2024. The year of the fire shield. 🔥

This was my second year performing with fire, and I had a lot of fun incorporating the sword and shield into my art.

A huge thank you to all the fire folks who have welcomed me until the flow community, including those at Ignition Fire troupe, Fire Camp, all my PNW flowmies, and everyone else i had the pleasure of meeting this year. It's so heartwarming being a part of this art community. 🧡

Slowly on the path to learning more and more hoop tricks and here are some screenshots of some of the moves I was learning! Mainly learning basic forward and back gestures and weaving! I was literally having a brain fart when trying to switch one hand in the reverse direction while keeping the other hand in the same direction! It was so hard stopping the blue hoop for a few tries as I was mentally having a tough time really stopping it but the green was easy stopping + concentrating on waist hooping while having another one is also a fun trick 😅🤭😵‍💫

Also, I was showing some love to the alt inspired top and bottoms set from my bubblegum! it's so adorable... I wanna collect some more colors 😍💜

Some Fire sword for your Sunday. 🔥

I had such a great time with all my flowmies down at Gasworks park this Friday.

One of them even let me borrow their fire sword and oooo boy, I am so hooked. I can't wait to finish my fire shield and other props with the help of Dan Treichel and get some of my own fiery steel swinging.

Sooooon.

Now it's back to the shop to get more orders finished up.

UPDATE: Thank you to all the folks who expressed concerns about my artistically unbound locks.

As always, people shown here are trained performers, and while having longer hair around fire does come with higher risks, I and the folks I share on here are doing everything we can to maintain the safest environment possible.

That being said, when dealing with fire, the risks are never zero, and I do appreciate the concern about my well-being, and encourag those who are new to fire to talk to a professional before experimenting, and to tie your hair back to limit risk.

I tried out some cute poses and shapes with my light whip! 🔦✴️ Whatcha think? I was experimenting a little bit for this set of pics..while practicing shapes n isolations with the whip 😝 definitely one of my cooler sets and I think it gives a little bit of a cyberpunk/futuristic vibe 🤭😅
