Tough Like Dandelions-verse Continues!

Hello friends, long time no see with an update on this verse, but hey, I've got good news.

I finished a 20k one-shot centering on Theo and Malia's relationship while also showing how Theo has integrated into the pack as a whole since the end of TLD and gearing up for the next part in this awesome story.

Many thanks to @spiderraeken, @raekensarcher, and @outcastpack for helping with this and keeping the brainworm alive as it grew.

The sequel story (Love Like Hellebores) is in the making, so expect some chapters being posted in February (or after, because my wedding is on the 14th, so I might get a little distracted during that). But it's in the works!

Came across a post on pinterest about peonies- how they bloom for 100 years and are thus used to symbolise happy and long marriages. And I can't stop thinking about how Wei Wuxian tossed these peonies at Lan Wangji during his first life.

And I'm also thinking about how Lan Wangji pressed one of those peonies into the notebook on which Wei wuxian transcribed the Lan clan rules, on the page which explains the significance of the Lan clan forehead ribbon...

And just like how peonies are said to bloom for a hundred years, Lan Wangji's love for Wei Wuxian never withered even after all those long years...

Edit: okay guys, I just saw an old post on tumblr about the audio drama. In the AD, when Wei Wuxian tosses peonies at Lan Wangji, the music that plays in the background is called 'silent confession'

NGL I love how the spiderverse fandom saw the ship potential and with our single collective braincell came up with the ship names on the spot and refused to change them.

No communication needed, no debate, we just knew what they'd be.

Yet for some reason , the Miles and Ganke ship name sucks. So I propose to the shared brain, riotflower.

Miles ship code is based on the song he was listening to in ITSV, Sunflower by Post Malone. So it only makes sense that Ganke's should be based on the song he listened to in that movie, Start a Riot by Duckworth and Shaboozey.

It was out of nowhere, or was to the former-alpha across from Theo as he had blurted out the question and all but sank onto the counter top in said former-alpha’s apartment. Derek was usually pretty good at following his jumping brain and sticking with him, likely due to dating Stiles for however long — he hadn’t bothered to get an official timeline or date from anyone as of yet, mostly just assuming that had happened sometime in the midst of the whole FBI fiasco —  but the guy wasn’t as up to date on the whole internal pack problem scale as most, and Theo’s ribs were still twinging from the beating a couple of days ago. 

The overly expressive eyebrows climbed the born wolf’s forehead in exactly the way he figured they would, drawing a groan from Theo even as Derek said, “What do you mean?” 

Another deep and drawn out groan leeched out of Theo before he pulled his head off the cold stone surface and looked up at the pinched face, purposefully ignoring the not-so-quiet snickering from Stiles in the other room. 

“When he was first turned, you guys were about as friendly as Argent Senior.” The growl that edged out Derek’s chest doubled the affirmative nod as confirmation of his statement. “And now, you��re dating and mated to his best friend. How? What did you do to work it out, fix whatever bullshit that fucked up between your guys’ wolves?”
