Just as an FYI, my online presence may be a bit sporadic over the next two weeks - my laptop has died a death so I'm waiting to try and replace it. My WIPs may also be solely cross stitch for now, as I've started a new project <3

What fills your OC with envy? Alternatively who does your OC envy and why? <- for Elyse?

Oooh, thank you! For Elyse, one of the main things which makes her envious is the people who aren't burdened with something unavoidable or inescapable which provides status and essentially defines what they are, because she feels that being Dragonborn - something which defines her to a vast majority of people - can be quite isolating as a result of that. It's part of why she gets so close to Balgruuf, because it's something he can relate to being the Jarl, something which defines him.

There is also a point where she has a teensy bit of envy directed towards her friends who are mothers when they talk/gush about when their children were little - she becomes a stepmother when Balgruuf's children are or are nearing their teens, so she never experienced those younger years, and she feels that even though the children accepted and wanted her as their mother, she wasn't truly a mother like her friends. She and Balgruuf do eventually have their daughter together though, and will on occasion question why she was envious when she is awake at 3am trying to soothe a crying baby Aina.

For the ask game: In what way is your OC worse than you? Surprise me with an OC

Oh, that's quite an interesting one.... Hm. I might answer this for two of my OCs because it's quite fun to think about tbh :3 There's Elyse, her father Edwyn.

I am admittedly terrible at communicating things, especially when I need help - Elyse is much worse. We both know that we need help, but she will take things further by attempting to stop people from helping her (unless it's on her own terms), and gets frustrated when people do provide assistance. Something that we're both working on-!!!

I can also have a bit of a one-track mind at times. Edwyn takes that and turns out up to eleven - especially when it comes to Ingja, his wife and Elyse's mother. He even managed to get himself arrested in Cyrodiil because his research into ways to bring her back from the dead backfired and caused trouble in Cheydinhal (and that's the whole catalyst for Elyse ending up in Skyrim, oops. At least his time in prison gave him time to reflect on what his desire to see his wife again cost - his still very much alive daughter.)
