So instead, he plugged in his headphones, listening to Great Disaster as he tried to do his reading. Due to low enrollment in their summer internship program, the Wizarding Wireless Network - also known as the WWN - will be holding a recruitment event this Saturday, March 25th. While they hope to up their student involvement, the concert is open to everyone who merely signs up for their online newsletter.

To sweeten the deal, WWN has secured the Dung Beetles to headline the event. For those of you who don’t know, the Dung Beetles are an upcoming indie band led by former solo artist, Barnaby Wolfhart. The group has released two records so far Ghouls of my Dreams and Billywig High and are working on a third, currently untitled album. Their sound has been described by Muggleborns as similar to the Neon Trees.

The open house for the WWN Concert will begin at 5 PM EST on Saturday, March 25th while the concert itself will begin at 7 PM EST. At this point, roleplay members may tag starters with hihevent2 and hiheventstart if they wish to have their characters attend this event. This will be a dash event, but starters made in these tags must be treated as if they are happening in person at the concert. We recommend all starters be posted by Tuesday, March 28th, but characters can keep playing out their threads as long as the like.

Detention with Binns || Clisaac

7th of february 2027, the evening. 

Binn’s classroom

Clara & Isaac are in detention. 

Isaac

Okay, maybe Isaac shouldn’t have been out of bed again. But still, Isaac knew what he was doing, he waited until it was late and most prefects and teachers were back to sleep again. But he wouldn’t have expected professor Binns of all people to still be up. And instead of mumbling about some boring revolution that happened forever ago Binns was actually looking right at him. Binns had never liked Isaac and he probably had some good reasons considering Isaac didn’t like Binns or History of Magic so it hadn’t been the first time he had ended up in his detention.

Untill last year those detention were usually copying some parts of some book which actually worked in his favour. Binns always picked some book from his course and it meant that even when he wasn’t paying attention to what he was writing he was actually taking in some stuff he would have to pretend to learn later otherwise but starting this year he had actually dropped History of Magic making this detention even worse than it could have been. 10 minutes late he walked into Binns classroom and took his usual spot when he had detention with the guy: second last row right in front of Clara McLaggan

Alec Lightwood: Alec’s defining quality is actually his love for his sister and the fact that he’s saltier than the ocean. And he adheres way too strongly to the rules. Maybe Ian or Oscar?

Magnus Bane: Too fabulous for this world is right, although I’m going to go with @greatestollivander for this one though. She’s got the flair for it, Nick isn’t good-hearted enough. Plus, he’d never call anyone biscuit.
