Hi friends. I am tired.

Not really expecting anything at this point, but the bills keep coming and they don’t stop coming and paying them instead of getting food means we are running out of food. Would 10/10 be a nice time if anyone could spare $20 or $50.

I am dashing my ass off but I sacrificed $170 to getting my registration renewed on my car and have no money for groceries until til tomorrow. I am so sick of not having a way to make ends meet.

I was already very happy with the little pocket sized Filofax I bought on eBay to hopefully save me money in the long term on expensive dated planners, since the refills are cheap as chips once the upfront cost of the binder itself is taken care of, and it'll last me for potentially decades since I got a genuine leather one, but I have recently realised I don't even need to buy the official inserts because there are any amount of free printable ones online AND ALSO I can just make my own on Affinity Publisher to look however I want and then print them out for the price of printer paper and toner.

Hey gang. Looking to switch my website from its current platform to a new one here in a couple months when the annual subscription runs out but I'm not entirely sure what all the options are beyond the really big companies that dominate the market. I'm looking for something that has a visual editor that is easy to work with & flexible, while still letting me dig into the code and write custom HTML/CSS when I need that. Anyone have any recs?

Imagine if Soap was really flexible or just able to perform graceful gymnastics in training and in the battlefield.

Like, it's not obvious because of his build, but when he does it, it just leaves you with your mouth open for a while. Some recruit just witnessing Soap do the splits and then just unable to stop staring.

Mix this in with his simps and boom, disaster (ig).

I actually wrote a thing like this ages ago but I don’t think I ever posted it. Anyway! I didn’t realise I had this, so sorry for the late ass reply.

But I can legit see Soap doing stretches and yoga and shit in the gym (cause you can’t stay flexible if you don’t work the muscles) and everyone who comes in sees him in increasingly ridiculous poses that take a crazy amount of flexibility to pull off.

Some are amazed, others are just in awe and then there’s the handful who see it and near immediately drop dead from the images and thoughts now ravaging their minds.

Like Gaz is one of the ones that’s just pure amazed and tries to get Soap to help him out with his own flexibility. He’s not nearly as crazy with it as the Scot but he’s gotten pretty good and he can proudly say he’s used it to his advantage more than once.

Price is a mix of amazed and exasperated cause he knows for damn sure the man doesn’t need to be posed like that for stretching out his legs but it’s still interesting to see. Plus its mildly amusing when the rest of the squad come in.

Rudy blushes like ten shades of red and nearly trips on his treadmill when Soap bends perfectly in half at the waist, holding the backs of his calves for a moment before slowly standing up, smiling in what Rudy swears to the fuckin gods is smug arousal.

Alejandro nearly drops a weight on his foot when the Scot sits across from him on the ground, splits his legs wide and leans forward till his chest touches the ground, arms spread in front of him and hand coming up in a small wave as he winks.

König doesn’t even make it into the gym to witness the full glory of Soap’s flexibility I reckon. He sees the man playing limbo in the common rooms with some recruits and just about dies of heatstroke under his hood when the man makes it the lowest out of everyone.

Ghost keeps it together best (obviously) but there’s no denying the way his eyes linger and trail when Soap is doing his stretches. The Brit gets especially worked up when the Scot does the ones that require some serious strength in the core or arms. The one time Soap went from a plank into a handstand, slowly and with precision, Ghost actually whipped himself in the legs with the skipping rope he was using.

He denied it ever happening and promised bloody murder on Gaz if he ever saw the video of it anywhere other than on his phone but with the way Soap smiled at him with that shit eating little grin of his he doesn’t think he escaped fully unscathed.

hey nerds! i have two GA tickets to the mother mother and cavetown concert in san diego on sunday!! tragically i cant go but i dont want our seats to be empty, i want someone else to get a chance to see them!!

Sorry all, I promise I will finish the posts I'm working on. It's just that I really need to prioritize the art I'm being paid for. And when I'm taking a break from the paid art, obviously I kinda want to do literally anything that isn't more digital art. I get burnt out.

And may I also just add. If you are coming to me for general advice, that's fine. If you have an interest in my own personal designs, that's also fine. But sometimes I get asks that feel like people want my specific ideas on how to design a specific thing, and I think I'm justified in saying this:

If you want me to give you so many details on specific designs, maybe what you should actually be doing is paying me to design something for you from scratch.

I do want to help my fellow artists who admire my skills and just want some advice on things that they find difficult. But I do not want to sit here going through a pile of asks from what feels like a single anon trying to create entire designs purely based on my suggestions. That's not the purpose of this. I can give you advice to improve your own skills, but I'm not going to dictate how you should be drawing your own unique creatures and fantasy people.

Pay me to design things if that's what you really want. I don't really have the time and energy to do so much free art work.

I tell you, planning a wardrobe with Shoplook has been the best thing. It gave me a list of basics I want to pick up, so that when I see something similar on sale or in a thrift store, I can grab it. Today it was a couple of things from an Old Navy sale.
