I have this hc about Tsuna gettin' drunk and being 1. such a lovely loser talking how cute is his family and being like super soft around them telling how special they are to him ; 2. crying on how his life before mafia was so calm and now he has to stay ina desk with tons of papers that made him insomniac.
Do you have any drunk tuna fish hc?
-Tsuna is absolutely an affectionate drunk. He becomes very touchy feely with his family members, always hanging onto them and snuggling with them
-If he's had a particular hard day, he'll lament about the craziness of his life to whoever he's clinging to
-He also becomes very persistent, and if he wants a hug in his drunken state, he will pursue the matter to the death (Hibari and Mukuro will give him a hug just to get Tsuna off their backs)
-Then he hits a certain point where he'll just pass out. Someone usually has to carry him to his bed or a couch, unless it's Hibari, who will leave him on the floor if that's where he's dead asleep

Since you are still watching KHR, what do you think of Harry being related to Tsuna through Nana ?
Like Nana is a distant cousin of the Potter ?
And like Harry discovered this connection after the war ?
Harry wanted to leave England and went to find his cousin?
Also Harry knows about Flames ( maybe it is some kind of magic ? Some fictions call it soul flame I think).
Harry meets Tsuna and Nana, and Harry discovers that his baby cousin ( Tsuna is still a kid, maybe a year after he was sealed) has his flames sealed ? No under his watch. Harry uses his flames ( I can see Harry being a cloud sky) to unseal Tsuna flame.
Iemitsu still has no idea that Harry exists and now lives with his family.
By the time Reborn arrives and Tsuna is no longer sealed? It would be chaos!
Oh. Oh this could be fun.
Harry looking down at the results of a lineage potion he had brewed in a state of drunken despair, needing the proof to know that he was in fact alone other than the Dursleys. Needing that last assurance that all of his pain and suffering was necessary and not just decided by someone he thought he could trust for “the greater good”.
He finds two names instead.
Nana and Tsunayoshi Sawada. Mother and son.
And Harry… didn’t plan for this outcome.
He finds himself in Japan a week later, standing outside of an innocent looking door and knowing that what he finds on the other side could ruin him completely.
What if she didn’t want him in their lives? What if she was like the Dursleys? What if—
Nana opens the door before he can convince himself to walk away. She takes one look at his pale face and the dark circles under his eyes before ushering him into the house.
She cries when Harry tells her he is James Potter’s son. Cries harder when he tells her about the ending of the war she had only heard whispers of half a world away living a muggle life. She offers him a place in her home, offers him so much more when she cups his face in gentle hands and promises him that he can finally rest.
And Harry thinks he understands what it feels like to be loved by a mother in that exact moment. Understands what it means to be safe.
And what can he do but return that safety and love tenfold?
He sits Nana down and explains elemental magic to her. Explains what it does to a flame user to seal that part of them away. Explains what her husband and his “boss” stole from her only child.
Harry removes the seal.
Nana files for a divorce.
Even the Vongola Family isn’t powerful enough to outweigh the sway of The Man Who Conquered.
Tsuna grows up a happy, healthy child with his mother and “older brother” watching over him. He grows up with flames and magic and the knowledge that above all else his is loved and protected.
And by the time he is the Vongola Family’s only hope for an heir and they send a hitman to their door, Tsuna knows that if he is going to be forced into this he is going to make them all choke on it as he tears the Vongola down piece by piece.
#the elf talks#reborn#harry potter#katekyo hitman reborn#a competent Tsuna who starts with his idea of forever changing the Vongola family is so powerful tbh#I could see Harry as a sky which could open extra hilarity tbh#because he would be an obnoxiously powerful sky. perhaps in fact the Most Powerful Sky

OK OK but Fullmetal Sky AU Ed and Al becoming the mafia world's ethics panel when they realize these people genuinely don't have one beyond the "Go straight to jail for forever" that is the Vindice. They KNOW what unsupervised science leads to. Learning about the Estraneo and Mukuro is it for them. They work with other families to set up an independent board so it isn't just Vongola on high, and now you must submit proposals for all projects, get approvals and they WILL do progress inspections.
Oh god yes. Ed and Al would look at the mafia as it stands and be like "are you, are you people fucking serious???" and just turn towards each other all horrified like BROTHER????
They're gonna grab the mafia by the throat and get this shit straightened out.
And, eventually, it's gonna be real hilarious because not only will Tsuna be Decimo, and Al is probably going to quietly take over his own corner of the mafia but Ed is also gonna have the Arcobaleno backing him too.
He's going to have ultimate Scary Dog Privilege right up until outsiders realize that, uhhh actually, Ed's kind of the scariest dog in any given room if you push him.

Hello, everyone. To today's episode of Tumblr user Rebo-chan loses her mind and assigns each and every Vongola guardian a flower that I have painstakingly searched high and low for (I wish I was being dramatic, I got too invested in this as I worked on it). Is this done in a state of mania? Perhaps, but I am diseased by COVID-19 as we speak and this is what I will do with the time I am meant to be resting with. Nonetheless we must get started. Content under the cut, because I can NEVER make a short post. It's against my core beliefs clearly.
Sawada Tsunayoshi:
The European Orange Lily (Lilium bulbiferum)
My reasoning for this starts with the fact that the "lily" itself has a lot of different meanings, but the important aspect of the lily is that its considered the spring flower and represents often meanings of renewal and rebirth. The very messaging for our sweet boy, a life restarted after he meets his mentor. An orange lily specifically has meanings dipped into warmth, joy, passion (In regards to his devotion to those he loves), 'welcoming' to new opportunities in your life (lol), and most importantly - confidence and pride. Something that he grows to be over the course of his renewal, pride in his friends. Confidence in his strength to protect them. KHR is a story about a nobody becoming somebody strong enough to protect them, even and especially when they falter themselves. It should also be noted that in Hanakotoba (Japanese flower language), orange lilies represent 'revenge and hatred'. Which I think is a factor of Tsuna we can't ignore, as sweet as he is, TYL Tsuna's actions become darker the more you think about them. Tsuna can and has killed when a villain has overstepped too far, and never forget that he just wanted to know "who" Yamamoto's attacker was. For no reason, just to look at him, maybe shake his hand lol. Fr though, that boy's made of fire, both to keep his loved ones warm and to burn their enemies. I think the orange lily fits him nicely.
Also yes, I'll do my best to color-code these flowers~
Gokudera Hayato:
A Red Fressia
So, its quite hard actually to find any sort of 'red' flowers that aren't about some sort of romantic-esque devotion. Just being a red flower inherently puts you in that category of 'passion, love, marriage' meanings when it comes to flowers. It's a real struggle, but luckily he's our only red character amongst the Vongola kids. Okay, so the Freesia is represented by the concept of friendship and ultimate trust. I think it was easier for me to find a flower that represents devotion or duty and tack it on to Gokudera, but I think that's just looking at him on the surface. The story behind the freesia is that the botanist who found them in South Africa decided to name it after his friend as a symbol of their friendship. Very lovely :)<3 For all of Gokudera's dutiful affection for Tsuna, a lot of it is based on the fact that Tsuna was his first friend and the person who he trusted first. His eventual character growth and bonding with the other guardians came as he allowed himself to trust them, when he realized that his 'duty' that he believed to be absolute was above his bonds. Rather, it's his bonds that strengthen his resolve to be the perfect right hand man. Due to the intense representation of friendship and trust, freesias are given to a loved one to represent commitment to them, not unlike Gokudera's commitment to Tsuna and therefore the Vongola family unit. It should also be noted that in Hanakotoba, freesias also have a negative meaning which is childishness and immaturity which I do feel is something that Gokudera has to work through in order to become the best version of himself and has done quite well at by the end of the series. He's our little friendship blossom :)<3 Yamamoto Takeshi: Himalayan Blue Poppy
Let me start this by complaining that 'blue' flowers are so fucking rare, it took me forever to find something matched and was also color-coded with Yamamoto, that didn't dip into too indigo, because of the rarity of a nicely blue flower. To start, blue as a color has all those lovely Yamamoto vibes of being calming, easy on the mind, tranquility, all that beautiful stuff we know Yamamoto to be. (It's almost like Amano color-coded her characters guys..) Poppies themselves got a bit of cultural significance in the West, being the flowers given to WW1 soldiers after they'd passed as a way of remembrance. They're also known for growing in desolate war-torn areas, just a patch of poppies as well as having many soldiers buried with a poppy with them in honor. With that the poppy itself has themes of death, honor, lessons, tradition and remembrance. With Yamamoto’s connection to the Poppy flower, Yamamoto himself is..pretty death-coded. HEAR ME OUT. HEAR !! ME OUT!!!! Varia arc, Squalo ‘dies’ against Yamamoto. Future arc, Tsuyoshi is killed for Yamamoto being involved with the Vongola, Shimon with Yamamoto himself getting nearly killed and then that big moment where he offers to kill Daemon in retaliation for what was done to Kaoru. While not canon as well, the primo fillers are about Yamamoto dealing with the fact he DIDNT kill daisy and how he felt he had to be less easy-natured and actually go for the kills from now on. And of course, his attempt during daily life when he could not do what he loved anymore. He’s VERY death-coded y’all. But the poppy itself isn’t just some omen of death, but the lessons one can gather from those who have passed. Yamamoto’s own battle style is about taking the lessons of those before him who carried Shigure Soen Ryu and then growing upon that to carve a new and improved future for himself and those he cares about. He adapts to their lessons, what Squalo and Tsuyoshi have to teach him. On the fly, continuing the Shigure legacy and creating more moves to eventually pass on to the one that succeeds him. In general, he carries any lessons he has up until the end of the series and tries to never make the same mistake again. Whether that’s his lessons against the Mists he’s battled, his loss against Squalo for not having a proper sword style, and though he doesn’t get a chance against Gamma again, he’s always understood the importance of teamwork. That being said, he’s not just a poppy. He’s a Himalayan Blue Poppy. You see the himalayan blue poppy has a different meaning outside that of the ones that the other poppies do. With its rarity, it also represents success, potential, pursuit of dreams, and possibility. Yamamoto is the Vongola family’s prodigy, a natural born hitman, the star baseball player on his team. Stuck at a crossroads between his dream and being able to be in a position to protect the ones he loves. An impossibly difficult choice to make, yet Yamamoto handles it with ease. He just won’t choose! He’ll do both! Which fights very nicely with the Hanakatoba meaning of the poppy. “Fun-loving” “A reminder to remember happiness.” Along with general blue color meanings of tranquility, that is Yamamoto to his core, I believe. When things get their worst, he is there to remind everyone that it is never as bad as it feels. To wash away the blood spilled, that is the role of the Vongola Rain Guardian. His crossroad isn’t an issue to him, because that’s not what he fights for! He fights to make things easier for everyone, so they may remember happiness. That sort of thing doesn’t exactly need him to make a choice on his path. Now, does it? If he’s forced to choose, he will just carve out new possibilities for himself and the ones that he loves with the lessons he’s learnt.
Lambo Bovino: Green Envy Zinnia
Contrary to the title, the green envy zinnia has nothing to do with envy. Quite the opposite, actually. The zinnia itself represents endurance (HEAR. ME. OUT LOL), lasting affection, joy, and various other things. So, the zinnia is super fucking tough, again hear me OUTTTT. They bloom all the way from springtime to autumn, something pretty unheard of from flowers which gave them their meaning. A green envy Zinnia specifically represents growth or a journey. Wishes of a healthy and successful growth. And I believe that is the hope for Lambo, as he progresses through the series. He is quite literally a child, both himself and TYL. But that’s just the thing for him, to the one that chose the guardians (Iemitsu, it’s very implied that it was Iemitsu), Lambo is an INVESTMENT. And a correct one if twenty years old Lambo was anything to go by. Not only that, the zinnia represents a joyous endurance. This doesn’t have to be painful for him, and it’s not as he’s allowed to both be a kid in Tsuna’s care while also holding on tight when told to stay out of the fight. (“You have to take the younger me wherever you go, he wants to go with you.”). And as a bit of an angsty little hehe on my part, the zinnia also represents missing those who have passed, that you remember someone and love them even now that they’re not with you. (“Seeing you all again, I thought the day would never happen. It’s making me emotional.”) Honestly, judging by how Lambo fights when he gets the opportunity to properly do it, he just isn’t weak. Destroying Kikyo’s box animal, fighting against Ooyama, and of course against Levi too. In Hanakotoba, the Zinnia represents loyalty. He is their youngest blossom, enjoying being around the one he considers a brother with hidden potentials to grow into someone with the ability to be Vongola’s shield. If the ones he loves ever make it to see that sight, of course.
Ryohei Sasagawa: Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
Okay, so the yarrow is first of all a funky flower. If you’ve never seen OTHER colors of the yarrow flower, I implore you to google it. Especially the red ones? Why are you so pretty? Lucky enough for this flower (and me I’m starting to lose my mind here, this was a much bigger task than I thought it would be) the different colors don’t change the meaning of the flower here which is neat. It also unfortunately has no hanakotoba meaning either. So, anyway. The yarrow. It represents a warrior’s bravery, protection, and healing. The healing comes from the fact that its a commonly used herb for bruises, cuts, and sprains. There’s also huge folklore around it which affects its scientific name, as Achilles used yarrow to take care of the men he was in charge of. This flower was also used as a ward against evil, where people would hang this outside of their homes in order to protect them from evil getting inside. A superstition developed around this leading to Yarrow to be named the devil’s nettle to refer to the belief that the devil would come around and shake the yarrow that people hung up due to wanting to curse them. This flower also represents strong everlasting love, to the point where a little tradition propped up where people would shove this flower up their nostrils whenever they had a nosebleed so if they dreamt about their crush it meant that they liked them back lol. Yall there was so much rich lore on this flower, it’s super neat. More than I could fit in here. Anyway, I’m sure yall see the connection with Ryohei acting as the group older brother, being the motivating factor for them. He was the first to go up during Varia arc and set the tone for the rest of the battles, that the Vongola would win. Last to show up during future, representing that all of them had finally been reunited. A draw against Aoba, again the very first battle, almost symbolizing HOW shimon would end. He’s the strength in their arms, acting as the last person to leave in future arc until they were ready to go. Taught them and helped lead them to make decisions during that arc. It’s almost his duty to protect the younger ones, even getting up on Hibari’s case in the fillers for not helping out his younger classmen. We can’t even dismiss the way he would prefer to shield Kyoko from everything that they go through, and getting aggressive with Tsuna when Tsuna broke something he thought both of them saw eye to eye on. Not much rattles him, honestly if you pay attention to his scenes, only getting the most nervous and agitated TRULY when he fears he won’t be able to protect someone (Asking Tsuna how Kyoko reacted to the news, Tozaru getting on his case about Lambo coming to the battle) Otherwise, he’s his happy loud confident self ready to tackle on anything for the sake of the family. Destroying the misfortune that attacks the family with their own body, the yarrow represents that duty well. For every bruise the younger one gets, Ryohei has the ability to heal it. For every fear, Ryohei tackles it first. Acting as a ward and protector for his family. Hibari Kyoya
Clematis (Etoile Violette)
Clematis is a climbing flower, to start with. One of those flowers that grow along walls and vines. It’s a very adaptable flower, able to work with various environments and thrive amongst them. They’re known as the traveler’s joy, meant to wish travelers good luck and act as protection to those who pass by them. While also having a more negative reputation, having “killed” other plants by outcompeting them considered having done the devil’s work. (The plant is actually considered invasive aha oops) The clematis though, itself represents mental fortitude, cleverness, and the ability to find hope in perilous situations. Hibari himself, I mean just that back and forth reputation is just him, no? Acting as Namimori’s protector, keeping a watchful eye on the town while also being utterly terrifying for Namimori students and almost overwhelming to those competing with him. (Dino will only find escape from Hibari in death, Mukuro is the same) But, he is also undoubtedly Vongola’s wall. Similar to Ryohei, not once throughout the series really and truly faltering. The clematis itself with its representation in mental fortitude can be given to someone when they need mental strength. I think the best way to represent this is directing you to that moment in Shimon arc when Tsuna, while not physical beaten, had been mentally tormented by everything that had happened and Hibari came to his battle to Adel. A simple, but strong “Little animal, your face right now is dull. Watch my fight.” It’s in that fight Tsuna gets his mental strength back, being given a hint to answer the question he’s been stressing and faltering over. Then there’s future arc, having been the only one TYL Tsuna trusted with the plan. Kokuyo Arc, Gokudera seeing an already defeated Hibari and taking him to the battle. Varia arc, the gang realizing that if Hibari is fighting next then they may have already won it and refusing to succumb to the poison in the sky battle. Rainbow arc, Tsuna considering them in that list of people he “just expects to help him.” He has the ability to be their hope, to be another factor of their strength. Where Ryohei is holding them up on the physical aspect, Hibari is absolutely their mental strength. (Isn’t it charming that the two eldest are the pillars of their group? I think it is). Also, in Hanakotoba, the clematis represents moral beauty and order. And that’s just the kinda man who could run something like the discipline committee, isn’t? The special thing, finally is that the etoile violette represents a sense of freedom from troubles. A free man, unchained himself and choosing to help those younger than him. Sometimes for the thrill of a battle, sometimes to actually help them with the reputation of a devil. Unpredictable, but still trusted. It’s the sky that allows the clouds to roam freely, but even someday that sky will be beaten to death.
Chrome Dokuro
Lupine (Blue Bonnet)
The Lupine flower is before anything else, a second chance at life. A recovery from one’s trauma and the admiration that comes from that. Its gratitude and kindness put into one. There’s a legend around the lupine flower about a land full of drought where Native Americans had believed would be saved by selflessness and yet no one had come forward to do anything, until a young girl came forward and offered the last of her possessions. The rain came to fall at her sacrifice, and hundreds of lupines had blossomed from the ground saving the tribe from drought and hunger as the seeds of the Lupine could be harvested to be eaten. The Lupine represents that the world will always give back if you are willing to help. Chrome, from her introduction, is told to be a girl who has nothing. With two parents who want nothing to do with her and no friends by her side. She runs forward to save a kitten and is gravely injured. With neither of her parents willing to help her, Chrome wonders if she is going to die here but is offered a deal by Mukuro. It’s here that Chrome is offered her second chance and she spends the whole series trying to return the favor to Mukuro. All while healing from her own trauma, the type of trauma that “no one could care about her”, as she is offered food and bonds from Tsuna, Kyoko, Haru, I-pin, Bianchi, Hibari, and so many others. It's in her second chance that she gets to experience what life truly had to offer her, as thank you for her continued selflessness. It’s that gratitude that she represents and the never-ending desire to give when she doesn’t accept Mukuro’s assistance anymore with her organs because she can no longer give him anything now that he’s out of Vindice Prison. She resolves that she will become someone who can protect the people she and Mukuro like. Her confidence isn’t perfect and she falters quite a bit, not believing that her powers are as great as those around her. But, that’s okay, because her goodness has brought her to people who have got her back until she can figure herself out. She has Mammon to correct her when her illusions are seen through that they are well made, but she’s just dealing with professionals and that’s why they’re seen through. There’s Tsuna who relies on her blindly, never doubting her strength to protect them as he asks her to act as defense during Shimon arc and protect Enma from his attack. Alongside with Fran, she is trusted to protect Yamamoto and Gokudera in the final battle against Vindice and taken with Tsuna against Jaegar. She has a lot of space to continue growing, but Lupin also represents voracity and happiness in Hanakotoba. She has her second chance to learn all about that, or as Mukuro put it to her, “An ending is merely the beginning of another cycle.”
Rokudo Mukuro
Aconitum (Wolfsbane)
Wolfsbane is also referred to as Monkshood. This is another one with pretty rich lore with its connection to werewolves. It’s referred to as “queens of the poisons” and has a pretty negative message to it on the outside. First of all, this thing’s poison? TOUGH AS HELL. Delirium, frothing at the mouth, vision impairment, and of course the classic coma<3 It’s got an uncanny resemblance to what rabies actually looks like. Fun, right? Okay, fr though onto its meaning. Wolfsbane is an omen that danger is nearby, not unlike the unnerving feeling Tsuna gets whenever he senses Mukuro nearby. Said to have come from Hell itself, the saliva that has dripped down from Cerberus himself. Not unlike our sweet boy. But, being an omen does not always represent something bad. Is he bringing the danger to you, or is he warning you of the true danger that lies past him? It’s a little bit of both. Aconitum represents concealed wisdom and caution in decision-making. But it also DOES represent protection, a proper and true warning of the dangers of the wild. That beauty does not always mean safe. For his twisted sense of vengeance and believing that taking over the world is the only way to destroy it for the sake of what was done to him, he isn’t necessarily wrong for being enraged about what happened to him. Yet, despite his hate, he doesn’t drag those who he cares about further down into it than he has to. He sends Ken and Chikusa away when they are going to get caught, he never uses Chrome for anything besides as a vessel to help her, and he says during Rainbow arc that if he forced Fran to continue past his limits he’d be no better than those nasty adults of his past. Aconitum balances sweetly between light and darkness, similar to Mukuro. He won’t admit it, but he cares for those amongst the Vongola. He infiltrates the Millefiore and sends the Vongola information after Tsuna’s death, he helps Chrome form a barrier around Enma so he could be safe from Tsuna’s X-Burner. And, of course he teams up with Vongola’s team during the rainbow arc. These are undoubtedly kind actions, but when Tsuna gets angry at Mukuro during Rainbow claiming that he didn’t believe that Mukuro was the type to abandon his allies, Mukuro says that that was just his idea of him. Even though it was Chrome ultimately rejecting him, he instead pretended that he really was some big bad heartless person. Definitely, Mukuro is no angel, but also he’s no demon either. He’s.. just a human at the end. The aconitum’s dance with both light and dark, a flower that tries to warn, can be read both good and bad depending on how you look at it. His rejection of his ‘official’ position as part of the Mafia, yet acting as the Vongola Mist Guardian when their goals align. He’s as confusing as the duty he embodies, but he succeeds nonetheless in ensuring the family is untouchable in his deceptions. After all, the best way to fool your enemies is to fool your allies first.
#LET ME JUST SAY#When i first got this idea#I wanted to do all the vongola kid honorable mentions#Kyoko haru and the like#But I quickly realized that would have been insane#so for now heres the Vongola guardians!#It should be noted I can't represent these complex characters 100% accurately with just one flower#I'd need to make bouquets for them to do that#But I did my best!#So here's some character analysis#using flower language!#Or... is this my facade?#Using character analysis to infodump to you guys about flowers...it was a perfect excuse#I hope you guys enjoyed and I am so fucking sorry for long it is again god#I hope you guys enjoy this#lemme know your thoughts#if you agree or disagree#eakngjeh okay as for the real tags#katekyo hitman reborn#khr#sawada tsunayoshi#vongola#gokudera hayato#yamamoto takeshi#lambo bovino#chrome dokuro#hibari kyoya#rokudo mukuro#Ryohei sasagawa

Kill Them with Kindness
Summary: The most important skill Tsuna learned from Reborn did not come from any of the supplemental lessons Reborn had taught him but something he mimicked by observing his mentor. It was called malicious compliance.
Preview:
If Tsuna didn’t become Vongola Decimo, would anyone acknowledge Hayato’s genius? What would have happened to Lambo whose Family sent him on a suicide mission when he was just a toddler, simply because his body was sturdier than adults? He imagined Fuuta would still pledge his loyalty to Vongola in exchange for protection, but that protection would come with exploitation considering his ability. Lancia would never be able to prove his innocence and Mukuro… he would forever be trapped in Vindicare, while Chrome would never exist in the first place. There would be no justice for Cozart, as his friendship with Giotto would remain buried by Spade’s scheme. If he were to run away now, the people who would pay the price would not be just Tsuna.

Ok, I felt a little bit called into the cause earlier on when I as lurking and reading @khr-guilded-cage posts.
And now I am wearing my clown wig and honk my kazoo and I am outlining the Canon Divergent AU where Dino, in spite of all, decides that he wants to support Xanxus during the Cradle Affair, screw everything.
Buckle up!
So.
Squalo has already killed Tyr, gained the title of Swords Emperor and as a bonus he is enrolled into the Varia.
This means that Dino and Squalo already argued bitterly, they are both mourning the loss of their situationship and they are just doing their thing.
Then ofc Xanxus explodes - we know why, I am not repeating this part.
Dino is on the fence.
His family is technically allied to the Vongola and by reason he should be supporting the Vongola against the Varia.
And yet.
Dino has never really gotten over his dad's death and he is kindof resenting Reborn for forcing him into a world he was desperately trying to run away from.
Dino knows perfectly that now if he doesn't support the Vongola, the Cavallone family is doomed.
And yet.
He knows Xanxus' situation well enough to think that it has never been a fair thing, he thinks that the only friend he has ever had is right there in the middle of everything.
Dino looks at Romario and Romario only says "we will follow our boss to hell and back".
And Dino decides that he is tired of the abuse, he is tired of being manhandled by Reborn, he is tired of being forced into situations and he is tired of not having any choice ever.
He shows up in the midst of the battle, the Vongola are already singing their victory, whilst the Varia look at him as if they want to kill him.
And Dino marches with his 5000 men into battle, right next to Xanxus and against the Vongola.
Now, I have two possible outcomes, you choose whichever you like best.
THE VARIA WIN
Well, the battle ends hen Xanxus kills Timoteo and incapacitates forever Iemitsu, whilst Reborn is nowhere to be found, being chased by some hellions. Dino literally left behind the chocolate and the sweetness he had to be able to just be the Bucking Bronco.
For him it is only half a victory, Reborn did manage to make him a ruthless mafia leader. He does have the Varia's gratitude and that means that now the Vongola are now under Xanxus.
Dino's debts are immediately erased, he gains enough influence and power, power that he immediately uses to elect a new Cavallone Decimo. Dino retires and only the Varia and Romario know where he lives and what he does
He has finally some choice, he decides to live as normally and as anonymously as possible, even though the blood on his hands definitely leaves his ugly mark.
At least he has rekindled his situationship with Squalo and Xanxus is civil with him.
This may mean no Tsuna in the picture.
THE VARIA LOSE
Well, the battle was fought valiantly on both sides, but the Vongola outnumbered the Varia and Cavallone.
Xanxus is put in the freezer, things go as per canon, but with a difference.
18 yrs old Squalo takes the command of the Varia ad interim and with the help of Marmon disguises all of the Cavallone survivors as Varia soldiers - he will have a lot of work between reforging documents, trying to make everything look good enough so that both Timoteo and Iemitsu think that everything is back under their control
Dino is also in the freezer - there is no fucking way they are letting go another Sky. Cue Squalo swearing another oath to free Dino as well, other than Xanxus.
Romario is in the Varia too, albeit disguised.
For the time being the Varia are behaving like role model citizens, but the plans are in the works.
And ofc Tsuna is in the picture.
Plans are being actioned - Tsuna has to see the Vongola's ruthlessness with his own eyes and once again Romario ill be a key.
Thoughts? Comments? Prayers?

Everyone knows the young lion of Vongola is married. He never shuts up about his adorable, doting wife. But only other CEDEF members got to experience that brief five year period where he was equally as gung-ho about their child.
Eventually, Iemitsu stops mentioning his precious, cute little Tsuna, though. He stops gushing about rosy apple cheeks and stumbling firsts filled with adoration. Instead, he becomes withdrawn. Strung out. Oregano, being his second in command and the one most attuned to him, idiocy and all, asks him about it. He smiles at her, but it’s strained. It doesn’t meet his eyes. It’s not like him, forever loud, forever moving forward, a sledgehammer in human form that busts down any wall in their way. As irritating as he can be… His position, and the respect it commands, her respect, have all been earned.
It takes Iemitsu a bit to collect himself. His jaw strains, then relaxes. His grin, normally a beacon of confidence, becomes bitter as he tells her why. “He woke up.”
“Oh, boss—“
A common misconception is that an early flame is a good thing.
Really though. No one wants that. No one wants their child to be locked into their world so early. To be a danger to themselves and others so soon.
“Is he-?”
“He’s fine. Nono came out to help, but… Sky Flame.” He shakes his head as if he can’t believe it. As if he weren’t a similarly young prodigy, one who wound up in the Vongola sponsored orphanage for non-mafioso children who were fated to join, the same place they would later snatch Basil up from. “What are the odds, y’know? It’s not like it’s totally genetic.” True, it was common for Sky to come from Sky, but it wasn’t… It wasn’t a guarantee. Nobody really understood the science of it. There were just too few of them existing in the world at any time. “I’m… I’m just glad he didn’t hurt his mother…”
It’s possible. Probable even, with Primo’s blood flowing directly in the boy’s veins, that one day… Little Tsuna will inherit the title of Decimo. It’s possible that one day, Iemitsu will stand in opposition of his own child.
She doesn’t know the full details of Xanxus’s frozen prison, but… She can guess why he’s there instead of in the ground.
Iemitsu is a family man, and vongola is his family.
For its sake…
“When he’s old enough. I’ll tell him everything I can.”
Out of courtesy, she keeps silent for a man grieving the loss of a future that will now never happen.
This is what it means to be the Boss.

Halloween Fanfic
Happy Halloween! Here’s a list of my Halloween-themed fics on Ao3, if you want to check them out between booping and candy snacking.
My White Knight (Star vs the Forces of Evil)
It's Star's first Halloween, and thanks to Marco she knows that humans only dress as monsters on Earth's spookiest day of the year. But sometimes there are humans who look average, but are monstrous on the inside. Thankfully she has her White Knight to save her from all kinds of monsters, human or otherwise.
Scare Tactics (Gravity Falls)
Ford and Stan take every opportunity to scare the twins in the week leading up to Summerween. Dipper and Mabel, the Kings of Halloween, will not be defeated. They concoct a plan to truly frighten their great-uncles, with some outside help. It's all in the spirit of Summerween.
Three Spiderlings in a Haunted House (Into the Spider-verse)
The only way to spend October 30th is to go to a haunted house, but Miles, Gwen and Peni really should have told the Spiders where they were going. It's a night of frights for everybody, and a near heart attack for some.
Among the Corn(maze) (Phineas and Ferb)
It's October thirtieth, and Phineas and the gang are spending the night before Halloween at a corn maze. It's only a matter of time before they get split up, and Buford can't resist the opportunity to pull a small prank. Tis the spooky season, after all.
Spookin’ Lancer (Danny Phantom)
A little Halloween tale where Danny, Tucker and Sam try to scare Lancer the day before Halloween. But Lancer isn't easily frightened by juvenile pranks, and in their efforts to scare him out of his wits, lines are crossed.
All Hallows Eve (Sofia the First)
Unable to disregard the village tradition of trick or treating on All Hallow's Eve, Sofia chooses to miss the royal costume ball in favour of her childhood traditions. With no one in her family able to take her Sofia happily drags Cedric along for a night of Hallow's Eve fun.
Runt of the Pack — Chapter 10 (X-Men Evolution)
Jamie’s trick or treating takes a bit of a sour turn when some delinquents set a nearby property on fire. Logan did tell him to stay in the car, but what kind of X-Man is he if he doesn’t help?
Devil’s Night (Lilo and Stitch)
Lilo's preparations for a wicked Halloween are interrupted by a run-in with Mertle and her girls. Deeming themselves too old for trick-or-treating, the group of thirteen-year-olds arm themselves with eggs, shaving cream and toilet paper. Mertle issues a challenge to Lilo--join them for Devil's Night, unless she's scared.
Forever Family, Forever Vongola — Chapter 24, Chapter 42, Chapter 43, Chapter 55 (Katekyo Hitman Reborn)
Halloween plus the Vongola family equals chaos.

Title: I wish I may, I wish I might (have this wish I wish tonight)
Author: Raven_Silversea
Rating: G
Pairing: Fuuta de la Stella & Welt Yang
Prompt: Space AU/Found Family
Tags/Warnings: Light Angst, Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Found Family, Touch-Starved, Fuuta joins the Astral Express
Summary: His rankings tell him he's safe here, and Fuuta knows his rankings are true. But that doesn't mean he was prepared to be accepted as one of the crew so easily
Ao3
The Astral Express is much bigger than Fuuta imagined when he first asked the Ranking Planet where he would be safest. The parlor car alone would fit almost an entire Famiglia, maybe not one of Vongola’s size but a smaller one like the Todds for sure, with long red leather couches, globulous chandeliers, and floor to ceiling windows looking out into the stars. A phonograph in the corner plays a record that fills the car with the sound of electronic-sounding strings and piano chords.
Fuuta inches closer to the phonograph. It doesn’t look like anything he’s ever seen before with it’s tall base and floating bowl, but it’s definitely got a record and it’s definitely playing music. The black disc spins around and around beneath a needle of made of light.
“I see you’ve found the phonograph,” a voice says from above and behind Fuuta.
Turning, Fuuta clutches his Ranking Book tightly to his chest. He knows his rankings are true and he knows everyone on the Astral Express ranks extremely low for using his rankings to further their own ambitions, but he also doesn’t really know that. The man standing behind him has a kind smile and kinder eyes behind rectangular-rimmed glasses. Brown hair almost flops in his face, the front strands already gray. There’s an itch to set his book down and rank the man in front of him: his combat ability, his favorite foods, anything he can think of.
“You must be our newest passenger- Himeko mentioned she brought someone aboard,” the man continues like Fuuta’s silence and intense scrutiny is nothing out of the ordinary. “My name’s Welt Yang,” he holds out a hand, and Fuuta takes it, carefully shaking it.
Welt’s hand is warm and calloused and so much bigger than Fuuta’s, and something about this simple handshake makes Fuuta want to cry and fling himself into this stranger’s arms with the intent to stay there forever.
Instead, he introduces himself as Fuuta de la Stella, watching the man carefully for any hint of recognition just like he always does because that brief spark of realization in someone’s eye is often the only warning he’ll ever get. There’s no spark in Welt’s eye, no tightening of his grip, no shift in his weight like he’s going to pull Fuuta to him and never let him go. In fact, he even releases Fuuta’s hand and folds his own hands behind his back. “What do think of the record? I found it in a used bookshop a couple planets back, and it’s become one of my favorites.”
Fuuta tilts his head, looks back at the phonograph and the spinning record. A frown tugs at his lips as he considers the music. “It’s… nice,” he settles on. “I like the sound of it, but it does get a bit repetitive.”
Welt laughs. “I suppose that’s fair. We’ll have to keep an eye out for something more to your taste then.” He says it so easily, so matter-of-factly, like Fuuta’s going to be with traveling with them for the foreseeable future and they should accommodate for that.
Like Fuuta already belongs.
This time tears do streak down his cheeks, and he frantically wipes them away with his jacket sleeve as he quietly hiccups. Welt immediately kneels down and reaches out, stopping just before touching Fuuta as if waiting for Fuuta to accept the offered comfort.
It just makes the tears come even stronger.
It feels like ages pass before Fuuta is able to stem the tide, and the entire time, Welt just waits. His hand still held out in a silent offering and his eyes never leaving Fuuta’s face, even though his knee must be aching with how it’s digging into the red carpet below and his arm must be getting tired with how long he’s held it out. Sniffling and still clutching his damp sleeve, he asks, “Do you really mean that, Mr. Yang?”
Welt nods. “You’re a member of the Express Crew from now until you choose to leave us. Of course, we’ll find some records you’ll really like.”
“You… you really mean that.” The urge to do a ranking just to be sure is strong, but Fuuta has already ranked the Astral Express crew and Welt Yang ranks high on People Who Mean What They Say.
“I do.”
The Ranking Book falls to the floor as Fuuta flings himself into Welt’s chest. Strong arms wrap around him in a firm hug, and the steady rhythm of Welt’s heart fills his ears. It feels like a bubble bursts in Fuuta’s chest as he clings to Welt. The electronic music of the record continues it’s loop.
Fuuta was right: He wants to stay cradled in Welt’s arms forever.

Are the vongola guardians protective of Y/N? How? Do they get a bit posessive from time to time? And what is their reaction when they find out y/n actually likes it when their partner is a bit clingy and posessive (i mwan eho doesnt like to be wanted?)
Okay, this was a great request but super challenging for me to write, so the headcanons aren’t exactly the best and, again, it took forever to get back to you. I hope you’ll enjoy it anyway and thank you, as always, for the request!
TSUNA
I do see Tsuna being protective of his partner. He knows that his association with the Vongola does mean that his partner can be put into some dangerous spots. His lived experiences show him that, with how his friends and loved ones really were put in danger and hurt during the Ring Battles and the Ten Year Later arc especially, just by being associated with him. Because of this, he really does worry a lot about his partner’s safety, but mostly it gets really bad when there is a threat to his family or loved ones because of someone opposing the Vongola or trying to take over, etc. Those are the times it gets really bad and the times when he’ll be most likely to get into fights with his partner, since his form of protectiveness is really to push them away in some ways. He spends less time with them, urges them to stay safe and away from any situations he’s involved in…to really ‘stay in the kitchen’ type of way. Don’t try to stand beside him, just stay put like a good person and let him handle everything and he gets really frustrated if they won’t do that, but it’s anger and frustration borne out of great fear for their safety and what would happen if they got hurt or, even worse, if he lost them.
However, I do not see Tsuna being possessive in any way, shape, or form. He just doesn’t have a possessive bone in his body. He feels lucky to have his partner and there are still times, no matter how long he’s been with them, where he kind of wants to pinch himself because he can’t believe that someone so wonderful wants to be with him, no-good Tsuna. To have that sort of confidence of being possessive, of claiming his partner as only his and his alone…it’s not Tsuna, it’s not who he is. That’s not to say that he won’t experience jealousy at all but there’s a HUGE difference between feeling jealous every now and then and a partner being possessive.
Honestly, Tsuna would be really confused if his partner wanted him to be clingy and possessive. Are they not happy with him as he is? What’s he doing wrong? Is it that they think he doesn’t care about them? Are they going to leave him??! It will really just stress the poor guy out, because he’s not really sure of what they want or what he’s doing wrong.
GOKUDERA
Much like Tsuna, I do see Gokudera as being really protective of his partner, because he’s protective of anyone he cares about because he knows, with losing his mother and with knowing he lost Tsuna in the Ten Year Later arc, the pain that comes with losing someone you love. So, he does get fiercely protective of those he trusts and lets into his life fully, ready to defend them to the death if need be, though he does get better and better throughout the years as to not attacking rashly or putting himself into dangerous positions to defend them. Much like Tsuna as well, I do see Gokudera’s brand of protectiveness as being one that banishes his partner to the sidelines, far away from him during a bad situation, safe and sound where he knows they won’t be in nearly as much danger. He’s not fond of having his partner on the battlefield with him, just because his worry for them will cloud his mind, will make him anxious and will make it that much more likely that he’ll slip up and not be able to protect them. Hell, if it wasn’t for the fact that Tsuna is Gokudera’s boss and he can’t really do it, there are time Gokudera would even rather wrap Tsuna in bubble wrap and stick him someplace safe when there’s danger brewing, leaving it to Gokudera to take care of the dangerous situation, just for his own peace of mind.
Now, I do see Gokudera as being really prone to jealousy and I can see him, in his younger years, really being very possessive of his partner. He’ll get jealous and upset at his partner paying attention to any other male, except for Tsuna, Lambo, Fuuta, or Ryohei, and he’ll get possessive, clingy, and will tend to start picking fights with the other male that his partner is talking to. He gets jealous if they spend a lot of time with their friends or family instead of wanting to spend that time with him because, in his mind, it does mean they’re really not that serious about him and that, if they truly loved him, they’d want to dedicate every spare moment they had to being with him, like he feels towards them. He’ll get pissy about it all and give his partner the silent treatment, hoping that they’ll feel guilty and then dedicate their attention to him to ‘make up for it’. But the thing is that that will ruin any relationship quickly and it’s really, really not healthy, something that he will learn as he ages and that he does work on, though he will always have a jealous streak borne out of some self-esteem issues he’ll never fully work on.
Now, if his partner really does want him to be jealous, clingy, and possessive, and actually encourages all that bad behaviour he’ll exhibit?? It leads to a toxic, unhealthy, codependent relationship that will honestly fuck both of them up and will be unsustainable in the long run.
YAMAMOTO
I see Yamamoto as being somewhat protective, but just in a very simple, common-sense way. Like, if his partner is in danger, he’ll protect them. They’re about to cross a road and don’t see a car speeding towards them? He’ll pull them back super quick. Someone wants to beat them up? Yamamoto will step in and try to defuse the situation with jokes and talking things through. Someone’s plain out and out attacking them, probably because they are with Yamamoto, the Rain Guardian for the Vongola? Of course, he’s pushing them behind him, telling them to stay back, and fighting whoever’s attacking them. But other than that, he’s not really all that protective because he really does trust his partner to be smart and stay out of danger.
Yamamoto isn’t at all possessive and he’s really not that prone to jealousy either. Again, it really boils down to the fact that he does trust his partner. He wouldn’t be with them if he didn’t. He trusts them to be loyal to him, even if they’re not right beside him, even if they’re out doing their own thing. And honestly, if his partner does end up wanting to be with someone else instead of him, Yamamoto isn’t the type who would want to make someone stay with him if they didn’t want to be.
Honestly, his partner wanting him to be possessive or clingy would just confuse Yamamoto because he doesn’t see the appeal or the need. He thinks their relationship, and the way they are together, and the trust they have in each other, is all working pretty well, and he honestly thought his partner felt the same way. He’s a little sad that he didn’t realize that his partner wasn’t entirely happy and while he’s definitely not going to start acting possessive of his partner, because he doesn’t want to be that kind of guy, he’s going to talk to his partner and see where that want for him to do so is coming from. Is he not spending enough time with them or giving them enough attention? Do they feel like he doesn’t really care about them and the relationship? Is this some weird kink of theirs and if it is, is it a kink that they can manage to do without, because otherwise, as much as he loves them, it might be better to end the relationship if it’s something they absolutely need, because it’s not something he can do or wants to do.
RYOHEI
Ryohei is very protective of any romantic partner he has and really, he’s not going to view any romantic partner he has as being equal to him in strength. Ryohei does have some very ‘toxic masculinity’ traits that way and he does believe that, as the man of the relationship, it’s his duty to protect and take care of his partner, who is supposed to sit back, live their life, and stay out of danger or let him take care of any danger. His brand of protectiveness can honestly come off as a little bit patronizing at times if I’m being completely honest.
I do see Ryohei being possessive. Again, it’s very much the toxic masculinity parts of his personality shining through, in that he believes that once he is dating his partner, they are ‘his’ and his alone and that other people should just instinctively know that. It doesn’t help that he’s so bad at flirting and recognizing flirting himself that he really does assume that any really kind gesture from any male to his partner is them trying to flirt with his partner, so he gets all heated up and starts yelling at the other person or plain out starting fist-fights, and it’s not really something that improves a crap ton as he ages, but more a part of who he is and who he’ll always be. To be fair though, he also considers himself to be his partner’s fully once they start dating, and would take any jealousy they feel very seriously and work hard to make sure he took care of any situations where his partner make have reason to feel jealous…mostly by loudly declaring that he has a partner whenever he thinks someone might be flirting with him.
Honestly, his partner is never going to have to ask him to be clingy or possessive, because again, it’s just something he really naturally is. As long as neither of them takes it to unhealthy levels, where they really make each other the only important thing, forsaking other friends or family ties, I don’t see Ryohei’s possessiveness having that really toxic element to it, though I also don’t think it’s really an incredibly healthy element to the relationship either.
LAMBO
Lambo honestly isn’t all that protective of his partner, especially if he knows they’re pretty strong. Even if he is stronger than them, when danger comes, he’s more than likely going to grab their hand and run away and, if worst comes to worst, he’ll urge them to run ahead of him while he stays back and either leads the enemy away or does have to fight. If his partner is strong…well, there is the chance that Lambo might leave the fight to his partner, because he likes having them protect him.
Lambo can get really childishly possessive; in that he gets very clingy with his partner and really does want their attention all the time. He wants to be the most important person to his partner, and he wants them to be with him all the time, and he can get a little temper tantrum-y, like a child might get, when they start paying attention to other people, or he’ll get really attention seeking and act a fool, just to get their eyes back on him. He’ll get really sulky if they pass up on date days or even just spontaneous hangouts to spend time with friends without him or to take self-care days. However, sulking is the most he does – he doesn’t give the silent treatment and he doesn’t hold grudges about it, but he also doesn’t handle it healthily, though that is something that he becomes better able to do as he ages, with it being something he masters in his late thirties to early forties.
Again, much like Gokudera’s, encouraging Lambo’s brand of possessiveness is going to lead to an unhealthy relationship for both Lambo and his partner, where they’ll make each other the only truly important people in each other’s lives and will become very codependent.
HIBARI
Hibari is protective, though it’s in his own very quiet little way. As I’ve mentioned countless times, but will always repeat, Hibari does fully expect his partner to be able to take care of themselves and to handle shit in their own lives. He doesn’t get into relationships with people who can’t take care of their own selves, because he does view people like that as weak and weakness repulses him. However, he does know that choosing to be in a relationship with him does bring new dangers that his partner might not be equipped to handle, because of Hibari’s reputation and standing in the Vongola bringing enemies who would hurt his partner to hurt Hibari. In these cases, it’s a good thing that Hibari does kind of keep an eye on his partner’s going on’s, even when Hibari himself isn’t around, through a very good network he has in Namimori and through the use of his birds. If danger does threaten his partner that he knows they cannot take care of, he will take care of it for them, either himself or through sending Kusakabe to help them.
I do see Hibari as someone who is possessive in a way. He does believe that, once he does settle into a relationship with someone, as odd as that relationship might be, that they are his and his alone and he will expect their utmost loyalty, both emotionally and physically to him. However, he will never expect them to make him the most important person in their lives and he will want them to have friends, family, and a whole life of their own outside of him. There just has to be that knowledge, both in his mind and in his partner’s mind, that his partner is Hibari’s. However, in a hypocritical turn, Hibari will never consider himself to be his partner’s. He’s always his own and nobody else’s.
Hibari’s reaction to his partner wanting him to be clingy and possessive over them? Simple. They can find another partner. Them wanting that or asking him for that just shows him that they’re not someone who is going to be compatible with Hibari in a relationship and he won’t waste their time or have them waste his any longer.
MUKURO
Mukuro is protective, but you really have to look very hard, and understand how he works, to see it. He’s not overtly protective. There’s no big grand ‘I’ll take care of you’s’ or stepping in to fight his partner’s fights. He’ll happily leave it up to his partner to sort out their own messes or issues, because he’s interested in seeing how they accomplish it, because he knows they can accomplish it. However, if his partner finds themselves needing his help, all they ever need to do is ask…or, if Mukuro does know that his partner cannot handle the situation they’re in, he will step in to help, though he’ll tease them about them owing him one now.
Hot take here, and a controversial one, I know, but I don’t see Mukuro as being possessive so much as just expecting complete loyalty from his partner. It’s not that he considers them his or wants them to be his and only his. I could honestly even see Mukuro as being okay with polyamory, as long as their first loyalty was to him. He wants his partner to almost worship him in some ways, but at the same time, he wants them to have a life, a network of friends and family, goals and ambitions, and things of their own to keep them busy when he doesn’t have time for them. He’s very contradictory in that way, but then Mukuro is a very contradictory person overall.
Honestly, Mukuro would be amused if his partner asked him to be more clingy and possessive over them. He’d find it a little cute and a little funny, and he’d love seeing how things turn out and how they react when he gives them exactly what they ask for…because clingy and possessive, when taken seriously, like Mukuro will, and to the levels of things that Mukuro is capable of?? It’s actually going to become terrifying and mentally damaging for his partner, though they only need to tell him to stop and they take back their request for him to do so.
CHROME
Chrome hasn’t had many people she wanted to protect or was able to protect, so now that she can both protect her precious people and has those precious people to protect, her partner among them, I do see as someone who is very quietly protective, ready to take on her partner’s problems as her own and work hard to solve them for her partner so that they can take it a bit easier.
That being said, Chrome is the least possessive person. She does consider herself very lucky to have her partner in her life and thanks whatever powers brought them into her life for them every day. However, if her partner left her, she would accept it and probably chalk it up to her not being good enough, rather than blaming her partner for it or feeling like her partner was ‘hers and only hers’.
Chrome really doesn’t get what her partner means when they request that she be clingier and more possessive, but she really doesn’t want them to think she’s dumb, so she won’t really ask them to clarify either. She’s likely to nod and quickly find an excuse to get out of the situation and just try to spend more time with them moving forward.

past and present
Title: past and present Author: Shiro (TeitoxAkashi [AO3]/ seijuurouxryuu [tumblr]) Rating: Gen Pairing: Giotto & Tsuna Event: @khrrarepairweek Prompts: Monster Hunter AU | Ghosts Tags/Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Day 1: Storm Day
The thunder was loud, booming and deafening in the background. It was calming, it was unnerving. Because it was on these days that Tsuna could see the shadows of the past, the shadows of the dead.
AO3
The thunder was loud, booming and deafening in the background. It was calming, it was unnerving. Because it was on these days that Tsuna could see the shadows of the past, the shadows of the dead.
“Giotto-san…” He frowned at his ancestor, blurry frame solidifying with the lightning’s shine. Akin to charged light bulb. Something something about how the positive and negative ions become disarray during a thunderstorm.
The dead was hovering by the window, staring out silently. At Tsuna’s call, he looked back and blinked. In a way that reminded Tsuna of a lizard. Again, unnerving.
“Yes, child?”
The almost thirty-four-year-old man twitched at the ‘endearment’. He decided to ignore it seeing how ancient Giotto was and instead asked, “Are you alright?”
Giotto blinked again.
“Why wouldn’t I be?”
“Well, you… You look,” Tsuna paused, thinking of a word to describe the ex-mafia boss. “Burnout.” Tired. Lost. Dead. Figuratively and literally.
Giotto smiled. “I am, aren’t I?” He murmured and look out of the window again. It was a foreign yet familiar sight to see—it was after all the town he vowed to protect forever, the town he grew up and bleed for. It was the island that chained his very soul to, to be forgotten by all but his descendants and the dark side they chose to join.
He was persistent, he was filled with fire and will to fight for them. He was young, then, like the only child who could see him and hear him. He was more willful too. But he was older soon and the fire slowly was doused with tears and blood, burning slower and quieter. His bones grew colder at the harsh reality he had faced and soon, he could no longer burn the will.
Ricardo—his brother who rage brighter than he burned with hope—took his continued dimming as the ending of legality and brought them into the world of darkness. He then reigned Vongola with growing glory, burning brighter and stronger than Giotto, bringing Vongola its peak.
And the part the fully douse Giotto’s flame was how Ricardo protected their home better than Giotto despite drowning the walls with more blood of their enemies.
Giotto decided to leave the limelight and take Alaude and Asari’s hands to move to the land of rising sun to warm his bones and blood once more.
Sawada Ieyasu was the name Asari gave—peaceful family. A representative—a reminder—of Giotto’s vows. A reassurance that Giotto had brought peace to his family—them.
And it was a name that he never really believed that it suited him despite what they said.
“How are you doing?” He asked instead, returning Tsuna the question. Tsuna shrugged as he walked closer, leaning against the wall as he weakly laughed at himself.
“As well as I can ever be.” He sighed. “I’m just tired of dealing with all the chaos that Xanxus and Reborn caused. I just want to sleep…”
Giotto smiled, understanding the feeling because he had his fair share of continuously trying to reign in Ricardo and Lampo from whatever fights or chaos they were up to. It wasn’t fun, but he wouldn’t have them any other way. Even if it almost always ended up with him bedridden in exhaustion. Even then, it was probably the most fun he had.
Now that he thought about it, he had the time of his life whenever he was with his family, be it good or bad. And even if he had gone back to that time, he wouldn’t want to change anything except for the incidents involving Cozarto and Elena.
Ahh, how he missed the carefree times he was with his family.
Looking at how Tsuna was, he was sure that the young boy felt the same. Only, he would burn brighter. More so than how Giotto once did. He would fight for his family, and more importantly, he would fight for himself. He would survive better than Giotto.
And Giotto want that to happen.
He smiled and leaned back; His frame more relaxed. “Could you tell me about them? Your family.”
Tsuna blinked and grinned. “Yes. In return, tell me about yours!”

Notes:
Honestly I churned this out in an hour or so time, and separately in another day for the ending. I had three drafts for the ending but none seemed to fit so,,, I could only do like this. The plunny for this died halfway and I can't remember what I planned so rip. But still!!! First day of RPW!! I'm late but yay!! :DD Just them bonding honestly. I think that Giotto would linger around Vongola mansion, hovering here and there to reminisce his past by himself. The rest of the primo gen are probably somewhere chillin but Giotto was haunted by his own past i think. Daemon too. Both of them are just. Suffering. I didn't write Daemon because I think whatever he does, he wants it private while Giotto? Giotto doesn't care who sees him. He just stuck in the abyss [vtuber joke] Anywaysssssss,,,, I'm late by so many days so im gonna go ahead and post the other days one first CIAO [I apologize for any grammar, spellings, etc. etc. mistakes]

About my previous writing of 'Toxic Birth Family wants you back':
Pretty common in the Naruto/HP fandom, a character got adopted and the toxic birth family refuses to accept it, ignoring the existence of the foster family, calling him/her by birth name telling them its their 'real name', trying to bring you 'home' where they 'belong', dragging/shoving you back to their house or just try to stop you from leaving said house. Speaking of 'family' and 'filial duty' more often than not they want something of this so-called reconciliation, maybe they feel guilty of being bad parents and selfishly want their 'child' back or you are useful for them/they need you in some way. Attempt at toxic and clingly parenting after knowing you for less then week. They want you to abandon your loving foster family to stay with them forever and ignore the fact you explicit told them you want nothing to do with them. Can have they trying to take you from the school or hijacking your life and traps for forced surprise reunions, demands to have a part in your children's lives (and names too). Insistence that 'they are family' and you 'cannot leave them', 'I am your father, I have authority over you' demanding your time. Toxic attempts on bonding and 'getting to know you'. Maybe even a non-consensual blood test involved or stealing documents from the hospital.
We need more KHR fic like this, Nana and Iemitsu are abusive as hell and delusional too.
Its such a perfect plot for Katekyo Hitman Reborn, why KHR Fandom are obssessed with the Twin Plot and not the Adopted One?
Tsuna already having a loving family and friends that are not related to Vongola is wonderful. Vongola won't get away with half of their crap if their broken puppet had support and a loving family instead of his narcissist father and doormat mother (and puppeter grandfather).
And Iemitsu won't be able to get inside their house like nothing happened, while getting drunk on their couch, to force his useless little Tuna-fish to reconciliate with him while Nana attempts to do the same thing to get her 'perfect fairy tale family'. They won't be able to take Tsuna out of the country without explanation or invite people to the household without his parents's consent. Timoteo probally would never get to even talk to Tsuna.

"The laws of the mafia?"
"That's right. From here on, if the Vongola and the Shimon should ever compete against one another...we shall deliver punishment."
"What are you talking about? This has nothing to do with you people! Even if you are keepers of the law."
"These laws apply to all of you. Especially you, Giotto-kun. We keepers of the pacifiers, the Arcobaleno, and you Vongola...our destinies shall be forever intertwined. This even includes your descendants."
"Arcobaleno?! What are you talking about...?"
"It's fine, Giotto...let's go ahead and make an oath to them. Our Families will never have any quarrel...not today, not tomorrow, never."
"COZART!"
"If we don't break the oath, then there's no problem. We can believe in our children."
"If this oath is ever broken, the Family Bosses and Guardians shall fight with their Pride on the line. We shall imprison the losers of those fights until the day they die."
...
"That's fine by me. But I have one condition. After each battle that occurs, I want the Vongola and Shimon's descendents to learn of our true history."
"Giotto.'
...
"After all the history has been told, if both Families' hatred has still not dissolved...then you're free to roast them, burn them, or do whatever it is you plan on doing.
"However...if both Families once again return to their true friendship..."
...
"If they prove that they honor this oath...their Will will become one, and our Flames will burn!!"

THIS. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. I'm happy that he gets to feel this way about his family after spending his childhood almost basically alone. Like it's so special, I want the Vongola family to be happy together forever.

Weakness In Love (1820 fanfic)
Word Count: 1,140 Setting: Inheritence Ceremony Arc roughly. Relationship: 1820. Summary: She would have likened him to a modern Adonis had he kept his mouth shut.
She would have likened him to a modern Adonis, the epitome of male beauty had he kept his mouth shut. She was the strongest of Simon family and the head of the liquidation committee, this wasn't supposed to happen. The ever drifting glacier found herself trapped, entranced even by a rival that had infuriated her.
What did she see in him? He was strong, he was handsome, he was able to exist alone but knew he was strong because of his connections. While she was a motherly figure, a strict disciplinarian and was alone because she feared letting those outside the family close to her when they'd been betrayed in the past, especially not someone from the very family that betrayed them. This was wrong, she shouldn't feel anything towards him except pure bitterness and animosity.
Yet during that fight, she saw who he really was. He was strong, he was wild, he was free to drift as he pleased, he deserving of his rank as Cloud and she was the weaker one, a small animal as he'd put it, mesmerized by his beauty and strength and too frozen in shock to flee or fight back. An impenetrable castle constructed of the finest ice she could have made, and he humiliated her by destroying it with an animal. He was merely an animal in a cage too wasn't he? Until she saw the hunger in his eyes.
He was free, he was wild, he was blood thirsty. Hibari Kyouya was a man who could not be tamed, could not be restricted, and could not be easily broken no matter how strong Adelheid believed she'd been, he was stronger. He was her kryptonite and the last thing she was ready to do was admit to that. She was strong and independent and she refused to admit she could be bound to someone. Adonis he was not, but something about him drew her in and nothing infuriated Adelheid more.
"Why are men so infuriating?" She tended to Enma's wounds as he'd once again been attacked by a dog.
"I-I don't know. What's this about?"
She shook her head, she shouldn't take it out on Enma, when he was her boss and had nothing to do with her rage at her defeat at the hands of the Vongola Cloud. She knew the true history now, but she would forever be angry that she wasn't as strong as she thought, that there was in fact a Vongola member who could defeat her and the fact he'd done it so easily, so calmly, and casually pissed her off even more. "The Vongola Cloud." She muttered under her breath and shrugged it off as she went about her way after cleaning him up.
Little did she know she'd be seeing much more of Hibari Kyouya in the coming weeks, the Simon were transferring to Namimori. As much as his beauty infuriated her, she'd have to put up with him. She walked into the school and after a few questions with a few of the girls, she located his office and walked in.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Hibari dropped the pen from his hand.
"This office belongs to the liquidation committee from now on." She announced.
He scowled, "The liquidation committee?" Over Hibari's dead body would he give up his position for a woman. He was the Namimori head prefect, he wasn't about to let her come in and tell him what to do. "And if I refuse to give it up?"
She made her way towards his desk and inched closer to him until they were face to face, her body heat radiating so close he could feel it too. "I have my ways of getting what I want." Adelheid announced and leaned in, kissing him. And to even Hibari's shock, he didn't protest, he didn't pull away, he kissed her back.
His curiosity was piqued by her comment. What did she want from him exactly? Was this just an enemy tactic to get him to lower his guard so she could get what she wanted from him? She might have her ways of getting what she wanted, Hibari wasn't always a man to give in and let someone have what they wanted from him. They had to prove themselves to him, and if her diamond castle had been so easily penetrable that he didn't even have to break it himself, she wasn't as strong as she claimed she was. She was merely a herbivore dragging her knuckles on the ground still, afraid of flying yet.
She'd thought she had the upper hand, that he was merely bluffing when he said he'd easily take on all one hundred of her blizzard droids and then she found herself infuriated when he'd defeated and spared her life when she'd always been taught the weak don't survive. He'd shown her an act of kindness and Adelheid desperately wanted to know why. The ruthless blood thirsty Cloud she'd heard so much about, that had beaten her so easily as if she was a sitting target was showing her kindness and warmth she thought she'd never find.
His smirk once again pissed her off.
"You're going to have to try a little better than seduction to get me to give up my office." He teased.
Adelheid found her heart racing, "And what if it's not your office I'm interested in this time? I know what I said when we first met but…" she couldn't find the words to admit she was attracted to him. Was he really as untouchable as she thought? Would her efforts be in vain if she did pursue him? Was Hibari Kyouya really as aloof and untouchable as the rumors had said?
"Hmm? But what?" He tilted her head to look into her eyes, mesmerized by their red hue.
"But I've changed my mind. All I want is to get to know you better." Adelheid admitted. She felt bare and cold saying it, as if she ripped off a precious piece of armor from her heart and left it for him to do as he pleased with it. A heart of ice can easily shatter when dropped just the right way.
"Then we should start from the beginning." He wasn't going to be an easy catch, and he knew she was strong enough to kill him if she wanted, but even Adonis was resurrected. Hibari could take his chances with her and all Hibari had to do was shut his mouth and take a chance on her.
Her fingers reached for his hair, threading through soft black locks. "Then kiss me again and we'll see where this goes."
Glaciers and clouds both drifted freely at their own pace, but sometimes the sky met the earth and the strongest guardians could find weakness in love.
