
