counting this one as done! it just needs to be blocked and to have buttons added which i'll do this week. this could've been done way earlier in the month but i kept putting off finishing the second sleeve cuff.

cosine ripple baby blanket by sam godden

yarn: caron skinny cakes in frosted mint

whipped this up for a coworker who's due in august so that i have plenty of time to get it to her before baby arrives. the pattern was really simple and i think it turned out quite cute!

yarn: knit picks palette in bittersweet heather* (mc), lion brand wool-ease in linen & oatmeal, knit picks wool of the andes worsted in haze heather, loops & threads woolike in sage*

still plugging away here. still deciding on if i want to do a split hem but leaning towards yes. also thinking i'll probably fold down the collar - i don't think the mock neck suits me.

Would You Like a Cup of Coffee? (2021)

Давно не смотрела корейские дорамы, тк в большинстве своем они сфокусированные на: романтике/детективах, а также они сильно затянуы как по времени, так и по кол-ву серий. Но смотря списки коротких кдрам (без романтики/мин. кол-вом романтики) я наткнулась на это чудо. Недавно как раз досмотрела её. +: Сьёмка, постановка кадров, цветокор, актерская игра, сюжет, связь между персонажами и их историями, влияние этих событий на состояние героя - 10/10 -: Полу-открытая концовка, пелена загадочности и прошлого 2 главного гг (от чего его поступки в конце 12 серии не дают понять логику принятого решения и результат в финале), пара серий оказались слишком банальными и немного занятнутыми из-за тропа "а давай романтически сведем 2 молодых и поставим их в неловкую ситуацию и посмотрим на их реакцию" Поэтому ставлю этой дораме 8.5 из 10 баллов.

yarn: explorer knits + fibers denali sock in granada (+ olive grove)

finished this little tank a couple weeks ago and ended up getting more length than expected out of the yarn i had. will probably end up making more of these at some point because it was quick and cute but i might size down next time for a bit more negative ease but i didn't check my gauge after blocking so that may have been off.

yarn: knit picks wool of the andes in shire heather

i think this is the oldest sweater quantity of yarn that's just been sitting in my stash and i've always known i wanted it to be a cabled cardigan but could never settle on a pattern. as soon as i saw this one, though, i was in love. i'm also enjoying the process of knitting this a lot more than i thought i would, it's enough to keep my brain engaged but intuitive enough that i'm not constantly having to refer to the chart. love this project!

i didn't touch my lily sheer top because it's been stupid hot and i just cannot be bothered to knit with mohair. also because the book club cardi has taken over.
