omg hello anon.... chiakanareikao are so fun omg. spoilers for my mermaid au i guess but i'm planning on throwing chiakanareikao in there as the endgame for those four <3 separately i think all the pairings are really fun tbh like chiakana and reikao are . Classics. kanakao is also really fun i like their interactions a lot especially with how it gives kaoru a much needed place to Be Himself without a lot of the fronting he tends to do plus also they have that marine bio club bond. chiarei and chiakao are really funny to me bc chiaki is Such A Guy and the whole hero/demon motif is always fun. with kaoru we have an added layer of kissing the homies goodnight with rei we have an added layer of them both flustering each other in really fun ways . kanarei are always enjoyable theyre both part of the eccentrics so they've got an understanding that few other ppl have with them . chiakanareikao great ship i love when they are all holding hands

i need a dipcifica fic where they’re out of school and it’s the summer before college or something. and pacifica straight up asks dipper ‘you wanna date me this summer to piss off my dad?’ as one last fuck you before she can finally leave that hell hole of a mansion.

and of course, dipper’s like ‘i would love nothing more than to make your father regret letting you out of the house. and it being my fault.’

so the whole summer is them actually dating but solely to fuck with her dad. and it’s a lot of casual dates and holding hands in public and obnoxiously making out in his beat up truck when dipper picks her up from the mansion and her dad is ripping his hair out in the window trying not to buy a shot gun and stalking down to the Shack.

and of course, it ends with them realizing they have actual feelings for eachother outside of friendship and spite against pacifica’s dad. and everyone else, literally everyone else, is so relieved that they admitted that they genuinely like eachother. mable and soos been planning their wedding since they were in 9th grade.

and then metatextually, Hermie stuck around and stayed around for what was supposed to be pulling that long-con joke, but in the process he became a person. in a way, Will's dedication to Normal having a crush on Hermie is what kept him around, and Normal interacting with him that made Anthony flesh out the dialogue that turned Hermie from a goof to a character.
