Don’t mind the shadow here, folks! Just came back from a Very Merrytime Cruise on the Disney Fantasy just today. Not a Yuletide Disney Cruise without a particular pipe organ who is always bolted to the wall - or rather, BLINGED ON A FISH EXTENDER!

The materials are scrap black fabric I found in the converted van and DMC rhinestones, the only ones bought for this FE. (Found the applicator wand while I organized my storage unit over a month ago!)

okay so... you know whats really funny here. i think made this while for the first time polls popped up on tumblr. and i had this werid idea of like... "choose your adventure" kind of story telling. but... lets be honest i don't have much... time to draw all the options? but this is still like... a sort of darker AU which is deer to my heart. and till today i don't know if they should have a happy end or not. sokka got shipwrecked. and to make his situation even worse zuko poped up and and took a bite of him.

the whole siren idea is more based on the sinister one. the one drowning and eating seamen. and zuko is now out to eat sokka. i have some plot lines written out. -sokka playing with zuko a game of riddles to buy himself some more time -zuko being unable to stay in the sun so sokka has to decide if he lest him take shelter underneath his make shift raft or lure him out of there to burn him. at the end sokka does get saved and can escape for some time? because zuko did end up biting him. and now sokka cant stop hearing him in his head, and zuko can still follow him. so... watch out sokka! zuko is on his way to eat you up but i still don't know if he means it literally or in a more plessurable way...

So close to finishing the one for my family and I ran out of bias tape 😭

All the fabric was fabric I already owned from when I made masks at the beginning of Covid and had to order 2 yards at a time from Joann’s because that was all they would ship 😂

I have enough different Marvel fabric I could have done all Marvel but my 18 month old daughter’s favorite movie is legitimately Nightmare Before Christmas and I had some I wanted to give her that.

I’ll post the done version once I pick up more bias tape from Joann’s

So we’re going on a Disney cruise next month (for my birthday! Which is Valentine’s Day!) and there is going to be a Valentine exchange, right? And like I needed to make a “fish extender” for people to put the Valentines in (fish extenders are a thing). But I haven’t touched my sewing machine in like almost two years! And I was afraid it wouldn’t turn out well. But I just finished the one for my parents (who are going with us) and I think it turned out well! Even used my new cricut skills (just got a cricut for Christmas).

tbh I couldn’t for the life of me pick a color palette I liked And Render it so I gave up on color. Enjoy the half assery.

Tbh I’ve just been call it Ithacan Naga, but it’s objectively it’s a mix of snake, owl/bird, and human. So 🤷.

Tbh the wings are supposed to be white/gray-brown, cause owls & Hermes, while his scales are supposed to be an oscillating scale from sea green-blue to purple-tinted gray. Uhm. Evidently that sorta didn’t happen but also did. So.

The purple/grayer scales are gonna be more around with the feathers and wings.

Those fin colors are. Too blue and too bright but I love the colors themselves so they’re staying for now.

Uhm. That’s it for now, ig. I’m sorta on a timer rn and I’m tired so <3

sure it could be chloe being silly but it is interesting that nathan is nathan iii yet his three most immediate prescott ancestors are all not named nathan. hes living for a legacy that doesnt even exist anymore

Watching the situation with EA doing a fuckton of updates in a like. 5 days because their latest pack broke TS4 in.. A HUGE VARIETY OF WAYS from player to player. Jesus christ man. and then some of you guys still wanna pay for new packs?? What??? I can't make anyone buy or not buy anything but... C'mon, put your money to better use! Half of that content should've been base-game anyway, but instead gets cut up and sold across multiple packs to milk money out of people,, and it clearly works because I'm seeing people nab packs during the sale even while the game is in an unplayable state for a lot of players.

It's so sad because I was kinda excited for the 10-year anniversary next month. But seeing the state it's in rn, how frustrated people are seeing their game break down and (god forbid) their saves get completely wiped, seeing the very convenient sale for packs go up right as the community sends in complaints that the game won't load properly or they can't use CAS or this and that etc etc,,,

I'm never paying for another pack again. I feel crap that I ever did in the first place. If it ain't 100% off, I'm not getting it.

#like i'm really just here thinking about too many realistic details #moving that much land-- ACROSS THE OCEAN.........#like moving a massive chunk of land across a tectonic plate-- woman was literally moving the earth #was gonna say ''do you think'' but no the ocean floor would absolutely have a scar from that #and i rewatched the warriors ep of natla and noticed they made kyoshi island have some smaller surrounding islands #which i thought would be neat #''hiding'' the island in a remote chain of smaller uninhabited islands #in a place where the earth kingdom and southern water tribe risk running into each other #and so probably avoid going altogether #what do you think that did to the flora and fauna #if there were any migration patterns crossing through there - not anymore they're not #by the time of aang they're probably just starting to see some either island dawrfism or island gigantism #like i know in the kyoshi book yokoya fishermen were fishing for elephant koi - but did they get bigger after the move?#bc they're just MASSIVE in atla in a way that doesn't look...fishable?#was the unagi always there?#moving south- that probably changed the seasons some-- extending the length of their summer days and winter nights #the stars probably weren't in the exact same position either--#IM IN THE WEEDS #writing tag

What if “the cavalry” in the final episode isn’t the Bad Batch themselves but everyone they helped since the first season? The Syndullas, Gungi and the Wookiees, Phee and the folks from Pabu, maybe even Saw Gerrera - victims of the Empire fighting for the clones that fought for them 🥹 It’s possible, right? RIGHT!? 😭

Fr tho it’s actually a perfect opportunity to start a rebellion. All those disparate groups brought together for a common goal. And maybe it fails, but the point is that now they know there are others like them out there, that there’s still hope. And in the end, isn’t that what Star Wars is about?

It’s also a perfect fuck you to Palpatine. For all his planning, he sowed the seeds for his own undoing lol Like Gerrera and his rebels, the Republic trained the clones and then they went on to haunt the Empire IT RHYMES 🤭
