Can’t believe I even have to say this, but wanting Jean Grey, or any other female comic book character to die or stay dead because you want her significant other to be with someone else, is misogynistic.

Female characters shouldn’t have to be fridged just because you don’t like her relationship with her boyfriend/husband and prefer him to be with someone else. They can always separate or divorce, you don’t need to kill a female character off.

I’m tired of people wanting to rob female characters of potential and development for the sake of male characters. That mentality is the reason why Gail Simone started the Women in Refrigerators movement.

Let female characters develop outside male characters. Let them have the same development as male characters.
