A Good Omens Poem: Elegy

Songs lilt softly, melodies sweet and light

We’re lulled into dreams of a happy end

But where vanished those reds and blues so bright,

Now shadows, making music warp and bend

Portending unimaginable dread

A sinister foe pretends to advise

A voice cracks and chokes on words left unsaid

A knife-sharp love lacerates and unties 

Fierce candles enflamed with fear and with rage

Flicker and melt into a hopeless kiss

Bright songbirds entrapped in a gilded cage

Await their plunge into a dark abyss

What will happen to our heartwarming dreams?

Our fervent wishes for eternal bliss?

Take care with things that are not as they seem

With meanings that may be easy to miss

Hold fast to each other, hold dear and tight

Whisper and comfort, “It will be all right”

Carry each other all through the long night

Keep faith until the nightingale alights

The last several lines were written for and are dedicated to the Good Omens fandom.

She's grown a lot from emergence/newspark size but still has more to go! You can see the beginnings of seams and kibble where her parts and plating will start to branch off. She's going to be a heavy duty industrial frame like Megatron, but her alt has yet to be decided.

Rung for scale. He can't carry her anymore, but that doesn't stop him from trying.

mumbo's backstory won't be in the burny fic. i was thinking of eventually writing it out into a oneshot, but i don't know if or when i will get to that, so i'm definitely open to indulging your curiosity if you want to know! :3

Elegy owning Padre's gun always made a lot of sense, at least to me - they can be considered family after all. It was her main gun way before I had this idea, but then I found that pretty green gun with stickers and my heart melted lol.

During last photoshoot I noticed she still has it on her, and since I had no ideas for photos, I decided to equip it and just do some badass girl with a gun poses :D I love that graphic on the handle - it also goes well with Elegy's latest Valentino inspired fits :3

I do like to imagine that she got the Seraph during one of her casual meetings with Padre, he gave it to her as a symbol of his faith in her (since she got all grown up, doesn't get in as much trouble as she used to, earned some big respect among the gangs AND has a girlfriend she deeply cares for) and as means of protection. You just know she burst out into tears when Padre said he's proud of her :3
