Turk Omegaverse Headcanons Part One

Utilizing Before Crisis details as well... even if with Crisis Core, the two games would have to take place during each other to be half canon. Turks: Reno, Rude, Emma (Gun (Female)), Elena TW: I had no filter writing this. Sex, allusions to kinks, condoms, minors DNI to be safe :)

Reno

The sluttiest omega you can imagine

He’s supposed to be on suppressants, but you���re also  not supposed to drink alcohol while on them, and he forgets to take them half the time, so they’re not very effective.

Reno is a bonded omega, so his cycles hit like clockwork exactly every five weeks.

Reno has a very active sex life with his alpha, both during his heats and outside of them.

Reno is shameless and he’s not exactly afraid of being kinky or playing with a new toy. That being said, as second in command, he won’t do anything that might threaten his job.

Rude

Reno’s alpha, husband, and best friend.

Significantly less kinky than his husband, but definitely not vanilla. Plus he likes it when his omega is happy, so if Reno wants to be handcuffed to the showerhead for some reason, he’s willing to try that… even if it involves them both slipping, falling, and having to come up with a lie to tell the plumber as to how the shower head got ripped out of the wall.

Has he screwed Reno in a helicopter before? Maybe.

Emma (Gun (Female))

An Alpha and not-exactly-bonded with Alvis (Rod (Male)

She’s been on Rut Suppressants since it was legal and has safe sex drilled into her head like a mantra.

Her parents were teens when she was born (Fifteen with her, seventeen with her sister), and the pregnancies were stressful enough that it’s pretty much impossible for her and Elena to have any more siblings.

She’s not really looking for a permanent mate, but blowing off steam with Alvis works and she has a “Not quite friends, not quite acquaintances” with benefits thing going on with the beta.

She lives on her own now, but growing up, her parents had a ready stash of condoms in the house and they were not at all taboo.

Elena

An omega who pretends she’s an alpha. Or a beta. Anything but an omega, really.

Views being an omega more as a weakness and a hindrance than a help.

It adds a layer of complexity to her sibling rivalry with Emma, especially since it leaves Elena feeling inferior to her sister and Elena is hard enough on herself as it is.

Elena is eighteen, so she’s on the cusp of pseudoheats and transitional heats (See post on Omega A+P), so it’s not legal for her to take any form of heat suppressant, scent blocker, or other forms of hormone altering medications. She hates that.

Elena’s cycles are still irregular and since she doesn’t have a mate (and has no interest to), she spends the cycles off of work and resting at home.

She really hates missing work and it’s usually her mother who will cuddle with her if his heat cycle doesn’t overlap with hers. He hates when his pups are in pain.

Elena is pretty shy when it comes to exploring her sexuality, so she’s not a major fan of toys or porn on her heats. She’d rather utilize frozen treats as a means to lower her temperature, plus sugar eases her cramps a bit from the endorphin rush. Her go-to is sea salt, of course.

silly slideshow I made for my friend awhile ago who was first getting into ff7. it’s about the before crisis core turks and how I view them. all the information is mostly cannon but I added a couple of my own inferences.

PFFT- Seeing the curtain rod reblog now has me imagining Aerith somehow stealing a Celestial Bronze curtain rod to fight with. How did that get there? Well, Hades may or may not have used his Pluto aspect to change the composition of a nearby curtain rod when learned of this habit.

Look if his daughter is going to solely find weapons by stealing someone’s curtain rods it’s the least he can do as a father to make sure that what she takes can actually protect her. Particularly considering her habit of not using her magic and going straight to physical violence.

Things happened on Gaia. Strange, otherworldly things. The whole 'almost wiped out by a meteor' thing came to mind. That was... something.

Yeah. Something.

Rod took refuge in his weapon design, in the precision of the pencil, clean lines bringing his visions to something tangible. And then, pummeling it into shape, breathing life into it with the fire of the forge and the power of the bellows, quenched and beaten until finally--

"Oh, you're beautiful," Rod whispered, admiring the battle scythes he'd just finished. "Golden Gale... perfection."

He stepped out of the forge and held them up to shine in the light. They really were gorgeous pieces and they made his heart sing.

Of course now he needed something more complex. He needed a challenge.

He let his hair down for a moment, the thick red curtain falling down to midback as he chugged a hydration mix. You sweat like crazy doing this. Motion caught him out of the corner of his eye and he turned, tipping his head to listen to the sound of a motorcycle fast approaching.

Maybe his challenge was about to find him.

Wait, hold the presses

Tell me everything about the hot man

i'm feeling like i'm presenting a new kitten to the hivemind like, hey, saw this whore? want to hear about him?

if you like your men with questionable morals ouh boy is this guy for you.

His name is Reno, he's part of the Turks, which is basically a secret service belonging to the corporation that controls this world (Shinra). The Turks are specialized in doing the secret dirty work for Shinra. Needs an assassination? Covering up an atrocity? Kidnapping someone? The Turks will be the one to do that for Shinra.

They don't really have morals outside from just what fits the company. They do what they're told and they're really good at it.

Reno is the one who's a bit of a tease about it. He will make jokes on the battlefield, he provokes his enemies a lot to get them irritated into fighting them. He dodges them easily, only to then hit him with his electric rod.

During the course of ff7, him and 3 others Turks (Rude, who is his closest companion, Tseng, their boss, and Elena, the new recruit) will be minor antagonists that will try to get in the way of our protagonists, since they are rebels to the system, trying to destroy Shinra before Shinra destroys the world. They're also assigned to look over Aerith, whom Shinra has special plans for, so they often lurks around to try to kidnap her.

Anyway the fun thing about Reno is that he's mostly here to have fun, he does his job and he does it well. but he's also one of the antagonists who actually warms up to the protagonists. After multiple encounters it just become usual to meet them. There's a moment in the OG where you run into him and Rude drinking at a bar and they look at you and go "we're not in service today so we'll pretend we didn't see you."

he's a very fun antagonist and one i always love to see around.

and in Japanese he was voiced by Keiji Fujiwara (Eugen in GBF)

Following a whole quest where Elena was endangered and your team help her, the Turks become a bit more reluctant over specifically hunting the party down.

By the end of the game, Reno and Rude in particular will feel some sense of guilt for their participation into Shinra's atrocities and will lowkey help the main team, if only by refusing to fight them, which will lead to the fall of Shinra.

By the time of the movie, two years later, Reno and Rude help the main team with the new antagonists, and Reno especially talk in it about his guilt participating in those horrors, even though well. Can't help being good at his job :/

AU 006 : 'FINAL FANTASY VII'

Tag: more than a mako sniffing dog [ff7 au]

Setting: the Final Fantasy 7 'compilation' universe

Culture: mostly Lufenian, picking up some cues from others

Locations: currently varies often, but returns home to a seaside cottage east of Fort Condor & south of Junon's mountains; born and raised on the sky-isles of Lufenia; sailed first to the three-taloned island south of the Junon Area then ventured onto the continents proper

Abilities Changes: - his 'soul burst' resonance crystallizes the fragments of lifestream within living things (the particular density & makeup causes them to look red), but the crystals aren't powerful/stable enough on their own to be used as materia - he didn't start using elemental magic until coming to the continents & acquiring materia

Occupations: currently a mercenary; former experimental fighter for Lufenia (alongside the rest of his squad & Astos)

Main Weapons: materia magic & unarmed combat

Altered Backstory: He never knew his parents, and never found out anything about them; he was given the surname of the lab's head, and thus has always presumed she was his mother. Regardless, he can't recall any warmth or kindness from her. What he did know since childhood was that he was being tested in various ways, to see if he was strong enough to become a 'reborn Cetra'. Once he was old enough and the tests were giving favorable results, he was brought to a larger lab on the central sky-isle where he finally met other kids his age - Jed, Ash, Neon, and Sophia. He and the others were given generally free reign when not in lessons or 'checkups'; while he was exploring with his friends one day, they happened upon Astos. The elf had been taken from the ocean-isles below and altered through experimentation, though not even Astos knew why. Regardless, he managed to win Astos' friendship. In the latter half of his adolescence, after a few years of training, they were all sent down to the ocean-isles to fight the monsters there (with Astos there as a guide of sorts). Ostensibly, their goal was to purge the 'darkness' across the isles to help protect their part of the planet, as well as to monitor the lifestream as aspiring 'reborn Cetras'. However, as years went on, it grew more apparent in their missions that they were only protecting Lufenia's industrial access to refine the lifestream into mako. The aim to recreate Cetras was legitimate, but only as living dowsing rods, enablers of that access to mako. Thus, he and his friends began to plot in secret... Each of them hit each of the sky-isles' main power stations, after setting up cascading failures for the backups. Jack was responsible for the one on the central isle, as it was most likely to bring all the others down with it. He poured his resonance into the mako tubes from the main console, holding out long enough for the crystallization to reach the heart of the refiner, locking up the engines that kept the sky-isle aloft. All the isles were then brought crashing down, thanks to the efforts of his friends as well. The landing was harsh, however, and they were left to seek each other out across the ocean-isles. They were injured to varying degrees, but all alive... though Astos had contracted mako poisoning. While looking after Astos, he and his friends made a makeshift boat out of one of the half-intact transports that had so often taken them down to the surface on missions. Though it was a bit of an arduous journey, they managed to arrive on the eastern continent intact. After building a home and starting up a decent goods exchange with the nearby Fort Condor, he decided to gain more supplies and bring home enough gil for Astos' treatments by taking up work as a mercenary. He does experience mild memory issues due to the years of experimentation and exposure to mako after the collapse, but he's mostly found ways to deal with it.

Technically he should be wielding it two-handed. Back before D&D 3.0 decided to have "small-sized weapons" (which I can understand but caused so many headaches, especially with magical weapons) (imagine a group of adventurers getting a tiny-sized magical sword... the sword being powerful but only doing 1-2 damage on a roll. And the player has a -2 to hit because of the size issues), halflings would consider long swords to be two-handed blades. (This was also before wielding weapons two-handed increased strength damage.)

It may be that as a result of the enchantment, he can hold it effectively one-handed. The weapon was described as nearly weightless. (And I actually thought Orym was going to offer the blade to Dorian as Robbie had been saying his character had nothing. Nothing but a Canaith mandolin, a Gambler's Blade, 2,500 gold, and Winged Boots, it seems. Maybe an Immovable Rod as well? And the Sending Stone. So yeah. Nothing.)

As for weapon length, the (sized for medium-sized creatures) Greatsword/Two-Handed Sword is said to be five feet in length in D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder 1e. You could literally have a character running around with a sword larger than they are. And hey, if Cloud can do that in FF7, then why not? This is fantasy. Orym can have a very-light-weight-but-oversized blade. :) I'd rather he absorb the sword and gain from it but... we'll see how that plays out.

Serious question.

Isn't Otohan's sword taller/longer than Orym? Is Orym wielding a sword that is effectively his size, possibly bigger? Is a sword jutting across his back, so he looks like a walking, talking letter X? If he changes the angle, he can look like he's perpetually T-posing.

Rapiers are 41 in on average and Orym is 3ft - which is 36 inches. We can even call it 40 inches like we're writing his grindr profile. But if he stuck that sword on the ground, is it not taller than him???
