Customer told me today I had a really good memory because I recalled a conversation with him from last week.

Me.

The same person that can’t remember what date it is let alone the day of the week. Couldn’t tell you what I ate last night or any other day. Thinks 2019 was two years ago, max three. Forgets everything that isn’t written down on a sticky note that I also forget to look at.

Laurel poured the shimmering water into the teapot along with the tea Yurei had chosen, “just a finger prick, and I’ll heal it afterwards,” the Fae woman assured, taking the dagger and pressing the tip into the pad of her pointer finger just hard enough to draw blood. She let three drops fall into the pot, then placed the lid on top, muttering a quiet word. The silver seemed to turn transparent, glowing a soft teal.

Then she placed a teacup in front of Rebecca, Jacob, and then Wulf, “Let one drop of blood fall in your respective cup, please.”

Tony switched from floating to treading water, “hello,” he greeted warmly.

With a little hesitance Rebecca complied and helped Jacob with his. They both looked over at Wulf's cup confused "But why is Wulf getting a disguise? He's already got one?" Jacob pointed out confused.

I have a weird instance of amnesia for a specific point in time; August last year (2023). I was checking through my Ebay purchases and saw an item that I don't remember buying, although typically an item I would purchase without hesitation, but I also don't remember ever receiving it.

I checked through my emails to see if I ever had a dispatch notification for this item, which it did. It also came with a tracked shipping number. Although the Ebay listing was long deleted, the tracking still worked as an archive link and showed as delivered for my area. Still don't remember receiving a parcel.

I had to physically find the item that I purchased, which was stowed away inside a lockbox inside a bag, to instantly regain the memory of me opening the parcel for this item.

But I still can't remember receiving it...
