It seems like the older I get, the more irrationally angry casual censorship makes me. And it isn't just the "unalive" "grape" alleged filter-dodging vernacular, but the way normal words will be peppered with asterisks, or screenshots will have words like "gay" "hell" "fuck" etc either partially or entirely blurred. Who is this helping? What is the purpose of it, except to reinforce shame and elevate a flimsy perception of purity and safety, however those things manifest. It's so tiresome and I'm sick of it.

Natural Black Hair Tutorial! Usually Black hair is excluded in the hair tutorials which I have seen so I have gone through it in depth because it’s really not enough to tell someone simply, “Black hair is really curly, draw it really curly.“
The next part of Black Hair In Depth will feature styles and ideas for designing characters and I will release it around February. If you would like to see certain styles, please shoot me a message!

I can’t decide who I think is more insufferable when he’s unwell—Eddie, who’s had to take care of himself mostly alone because Wayne’s always working, or Steve, who’s had to take care of himself mostly alone because his parents aren’t around. Eddie, who doesn’t leave his bed until bodily needs are paramount, or Steve who insists he isn’t sick even when he’s falling over in the shower because he’s too weak to stand that long. Eddie, who wants someone to care for him but has no one to ask, or Steve, who has been denied the care he craves enough times to know it’s not worth asking.

Steddie where the Party keeps walking in on them making out (or at least trying to) all the freaking time.
Steve is sure something is going on because, come on, one time is fine. Two times? Okay, possible. But after the fifth time he and Eddie are interrupted? Nopes, there’s definitely something there.
Eddie says Steve is overreacting; that the kids just have super bad timing, but Steve is not buying it.
And turns out Steve is right to be suspicious. After three weeks of getting interrupted daily (sometimes more than once in a day), Steve drops by the Wheeler’s to pick up Dustin and he sees a whiteboard in the basement. That wouldn’t have caught Steve’s attention if he hadn’t noticed the kids’ names scribbled on the board in Robin’s handwriting, each one of them with a different number of points, as if they’ve been having some kind of competition between them.
And they were having a competition. Whoever interrupted Steve and Eddie the most by the end of the week was in charge of picking the movies for their weekly movie night. It had been Robin’s idea, of course.
