Siara, The Goddess of Life and Death!

Her real name is Siarendell Amoralis, but she ended up shortening her name down to Siara due to hating her full name.

In her mortal life, she was formerly apart of a cult worshipping The Goddess of Infamy, Karone, or rather, she was born into it.

Her parents, Sialine Amoralis, and Daintus Amoralis, were seen as figureheads within the cult along with her aunt, Glory Muse and her uncle, Valor Muse.

Spent her short lifespan pressured to be perfect and flawless because she wasn't born correctly.

Looks nothing like anyone in her family.

Literally looks adopted.

Was passionate about violin playing but was forced to quit due to her mother believing it was a useless skill.

Ultimately died after being impaled with a stake through the skull and being dismembered.

Her aunt and uncle were paid to kill her due to her parents believing she could never amount to anything and would forever fail to meet their expectations.

Never got a proper burial, ended up being sacrificed and having her body burnt to ashes.

Literally was forced into godhood.

Didn't really have a choice.

Amelia became her mother figure.

Ended up snapping due to the pressure of her job.

Nearly murdered Amelia and stormed off to become emo.

Had a goofy ahh villain ark.

Was a certified hater.

Which was kind of valid, after nearly being murdered.

Torture intensifies.

Built her own sanctuary to isolate herself but literally just ended up drowning in her own anger.

Evil antics.

Casualties happened.

Ultimately got the shit beat out of her.

Nearly died again.

Finally got a redemption ark.

Normal person moment fr.

Not really.

Has nightmares about the trauma she faced dealing with her mother as a child.

Siara is an extremely guilty person.

Self-loathing.

Overworks herself constantly and blames herself for things that aren't even her fault.

Cries herself to sleep at night.

On the bright side.

She actually has a very goofy personality.

Can and will be silly.

Currently going through every stage of self-hatred known to man.

Crying screaming and throwing up.

Mentally unwell.

Still tries to help people despite this.

So uhhhhhh my cat can literally diagnose Covid, AND regularly detects it 2 days before a test can?

Like this has happened multiple times.

We literally go:

"The test is negative and I feel fine, but she's been lying beside me all day, so I'm worried"

[2 days pass]

"Dammit! Yeah, test is positive."

We literally - LITERALLY - use my cat as a diagnostic tool.

She somehow *knows* when we have Covid, days before the viral load is detectable on a test. She demonstrates her diagnosis by lying beside us 24/7, bc she always wants to watch over us when we're sick (even with things like migraines🥲). She takes it as her sacred duty.

Like, wtf? Can all cats do this, and she's just the only one that chooses to act upon the knowledge???

My roommates have Covid (she diagnosed it in both of them, separately, 2 days before any tests could detect it, natch). I just did a test but *knew* it would be negative, bc she hasn't diagnosed me.

Should I be advertising her skills as a diagnostic device?

Like literally the tests can't detect the viral load yet, the person can be feeling NO symptoms yet, but the cat Knows™️.

(And, bc she's my cat, and somehow, like me, came with a freaking Responsibility Complex, she acts upon that knowledge by setting up guard to care for us 🥲)

I need to find research about this, genuinely.

I've read about dogs and even sometimes cats detecting serious illnesses or medical events, of course, and the infamous cats who hang out with people who are passing away, but I can't find much specific to this situation.

Can other cats detect Covid? Or is it something unique to her? And there's a big difference between detection and diagnosis: maybe other cats can detect it but don't do anything about their knowledge, don't alter their behaviour, whereas she detects it and then acts on it in a visible, observable way?

Is she extra skilled and in-tune, or is it just that her Responsibility Complex makes her *show us* that she can tell we're sick?

And, once again, WTF?

How is my cat a more powerful, sensitive, and reliable diagnostic device than literal tests?

This is fun. DC Douglas might not be actively racist, but he sure was super concerned about not having any Black people in the "Wesker Children" during the BLM protests in 2020 because he was "really" concerned about shooting Black Cops in RE2R when he streamed it. If he hadn't hidden it (which he did) then you would be able to hear the constant worrying about how many Black folks were in the game. Abelism? DC? No way. I only had to tell him not to use the r-slur to describe an Albert Wesker render that he thought was ugly to a group of Neurodivergent kids who had been called that slur a lot in the 90's. Don't believe me? Here's him using it as late as 2010 (I scolded him in 2020 or early 2021, pre April when we had out falling out) on Wikipedia. Matt Dusing aka Matt Haunter also used the word "because retarded is a medical term" like baby just because you have low IQ doesn't mean the rest of us do just because we're autistic, silly Matt.

DC Douglas also routinely misgendered one of the two trans people in our streaming group. Victor Lindemann is also trans, but he passed as soon as he switched pronouns to he/him and came out. There was another person who was also Trans, and DC routinely misgendered him by using she/her pronouns despite said person being out as Trans for most of their life, including when DC met them. He would often try to struggle to gender them correctly publicly and get it right sometimes, but when alone or trans friend wasn't around, he would openly say "she/her" and once went so far to say that, "gender is visually coded and you look like a pretty girl!" I hate to be the one to tell you that his anti-transphobia and ableism is performative.

Just don't believe most of the things out of his mouth. He was raised by Betty Malicoat, who is a new age healer who charges out the butt for her "advice" and let me tell you, she didn't do a good job raising him. :(

here’s my take on the lily gao situation

First, the game releases. Among the performances, Ada’s is noted to be, without a doubt, the worst. Like, super flat, very phoned in, every line I kept asking myself, “was that the right delivery? why did they keep that in? did they just... not do any more takes? why is it so... amateurish?” Of course, a series as huge as resident evil is bound to attract the kind of spergs that would attack someone for a shitty performance; it’s practically a household name at this point after all. So then, it comes out that...

Lily Gao, Ada’s VA, deletes all her instagram posts because she is, allegedly, being harassed. All but one post. About... White Privilege. Red flag #1. Now, sure, I could be wrong at this point, but after the whole Helena Taylor fiasco I’ve come to realize that trusting people paid huge amounts of money to say things into a microphone without any hesitation is foolish at best. I go, “well this is probably horseshit because it smells like ‘pity me’ publicity stunt horseshit from a no-name actress who saw a chance and took it” and call it a day.

Then drops the big post. You know, the “this is my ada” “I’m the first asian actress to play ada” “my ada is a survivor, not sexualized” etc etc bullshit, throwing every actress who played ada before her(including the ones who are, in fact, asian because they voiced her in asian localizations) and basically making it all about her. Turns out, I was right. She’s full of shit and it’s a publicity stunt.
