There’s a very interesting dynamic with reader and her siblings for sure. In case your forgot from oldest to youngest: William, Astoria, Edward, Charlotte, and Reader. (Sorry theres a lot that I’ve written but it is important for you to understand the different dynamics)

Reader is somewhat close to her siblings in the sense that they share a common upbringing and understanding of the expectations placed on them. However, this closeness may not extend to deep emotional bonds, as her siblings, particularly William, Edward, and Astoria, seem more aligned with the family’s realistic and business-oriented outlook. They accept the marriage and even support it more than reader does, even encouraging her to see the “benefits” of the arrangement.

There is rivalry between the siblings and this extends to their views on the arranged marriage, with William and Edward (more William) acting superior, thinking they understand what’s best for the family. They see reader resisting her duties, while they uphold theirs, causing friction. This dynamic intensifies reader’s feelings of being trapped in a marriage that her brothers—who are are the most influential between all the siblings—support more than she does.

William, as the oldest, carries the weight of family expectations more heavily. He’s more rigid and traditional in his views, holding the family name and prestige above all else. William pressures reader the most to fall in line with the arranged marriage, seeing it as a necessary duty. His approach might come off as stern or even condescending, expecting reader to prioritise the family’s reputation over personal happiness. His relationship with Rafe is sort of very much too faced, keeping up an appearance in the public eye and surprisingly in private but he is polite—he respects Rafe’s social standing and business acumen, but he might also quietly disapprove of Rafe’s flaws and temper.

Edward, on the other hand, is more level-headed and pragmatic. While he also supports the arranged marriage, he is less forceful about it, understanding that reader may have mixed feelings. Edward adopts a more measured approach, offering advice and reasoning instead of pressure. He’d recognise the practical benefits of the arrangement, but he would also empathise with reader’s internal struggle, making him the more approachable of the two brothers. His interactions with Rafe is neutral, seeing Rafe’s usefulness but not being overly fond of him either.

When it comes to readers sisters, Astoria and Charlotte, the family dynamic gains more depth. Reader’s relationship with them has its own unique complexities, possibly with shades of rivalry similar to what exists with William and Edward.

Astoria maintains a distant yet caring presence (in her own very unique way) in the family, strictly adhering to traditions and societal expectations. She is quite vocal and snappy, often expressing her opinions bluntly, which can come across as abrasive. While her underlying concern for the reader is subtle, her words often reflect a detached attitude, shaped by her values and the weight of family expectations. Astoria has a composed relationship with Rafe, treating him cordially and respecting the marriage’s social importance, but an unspoken distance remains. Rafe finds her sharp demeanor frustrating, feeling pressured to meet her standards, with her pointed comments creating an atmosphere where he feels constantly evaluated or compared.

Charlotte, on the other hand, is much closer to reader. She shares a more intimate bond, offering emotional support where reader feels misunderstood by others in the family, making her a confidante. Charlotte’s closeness to reader creates a stronger sense of loyalty, leading her to side with reader more often than not, even if she doesn’t entirely rebel against the family’s expectations. Unlike Astoria, her interactions with Rafe may is more direct, as she expresses concern for how he treats her sister. This dynamic leads to subtle tension between her and Rafe, as he feels that Charlotte is protective of reader in a way that interferes with their relationship.

and I agree with you on this issue, I really think we need to see the interactions of Stella and Octavia, the two of them have not spoken even once in the series. And since Via is one of my favorite characters in HB I would really like an episode where we learn about her

and I can put a recent question here about my opinion on stella.

Q: - Stella isn't that hateable

A: Right now the show is just trying to portray her as a hateable character and right now she is, because we haven't gotten into the past and the layers of the character(Maybe we will maybe we won't idk maybe she is pure evil who knows) . but at least for my AU, as much as Stella hates Stolas now, she is a character with layers and she didn't want to marry Stolas when she was young either . She was forced into this marriage too and gave birth to Octavia when she was very young yes there was never any real love between them but for the sake of Octavia she tried to have a peaceful marriage but when Stolas cheated on her she unleashed all the anger she had been building up for years “I wasn't happy in this marriage either I wanted to love someone but I didn't cheat on you but you cheated on me with an imp!)

also Stella is a really good mother even though she is a young mother, she did her best to take good care of Octavia even though her own mother did not take care of her.

Alright I can't quite work out how I want to do Chayanne and Tallulah, so... a short piece of Ramón angst as he tries to find his feet! @becauseplot sorry this is more angst and emotions than just kid exploring ^^; xcom au, warning for some stuff with Spreen (he did his best in a horrific situation, Ramón is still fucked up for it) I should also note that q!Spreen is a character I do not know at all well. qxcom!Spreen is going to be a different can of worms, because I filled in a lot of blanks that were not actually blanks. Ramón has been with the group a couple of days, at this point. They'll probably talk more about Spreen sometime, but this is just a short conversation about a really specific sub-topic.

Fit isn't doing much when he is interrupted by the soft sound of nervous footsteps, accompanied by the slap of a thin tail on the floor. He looks up from the notes he is preparing, and then down to see the small form of Ramón half-hiding behind the doorframe.

The other parents say they can feel their children approach; Fit guesses he's just stupid.

"Hey Ramón," he says, not really sure how to be gentle. "Did you need something?"

Ramón is cautious in his approach, moving slowly enough that the legs of his hat barely move. Fit watches, and waits, until Ramón reaches him and raises his arms upwards.

And Fit knows he has gone soft, because he does not even hesitate as he scoops his beautiful baby boy up and into his lap.

"This isn't like you," he says, as his chest is nuzzled into. "Did someone hurt you? Do we need to beat them up?"

The shake of Ramón's head is hesitant, but definitive; Fit leans back on his chair, and tries to remember how to hold someone without using it as a precursor to suffocation. Awkwardly he tries to rest his hand on Ramón's back. Thankfully, the boy takes pity on him, shifting and handing him his notebook.

'I don't want a dad. Is that okay?'

The words sting. They sting a great deal, and Fit does not know what being stabbed through the heart feels like, but assumes that this is what his victims must have felt as shrapnel pierced their lungs. Still he swallows, pushes the gut reaction away; Ramón is just a kid, just an abused and fucked with kid. Fit is the adult. He has to be the adult, and a support for his... Is he allowed to say son now?

"That's okay," Fit says, even if the words kill him. "Whatever you need, Ramón. You call the shots here."

Fit thinks the pain must show anyway, because Ramón's face falls, and he quickly grabs the notepad back. After a bit of scribbling it is handed back, with new words on the page.

'No, wait, I want you to be my dad, but I do not want you to be dad.'

Fit... does not quite get it. He frowns, and watches Ramón scribble even more, words pouring out now as he desperately tries to correct himself and explain.

"Shhhh," Fit tries, all too familiar with putting his foot in it and watching people hurt for the attempt. "Breathe. Take your time. Words kind of suck, but there's no rush."

Ramón keeps rushing.

The page is torn out this time, forced into Fit's hands.

'I don't want a dad. I was told to call Spreen papa. I don't want a papa or a dad or a father. Not again.'

And Fit... He isn't sure just what happened between Ramón and his ex, but he knows it wasn't pretty; Spreen never reacted well to being trapped. Neither of them regretted the marriage per say, not when Fit would have fucking died without them using it to force the twin's hands, but it was a fucking trainwreck from start to finish. Spreen forced into looking after a kid? While kidnapped? With the sort of telepathy bullshit Tazercraft live with going on, but uncontrolled, between him and said child? It's a fucking wonder either of them survived the experience, let alone that Ramón is adjusting as well as any of them.

It doesn't mean that the words don't sting, but Fit can breathe a little easier.

"That's alright, my boy," he answers, careful to keep his tone more even. "What would you like to call me instead?"

'Can you be Fit? Just Fit?' comes the reply.

"We can do that; it's what everyone else calls me, so nice and easy there," he reassures, the sting having become something sad instead. "If I'm just Fit, what do you want to be? Just Ramón? A new name? Something else?"

The pause this time is somehow longer, Ramón even more hesitant in what he writes. Fit worries, not for what the words will say, but for what horrors are going in his baby's little genius brain.

'I like Ramón. I'

It's odd, for Fit to be given a paper with a sentence left hanging. He strokes his head with his good hand, and prompts, "you?"

Somehow, somehow, the words come even slower - like fighting through toffee.

'I want to be your son. Is that okay? To want to be your son, but not to want to call you dad?'

Ramón looks so, so scared as he writes the words. Fit... is not sure how to comfort a kid, so he pets his hair and forces concern into a smile and tells him, "that's more than okay, Ramón. My beautiful baby boy. Whatever you want."

Just as a blush starts showing around his scales, Ramón hides his face back in Fit's chest. It's a hug, just a hug, his arms gripping as tight as they can around Fit.

Fit dares not use his prosthetic to hold his child, but he wraps his good arm across the boy's back. He holds him, as tight as he dares, and thinks that perhaps he realises just why the other parents have turned so soft.

LotR Star Trek AU

-Bilbo and Lwaxana Troi have a simultaneously friendly and unfriendly rivalry.

-Lwaxana being Lwaxana, she assumed Bilbo was attracted to her, even though Bilbo is very gay and had zero interest in anyone who didn't have a beard.

-Thorin still teases him about it.

-but both of them are so camp that they can't not have some kind of friendship.

-Bilbo is a renowned retired language expert.

-although he occasionally does some work for Starfleet, he rarely leaves his planet anymore.

-Frodo, who is a less renowned language expert, does travel about on Starfleet ships and provide his services.

-Sam is a botanist who's particularly good with root vegetables.

-He and Frodo are a Bonded pair and travel about together.

-Hobbits cannot be without at least one of their species and while single Hobbits can be transferred alone to other ships with other Hobbits, bonded pairs must be transferred together.

-Hobbits are rare in Starfleet. There are only about ten currently enlisted: Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, and six others.

-Frodo and Sam are the only Bonded pair currently.

-the ship they are usually on is the USS Fellowship, but occasionally go over to other ships to assist with translations.

-Gandalf is an ex member of the Q Continuum who got bored and decided to cause chaos elsewhere. The crew of the Fellowship just accept his presence.

-Aragorn is of course Captain of the Fellowship. The previous captain Denathor having died similarly to how he died in the books.

-Faramir is second in command on the ship.

-Boromir was chief security officer, but he was forced to retire after he was injured trying to protect Merry and Pippin during an away mission.

-the new security officer is Éowyn. Her people come from a forgotten Earth colony who only joined Starfleet about fifty years previously.

-Legolas is a navigator. His people have been part of Starfleet for about as long as the Vulcans and are usually navigators or science officers. Legolas is a himbo (affectionate) who is bad at science.

-Gimli is the chief engineer obviously.

-The Dwarves, or Dwarrow, are a newer addition to Starfleet. They've had a longstanding feud with the Elves for centuries and they've only made peace within the last hundred years or so

-Merry is an ambitious young command officer who would go on to be the only Hobbit in the history of Starfleet to become a captain. He is also Riker levels of slutty. Merry, Faramir, and Éowyn are a throuple.

-Pippin is a newly enlisted ensign. He's an absolute disaster, but still manages to save the day on several occasions. Once he grows up a little, he becomes a very competent Starfleet officer. However, he returns to Shire, the Hobbits' home planet, when his father retired as Thain. His experience on board of a star ship made him an excellent Thain.

More about hobbit culture:

-Hobbits are not quite as split as Vulcans and Romulans, but there is an adventurous and unadventurous subspecies.

-Hobbits have been part of Starfleet for generations, but Bilbo's mother was the first Hobbit to be an officer.

-Hobbits pretty much look like they're described in the LotR books, but they have tufted tails about as long as they are tall and large pointed ears that can pick up sound far better than humans can.

-Hobbits have blood that is a much brighter red than humans, meaning they all have noticeably red cheeks, even when they have darker skin.

-they were one prey animals on their planet but managed to outsmart and outlive the large predators that used to hunt them.

-They still retain their sharp hearing and stealthiness.

-Hobbit Bonding is akin to marriage but the ceremony is extremely private. While the couple that is being bonded recites some vows for an elder, the actual ceremony is performed only by the couple.

A: How did you come up with the title to [insert fic]?

I think that I'll answer this for my two posted fics about Elyse hehe.

The Perfect Storm - the plot in very simple terms is 'poor Elyse aand Balgruuf keep having all sorts of stuff getting stirred up, and they are going to come out of it in one of two ways: worn down and ruined, or stronger than ever having withstood the storm'. In hindsight that would've been an awesome description with a little tweaking of the wording.

Seeking the Sun - I liked the weather motif which I have established with The Perfect Storm, and had not long been listening to the Fire Emblem Three Houses soundtrack. The main theme started playing, and the lyrics 'I look to you like a red rose seeking the sun no matter where it goes' kind of just stuck with me. It also fits quite nicely with the general plot, in that Elyse has just moved to Skyrim to find a new happiness in her life after the losses of her parents.

K: What’s the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?

Ohhh that is absolutely the post-Oblivion main quest story which I have kind of on the backburner that I started writing a few months back based around one of my Heroes of Kvatch, Aelia.

In short, she and Martin fall for each other, they promise to get married once the Oblivion crisis is over, and then he goes and sacrifices himself. She's overcome with grief, refuses to leave Cloud Haven Temple... then makes an unfortunate discovery that Martin wouldn't have been the last of the Septim line, because she was pregnant with his child. And that leads to a long, spiralling path into the madness which results in her ending up as Sheogorath.

Q: Do you have any discarded scenes/storylines/projects?

Hmmm, I do have a storyline which I'm not certain if I have discarded yet, but had been toying around with the idea of...

An arranged marriage between the Thieves Guild guildmaster Dragonborn, and Hemming Black-Briar, which comes about as a form of... insurance to keep the guild firmly in Maven's hands once the guild starts trying to distance itself from her manipulations. It gets forced into place by Hemming hiring people to sabotage the guild, and then placing the idea into Maven's head so that he could 'have' the Dragonborn, though the Dragonborn was actually in a relationship with one of Brynjolf or Karliah when it comes to pass.

I did have a plot point written down in the first outlines for The Perfect Storm which has since been discarded in favour of something else, and funnily enough, it also has to do with Riften. Elyse and Balgruuf were originally going to get married in secret at the Temple of Mara if anything to give Elyse greater securities that could only really be afforded to Jarls and their families, as well as to give her some breathing room from everything going on... but it ended up very badly timed, as Ulfric just so happened to be visiting Riften on official Stormcloak business with Jarl Laila. I've since remembered that Season Unending was a Thing, and Riften is now in Imperial hands in the fic so I scrapped that idea in favour of another.

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

I certainly have a few. There was only one bed is definitely one of them, as is pretend relationships that become real ones. As is enemies to lovers, there's all sorts of flavours to that! I mean, Elyse's parents theoretically are an enemies to lovers couple, in that Ingja perceived Edwyn as an enemy, her being a resident of Winterhold and him being a member of the College and her blaming him and the College for Winterhold falling apart.

I also love some AUs, specifically ones which have just a slight twist to what is typical. For example, a few weeks back in September/October, I was very into the concept of 'what if Balgruuf was a vampire' AU. Still not finished that. Maybe for next halloween... I also like the thought of 'what if they weren't Dragonborn/didn't find out that they were Dragonborn' AUs for my Dragonborn characters.

x. happily ever after

“After dinner,” you stated, hoping to get more time to finally make a decision. This wasn’t a fairytale, you had two hearts in your hand and that was excluding your own. Because you knew Kiyoomi would do anything to prove himself and despite coming off as unbothered, you knew if you left Atsumu again, he’d be crushed.

“Very well,” Kiyoomi said, nodding and the servants began to lead you and him to the dining room. You’d ordered the servants to put out the nicest table clothes and to collect flowers for display. Atsumu and Maeve trailed behind you, also invited to dinner as per your request.

You thought of making small talk but as you stared over at the king’s stern expression, you figured it would be best to stay silent, perhaps letting Atsumu or Maeve start a conversation. Kiyoomi sat across from you at the other end of the table while the two servants sat on the opposite side, observing the large spread that was fit for royalty.

“Thank you for welcoming me into your home, Y/n,” Kiyoomi spoke up, still not meeting your gaze, “it’s quite lovely.” He complimented. You thanked him, and invited the three of them to begin eating.

As the four of you ate, you couldn’t help but feel yourself getting antsy, needing to at least talk to him, crossing your fingers that something he might say could possibly sway your choice.

“How are things in the capitol, Your Royal Majesty?” Maeve asked, reading your body language quickly. She took a sip from her wine at the same time, watching Kiyoomi finish chewing his food before he replied.

“Tensions have settled, Prince Wakatoshi and I have rewritten a few treaties and the conscription has been withdrawn.” He stirred around the vegetables on his plate, quickly looking at you for the first time, “a war was avoided because of Y/n, and I can’t thank her enough for that. The people in Itachiyama will be forever grateful.”

“Of course,” you softly smiled, your mind flashing back to your last days in the palace. He promised you that as long as you were his wife, he’d protect you and take care of you. It was all you could truly want and even if you felt that Atsumu could do his best to love you, could he take care of you?

He was familiar, he was safe, he was the reassurance you needed when your life was falling to shambles. Kiyoomi though, was something new, something that needed to be grown, like seeds in the ground. It would take work to mend the broken patches and to heal, but it would be worth it in hopes of a flower blooming.

The rest of the dinner was eaten in silence, along with you stealing glances from both Atsumu and the king.

“Y/n, are you ready to sign the papers?” Kiyoomi questioned, dabbing his lips with a napkin.

You could feel your breathing speeding up, trying to calm your heartbeat, hearing it ringing in your ears. “Yes, Maeve please show him to my father’s studies, I’ll be there in just a moment.”

The redhead nodded, rising from her chair and beckoning her old employer to follow her. In doing so, it left you in the room with Atsumu, who was staring at you lovingly and understandingly.

“Have you decided?” There was a small crack in his voice that neither of you wanted to acknowledge. You shook your head, lifting yourself out of your seat and repositioning yourself on his lap. Instinctively, he wrapped his hands around your waist.

“I still have no clue,” you sighed, putting your own arms around his neck. “I love you, Atsumu, no matter what, I never want you to forget that. Surely you’ll find a way to love again, you have everything to offer.”

You pressed a kiss against his forehead, and you could feel him let out a breath he’d been holding. Atsumu didn’t reply, holding onto you for a moment longer before loosening his grasp and allowing you to slip free.

He gave you one last nod, letting you walk away, your head held high. You once again had no idea what you were going to say to Kiyoomi but all you could do was walk. Approaching your father’s study, your hand on the door knob, you let in a large breath before stepping through the threshold.

You pictured a face of disgust at the thought of telling him you didn’t want to divorce, that he’d curse you out for putting him through such a hassle. You could also see yourself holding your breath, writing your name in ink and solidifying the separation between the two of you. How Kiyoomi would regard your every move, itching to get back to his throne room.

Nonetheless, it was in your hands and it would start with opening the door.

Kiyoomi was sitting there, waiting, quickly turning his head to see you walk in. You knew he wasn’t there long but nonetheless apologized for the wait. As you sat in your father’s old chair, your soon to be ex-husband laid out the scroll, showing where you needed to sign it.

“I thought it would be wise to tell you we’ve uprooted all the Devil’s Breath from the palace walls,” Kiyoomi said, clearing his throat. The king was either making small talk, or he was trying to delay the inevitable.

“Very well,” you smiled knowing that no one else would be in a similar position as yourself. “I’ve heard rumors that Prince Wakatoshi is engaged, is this true?”

You also disliked small talk, still finding yourself asking questions. Perhaps you too, were subconsciously avoiding having to sign the paper.

“Yes, it is.” Kiyoomi leaned back in his seat a bit, crossing his fingers and sitting comfortably. “The wedding is due five months from now.”

“And who’s the lucky lady?” You hummed, staring back and forth between the king and the bottle of ink. The black substance seemed to be teasing you, ‘stop horsing around, you have business to do.’

“I believe it’s to a noble woman from Fukurodani, they’re establishing an alliance with the marriage,” he explained.

“I see,” your voice trailed off, “and you? Do you plan on taking another bride after today?”

It was courageous of you to ask but something inside you needed to know. Was Kiyoomi going to remarry someone more courteous? He and the Queen of Karasuno seemed to get along, you shouldn’t have been thinking of such things, for Heaven’s sake you were supposed to be divorcing him!

Yet, watching him press his lips together, staring into the space behind you, deep in thought, you had to know. The king took a deep breath, opening his mouth, leaving you at the edge of your seat in anticipation.

“I have time before I remarry, I suppose.” You hadn’t realized how hard your heart was beating until then, slumping back in your seat. It wasn’t the answer you were looking for in your brain, but in your heart it was more than adequate.

You stayed in silence, thinking that the royal would ask you if you planned on taking another husband but he remained hushed, gulping as you saw his Adam’s apple sink and rise.

“Well, we’ve delayed it this long.” You eyed the bottle of ink, sitting yourself upright and looking away from Kiyoomi. You didn’t want to sign it, that was the decision you had finally made, you could sign him out of your life forever. You were just scared that it would be too late to stop what was already in motion.

With a feathered pen in your hand, you stare down at the blank space that was meant for your name. Your fingers trembled, glancing back up at Kiyoomi who shared the same borderline fretful look.

“I’m sure this was expected of us,” you tried to joke, putting the pen down for a moment, trying to get whatever was on your mind, off so you wouldn’t live with any regret. “I’ve said a lot of cruel things to you, Kiyoomi.”

“And I to you,” he replied back with quickly, “my actions have been wicked and unjustified. Our marriage lacked the proper foundations of a relationship to begin with.”

You nodded, hearing his tone, reading his body language. He’d responded almost too quickly, his eyebrows creasing together and his voice seemed strained. You put away the pen, staring at him, biting your tongue until you could finally manage to speak up.

“What if we rebuilt those foundations?” You asked, “a fresh start, without the fighting, without the hatred.”

His eyes widened, watching you carefully. Sure, Atsumu had pushed you into this position, but you knew that at the end of the day the decision was yours.

“What if I’m not worthy of a second chance?” He placed his hand against the desk, the tips of his fingers brushing with yours. You could see the weariness in his eyes, the need for you to say something as you drew out the silence.

“I suppose that’s up to me to decide,” you said, tilting your head in the slightest. “And I’ve decided that perhaps, under these new circumstances, we can get along and that we can grow to love each other once more.”

“Once more?” King Kiyoomi’s head quirked up.

“At the start, I hated the idea of you–unknowingly forced into a marriage with a stranger, let alone a prince. The thought of giving up my way of life swayed my actions towards you. There were moments where I loved you, but wouldn’t admit it. Yet there were times I I couldn’t love you at all but I knew you weren’t in your right mind.” You paused, thinking about what you wanted to say, “what I mean is that there were times I felt helpless, without any control but now I have the power to choose.”

“Does this mean you can forgive me for all that I’ve done to you?” He questions with a soft tone. You nodded.

“It does,” you answered, voice low and hushed. There was a faint smile pushing on Kiyoomi’s lips, laying his hand over yours.

“I promise, I won’t let you forget how much I’m sorry for my actions.” His smile transferred quickly to you.

“There is no need,” you mentioned, taking the divorce scroll into your hand and standing up alongside Kiyoomi.

You let out a light chuckle, “I don’t suppose any of the books in the palace library have any fairy tales that end like this, do they?”

“I suppose they don’t.” For the first time in a long time, you and Kiyoomi shared a laugh together as he watched you rip the paper into pieces, letting them fall onto the ground like snow.

Kiyoomi moved around the desk, cupping your cheek and before bringing you in for a kiss, he said to you: “I won’t stop cherishing you, I swear it.”

When he smashed his lips against yours, it mirrored the kiss on your wedding day, or at least what it should’ve felt like. It was as if someone had lit a spark, setting off cannonballs, or like lanterns had started to be let off to fill the night sky. You felt a hungry fire burn from within you, reaching your hands up to cling to him as your lips pressed together.

You moaned into his mouth, feeling his tongue against yours and it was then that you figured out what Atsumu was telling you about earlier. He was your equal and you could sense it in the way you both pushed against each other, as if to challenge one another. Kiyoomi would be someone to push you to be the best, he was growth, he was change. He represented the unfamiliar and the fear that came with the unknown. You loved him, you knew that and with every day, you would come to love him more than the last.

Yes, the Cool Kids are poly. They are all dating. I confirmed it in text.

Q: Why?

Because polyamorous people exist? Because they could be, and I liked the idea of their dynamic being more than just friends? Because it’s my AU? Pick one.

Q: Polygamy is wrong. 

If that’s what you think, I am happy to assure you that monogamy and monogamous marriage is still the norm, and no one will force you to get married to more than one person. 

Q: Poly relationships rarely work out. I know this, because I have seen many poly relationships that have not worked. 

Awesome. I’ve seen many straight, monogamous relationships that have not worked. In fact, I am struggling to name a straight, cis relationship in my life that is healthy on my one hand. Does this mean people shouldn’t write about them?

Relationships between people are often complex enough as is. If three people or more want to date/live together and get married, i think that’s reasonable. It’s none of my business whether or not specific relationships work out. I’m not out here crunching the numbers before I write a storyline.

Lastly: 

No one asked what YOU think of these relationships. They are not personally hurting you. Get off the soap-box. Go have a happily monogamous life. Me writing some characters as poly is not going to stop you from doing that.

And STOP sending me creepy sexual asks.

Yep! Fair warning, though, most of (if not all of) these are gonna be karlnapity because I'm one of the few that goes through the tag on a regular basis.

¿tu idioma o el mío? (your language or mine?) Basically, Quackity realizes that neither Karl nor Sapnap speak Spanish and realizes, wow, he can tease them all he wants and they won't know a thing. But, whoops, maybe his joke proposals aren't jokes after all. I really like this one! Idk why. I have a soft spot for fluff for fluff's sake. Let's Just Call It Commonlaw Karl, Sapnap, and Quackity are three very drunk roommates who accidentally get married through a commonlaw marriage and forget about it entirely. Only problem when they find out it's legit is that Karl is in love with his roommates, and that Sapnap and Quackity aren't in love with him. Right? Anyway, this one's written by my number one fan and I'm this fic's number one fan. The legal aspects might not be all there, but I'm a historian, not a lawyer. It's sweet and cute. Enough said. Oh, Sinners Come Down Wilbur-centric. After the Antarctic Empire conquered the existing empire, the homeless population is in shambles, including one Wilbur Soot and his house full of tiny nuisances. And then some asshole named Technoblade shows up and says that the Empire is going to build a homeless shelter. Again, idk why I like this one so much, especially considering my distaste for c!sbi, but it honestly comes off as more of a semi-dsmp semi-smp earth type of deal. When The Sunlight Dies Runaway Prince George and his emotionally-devastated knight, Sapnap, are on their way out of the kingdom when they run into local shmucks, Karl and Quackity. Add in the weird god dude doing the worst job at trying to 'force' George through a corruption arc, and it's a legit good time. Look, I may dislike this fic personally, but this is an objective list. There's a reason everyone and their mother recommends this one. It's just good. Just ignore the random bits of infodumping, but that's all in the second half of the fic. (Note: I do not recommend the very unneeded and overly-long final chapter or the sequel fic. At all. Save yourself the trouble and go outside instead.) tuck me in your covers, bring the colour back into my face Quackity definitely is absolutely alright. Don't even worry about him.
