😂🤣😂
This lady had to be a current or previous Disney Park Cast Member to get this video so nicely set up. 🤣👍🍪
I’ve also had one of those Disney gingerbread cookies, and they’re freak’n delicious! ❤️

Everytime I remember that Walt Disney voiced Mickey Mouse I just think to myself, “oh my god, Mickey Mouse really was just Walt Disney’s fursona.”

hey btw “cringe culture is dead” includes “millennial core”
it includes neopronouns
it includes neogenders
it includes hazbin hotel fans
it includes age regressors
it includes cosplayers
it includes the alterhuman community
it even includes Disney adults
stop hating people for their interests. Unless they are being genuinely problematic, leave them alone.

Honestly, shout out to character actors at Disney theme parks. These guys have the people skills that bureaucrats and most HR people desperately need.
Last year me and my friends went to Disneyland, the same time as the park’s big 100 year anniversary celebration. Basically as soon as we entered Main Street, we saw Chip and Dale, one of my friend’s favorite Disney characters, out and doing a meet and greet session. He wanted to get a picture of them and I went with him so he wouldn’t be a grown man talking to Chip and Dale by himself (our other friend bailed on us and went to find food).
Now, my family never had the patience to do the meet and greets with the character actors in the past, so I didn’t have a ton of experience on how to talk to them, especially the ones in mascot suits that can’t talk back to you. When it was our turn to talk to them, I gave Chip a hug and then sort of just hovered around while my friend talked to Dale. I felt so awkward and didn’t really know what to say.
Chip obviously recognized how I was feeling. So he points at my shirt—my Beetlejuice the musical shirt—and starts clapping. I recognized the gesture immediately and went, “oh my god, do you like Beetlejuice?” Chip enthusiastically nods and does a little makeshift zombie walk, which I assume was his way of saying “the whole being dead thing!” As someone who was obsessed with the Beetlejuice musical at the time, the little gesture meant a lot to me. After that we got our picture and left.
What strikes me as remarkable about our interaction is that, as far as I’m aware, the character actors at Disneyland aren’t allowed to acknowledge stuff that exists outside the realm of their movie(s), the park, and Disney as a whole. Princesses will call your phone a magic mirror, etc. This is actually why I wore my Beetlejuice shirt to the park, I got a kick out of letting in an “outsider” in my own little way. So the fact that a character actor broke a hard set rule of the park just for me really made my day.

Anyways I now headcanon that Chip and Dale are huge Beetlejuice stans

Calling U.S. Geeks & Nerds!!! 🇺🇸
Tumblr media
To all my Good Omens friends, @gish folks and anybody who is into @fandomtrumpshate there’s a political fundraiser page you might be interested in. Lynda Carter—the original Wonder Woman herself— is summoning U.S. based geeks and nerds to help raise money and voter participation for Kamala Harris (@kamalahq). Come check it out, tag your fandom, and tell your other nerdy friends! There’s even a competition of Earth based vs Space based fandoms for who can raise the most money. Nerd royalty like @mishacollins and Mark Hamill are behind it! Let’s join in!

I was stalking my friend on pinterest, and I saw that she'd saved a bunch of tattoo designs that are a crossover between the "Disney adult" and "autism mom" aesthetics. Apparently, "Disney autism tattoo" is a popular Google image search. Here are some examples:

Anyway, we all know many people are against Autism Speaks and the puzzle pieces, so I came up with this way better Disney autism tattoo:

can we talk about bullying at cons and how hypocritical it is? you're coming into a safe space meant to be a place where people can be accepted and be themselves without judgement no judgement. you're coming into a place where people can make friends with interests like them and not feel so alone.
and instead of finding some beauty in that and just seeing how cool that is, your purity over not looking "cringe" takes over.
news flash: ANYTHING CAN BE DEEMED CRINGE. CRINGE ISN'T REAL. IT'S A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT. there is nothing that separates any fandom regardless of creator or controversy because the idea of cringe isn't about who is right or wrong, it's about who is the easiest target. nobody who bullied eddie munson fans cared about the duffer brothers controversies or about noah schnapp's comments. they just saw a group of people enjoying each other and bonding over something they deemed embarrassing.
at any second, your fandom could be deemed cringe. any fandom could because fandom as a whole is meant to be a safe space for the cringe and embarrassing.
but some of y'all will say "cringe culture is fake" until it gets to the fandom YOU DON'T PERSONALLY LIKE.
practice kindness. because when people come around and complain about how "fandom isn't fun anymore" i'll think about you and how you laughed at people who liked different ships and different shows than you.
ask yourself if your comments and your intent are meant to call someone out because they're truly harmful or if they aren't harming anyone. we all have a bully in us. don't nurture it.
