my roman empire is the fact that zack morris and lisa turtle were all set up to become a couple in the last season of saved by the bell and already had amazing chemistry since mark-paul and lark (the actors) were together irl but due to backlash, the storyline only lasted for a single episode and their relationship was retconned and forgotten about in the very next one. a plotline was even used later on where lisa assumed zack liked her but instead liked tori (who was not a necessary character in the first place). i think about this a lot.

anyways i just gave up and skipped forward to the last episode of the seventh season only to find out that the only thing that kept me clinging to the show barely became cannon??

like yeah they kiss but by then they should've been married? or at least dating??

ik that they are married (or living together i dunno) in the revival but from what i've heard the rest of it is pretty bad so it doesn't rly pay off
