#have seen so many ppl echo disneys stated reasons for not renewing the show verbatim#and this vid really got at why that annoys me#like 1. why do u think disney is so eager to convince it it’s just business and not part of a bigoted pattern#and 2. lucasfilm has never made a financially responsible decision ever#the acolyte did well and had the potential for an absolute breakout s2! obv had serious problems but there was real potential here#and they shafted it for baby yoda movie . so naziposters would stop yelling#i get why not everyone would b hyped for a season 2 i really do there were dumb choices made#but this obviously wasn’t an ‘objective’ decision made purely 4 money or quality reasons . like obviously#the acolyte#star wars
