Still thinking about that little angel I dreamt about a bit ago so I’ve been binging other angel stuff and felt inspired to try to draw him as @hoaxghost ‘s style of angel.
#weirdly the halo was the hardest part to figure out because he very explicitly doesn’t usually have one. but man I’m charmed by it now#I was worried about balancing what’s damage he received VS slight cracks that ended from that damage making him a bit too human in nature#but it turned out pretty nicely even if it was hard to keep them simple and contained#still very proud of the stylization on his eyes making it look like the bottom one is a teardrop#nope he’s a freak#also yeah committing to he/himing the angel#less in a Boy Way and more in a like… gendering a hen male because you need to refer to that specific hen instead of the group#the boy vs the girls#idk if that makes any sense but that’s my own grammar and how it affects the little grub#my art#my ocs

#yugioh arc v#ygo arc v#arc v#zuzu boyle#yuzu hiiragi#celina#serena#rin#lulu obsidian#ruri kurosaki#arc v art#my art#drawing this made me realize how much more similar zuzu + co. look to each other compared to yuya + co#zuzu and celina in particular have pretty much exactly the same hair just in different colors + worn differently#rin + lulu are the outliers with shorter + longer hair respectively but even they still have the two strands framing their face#i kinda struggled with rin tbh i feel like i don't have a good grasp on her personality and it comes across when i draw her#but i ended up feeling like high pigtails / low pigtails / high ponytail / low ponytail was a good contrast between everyone#(and rin with her hair down just looked like lulu)#their colors don't clash nearly as bad as yuya + co.'s do either so there's a bit more cohesion among them -#- which is ironic considering the boys are the ones with identity issues and the girls are the ones with greater independence comparatively#but i've said too much already...(tugs my hat down and walks away pensively)

i know astrology is fake but i'm not too keen on how a lot of people on this website seem to be clowning on it as a hobby a bit too hard. i swear the woman who thinks it's neat how she and her friends with the same sun sign are all similar isn't trying to say that you are who you are born as and there is nothing you can do to change it. it's a hobby. an interest. what happened to finding meaning and joy in the small things. does it affect you if someone enjoys tarot reading or crystals. does it make you upset someone has interests that they enjoy.

Was that first glance truly a gay little moment between Mizu and Akemi, or was she actually surprised (maybe even a little jealous?) that femininity could even look like that? Lavish, spoiled, seemingly loved or at least, something to be desired. I think it's pretty sure that she does not grasp how Akemi's life is a prison just as much as hers. That much is clear in their dialogues and her behavior towards her.
What if that dialogue (you, magical forest creature spoiling your good chances at a good life etc etc) was actually lowkey jealousy? of a life she herself would never get to experience as a woman? of being allowed to be a woman AND have a chance at happiness?
