Tears welled up in Clark’s eyes, but he quickly wiped them away, trying to hold himself together. He nodded slowly, though the guilt still weighed heavily on him. “I don’t know how to fix this.”

Jonathan looked at him with a calm but serious expression. “You start by being the person she knows you are. The person we all know you are.”

Clark sat in silence, his mind racing. He knew his parents were right, but the wound inside him was deep. He hadn’t just hurt Y/N physically—he had nearly betrayed everything he stood for, everything he believed in. Yet, as his father had said, Y/N had saved him. Even after all the pain he caused, she had used the last of her strength to free him from the red kryptonite’s hold.

Taking a deep breath, Clark stood up. “I need to see her.”

Jonathan and Martha exchanged a glance but nodded, understanding.

Clark walked slowly into Y/N’s hospital room, the soft beep of monitors filling the quiet space. She lay on the bed, still pale but breathing steadily. He hesitated by the door, afraid to come closer, afraid of the shame that came with seeing her like this—because of him.

But as he stepped closer, Y/N stirred, her eyes fluttering open. She saw him and managed a faint smile, despite the pain. “Clark…”

He moved to her side, kneeling beside the bed, his eyes full of guilt. "I’m so sorry, Y/N. I—"

Y/N reached out weakly and placed her hand over his. "Clark… I know. I know it wasn’t you. It’s okay."

Clark shook his head, tears stinging his eyes. "No, it’s not okay. I could’ve lost you. I almost did… and I’ll never forgive myself for that."

Her fingers squeezed his hand gently. “But you didn’t. I’m still here. And so are you. You won't get rid of me that easily”

Clark lowered his head, his chest tightening. “I’ll never let anything like that happen again. I promise you.”

Y/N smiled, a tired but genuine expression, as she squeezed his hand again. “I believe you…and I have an idea what you can do for me’’

Punch-Out!! In the Super Mario Bros. Movie

Since I’m ill and this fandom has nothing I tried to find all of the Punchy cameos in the SMB movie (Even the leaked images from the concept art, lmao) and I’m not sure if anyone has posted these already but I want these guys on my blog so yea.

So first of all, the Punch-Out!! Pizzeria! I would eat here in a heartbeat (Also I just noticed the continuity error with the bicycle, weird)

There are also framed photos of (bottom left to right) I’m gonna assume Aran for some reason, Doc Louis, Bull (Seemingly his “Does anyone else dare to challenge me!?” pose), Sandman who’s above him, Disco beside “Mac’s gloves,” Little Mac himself, the one in the small yellow frame I can’t make out but beside the clock is Don.

I'd probably throw that fan with Remus in Azkaban for all I care. He got a chance, with THE ideal potion but bitches it for Sirius. And people LOVE that. He forgot for Sirius for those sick wolfstar fans that shoehorn that into something romantic.

Nothing is wrong with that ship, but people, at least be somewhat realistic. If Snape hasn't done a thing, Dumbledore who can use legillimens like many OTHER (*ahem* discriminating) wizards and witches would've seen what happened if the golden trio met the wrong kind of nosy ass magical people.

This is Remus his fault. Not Snape's, not dumbles, not Voldemort, not Sirius, not golden trio, not de or anyone else matter of fact. Remus Frickin Lupin fucked it up himself.

Remus fans act as if Severus himself made lupin the way he was and get more hate than Fenrir greyback himself. Disgusting fucking fans. Honestly, the characters are loveable without such psychotic fans surrounding said canonically shitty characters.

You come home from the markets to find the Tower quiet. It’s not unusual, your wizard is partial to getting lost in ancient tomes and weathered parchments, not to mention the stresses that come with his job at Blackstaff. In fact, he’d had his nose in a book since first thing that morning and had hardly looked away when he asked you to run to the markets for him. You’d thought he’d been joking at first, but it seemed Gale hadn’t remembered the significance of the day and just needed a few potion making supplies from a vendor on the far side of the city. A chore that takes all day and you are just making it back now at dusk. Even now you swallow the bitter sting in your throat that threatens to turn to tears and remind yourself that he is a very busy man, and you hadn’t reminded him that today is your birthday.

But it is unusually quiet within the tower — you don’t hear the sweet tinkling of the piano he listens to while he works, the bubbling of potions, or even the voice of Tara welcoming you back home. You can’t help but feel sad.

The heavy front door swings to a close behind you and you enter the familiar darkened foyer. With a deep breath you lock the door behind you and turn to face your surroundings, the tears that you’d been fighting back begin to spill freely down your face. There on the hall table, waits a dozen red roses swirling with a shimmering glitter — the weave clearly preserving them in their moment of perfection. A dress box with a simple bow sits in front of them with a note on it in familiar handwriting. It reads,

“My love, My humble personage requests the presence of your divine beauty for dinner this evening. If you would do me the honor of wearing this and following the rose petals, I will meet you presently.

You smile at the joke in his postscript through the tears in your eyes, remembering the silly simulacrum who had met you at Gale’s tent in the Shadow Cursed Lands. Wiping at your face, you set down the note and open the box with an excited gasp. The dress that awaits you is the most beautiful piece of clothing you’d ever seen in your life and in your favorite color. You weren’t sure how he’d picked out such a beautiful gown, maybe he’d asked Astarion for his help — the vampire did have the most fabulous taste in fabrics.

You excitedly change clothes while touching up your hair and makeup. Gale had truly thought of everything and left a mirror and your beauty supplies on a nearby side table. Catching a glimpse of yourself in the mirror makes you gasp — you look like royalty. Following the rose petals down the hall and up the stairs is easy, they sparkle with the same bits of weave as the roses in the hall vase. If there is a downside to living in a wizard tower it is the stairs and while you’re not sure where this trail leads, the dress wasn’t easy to ascend them all in.

On the landing between stairs the trail stops again, and you find a single rose on top of a velvet jewelry box. Another note awaits you, this one much shorter:

“I believe this might help, my love. Yours -Gale Ps- when you’ve put it on, simply speak the incantation I’ve written below”

Within the box is a beautiful necklace, a large clear peridot sparkled in a silver setting that seemed elven in nature — the flawless vines of silver that held the stone were too fine to be anything else. The pendant was on a silver chain and had the familiar sparkle of magic to it, not surprising considering Gale’s note. You wonder what he could possibly have in store, but the anxiety is short-lived. If Gale had proven anything to you in your time together it was his absolute devotion. You knew you were safe.

Once the necklace is on, you speak the incantation that Gale provided. Instantaneously, you are surrounded by the smell of rose water and your beloved wizard. You can no longer feel the ground beneath your feet, but you feel safe and secure in the arms of Gale’s magic as the spell works its magic. Seconds later you feel the ground beneath your feet once more and you open your eyes to find Gale standing before you on the Tower balcony. His eyes widen and his breath catches when he sees you in the dress and necklace he’d chosen for you.

“H-Happy Birthday my love, you look…” He struggles and gapes at you as his eyes rake hungrily over your form, “You look ravishing, you a visage of the most divine beauty and I find myself hardly worthy to look upon it.”

He drops to his knees before you, gently grabbing your hand and kissing the back of your palm like a lord swearing fealty to their king. You begin to pull him to standing, hungry for a kiss when you fully take in your surroundings. Once again, your eyes fill with tears as you take it in. A candlelit dinner has been laid out on a grand table. The food is clearly Gale’s handiwork and features all your favorites and a few sweet treats as well. Bottles of wine have been uncorked and await you. Knowing the way he loved to spoil you they were likely some of the finest bottles he had in reserves.

Magical lights, lanterns, and candles float in the air all around you — giving the entire area the most romantic glow against the night. And above it all you see the night sky. Your jaw drops when you fully look at the sky. You throw your arms around Gale who has stood back up with a grin. If the night sky he had conjured for you in the Shadow Cursed Lands was a love song, this one could only be an entire symphony of the deepest and most profound love, crafted just for you.

“I had to make your first birthday at home in Waterdeep special, my love” Gale whispers into your hairline, still holding you tight within his arms and leaving a tender kiss on your forehead.

“I thought you had forgotten,” you say— your voice is almost raspy with emotion.

“Forget you? Never. But please forgive my deception, my dear”

You can only nod in response, tears running down your face as you both sway in the safe embrace of one another. This night is perfect, and you are so happy to be home.

Jason Todd assumed Gothamites didn't have souls let alone soulmates, so when he as Robin saves a girl from thugs attacking her school he is shocked when their eyes meet and the world is suddenly a vibrant rainbow. Before they can speak she passes out and he decides to keep her safe he has to watch from afar. Until he dies.

You saw Robin and you saw color. You knew it must be dangerous to be Robin so you let him stay away, hoping someday you could meet and at least hear his voice. Then, it's all black and white again and you mourn the loss of a soulmate you never knew.

A year later you wake up and the world is back in color. You are confused and frightened, not sure what is happening, but you know one thing, you accepted your soulmate hiding before, but now you would find him.

I thought how crazy it would drive someone to first know their soulmate is a masked vigilante, then they die and everything is back to black and white, and then its color again. The first day of high school could be a lot of things. The day you met a new friend, the day you get a lunch tray dropped on you, the day you have a mortifying wardrobe malfunction. What it shouldn't be was the day you almost die AND meet your soulmate. One or the other, not both. However, your life always seemed unnecessarily complicated so when a pair of armed thugs arrived, taking teachers hostage and diligently searching lockers and bags it shouldn't have surprised you. Honestly, it didn't surprise you when they found what they were looking for inside your backpack. You knew your foster dad was shady, shady enough to try and steal money from Two-Face and hide it in your bag like the coward he was. The minions took you, kicking and screaming, out a side door, dragging you by your hair. You tried to fight, swinging wildly and trying to pull away, yelping when you were yanked back easily.

"What are we taking her for? She's just some snot-nosed kid," one of the thugs said, looking around warily. "We don't have time to take a hostage, the Batman's out early today." The other minion scoffed, yanking again on your hair.

"I'm not scared of that psycho, and I want a new plaything, this one looks fun," he said. "A little young normally but she's filling out well." You felt sick rise in your throat at what he had planned for you. He pulled you ahead of the other attacker, letting him fall back to watch his back. You were rounding the side of the school towards the alley, certain you were going to horribly mutilated and murdered, when you swore you saw a shadow amidst the dumpsters.

Then you heard the other thug collapse, grunting. You tried to turn and look, worried that some other gang was coming to join the fun, but the one holding your hair threw you. Your head rocked against the brick wall of the school. You muttered out a curse as you sat down, starting to see black engulfing you, when you made contact with Robin. Before you lost consciousness you saw it, his eyes suddenly in full color, then you succumbed.

Gotham wasn't the place Jason thought he would find a soulmate. He didn't he'd ever see color in the world. Between the rich trying to buy, sell, or steal anything and everything their sick hearts' desired and the criminals who would kill you on sight just for fun he was surprised anyone, including himself, has a soul to begin with. So when black and white suddenly became color he froze, almost missing the fist coming for him face. Almost. His dodge was late, the thugs punch grazing his cheek, not enough to knock him down but enough that he felt pain in his jaw. He still recovered before the attack, throwing his own punch that was reinforced with black brass knuckles, landing true right to side of the thug's head, knocking the man down and out.

Batman looked at him, gaze dark. He dropped the other attacker on top of the first, grabbing the backpack and getting the money from it. They had been tracking this cash, needing it collected before the toxin that it was doused in caused anyone to start laughing. He promptly lit the stack on fire, making sure it burned to ash, while Jason picked up the girl and took her out of the alley, nearer to the school. He waved down the GCPD that was there and saw two officers come running, waving for an ambulance to follow them down the street. He took one more glance at her, his soulmate, before going back to the alley. Batman motioned to the building next to them and Jason followed, grappling to the roof and landing just after Batman, knowing he was going to get chewed out for at least two things.

"Brass knuckles Robin?" Batman asked. "Those are something you aren't able to use properly yet." Jason glared, but bit his tongue. Better a tongue lashing now than extra training drills in the evening. "And what happened back there? You hesitated, that isn't like you." Jason didn't answer again. The last thing he needed was Batman knowing that the world wasn't in shades of gray for Jason anymore. He could see the red of the bricks of the school, he had seen the brown in your eyes, and the auburn of your hair. He had no idea what these colors were actually called, he would have to borrow the flashcards Dick had bought when he'd met Barbara. "Start talking Robin."

"The brass knuckles are helpful, I didn't need to use more energy to take out that guy who is literally twice my size," he said. He hated to remember that while Batman was fully grown, in his mid-30s, and the peak of his physical self, Jason was still just 16, a little scrawny despite his weight training, and maybe had some growing to do. "And I don't know why I hesitated, maybe it was seeing a kid my own age almost getting her head smashed in." He was watching the EMTs carting her to the ambulance. He felt the need to follow them, make sure she was safe. He wanted to find her tomorrow and talk to her, hear what she sounded like when she wasn't screaming. Batman watched Jason as he watched the girl they saved. Something was up, but he wasn't sure what. They weren't in an area of town that Jason had ever lived, nor did he go there when he wasn't Robin so he didn't know the girl. He would have to keep an eye on his sidekick. For now he just told him to go home. He would do one last sweep of the city and make sure the tainted cash was all collected and destroyed.

Jason should have gone back to the manor, but instead he followed the ambulance to Gotham General, perching on the roof. He watched them drive inside and wished he had a change of clothes, he could at least sneak in easier. He moved to the access stairs and headed down, keeping to the quieter hallways and stairwells until he was able to find her. She was still unconscious, though it looked medicinal now. He stared at her, memorizing her face, counting every freckle, watching her chest go up and down as she slept. He heard voices in the hallway and looked back at her for a moment, silently promising her that she would safe from now on, he would make sure of it. He disappeared into a vent, heading back outside and starting back towards the manor. After about three blocks he knew that Nightwing had found him, so he stopped, waiting for his big brother to catch up.

"Batman wanted me to keep track of you little bird," Nightwing said. Jason rolled his eyes at the name but didn't say anything. It secretly made him feel special, hearing his brother call him a nickname. "So who was the girl?" It figures he had seen him in the hospital room.

"We just saved her from some of Two-Faces bitches at Gotham North high school," he said. "The asshole threw her into a wall, I looked at her and her eyes, they're the most beautiful color I've ever seen." Nightwing's eyebrows got high enough that Jason saw them peeking out of his mask.

"Going to need those flashcards, did you tell Batman?" Nightwing asked. Jason shook his head. "I get it, but he should know..."

"No Dick," Jason said. He knew that Batman would have him running laps around the grounds until he collapsed if he heard Jason calling Dick by his mortal name, but right now he needed his brother to understand how serious he was. Jason didn't want Batman to know, didn't need Batman or Bruce Wayne worrying about him, about what finding his soulmate might do to him. He would be considered a liability, too young to handle the responsibility, balance the need to see her, to protect her, with the need to keep Gotham safe. Dick had already been Nightwing when Barbara had come along, Bruce had simply told him to not let the soulmate urges distract him, and that had been enough. Jason was younger, more reckless, more unpredictable and Bruce would be waiting for him to screw up, another thing to add to the list of things Jason didn't do as well as Dick with.

"He will figure it out," Dick said. Jason stood up and shook his head, grappling away, wanting to get back home and get a shower before patrol tonight. He needed to think.

You started learning the names of colors as soon as you got home. It was amazing, seeing everything the world had to offer, so much beauty and so bright. But nothing could drive the image of Robin's eyes out of your mind. You knew that he probably hadn't come back to see you again because he was Robin. No one knew who Batman, Robin, or Nightwing were and despite being soulmates its not like he knew you, knew he could trust you. So you went about your life, telling only your closest friends that you had a soulmate. The documentary was just changing to the ocean, your favorite part, when suddenly the world went back to black and white. Your breath stopped, eyes getting wide. You blinked once, twice, three times, but it stayed black and white. You stood, wanting to run out the door, find Robin, but you couldn't, you had no idea where he might be. You knew what had happened, the world only went back to black and white when your soulmate died. You couldn't believe this. You'd never even heard his voice and now you never would. You collapsed on your floor, tears streaming down at the future you had been imagining, all of it crashing down around you. Your parents found you like this, inconsolable, and despite not wanting to go back to the group home that's where you were taken a few days later, the world still dull and gray.

You spent the next year in gray, unable to bring yourself back to the person you had been before. You bounced around homes, therapy seeming useless for you, new parents not sure how to draw you out of your depression. Your friends told you about support groups for people who lost their soulmates, people who could help you recover, but you didn't want to. You wanted to hear his voice, feels his hand, know what his name was. It wasn't fair, nothing in your life seemed fair. You went to bed every night with dried tears on your cheeks.

Until, one day, you woke up, and the color was back.

Part 3 of Martyn conspiracies! :D (it’s honestly pretty funny who the only I have been really talking about is the guy who hasn’t even been introduced into the Au yet *not until the next update*)

So, why do I think Martyn is or was in the vigilance? I have a few pretty solid reasons.

I have mentioned in earlier posts how I believe Martyn is connected to the Mimic. I’m not going to go into too much detail on this reason. If you want more detail go to my lastest post.

Purple. I believe that the color purple is associated with the vigilance. (I know CG is in pink but I feel as though that it is that way because IN REAL HERMITCRAFT he was pink. Would have Doody and Maruu made him purple otherwise? No idea, but me further explain about the purple) When we do see other people from the vigilance such as, obviously, the mimic and CeeCee. Don’t remember the name CeeCee, don’t worry I forgot too, and I had to do some serious digging around for it.

(Ceecee is the one with the fungus powers that ‘corrupted’ Grian in the most recent updates) In my opinion Doody did say that:

*I really don’t think of The Nexus group as “villains” sure they may have controlled Grian against his will. But they are (I’m assuming so far but it’s a bit early to tell) fighting for a good cause and going against a flawed government.*

SO BACK TO PURPLE XD! We know that the Mimic and Ceecee are purple, representing Nexus as such. What does this have to do with Martyn? He wears green. WELL! In one of Doody’s post they show and talk about everyone’s phone and their backgrounds. On Grian’s background we see Grian in pink (what a queen), and 4 others

see who Martyn (and bigB but we will talk about him in a later time) is wearing purple. Which I believe represents the Nexus. So this could mean he is (or was) a part of Nexus. He is wearing green now, so idk, my bets are on that he left but we have no way of knowing this early.

So you might've heard that the part of fortune in our chart shows us where we experience luck and that it's how we can become rich by embodying the traits of the sign its in, well...not quite, that's taking away the traits of jupiter, so if you wanna know more about that look at your jupiter placement by sign, house and aspects. The part of fortune can NOT tell you how you can become richer and successful in life, in fact the part of fortune and the sign its in shows us the fortunate circumstances we might experience/encounter in our life. Sign, aspect and house placement can all color how this placement plays out. Ps: I don't associate the zodiac signs with things that are objectively good or bad like westerner astrologers do. I won't say "pof is libra and Libra rules venus so that means your circumstances are good and you'll experience venus things 🥰😍😜🤪" or "pof is in capricorn and capricorn is ruled by saturn so that means your circumstances are bad, evil and restricting, you'll experience saturn things😤🥺😫😣" not only is that misleading but it's also too surface level for me to operate. The signs don't just get their meanings from their rulers, they also get their meanings from the way we live our lives, the everyday things we do like taking care of ourselves(taurus), going to work(capricorn), fighting for a cause(aquarius), being in a relationship (libra) ect. EX: Pof in capricorn can ACTUALLY talk about experiencing alot of fortunate circumstances in your career and this can be amplified for you if it sits next to or conjunct planets like venus or jupiter. Saturn conjunct the POF will NOT mean the same thing as having POF in capricorn and the sign its in won't tell you everything because a challenging aspect can dramatically change how it plays out

out of curiosity, what was clarissa's original eidolon's (locks of love?) ability ps i know this is like 7 months since and you might have a reason to not want to (totally understandable) but would love to look through the gm notes for your campaign!

WAUGH i missed this by like a week sorryyyyyyy hope you see this! i've been meaning to actually type up those notes and this is a great little kick to start doing some of that tonight.

anyways, for now, here's my notes about that, since it did end up coming up in the final fight!

clarissa | locks of love

[my eidolon can freeze objects and concepts]

that is, she can retain things in their current states, selectively. simply, it could lock an object in its current position. but it could also freeze its velocity, keeping it on a constant trajectory. or, maybe, it could lock down other properties, like color, orientation, etc. it's a power about selective stasis.

both locks of love and broken windows are reflections of clarissa's desperate attempts to retain her interpersonal relationships. locks of love wants everything to remain the same; broken windows wants to people-please, to be the perfect shadow, the kind of person who only serves and is too good to leave. both of these are futile attempts for her. this is not a part of life that can be prevented. but she oh-so tries.

appearence wise, locks of love is pink and gold, kind of a base pink metallic armor (touchstone: crazy diamond), with gold filigree of lock motifs. when it appeared in-campaign, this form re-formed over broken windows, which was intended to be the shattered inner-creature of the eidolon. by the end, clarissa was able to recover to her old eidolon. in a way, broken windows was essentially a multi-year phantom fight for her, that she just gave up on and accepted. really one of my favorite characters! thanks for asking!

Life update -

Hi, sorry for being MIA for a while and I'll try to update here more frequently. Here's a general update of what I've been up to.

Changed my Tumblr name from studywithmeblr to raptorstudiesstuff. Changed my blog name as well. I don't feel comfortable putting my real name on my social media platforms so I'm going by 'Raptor' now.

💻 Finished the Machine Learning-2 and Unsupervised Learning module along with projects. Got a pretty good grade in both of them and my overall grade went up a bit.

📝 Started applying for data science internships and jobs but got rejected from most of the companies I applied to... 😬

I'll start applying again in a week or two with a new resume. Let me know any tips I can use to not get rejected. 😅

💻 Started SQL last week and really enjoying it. I did get a bad grade on an assignment though. Hope I can make up for it in the final quiz. 🤞

🏥 Work has been alright. We're a little less staffed than usual this week but I'm trying not to stress too much about it.

📖 Currently reading Discworld #1 - The Color of Magic. More than halfway through.

📺 Re-watched the Lord of The Rings movies and now I'm compelled to read the books or rewatch the Hobbit movies.

"There's good in this world, Mr Frodo, and it's worth fighting for." This scene had me in tears and I really needed to hear that..

📺 Watched the first 4 episodes of First Kill on Netflix and I don't know what I was doing to myself. The writing and dialogue is so cheesy and terrible. The acting is okay-ish. It's so bad that it turned out to be quite hilarious. Laughed the whole time.

🎧 Discovered a new (for me) song that I'm obsessed with right now - Mirrors by Justin Timberlake.

📷 Took some really cool pics on my camera..

Might start the 100 days productivity challenge soon as that is the only way I find myself to be consistent.
