You do not need to change your program or workouts daily - some variation helps keep things interesting and spicy 🌶 but true progress comes from mastery of the fitness foundational basics. This includes good quality movement, getting stronger, building muscle, and staying consist over time. 🌹 Speaking for Myself 🌿 Personally, I think there is a way to be body positive while wanting to change your body. It’s like being happy with your home while wanting to do a little remodeling. What needs to be pinpointed is that remodeling takes time and a lot of planning for it to be a stable structure. There’s no instant fix, but certain things can make it easier to get there like a large enough team working together to build up the structure and lots of resources. . . The point of body positivity is to happy that you have a home in the first place: to love your body as you would your house, because it protects you & knowing that everything inside and out has been made to please you and only you. A stable house cannot be built if you are constantly tearing down the walls that helped it stay up in the first place. . . Additionally, it means to love your house even as you are admiring other people’s houses. Some people have gorgeous and luxurious homes, but this is my home, and I have memories in this halls that I would not change for the world. . . It is also not judging other houses because it doesn’t look like yours. Not everyone wants to remodel their home. You wouldn’t go into someone’s house and start telling them how they should make it look, right? So don’t do that with people’s bodies. . . You also wouldn’t assume the stability of their foundation just by it’s size, so don’t make assumptions about someone’s health if they’re smaller or larger.
