Over the course of this month I'll be posting some of the game's art to this blog! This image is a sneak peak of content only available in the full release!

This image depicts a flashback that the Pizza Knight has to his youth after drinking one of the potions. This memory, taking place ten years before canon, depicts a scene from the knight's years as apprentice knight to the Skim Milk Knight when they visited the inn of Flying Jacob, a veteran of the AU wars made from, well, Flying Jacob (a Swedish casserole made from chicken, cream, chili sauce, bananas, roasted peanuts, and bacon). While the Skim Milk Knight talks of bygone days with his host, the Pizza Knight encounters one of Flying Jacob's tamed Pteranodonuts, who is begging for a sample of the knight's lingonberries. The sodas in the foreground are based on a discontinued line of sodas from Sweden called Kristall that I loved as a kid, particularly their pear flavor.

i think the tags i left on that post earlier can be boiled down into I think Jack is a chronic underthinker and Davey is a chronic overthinker. Jack follows his instinct to a fault, jumps in headfirst to try and fix things without pausing to think it through, refuses to think too hard about why he is the way he is because that might mean learning something new to hate about himself and he just can't handle it. Davey paralyzes himself thinking about everything that could go wrong with every possible plan of action, sits in his good intentions and doesn't know what to do with them, has this crazed desire to know everything he can about everything he can so that he can make the "right" choice even in things where there isn't one right answer.

and they balance each other out like that. because neither of them are stupid and while they're both stubborn they both also know how to listen to reason. so when they're together davey can say hey let's pause and think for a second and maybe there's a smarter way to do this. and jack can say hey if we don't do something now we loose our chance, and isn't anything better than nothing?

so davey can start taking leaps of faith, and jack can give himself space to breathe.

I'm not usually serious on my blog, but I need to vent.

With so many trans kids getting killed and the media being as dogshit as usual, it worries me about mine and others safety. I'm not openly trans. My town is pretty okay. pretty pro-LGBT...but nobody ever knows. Anyone could get murdered for being who they are. And that scares me. I'm scared to come out, scared to be open... Hell, I'm even scared to talk to my therapist about shit like this because I'm worried my father will somehow find out. I'm scared to do anything. Go out in public, walk to school, walk home, even go out with friends. And speaking of. My friends are all worried for their lives. All of us, thinking of ending it all. Right here, right now, on our own terms. All because of shitty people with shitty beliefs, all thinking that because we're different, we're a threat.

This shit has to stop

This isn't 'kids being kids'

This is murder.

We need to stop murdering people because they're different.

New copy of queen of the damned arrived in the mail today and yeah I’m mostly excited for the devil’s minion experience but I did skip to the very end of the book for a minute bc Louis sighing and complaining the entire time while Lestat goes to visit David is just so funny… like he literally doesn’t have to be there, he could’ve waited outside, he is so truly just there to be pissed off the whole time. Acting like he’s definitely not jealous either, that’d be crazy, why would he be jealous of Lestat talking to some old guy from the Talamasca, that’s silly. He’s totally not having a conniption over Lestat bringing up turning David out of nowhere. He’s being normal. He’s fine. He’s literally fine
