The original piece was actually of them older lol. But that was a few months ago and my painting style has changed quite a bit since then. Having played and finished the remake of Crisis Core, it felt more fitting to draw our two precious country bois younger with the determination to become the heroes we all know them as! 

Anywho, thank you for patiently being there during my slower art progressions, as I am taking a ton of art classes through Coloso and trying to produce better art for myself and for everyone else! :)

I love how Genesis is enough of a drama queen that it’s fully believable that he’ll soliloquy to Sephiroth to demand cells, instead of stealing the man’s hairbrush or a waterbottle he used that’ll have saliva.

Though tbh it would be pretty funny if he shows up in the remake and it’s like, “How?!” “If I’m being perfectly honest, after Sephiroth turned down my offer to join me, I merely borrowed some of his personal effects that happened to have the DNA I needed. Pity I had to use such a low brow method though.”
