Final Fantasy VII prompt

Time travelling Hojo

Instead of Sephiroth travelling through time or Cloud and his friends getting sent back through some circumstance or other, why not Hojo?

Everyone likes a good happy end, but once in a while you have to destroy everything even more just for a little bit of excitement. But even in such a case there could still be hope.

Hojo, at the end of his life or already dead, gets thrown back in time, with all the knowledge he amassed in his experiments and knowing what will happen. He knows who the key players, in the destruction of his greatest work, are and has also a few theories he never got to prove.

So he optimizes the outcome.

He still experiments on Sephiroth of course, but he can make him even stronger this time around, learning from past mistakes.

As for Cloud, that boy won't be a problem this time around. Hojo can either kill him outright while he is still young or he can start his experimentation on Cloud early and prove the Reunion theory is correct, since he knows Cloud was at least a partial success the last time. Even though he realized it too late.

With everything pointing at Jenova succeeding in destroying the planet this time, there are multiple outcomes.

1. She succeeds. The planet is dead.

2. The relationship between Sephiroth and Cloud as fellow experiments changes the outcome. Either Cloud is completely under Sephiroth's control, which would be a bad end. Or Sephiroth is more influenced by Cloud, which could lead to a better end.

3. Later in the story, Cloud or others gain back memories from the first timeline and succeed in preventing the destruction of the world.

And of course there could be other outcomes as well.

And who knows, maybe Hojo isn't even that bad? It's all up to interpretation. Yes, his morals are questionable at best, but who knows what you could learn about him, writing from his perspective? It would be interesting to see into the mind of the crazy scientist.

Now that I'm thinking about it (though I have thought about it before) wouldn't sephiroth fit so well into bloodborne?

The mother sacrifice and the eldritch child created to be a toy for both the eldritch and religious, the scholars thinking they'd found immortality and infinite power, the pure corruptive blood and power of heritage, the governments obsessive need for control, image, influence, blood. How they raise the great ones up and rip them apart at the same time, push even them past their infinite boundaries. How they think themselves gods even as they kill them. The dream, the eyes, the influence of the mind, the distortion of reality and illusion.

Even without his powers and op-ness sephiroth would make an exceptional hunter. His ruthless, his perseverance, his utter indifference to gore, his muted but genuine kindness, his ability to shove his intestines back into his body and push on to finish the job and kill whatever did that to him.

He'd be of special interest to the great ones, though. A child of their blood? An infant great one? That's what they were looking for this whole time, this is why yharnham is in the state it is, they want a child they cannot have themselves and sephiroth is that alien, blood soaked babe.

Idea: yharnham is nibelheim and jenova is the moon presence. Cloud is the escaped yharnhamite seeking his fortune and safety away from the night of the hunt and sephiroth the unknowing blood child of the bloodless beings, catching glimpses of a ghost in white and the hunter that must hunt. Shinra the church, the manor the hunters dream, and Vincent the old hunter barely clinging to life in the basement. A doll, maybe, resembling a photo sephiroth once lost.

Deep-Dive Analysis on Vincent's 'Chaos-Eye'

Now that we have a clear image of Vincent's Chaos eye, it has prompted a few discussions and observations. One observation was pointed out to me by my bestie @cloudimaginarysoldierstrife. This was their observation... Vincent's eye resembles a solar eclipse. Why is this significant...?

The Solar Eclipse is often associated to the end of the world or doomsday. As many of you are aware, Chaos' role in Dirge of Cerberus is connected to the end of the planet's life, namely being the 'reaper' figure created to eliminate all life on the planet. Therefore, you might see how the solar eclipse and Chaos have a fitting correlation. However, as I went further in my research, I discovered a couple of other interesting connections. One of the more nuanced aspects of Vincent's character is his duality. This is something that Square Enix has been putting a lot more emphasis on as of late-- namely Vincent's inner conflict and what he represents as both a character and his journey/function in the story of FF7. While symbolism for the Solar Eclipse is varied, there is a common view. As a general consensus, the Solar Eclipse represents transformation, harmonizing opposing forces, balance of light and dark. Duality.

This characteristic of duality and balance is seen with how the Protomateria (and Chaos) function as noted in the Omega Reports. Not only was the Protomateria created to control Omega and Chaos, but it also served to absorb/contain the impurities within the Lifestream (before it was extracted by Grimoire and Lucrecia)-- in essence, balancing or maintaining the Lifestream.

But my studies didn't end at 'duality'. Though what I found next wasn't as significant, it took a rather poignant turn. While it is widely known that Chaos' function is to destroy life and allow Omega to absorb the untainted Lifestream, what some may not realize is Chaos' fate after his duty is complete. According to the Omega reports, once all life has been taken up with Omega, Chaos' fate, and by association Vincent's fate, is to be left behind on a dead and empty planet. Eternally alone. Oh and yeah he can't die, either. Now we really know why Lucrecia is so sorry...

And what do you suppose I found when it came to the origins of the word 'Eclipse'...? Little did I realize that the original Greek word for 'Eclipse' had a very foreboding meaning behind it-- "To abandon"/"Leave behind"

Yeah. That one kinda hurt. Obviously this could all not really be anywhere near what the ff7 devs were going for and could be a total nothing-burger. However, the deliberate design choice of how his eye looks and the connections to said design are hard to brush aside. I'm not expecting a full explanation on why Vincent has that single eerie eye. But it's obvious we are meant to take note of it. My assumption is that once we get to part 3 and we have more insight on Vincent as a whole, we will likely find out if Chaos/Vincent has an impact on the planet's demise towards the end, and what his fate really will be this time around. Like they say-- the eyes are the window to the soul. And they captured the duality very well. Humanity vs. Demon. Light vs. Dark. Life vs. Death. Hope vs. Despair. It's all in his eyes.

FF7 Crisis Core Characters & Their Pokémon Partners!~ 💛 🗡️

Angeal

Samurott ~ A bladed warrior Pokémon known for its strict and formidable discipline, as well as drawing obvious inspirations from Samurai/their honorable Bushido code! The fella was an Oshawott for most of Angeal’s life—belonging to the entire family as a whole, considering that they unfortunately didn’t have enough money to buy many Pokeballs/food to take care of more than one. It was only when Angeal decided he wanted to join SOLDIER that his father officially gave him Oshawott’s Pokéball, leading Angeal to spend officially numerous hours training with his buddy. By the time he joined SOLDIER, he had a worthy Samurott by his side—the strongest Pokémon out of all the three elite Firsts. When he eventually took Zack under his proverbial wing some handful of years later, the boy quickly bonded with Samurott: training, playing, and often feeding his aquatic friend when Angeal was unable to. When Angeal deserted ShinRa’s forces, however, Samurott still clung to those memories and tried to convince his trainer to do the right thing, ultimately becoming wishy-washy with its own morales as result. And, in the end, nothing hurt its rended soul more than being forced to battle Zack under Angeal’s command. It was also the last battle it ever fought.

Flapple ~ An apple—obviously!—and a red, winged apple that housed a little (book)worm-dragonsnake thing on top of it! With Crisis Core taking some inspiration from the Garden of Eden story, it seemed like the most appropriate choice. Let’s also not forget that apples rot. Anywho—able to afford Pokeballs at a young age, Genesis caught the little guy when it was just an Applin, which subsequently catalyzed his affinity for the fruit + prompted him to start a small Banora White juice stand as a kid. Growing up, Genesis loved to battle—always pushing to be the best he could be, to emulate the heroes in his stories and the silver-haired superstar he saw in the papers. But he was also a kind boy, with a kind heart—good ambitions—and spent many days helping training with Angeal’s Dewott. He was able to get his hands on a Tart Apple rather young, and ultimately went on to serve as viable asset to ShinRa’s military with the aid of his aerial Pokémon. But it was the times after the war that were sweetest to Genesis—where he and his best friends hung out together, where they used Flapple’s attacks as props and projectiles, with one of their favorite games including knocking apples of off each other’s heads. They were childish games, yes—but harmless games. Harmless competition. Harmless rivalry. Simple rivalry. Fiery rivalry. Intense rivalry. Jealous rivalry. Burning rivalry. Dangerous rivalry. And, one day, it was just too much—it was taken too far. One training incident, one battle between friends. A pepper of metal; a spur of blood; a cry of pain; and a trip to the infirmary. And it was after this day that Genesis was never really the same. When the man felt himself growing ill, Flapple was the only one he confided it—was the only one he told his plans of desertion to. And when the day came for him to abandon his past, Flapple was hesitant. Hesitant—but loyal. He remained by Genesis’s side and watched his trainer degrade, watched him rot like the fruit of his own etymology. And he wanted to cure. And he would help his trainer find that cure—that “gift”—no matter the cost. He would do anything. He would do anything, even if it meant helping destroy the reality of his old friends.

Arcanine ~ Yes—pupper for life! <3 But just like the game Zack hails from, NEVER underestimate the power of a fiery pup!! One of the most loyal Pokémon to exist, Zack took in an injured Growlithe from the wild when he was just a little kid, immediately sparking a friendship that would last him for years upon years to come. Zack loves his partner more than anything in the world—training to become the best SOLDIER he can possibly be since the day their dreams were together. Together, from vigorous and unwavering training, they climb through the ranks of ShinRa. It’s only at Fort Tamblin where, alongside receiving a Fire Armlet from Lazard, he receives a Fire Stone—and it’s all Arcanine adventures from there! Unfortunately, however, this is also when Angeal deserts, and Zack relies more than ever on the comfort of his best friend. Arcanine helps him stay positive, but even the dog itself begins to grow jaded, losing some of the blazing spirit that used to surge through its veins. Modeoheim is one of the worst tolls on the two of them—one of the most spiritually-shattering incidents of their ShinRa career. One that is only trumped by Nibelheim, where its life comes to end upon being crushed by fiery debris. It was trying to save Claudia.

Riolu: A little baby-waby Pokémon that grows into something truly incredible and iconic. Riolu was a gift from Cloud’s mother when he was turning 14 years old—a little something to keep him safe as he went away to ShinRa. Cloud was always a little hesitant about raising Pokémon, but bonded rather well with Riolu once he opened up—albeit after an admittedly awkward start. Riolu was always there to comfort Cloud after SOLDIER-exams, always there to cheer him up and keep him going until the next one. When it’s time to go on a mission with the Great Sephiroth, Riolu is there to keep him chill—sitting in his lap in the truck, affectionally nuzzling his chin to keep him level-headed. Cloud wanted to keep Riolu in his Pokeball as to keep his identity hidden—a decision that would go on to save the small Pokémon’s life when the town was horrifically set ablaze, sheltered from Sephiroth’s wrath and madness while other Pokémon made the fatal mistake of trying to stop him. Following the incident, he doesn’t remember much—unaware of when Zack broke him out of the lab and carried him and his poisoned Riolu to the edge of Midgar. There’s flashes of something in his memory—serrated shards of a bloody face and bloody body that slash into his psyche beyond his own understanding. He doesn’t remember the moment his Riolu evolved—evolving into a Lucario under the pouring rain and the pearls of crimson that had stained its paws. In fact, he doesn’t even remember ever having a Riolu. All he could seem to remember is having an Arcanine—an Arcanine who perished before his eyes—and taking custody of a Lucario who originally belonged to his friend.

Pichu ~ Yep! That’s it, you heard it right: no legendary Pokémon, no mythical—just a small little lab rat that Sephiroth cherished more than anything on the planet. He first met Pichu when he was just a little boy, finding it trapped in a too-tight cage among Hojo’s numerous experiments. Bruises and scratches marred its yellow fur, coiled into itself as it quivered and shook amid the pulsing darkness. And Sephiroth, at his tender age, could hardly stand the sight. He couldn’t stand it—not when he could feel every scratch laddering its body, every injection that must have pierced its fragile form. He knew it was a risk, he knew he could be punished—but at that moment, meeting those pained and teary eyes, none of that seemed to matter. When Hojo found Sephiroth with Pichu the next day, he of course tried to take it away—only to be met by a tempest of threats and snarls, kicks and hisses. In the end, Hojo conceded, but forcefully fed it an Everstone when Sephiroth was asleep. In the following years, the duo were inseparable—every surgery, every training session, every trial… they were together. And when Sephiroth went on to Wutai, you bet Pichu was there with him. It wasn’t much of a battler—often hurting itself with its own electricity—but what the Pokémon lacked in strength it more than made up for in loyalty and spirit. As Sephiroth’s fame and influence burgeoned, he did everything in his power to keep his treasured friend out of the limelight—often keeping him sheltered in his Pokeball until the man was able to return to his quarters in peace. This lead to several people fantasizing about what Pokémon the Great Silver Warrior could possibly have—what kind of mythical beast he kept stashed away. Only very few people have ever seen Pichu at all: Glenn, Matt, Lucia, Genesis, Angeal, and Zack—all of whom were shocked at first, but developed a newfound respect for Sephiroth after learning of its origins. Angeal and Genesis, in particular, even had the honor of babysitting for the little guy during press meetings. When the latter two deserted, Sephiroth was crushed, but Pichu did wonders to keep his spirit afloat: curling into his lap at night, falling asleep on his shoulder… Anything it can possibly do to assure Sephiroth that he wasn’t alone, it did. When it came time to leave for Nibelheim, however, when the inevitable tragedies spiraled, that’s where things started to splinter. Zack awoke one night to Pichu pawing at his face—a small and desperate gesture to get someone to help it. Agreeing to help his friend’s partner out, Zack followed Pichu to the basement of ShinRa manor, where he found Sephiroth in the heart of an eerie, candlelit library. He told them to leave—both of them. Zack tried to gently talk things out; Sephiroth told him to leave even louder. Disheartened, but thinking his friend needs space, Zack took Pichu and leaves. In the following days, he tried to comfort the anxious Pichu, telling it that Seph just needs some time to breathe and digest everything he learned. He told it that Seph will snap out of it soon—that he will return for his best friend. He promises it. Assures it. And yet, when that seventh day arrives, the town went up in flames. Villagers were killed, slaughtered, as well as every Pokémon in his wake. All the man could think about was her. Mother. His birthright. His planet. Revenge. Humans. The urge to destroy—the need to kill… The bleary shapes that he cuts down are nothing—meaningless little insects in the greater design of his world. His blade slashed through them all, cut them open and left them to burn in the hellish flames engulfing the village. They were all irrelevant—every single one of them. Meaningless. Worthless. Just kill time. Just kill them, She whispers. Kill. Kill. Kill. Kill. Kill. Kill.

“SEPHIROTH, DON’T—“

It’s too late.

Masamune had already struck, deaf to the young SOLDIER’s horrified plea.

And blind to the sight of Pichu staked through it.

Freaky Stories: A Monster Prompt List

Welcome ghouls to another prompt list by yours truly. Since I have finished Kinktober and I'm on vacation, I thought why not have a prompt list. Down below are a few rules to follow!

Welp...FF7 Rebirth came out and ummm....I have this ship with an OC called Raven and I put her with Sephiroth...Ravenroth??? Idk

I'm debating on what prompt to do them with but we'll see with the actual story. This may also tie into a painting I did~

(they also have a kid named Mercury, he's a sweetie and I made Sephiroth a sister named Seri...yay) (Mercury is not in this story but Seri is!)

May I Have This Dance?

Ever since I can remember, I've always been by his side. Sephiroth. The Golden Child of SOLDIER. Ever since we were young we'd be teamed up together. He was there when my father died in that freak accident. There i remained in SOLDIER. Even as a First Class rank I didn't care much for the formalities or the perks of being this popular. I always thought myself a medic and only that.

Genesis or Angeal will always tease us as teenagers. Teasing about dating, who would win in a fight, best aim, you name it. As the years passed by, I found myself trying to answer why. It had been years since Genesis and Angeal disappeared and I still hear their voices egging me on. I had things, priorities, to attend to, especially one that was his very sister, Seri.

"Raven!!! What do you mean you're not coming to the company ball?! Everyone will be there!" Seri whined as I checked her vitals on the screen and took some tests.

"I told you Seri, I have my duties to the hospital and you. Sephiroth will have a conniption, you know he doesn't dance anyways" I replied.

"well I'm going with Zack! He invited me in Aerith's place because of her circumstances! She insisted!" She fussed as she crossed her arms.

"Oh are you? Then I guess I have no choice~" I rolled my eyes playfully as I gave her medicine and a change of clothes from her closet and helped her put them on.

"Yay! Dress shopping!!!" Seri squealed. I helped her onto her wheelchair and we walked to the elevator to get to the bottom floor.

We walked along the streets of Midgar to a dress shop nearby. I was never really into girly stuff even as a kid. The only girly thing I wear is earrings bc my face still says masculine. I guess looking more like my father was half of a good thing. I'm glad I developed nicely up top and got ass for days. My dad would try and get me to wear hair berets or make up to make me look more feminine but I was a part of SOLDIER. I couldn't/it would run or snag in the field.

Seri and I walked through all the clothing racks. Seri picked out a few dresses her size. She kept on pointing to other dresses that might look good on me but none were speaking to me. Seri started scanning the whole store. I know those eyes too well, just like her brother's, always on target and ready to pounce. Then she grabbed a dark colored dress and snuck it under her picks, thinking she was sneaky. I only caught a glimpse of the color but not the style. I was worried but not in a scared way.

As we made our way to the changing rooms, she picked out a cute pink dress because she told me Aerith liked pink and wanted to respect her favorite color. Seri really has grown fond of both Zack and Aerith these past few years. I've never seen her this excited unless it was Sephiroth coming home to take her to a fancy dinner and toy shopping. She's 7 years younger than him yet they're both a spitting image of each other. They definitely are siblings.

I remember the day my father showed us her, so small and frail. It was devastating to see her health decline when she reached 10 years. My dad did so much for her, even as he got up in age, he was like a father to her. His death put a toll on all of us, I stayed with Shinra because I had nowhere else to go. That's when I became on call for SOLDIER and mostly full time at the Hospital. I made a promise to my dad and myself.

Seri showed off her dresses and then from underneath she revealed the dress she swiped for me. It was a long sleek slender gown with a slit up the leg that stops at the thigh and has one strap. It was a dark blue with shimmers.

"oh no...that's no me..." I deflected.

"Come on Raven just try it on! You never wear dresses so how can you know?!" Seri pouts and shoved the dress and shoved me into the changing room, "imma go find ya shoes! Be right back!" With those parting words she wheeled herself away and I was alone. In the changing room. With a floor to ceiling mirror...

I placed the dress over me to get a feel then I started to undress from my uniform into this dress. Once it was on I saw myself. My figure helped but I had muscle. Was that sexy? Appealing? I even posed with my leg out the slit.

"Raven! I'm back with shoes!" Seri snapped me out my thoughts and shoved the shoe box under the door. I looked inside. They were black high heels...

"You sure about this Seri?" I called out.

"trust me!!!" Seri giggled.

I gulped and tried on the shoes. I looked at myself again and was amazed. Everything...matched me... Was Seri some kind of fashion genius? Maybe those fashion magazines around the hospital didn't help.

"come on out I wanna seeeeee!!!" Seri whined and scooted her wheelchair back.

I opened the door and revealed myself. The look on Seri's face said it all. She looked like she saw an angel.

"you look...amazing!!!!" She took a picture with her phone. "Sephi will FLIP when he sees you in this dress!!!"

"you think so?" I blushed.

"I know so! And with your silver earrings to match him it'll be perfect!!! Zack is already matching me with a pink tie already. He is not scared of pink!" Seri laughed.

I smiled, "then I'll get this dress. And maybe a necklace for both of us"

I quickly got unchanged and went to go pick out some necklaces. I got matching silver bang necklaces for us. I paid for the shopping spree and we headed on home to the apartment. Only god knows what will happen tonight...

The ballroom of the venue was packed with higher ups and other important people. I adjusted my dress. My hair and make up fixed up to match my dress. I touched my necklace and took a deep breath and walked into the venue. Seri already left earlier with Sephiroth for the venue. She was adamant Sephiroth doesn't see me get dressed in my pretty gown. My heels clicked along the floor as my presence started to turn heads and unwanted whispers. Why am I so nervous?

Then I saw Seri and Zack talking it up in the SOLDIER section of the venue with our names on the tables on the outside of the dancefloor.

"well look who decided to show up!!" Zack chuckled, "you look pretty good in a dress and is that a clutch?!"

"yes Zack...and you look stunning in that suit. Really brings out your eyes" I teased. Zack's cheeks turned pink. "And your cheeks~"

Seri chuckled, "he at least has some good dance moves."

"Seri where is your brother?" I asked.

"over there next to the corporates and higher ups. He's been sipping champagne for an hour with them..." She pointed.

I rolled my eyes and walked over to them. The drunken fools started whistling at my appearance. I deflected their looks and focused on Sephiroth.

"Look who finally decided to wear make up after so long" Sephiroth commented as he left the drunken old men to come to me.

"you don't look half bad yourself" I adjusted his blue tie. I knew Seri would make him match me.

"Shall we go out to the balcony? Away from these fools and noise?" He suggested. I gladly accepted and we walked outside.

"I'm so used to the sound of the battlefield and hospital. Yet I always get nervous around other people." I chuckled. "At least Seri and Zack are having a great time."

Sephiroth chuckled and held Raven close, "who says we can't have our own fun out here? May I have this dance?"

I blushed and smiled, "you may" he soon pulled me in and we began slow dancing on the balcony to the muffled music of the ballroom. The moon shines full and bright above us.

We swayed back and forth and he spun me a few times. I knew he wasn't much for dancing but he learned to cheer me up when we were teenagers. He knew my father loved to dance with me. Even Genesis and Angeal got on the bandwagon. They were all my best friends. Well now I only have Sephiroth. Ever since we were young we were glued to the hip, even in battle we had each other's backs.

My heart started pounding faster at the thought of feelings for Sephiroth. Are we allowed? I'm not in SOLDIER anymore by default but I work with Seri now so it might be?

"you're making that face again~" Sephiroth spoke softly and snapped me out of my thoughts.

"what face?"

"the cute face you make when you're deep in thought or worried." Sephiroth smirked. Cute? Cute?!

"oh...sorry..." I chuckled embarrassingly.

"don't be sorry, I like it, besides you're beautiful tonight. Seri picked out a nice dress" he placed a hand on my hip, trailing his fingers against my exposed back, "and don't worry about the muscles, I like that about you, you're not dainty or fragile like Seri. Strong and stubborn."

I wrapped my arms around his neck, "you think so?"

"I know so" Sephiroth placed his other hand on my hip, leaning in closer to where we're almost nose to nose.

"I'm glad you said that, because I like a man who can keep me on my toes and always had my back for the past 25+ years" I stared into his eyes as the moonlight hit them.

"then I'll hold you to it for the rest of our lives. You've done too much to just be rewarded once" he leaned in closer.

"it's a promise" I closed the gap and kissed him. We held each other. He lifted me a bit to get one last jab at the toes statement. His chapped lips were soft and his hair was like silk. He even put it up for once in a low pony with a small braid.

We separated with a few good breaths between us. Was dad always right that I might end up with Sephiroth? I don't care, if it is true, I know where my heart lies tonight. It's definitely with him. Soon we were surprised to see Seri and Zack. Seri looked like she was about to lose it at the fact we finally kissed. Zack was dumbfounded that Sephiroth knew how to be romantic.

"I did it! I knew you guys would come out here! And you kissed!!!!" Seri squeaked out giggles and stumbled to her brother and I.

Sephiroth held her steady, "I guess your constant nagging about me staring and smiling paid off, little sister."

Seri smiled, "it's only a matter of time till I hear wedding bells! I wanna be the maid of honor! Can we invite Aerith?! Cloud?!"

"Slow down Hyperactive Kitten, it'll be way down the line for that possibility. What if we just eloped?" I chuckled.

"don't care! I still get wedding bells!" Seri smiled as Sephiroth twirled her around in his arm. She brought him so much joy. I don't remember a day where he tried to visit her and play with her, even being a muse for her paintings. She loved him just as much.

"maybe once I retire, we'll see about that" Sephiroth smiled.

Zack gasped, "you're leaving me all alone no fair! It'll just be me and Cloud!" He pouted playfully.

I laughed at his expression and we had a fun night for the rest of the evening. My feet were sore and tired from dancing. At the apartment I helped Seri get ready for bed and hung her cute dress up for her to look at in her room. I made my way to the other bedroom and got undressed into pajama shorts and a tank top. I wiped off all my make up.

Sephiroth was just in sweatpants as he looked at me with soft eyes. I walked to him and gave him another kiss. Memories of sharing a tent or a bed together on trips, even into older age, came into my mind. Entangling our bodies together to stay warm. Him placing his head on mine. Even in uniform it was comfy. Like we were two sides of one coin. We laid down in the large bed, embracing each other, with me laying my head on his chest. Listening to his strong heart. His strong arm wrapped around my figure. My olivey complexion is a clear difference from his pale skin.

"Goodnight Sephiroth" I yawned softly.

"Goodnight Raven...I love you" He smiled.

"I love you too"

Professionalism Failure: STRONGLY considering Alhaitham getting sick during a meeting bc he thought he could keep himself under control. ... not sure if reluctant Cyno dealing with him or Kaveh. Stay tuned!

free day: Kiana tried say something, she really did. But Himeko didn't really believe her since she had a habit of trying to get out of class. Fast forward to that evening when Himeko finds her in the bathroom dazed with a fever, etc.

sick for the first time: Stelle [HSR] has no memories of Before and so as an adult trailblazer gets to be sick "for the first time". It's miserable, but March and Dan Heng take good care of her.

Sick in More Ways than One: trailblazer! probably stelle! leaning into the stelleron doing weird shit! Thinkin she picks up something from the crew just in general but it's not Bad:tm: and then she also goes to help herta with SU stuff and things go... south due to a weird interaction in the SU!

sleepy sickie: Shortly after they're reunited in the Chasm, Lumine realizes something is wrong with Xiao-more than his exhaustion, though it certainly plays a factor in everything. He's tired, all the wants to do is sleep. But he's injured and fevered and it gets worse, before it gets better.

head pain/injury/ache: Fu Xuan has a migraine, and perhaps should be resting instead of working, but Jing Yuan has not returned to full duty and someone must hold down the Luofu, after all. (Jing Yuan is not particularly amused)

House of Sephiroth FAQ and Lore

What is House of Sephiroth?

House of Sephiroth is a romantic tragicomedy with hints of mystery. It focuses on an amnesiac darling (called the HoS Darling) and her deep connection to the six Yandere versions of Sephiroth: OG FF7/Jenova!Sephiroth, Dissidia Sephiroth, C.C. Sephiroth (Crisis Core: Nibelheim Incident), FF7R Sephiroth, Female Sephiroth and AC Sephiroth.

A divine force has transported the Darling and the Sephiroths to a peculiar  house in a mysterious astral dimension. By the grace of the divine power, all Sephiroths must use the house as a base of operations to fulfill their aspirations and to interact with their darling.

As the darling plunges into a series of exhilarating, disturbing and (sometimes) heartwarming adventures, will she be able to uncover her true identity while surviving six crazed Sephiroths holding a deep, twisted love for her?

Please note: while HoS is a somewhat silly Yandere AU, it will contain Dead Dove: Do Not Eat content. What’s the Story Behind the Sephiroths? 

Five of the Sephiroths were pulled from alternate realities where they achieved their goals and were ready to start their takeover of the cosmos. C.C. Sephiroth is the only exception to this, as he was taken prematurely, during the Nibelheim Incident, and suddenly placed in this astral dimension. This is a big reason why his mommy issues intensified.

All Sephiroths claim the darling as their own, and she can feel the sincerity of their words, yet she cannot confirm them... As the Sephiroths clashed with each other, they knew they had to collaborate and coexist if they wanted to continue their goals and remain in this peculiar home that confined their darling. After many heated negotiations, they agreed to share the darling, alternating who had priority each week. 

They may coexist for the moment, but each Sephiroth is covertly plotting to get rid of the others, take the darling for themselves and become the master of all realities... 

Will Other Sephiroths Appear in the AU?

It’s possible, as recurring guests! It is essential for them to stand out in their own role through a distinguishable look and personality, rather than easily incorporated into the five main Sephiroths. e.g. Brave Exvius Sephiroth will be under 7R Sephiroth, Last Order Sephiroth will be under C.C.

Current recurring guests are KH Sephiroth, WoFF Sephiroth, Theatrhythm Sephiroth.

The six main Sephiroths and the Darling will always be the ensemble (main) cast.

Gangbang requests/prompts will always be welcomed and beloved!

Will Other FF Characters Appear in the AU? 

For now? No. Perhaps in the future, as guest stars. Don’t be afraid to share some ideas though! 

If you have a keen eye for detail, there are lots of references and important themes referencing other FF7 characters like Cloud, Aerith and etc... As they left an impression on the darling in her past life.

What is “The House”? 

A House, haha. But to give a little more information: It’s an ethereal, mysterious house situated on a (not totally) desolate world, within a peculiar astral dimension. There are mysteries within the large house the Sephiroths and the Darling have yet to uncover. 

The world itself is mostly empty, but there are occasional, hostile lifeforms and exotic nature that lie beyond the house...

Are The Sephiroths Confined to “The House”?

The Sephiroths can leave and return as they please, but the Darling is often stuck within its boundaries. The Sephiroth she’s with can allow her to join to him now and then, but eventually the mystical house will call for her to return.

The Sephiroths go out to dominate and annihilate any other worlds they could find, in this dimension and others. Though they are often gone for these endeavors, they eventually return to the house, drawn by their darling, their alternative selves, the captivating mystery of this strange house, and the world its in...

As the AU progresses, the ethereal house will slowly reveal its secrets and the stories of its past.

I play ff7 and then ofc get dragged back into ff7-land on AO3 and there are all of these "fix-it" fics in ff7 fandom, like actually almost 600 with just the tag "fix-it" and that's not counting the various other ways that type of story can be tagged. Also tons of AU where xyz traumatic events don't happen and everyone is happy. Which are fun for the escapist side of my brain but annoying to the canon side of my brain. And now I have this solution in my head but I'm a crap writer so I'm making this someone else's problem. Maybe someone already wrote this? IDK I can't sort through 27 years of fanfiction. Long story short here's my prompt:

Can we get a time travel fix-it off of one of those "fixed" timelines? Like, we keep Sephiroth sane and Nibelheim never happens but also no one brings down Shinra or stops mako energy, so the planet and everything on it ends up dying anyway, at which point the planet or whatever says "nope that was NOT fixed," and punts someone/s back to do it again.

7. What story/headcanons do you feel the proudest of?

If I had to pick, the story I'm most proud of - even though it's certainly not my most popular by and means, and it desperately needs to be rewritten and edited - has to be Futuristic Lovers. It's basically a love letter to Treasure Planet and Anastasia, two of my absolute favorite movies when I was wee, and it took me almost 8 years to write. I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone because the first ten chapters are baaaaad, but I'm proud of it nonetheless if only because it's a monument to me that, hey, I can finish a project given enough time and the proper enrichment lol

16. What fanfic tropes do you avoid writing for?

What fanfic tropes won't I write? I don't really know here, I'm kinda blanking on this right now... I've been writing fic a long time, reading it even longer, so I know what I like to read and what I'll avoid, and I that kinda goes for writing, I guess. I can say for certain what genres I like and don't like, which very much includes tragedy. Don't like tragic and unhappy endings. I'm all for whump and angst trains, as long as the payoff is cathartic, but for me, I like a happy ending at the end of a bad day. Tend to avoid major character death, so I don't know that I'll ever write that unless it's already canon.

Over-Flanderizing a character is also extremely aggravating, as well as the incorporation of therapy speak in fics. Also hate when there's an overabundance of "consent is kinky" in any given fic. It's one thing if it's just a shameless pwp, it's another if it's a moment that takes me out of the fic. I like to keep my characters as in-character as possible, and that tends comes with a lot of Not Asking for Permission.

30. Do you write down all your ideas? What makes you decide to write one versus the other?

When I was still a tween, I used to write down any and every idea that popped into my head - had a dedicated ideas notebook and everything. Between then and now, after 14+ years, I've since lost that habit, but I've been trying to pick it back up. I try to at least jot down a general prompt idea in a dedicated notes folder on my phone now to at least revisit at a later date. If I have a scene haunting my every moment for more than a few hours, that tends to get scribbled down real quick, too, especially if it's for a wip I'm trying to work on.

Honestly, whatever winds up actually being written is what I happen to be vibing with at the time. Right now, I desperately want to write Blackice Hades/Persephone AU because I just saw some gorgeous fanart and Sefikura molestation in the back alleys of Wall Market cuz I've been playing FF7 Remake, because if I have one very specific kink, then it's boy's in skirts and being extremely uncomfortable about it (I'm not at all projecting, I swear).

She has no idea what they’ll see around the corner, but it sure as hells isn’t what’s actually there.

The pit of her stomach drops out from within her as her gaze tracks far—far, far, such a distance she can’t remotely comprehend, unto an utterly impossible view, or what should be for where they are, upon the ocean floor somewhere below Kholusia’s seas. I cannot believe Emet-Selch understated something; this is far from the abode I was expecting…

“By the gods,” Alisaie breathes at her side.

It’s buildings—endless, enormous, sprawling before them unto what may as well be infinity. Rising up from an unfathomably deep void to reach pinnacles far above; Ellie isn’t sure how some of these structures aren’t piercing the surface of the ocean. It doesn’t even seem like ocean before them anymore; it puts her in mind of being upon the airship deck as it pulls into the airspace around a city like Limsa Lominsa or Ul’dah, except even those prime examples of Eorzean urban design are utterly dwarfed by the scale before them; she is fair certain the Mizzenmast of Limsa in particular would only take up three stories of one of these buildings that seem to consist of dozens, if not hundreds. Innumerable rectangular spires, breathtakingly massive, twinkling with lighted windows and looming over them, even with how much further they must tread to even get close. Tall, dark, ominous… and for some reason Ellie cannot pin down, sad. A hollow pain echoes within her heart and she has no earthly idea why.

“When the Ondo spoke of a city,” Alphinaud utters quietly, awestruck, “I did not think they meant an actual city!”

Ellie’s mouth has gone dry, even with the humidity and the fact that they’re deep underwater; she tries to wet her lips and wipes her mouth. She scans the horizon, from the tips of the towers down to whatever floor upon which they may stand, seeing if she can discern any signs of life upon any bustling streets. There’s… something, but she can’t tell what manner of life it may be. The Ondo didn’t seem to want to poke that monster’s nest; what in the hells resides down there? Can it truly just be Emet-Selch…?

“Then… we are seeing the same view.”

Ellie blinks in confusion and whirls her head around to stare at Y’shtola, along with the others. Her eyes, a hazy grey ever since her (first) sojourn into the flow of the Lifestream, seem more focused now than ever before, and the very idea seems to dilate her pupils and strike terror in her—and the idea of Y’shtola terrified is in and of itself terrifying. “The remnants in the Ondo settlement were solid, material structures, but these… Everything here pulses with aether. ‘Tis an enchantment on a monumental scale!” Ellie feels like even monumental barely begins to describe it—especially if it’s all aether, seven hells, how much does he have…

How much are we up against, how much must we overcome to save them…

A hand scoops up her own then; she blinks and looks down to her side to see Lily, lips drawn tight but eyes fiery with determination, gazing up at her. “Leave it to Emet-Selch to go to such excess… It’s intimidating, yes—but we’re not stopping, are we?”

“Thought never crossed my mind.” Ellie smirks down at her and squeezes her hand. “Hells, if we’re intimidated up here, imagine what it must be like for them: trapped down in the middle of all that with only him as their guide.”

She can’t dispel that image from her mind, though: that of Mia, eyes glazed over and jerking like a puppet, reaching for Emet-Selch’s extended hand and clasping it, vanishing into the aether even as Ellie screamed her name…

It doesn't bode well, whatever Emet-Selch has planned for those two, and for Ellie should she submit to the Light, and his “abode” is mindbogglingly terrible to behold… but they can’t stop. I promised Mia: I will protect her from Emet-Selch’s designs, whatsoever they may be. I failed at that task atop Mt. Gulg, but if the window is still open… I will not again.

Ok ok I have decided to open back up my requests to do Final Fantasy requests due to Rebirth coming out recently. I will open up to other fandoms but most likely just a few (don't wanna overwhelm myself again)

I will have rules for this bc I don't like doing REALLY nasty stuff. I see enough as is... besides it's fun seeing wholesome lovey dovey bs or a good fight every once in a while.

Be nice and don't come after me if your prompt/request is not finished within the timeframe you thought it'll be done. Just be patient.

No nasty prompts! Keep it to very minimum. I will do blood, weapons, fights etc etc. no gore unless it's like a severed arm in a fight or something idk. I will do just about any gender/sexuality (within reason, no complicated ones)

Keep your requests to one or two at a time. Don't spam me with a lot of ideas. I know you're excited but also tell me WHO you want so it's also easier.
