Talia should swagger into the Batcave without warning and slam down a jar on the table in front of Tim. The jar, of course, contains his spleen. Tim is relieved to see Talia went on the mission he sent her on and thus was not blown to pieces. The spleen jar is both a sort of truce offering and a ‘you are a large threat and I want to stay in your good graces’ gift. Everyone else is confused but Tim refuses to elaborate or even tell them what’s in the jar.

Summary: An AU where Tim was imprisoned by Black Mask for most of his adolescence, trained to be his successor. His reintroduction to Gotham - and to Gotham's vigilantes - could go a little smoother. At least enough of his morality sticks around that he can probably consider himself safe from being a supervillain. Though he isn't quite sure he qualifies for "superhero," either.

A while ago I had written a Deadwood/ McLennon AU on Ao3.

Main premise of the fic evolved into an OC novel I decided to develop. Therefore I removed it and it was left incomplete.

The OC story has moved into a different direction and I'm tempted to repost and possibly finish the fic.

Sorry I’m a bit late posting this, I just got back from watching ATSV.  It’s just as good and everyone has been shouting about and I don’t know why it took me so long to getting around to watching the movies.  Anyway, on to the fics!

It was so rainy this morning!  It pretty much rained the entire time I was birding.  Got so cool pictures though!

The baby geese, they are growing up!  They are looking more and more like adult geese everyday:

Wasn’t able to get a good picture of this guy, but it’s a brown thrasher!  This is the second time I’ve seen him running around the area:

There were SO MANY swallows out flying around.  They kept flying around me, they were so much fun to watch!  And they’re SO PRETTY too.  I tried to take some pictures of them in flight, but it’s SO HARD.  This one is ok, I need to practice more.  This guy is a barn swallow:

OMG.  I didn’t realize this until I got home, but these are juvenile eastern bluebirds!!  Wow!!!

Wash My Dreams Away - yes, i know this fic is abandoned BUT it was a fave to write because it was very sel indulgent to me, and I had fun writing it, so even if i'm never going to give it a conclusion, i'm happy with it.

down by the river - A raphael longfic, I really liked building the relationship between Tav and Raphael, and especially between Tav and the other companions. It was fun while it lasted, even if I had to take a major break from it halfway through but I managed to get to the ending and i'm glad that the bold ass ending I gave to the story was well received.

send nudes - the Raphael one shot I come back the most to, especially when I need a good laugh. it's short, its funny and it was lowkey a group effort kkkkk

Lesson Learned - A Minthara non-con one shot that is the only smut I ever enjoyed writing. I wrote everything in one night, like this fic possessed me, even thought it gets into some dark subject matters, I really enjoyed writing it.

Mercy - there's too many Minthara and Galatea one shots I wish i could put here but I'm choosing this one cause that conversation between the two was something that was on my mind for a long time and I'm really satisfied with how it turned out, I think I did a pretty good job on the characterization of both of them (which might be weird to say bc one of them is my oc but regardless) and I liked writing something that was before their relationship began.

Jennifer Jareau was sitting at the bar with Derek Morgan. They’d had a very long day and just needed to take the edge off. They were partners in the FBI, both working hard and paying their dues. They weren’t talking at the moment. They didn’t need to. They had been partners for so long that words just weren’t needed most of the time. JJ sipped her glass of white wine and turned to Derek, opened her mouth to say something, and heard a voice behind her.

“Hey there, did it hurt when you fell from heaven?” With a frown JJ turned to face the voice and saw a very pretty brunette with a cute, pointed nose. She looked very proud of herself for the line. JJ frowned. Behind her Derek rolled his eyes and shook his head.

JJ had never met this woman before so she didn’t exactly know how to take the…extremely terrible line. She subtley looked the woman over before speaking. “I hope you didn’t think about that one for too long,” she said. “Because I’m no angel.” The woman nodded approvingly.

“Then you sound like my kinda woman.”

JJ narrowed her eyes slightly. “Does this work for you?” She could hear Derek snickering behind her. The woman faltered.

“Usually, yes.”

Nodding and raising her brows, JJ lifted her glass to her lips. “Not tonight.” She sipped her wine.

“I could go and come back with another one.” The woman stepped closer. “Make it worth the wait.” JJ looked at her again. She was smirking as if she already knew she could win her over. It was…cute, actually. JJ wondered…how many times would she try?

“Yeah…” JJ said slowly. “Try again.” When the woman left, Derek nudged JJ in the arm.

“You really gonna fall for that?”

JJ let out a snort. “No, I just want to see how many pickup lines we get to hear.”

No thoughts just emergency services working with the bats. Police using a radio frequency they know the bats listen in on to tell them about a car chase so they can keep track of the vehicle. Batman talking to firefighters and checking how many people are left in the building. Batgirl helping people come out of shock. Nightwing doing CPR until the paramedics arrive. Red Robin fishing someone out of the bay and keeping them warm while they wait. Spoiler giving information to detectives and working with undercover cops. Robin comforting children while they wait to talk to police. Red Hood treating drug overdoses and calling for ambulances. Orphan dragging people out of car wrecks before their vehicles explode. Signal transporting supplies for ambulances and hospitals. All of them coordinating with emergency services after tragedies: working with police and fire fighters to find people and bodies, using flares and flashlights to guide people out of danger, recovering pets and documents from collapsing homes, dragging debris off the roads so ambulances can reach people, helping aid relief hand out food and water and blankets and baby formula

i finally figured out the name for the kingdom in my royalty au. i can never seem to let the blackbird motifs go when referencing kurt so i’m naming the kingdom “Merula” which is simply the Latin word for “Blackbird”
