i cannot stop thinking about sevika continuing to be silco's dog even after his death. leaving his seat empty at the desk, when will you come back home? how she clings to the orders she's been given, even though he's not there anymore to enforce them. like a wounded animal, she bares her teeth at jinx at first, until she sees she's just a broken pup, where she immediately turns jinx into an extension of silco, someone to protect, someone to serve.

also thinking how jinx is both silco to her, a master stand-in, and a little bit how she slowly might also fall into the "is there anything as undoing as a daughter" pit that runs as the undercurrent to most of this story (though again, is it her autonomous action or because it was silco's daughter first?)

Everyday I think about the fact that Kalim clearly lied to his and Jamil’s families about the reason why Jamil overblotted to protect him 

Everyday I think about the fact that Kalim defended Jamil against people who wanted to throw him out and took responsibility for being a contributing factor in Jamil’s overblot.

Everyday I think about the fact that Kalim had an inkling of a thought that Jamil was using his signature spell on him, and even under Jade’s spell, he didn’t reveal it was Jamil. 

Everyday I think about the fact that Kalim was very willing to just believe that he was blacking out and Jamil wasn’t manipulating him if Jamil just said so. He’d rather believe a lie he knew wasn’t true then acknowledge that the one person he thought he could trust was doing this to him. 

Kalim does not play when it comes to Jamil.

one thing that i’m always just begging for is one of the OG Dads (granddads) to look at one of the grandkids and just go “Oh you must be Henry’s/Darryl’s/Ron’s/Glenn’s grandkid” OR JUST AS IMPORTANTLY “oh you must be Sparrow/Lark’s/Terry’s/Grant’s/Nick’s kid”. I want the dads to recognize their friends in their descendants. I want them to recognize their friends KIDS in their descendants. I want them to see them still creeping through the next generation. I want them to say it like it’s so obvious, like it’s so easy to recognize parts of their longtime friends in their family

and while we're on the topic of jace dying & coming back one thing i cant stop thinking about since rereading tmi is just how many people died to save jace. like in tftsa and tda it keeps being reiterated that SO many people died during the events of tmi their society basically cannot function normally and the only reason why all of that happened is not just bc clary revived jace but mostly because the gang refused to kill him when he was connected to sebastian, a refusal which they KNEW could (and did) cause thousands of deaths. and then at the end they were like "we did it! we proved the clave wrong! we saved the world AND jace!" well no you mainly just saved jace. but I love him too so it's fine

And Barry in this world, ends up in the criminal sphere, and he is partners with Mick. But not quite the same master thief type thing that Mick and Snart were in the main universe, tho def illegal measures taken nonetheless

With Barry and Snart being the same kind of rivals they were in the show, but get this

Barry is still the one trying to "save" Snart, from his issues, while not addressing his own. While Snart keeps the line with Barry open because he sees that Barry is trying to do good, just in not so good ways, and sees Barry as someone worth not giving up on just yet
