Can any world survive a benevolent god?
@foggyoutline presents:
Cover art by Dionysis Livanis
Produced by @wirelesstheatre
In this original audio drama podcast, each episode is a prayer, some prayers are answered, and a prayer granted can upend the world.
For fans of
Each episode of I Need A Miracle is a short monologue. A new character every episode. Never the same character twice. Always addressing a plea to a listening deity – which never makes a sound.
Play god
You, the listener, stand in for a silently listening god. Hear brazen demands for divine intervention and vulnerable, secret pleas for deliverance. Whose requests would you grant and why? Does anyone deserve a miracle?
Play detective
Which pleas are granted? How does the listening being decide? What are the Upheavals that regularly wrack this world? What threatens to rise from the Depths? And can any being with ultimate power truly be benevolent?
Play the heartstrings
I Need A Miracle is all about the many kinds of wanting, and the many ways of asking for help. How would you make your case to an omnipotent being who grants some miracles but not others, based on ineffable criteria?
Coming August 2024

Auditions- Artemis Fowl II
The Artemis Fowl Incident report is a none profit creative project recording an audio adaption of book one of the Artemis Fowl series (which Disney famously bungled, but I'm totally not bitter (they said bitterly).
Any auditions should be emailed to: [email protected].
Casting requirements: Youthful, adolescent, somewhat haughty/arrogant voice, possibly young boy/woman with androgynous voice range. Ability to speak in a variety of accents (notably Irish/British) and with very clear enunciation. Gravitas and authority juxtaposed with age is what we’re looking for. Somewhat of a large range of emotion and modulation needed. Examples include the Ciel Phantomhive English dubbing VA.
Audition lines:
Remember this? You gave it to me for ensuring your trigger finger got reattached to your hand. You said it would remind me of that spark of decency inside me. I’m trying to do something decent now, Captain.
The problem is that I know the textbook answers to any question you care to ask.
“You hit me,” he said in disbelief.

Podcast Recommendations: What's the best podcast for a road trip?
Hello friends! For the last four years, I have been making commutes to and from my university for the breaks. The car ride either way is about 2.5 hours so I've tried my fair share of podcasts to keep me entertained. The biggest problem I've found? Volume. The highway is loud, cars are loud, and not every podcast is. So, for all my fellow serial roadtrippers out there, here are some of the best podcasts I've found for making that car ride feel a little shorter!
Wolf 359
A certified classic. Wolf 359 is a special podcast for me for many reasons but the audio levels really stand up against the road. The back-and-forth banter and elite humor of the characters really keeps me locked into what's happening while not distracting me from the road, a perfect balance! It's also a longer podcast, which I like for the road since it means I don't run out of content halfway through the drive.
Forgive Me!
Forgive Me! is a newer show for me but one I've really been enjoying. I think comedy podcasts are the best ones for me to drive with since I can develop a good balance between focusing on the podcast and the road. I've had to turn the volume up a few times for Forgive Me! but not drastically so. I will say if you're going to listen to this one make sure you queue up what you want to listen to since they have a lot of crossovers, I personally just like the main plot on road trips, but to each their own!
The Magnus Archives
I will say, The Magnus Archives can be 50/50. Audio quality? Superb. They make the quiet moments sound quiet but I can still hear it over the road? Magic. John's little pauses let me listen to my car to make sure nothing's wrong (I have an old car), it's a perfect system! But as every TMA fan will tell you, some statements are better than others. Listen at your own discretion and make sure you queue up what you want to listen to (if you want to skip a statement, take it out of the queue! You cannot skip it going 70MPH)
Midnight Burger
I don't think I would've become a Midnight Burger fan had it not been for my car rides to and from school. The dialogue is great against the road and the plot is heavy but not too heavy you'll miss details if you're trying to switch lanes. I can't recommend Midnight Burger enough, but it's definitely one you'll want to queue, there is a LOT of bonus content to sift through.
These podcasts are pretty mainstream, so no groundbreaking recommendations, but these are the ones that have stood the test of the highway. Please feel free to add your favorite 'road trip proof' podcast if I haven't listed it!

🎉WE ARE BACK BBY!🎉
After an unplanned hiatus (and more personal plot twists than the average AO3 writers life updates. If ya know, ya know) we are finally back in some amount of order with the Artemis Fowl Incident Report Podcast!
We are now starting the process of looking for suitable voice actors for the project, for which I will let Arrow's explain
~~~
hello! this is arrows from the artemis fowl: incident report project. since we're planning a revival of the podcast, we're currently looking for volunteers to help voice act for us. we are looking for many roles (such as the leads, artemis and holly, and supporting background voices) so there's honestly probably one that's a fit for you
you can check out the casting requirements here in this handy little hyperlink.
feel free to send in the voice lines to our email ([email protected]) as one mp4 file, with a few seconds break between delivering each line, and let us know other secondary role choices you'd like to be considered for
this is an unpaid opportunity as af:ir is a passion project. thank you for your continued support and we hope to see this podcast through ^-^
During our crowdfunder, we wanted to take some time to highlight the wonderful cast and crew that have joined us or returned for season 2!
Today we wanted to highlight Lou Sutcliffe, who has agreed to join in this season as an additional voice! If you've listened to other indie audio dramas, you've almost definitely come across em before, and we are excited for em to join us this season!
Lou Sutcliffe is a nonbinary autistic audio sorceror from the north-west of England. Their audiofiction productions include the Pantaloon Society, a 12 part serial about clowns with supernatural powers, and maritime fantasy Eeler's Choice, which they co-wrote and composed the sea shanties for. When not scribbling nautical earworms they can be heard occasionally popping up in other audiodrama productions such as the Kingmaker Histories, Submitted for the Approval of the Midnight Society and the Silt Verses. By day they are a data scientist, undisputed monarch of a petty kingdom of spreadsheets. They live in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and refuse to leave unless enticed away with the promise of LARP. You can find them on twitter/bsky as @loujsutcliffe, tumblr as @doctorloup and in far too many discord servers for any reasonable person.
Shadow (he/him) is a sixteen-year-old distinguished gentleman. His hobbies include lying on the outside patio, snuggling in bed, and demanding pieces of cheese from charcuterie boards. He is thrilled to be making his voice acting debut as Crumble in *You are the Ghost in This House.*
Loki is a 6 year old talkative cuddly baby. He loves to snuggle in blankets, type on keyboards, and steal cheese from the fridge. He loves to purr and cuddle and cant wait for his chatting to make it into an audio drama!
Mochi Ice Cream Clark is a diva of the first order with a passion for bags and shoes. She brings to this role her experience learning lines (see photo), playing with ghost cats, biting knees (before Moo Deng made it cool), and meowing at doors, both closed and open. She enjoys playing TTRPGs (rolling dice), indulging in catnip recreationally, and watching Game of Thrones.
