As Y/N goes to exit the makeshift hospital room, the lights suddenly go out, enveloping the mansion in darkness. “I should have known,” she mutters to herself. Drawing her gun, she grabs her phone and calls Wooyoung, who has just stepped out. “Tell the men to stay here. It seems we have a visitor,” she tells him after he answers. 

"I'll have them sweep the area," he tells her.  

"I’ll keep watch from here," she says, her mind racing with various scenarios.  

After Wooyoung hangs up, Y/N takes a deep breath, her instincts kicking in. A nagging suspicion tells her that Ri Mi-Rae's somehow infiltrated the mansion grounds, and that her sighting at the docks was merely a diversion. She moves carefully toward the window, her senses on high alert as she looks down at the grounds. The darkness is dense, but she knows this mansion intimately.  

Suddenly, a soft noise from the hallway outside draws her attention. She turns to the door, straining to hear, her grip on her gun tightening as she approaches the door. Just then, she hears a sound behind her, and before she can react, an arm wraps around her neck, squeezing tightly as the person pulls her back against them. At that moment, the generators roar to life, and the lights flicker back on. 

"Let go of me!" she hisses, twisting her body in an attempt to break free. The arm around her neck tightens, and she feels the pressure constricting her airway. Her fight or flight instincts kick in, and with a swift motion, she aims her gun at what she hopes is the intruder's foot and pulls the trigger. The person releases her immediately and she spins around, gasping for breath, only to find her latest hire staring at her in shock. A quick glance at his foot reveals that she missed entirely, but the shot was enough to startle him into letting her go.  

Raising the gun, she aims it at his head, “Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t pull the trigger right now.” 

"I-I—" he stammers, struggling to find the right words.  

Just as she pulls the trigger, shooting the young man, another arm wraps around her neck again, this one slimmer than the first. She doesn’t need to guess who it is as she fights against her new enemy.  

"Stop resisting, or I’ll kill you right in front of your husband," Mi-Rae threatens. "He’ll wake up to find your cold, lifeless body lying beside him,” she continues. "I wasn't just trained as a spy; I'm also an assassin." 

Y/N feels the pressure of Mi-Rae's arm around her neck, the threat of suffocation looming. She stops struggling and relaxes her body. It has the desired effect as Mi- Rae loosens her grip enough for her to make a move. With a sudden burst of strength, she twists her body, using her free hand to jab at Mi-Rae's side. The so-called assassin stumbles slightly, loosening her grip just enough for Y/N to get out of her hold.  

"You're not the only one trained to fight," Y/N growls, her resolve hardening. She pivots to face Mi-Rae fully, and in one fluid motion, she brings her gun up, aiming it directly at the assassin's heart. “It seems you’re a little rusty.” 

Mi-Rae, filled with rage, lunges at her. Y/N quickly shoots her in the chest stopping her. She watches as Mi-Rae stumbles back clutching her chest, her eyes wide with shock. The blood from the gunshot wound leaks through her fingers.  

Fueled by rage, Mi-Rae lunges at her. Y/N reacts quickly, shooting her in the chest. She watches as Mi-Rae stumbles back, dropping her gun while clutching her chest, her eyes wide with disbelief. Blood seeps through her fingers as she collapses to the floor. Y/N steps closer, kicking the gun away, sending it skidding near the hospital bed.  

"Why did you come for me?" Y/N asks, her expression unreadable as she stands over the older woman, watching her gasping for breath. "How long have you been planning this?" 

"It was never supposed to be you," Mi-Rae manages to say between labored breaths. "Y-You were meant to-to die w-with your m-mother, but then he-he found you and-and took you in."  

"This has all been about Kim Dong-Yul?" Y/N asks, thinking of the man who took her in after her mother’s death.  

The memories of her childhood flood back—fragments of a life spent on the streets, always looking over her shoulder, always fighting to survive and avoid being a statistic at the orphanage. Kim Dong-Yul had been her savior, a beacon of hope in a world that had shown her nothing but cruelty.  

Dong-Yul, who was also Hongjoong's uncle, found her on the street after she had stolen an apple from a market stall. He claimed to be her uncle and took full custody of her when the authorities finally caught up to her. He raised her as his daughter and transformed her into the woman she is today. When he fell ill three years ago, she headed his empire, transforming it into the success it is now. It officially became hers seven months ago after Kim Dong-Yul passed away from his illness, leaving his Kim empire to her in his will. 

"Why?" Y/N demanded, her voice steady despite the chaos swirling within her. She places a heeled foot on Mi-Rae's hand that’s covering her wound and applies pressure. "Why would you want me dead? What did I ever do to you?" 

Mi-Rae's face twisted in pain, but there was a flicker of something else in her eyes—betrayal, resentment. Her breath grows shallower as she continues to talk. "When we found out you weren’t killed, your father and I were going to use you as a pawn to get to him. But when he took you in, you became stronger, smarter and unpredictable. You became a rival,” she begins to explain. “Kim Dong-Yul promised me everything when we were together and then your mother came along, oblivious to the fact she had gained the attention of the biggest crime lord in South Korea,” She pauses to take a deep breath. “I-I bet you didn’t know that,” she lets out a chuckle mixed with a groan. 

Y/N pressing her foot down, putting even more pressure on the wound. “I know more than you think. I heard stories all about Ahn Iseul, another alias of yours. Just so you know, no one liked you. Everyone was relieved when Dong-Yul got rid of you.”  

“Did you know it was your father’s idea to have you and your mother killed?” she groaned. “I may have seduced him to get back at your mother for stealing Dong-Yul's attention, but I wasn’t the one who suggested we kill you. He wanted to be rid of you as well as her. Your father is a bigger monster than you think,” She pauses for a moment before speaking again. “I suggest-” 

She’s cut off when a gunshot echoes throughout the room. Y/N holds the smoking gun, pointed at Mi-Rae's head. “One down, one to go,” she says coldly, removing her foot from Mi-Rae's lifeless body. 

“Drop it, Y/N,” her biological father’s voice fills the room. “I don’t want to have to shoot you.” 

“Have you killed anyone before, Appa?” She questions him, not bothering to raise her gun. With everything she had endured and the shocking truths she was uncovering, she’s exhausted. She’s also pretty sure her father wouldn’t have the balls to shoot her. “Or have you always gotten someone else to do it for you?” 

“You’re a monster,” Ha-Joon repeats his words from a week ago. 

“It seems to be genetic,” she replies. “You, me, Ha-Na. Though I doubt Ha-Na had much of a chance with a psychotic mother like Mi-Rae,” her voice takes on a taunting tone. “Before you left eomma, I thought you could do no wrong. But you proved me wrong. You showed me how weak and pathetic you actually are.” 

“I’d shut up if I were you!” he warns her. 

“Or what? Your fragile ego won’t have it and you’ll do the dirty work yourself?” she taunts. “Like I said, your weak and pathetic. I can’t believe I came from someone like you.” 

With anger on his face, Ha-Joon steps towards her, pressing his gun against her head, the cool metal of the nuzzle brushing against her heated skin. 

“Do it,” she tells him. “If my husband dies, I have no reason to live anymore,” she says watching her father’s eyes glance towards the bed where Hongjoong lays. “Kill me like you should have done all those years ago,” she insists, her tone now commanding. “End me and take over the Kim Empire. That’s what you and Mi-Rae wanted, right?” 

Instead of firing, he retracts his hand and strikes her across the face with the gun, sending her to the ground. She whips her head around to glare at him, her cheek already reddening and swelling from the blow, filled with all the hatred she can muster. He looms over her, gun once more pressed against her head. 

“Prove that little girl wrong, Appa,” she continues to taunt him, showing him that she’s not scared of him or dying. “Prove to her that you're no longer a weak and pathetic coward.” 

“Stop,” he warns her, his hand shaking and face turning red with rage.  

"Go ahead, shoot me," she replies, her voice unwavering. As the gun presses firmly against her head, she shuts her eyes. The sound of the gun clicking makes her brace for the bullet that could take her life.  

A gunshot echoes, making her flinch, but when she doesn’t feel the grip of death, she opens her eyes to see Hongjoong in front of her, holding the gun she had kicked away from Mi-Rae, while her lifeless father lies on the ground.  

"Hongjoong?" she whispers softly, her eyes wide with surprise and heart pounding against her chest, uncertain if she has truly escaped death.  

He hears her, and in an instant, the gun drops from his hand, clattering to the ground as he kneels in front of her. The world around them fades away, and she throws herself into his arms. He holds her close, as her tears flow freely, as she buries her face into his shoulder, the flood of emotions she’s been holding back all week finally pouring out. 

“I thought I lost you,” she whispers, her voice muffled against the fabric of his shirt. 

“I told you I’m not going anywhere,” he assures her, his voice hoarse from not having used it for a week. He pulls back, lifting her head so he can look at her. “We’re even now,” he smiles at her lovingly as he wipes her tears away.  

She chuckles and brings him in for a kiss. “I love you,” she says after pulling away. 

“I love you too,” he replies bringing her back in for another kiss. 

15 Months Later.

Y/N walks into the at home office she shares with Hongjoong, her voice bright and cheerful as she sings "Happy Birthday" to her husband. She cradles their nine-month-old daughter, who giggles in delight at the sound of her mother’s voice, in one arm while her free hand holds on to a plate with a small birthday cake on it. 

Hongjoong looks up from his work, a surprised smile spreading across his face as he takes in the sight of his wife and daughter. His heart swells with affection as he watches his little family approach him. The office, usually filled with work and meetings transforms into a sanctuary of love and celebration. 

"Happy Birthday, my love," Y/N exclaims when she finishes singing.  

Hongjoong stands up, blows out the single candle in the cake and scoops both Y/N and their daughter into a warm embrace, feeling the stress of the paperwork, he’d been working on lifts off his shoulders.  

Not long after the events of last year, they found out that Y/N was pregnant and further along than they had anticipated. Given everything, they had been through, the happy news came at just the right time, giving the couple something to be excited about and look forward to. There were many instances when they thought about how close they came to missing out on where they are now. The thought of what could have been, had circumstances been different, often lingered in their minds, but now, with their daughter nestled between them, those worries felt distant. 

"Thank you," he whispers, his voice thick with emotion. He gently takes their daughter from Y/N as she sets the cake on the desk. "What have my two favorite girls been up to?" 

"We spent most of the morning brainstorming ways to lure you away from work so you could celebrate your birthday with us instead of being shut in the office all day," Y/N replies, her tone playful and teasing. "We figured a cake and gifts might do the trick." 

Hongjoong chuckles, his eyes sparkling with affection as he cradles their daughter against his chest. She coos softly, her tiny fingers reaching out to grasp at his shirt as she relaxes in his arms. 

"You two are the only birthday gifts I need," he says, his voice warm and sincere. He glances at the cake, a sitting on his desk. "Did you bake that yourself?" 

"Remember the last time I attempted to bake a cake? I think the smoke alarm still has PTSD from that disaster," Y/N chuckles, shaking her head at the memory. The last time she attempted to do any kind of baking she burnt it to a crisp. Cooking was fine, but baking just isn't her strong suit.  

"Well, I think your plan is working," he smiles. "Shall we get out of here?" 

Y/N nods and picks up the cake again, following Hongjoong out of their home office and down the stairs to the kitchen. 

Once they reach the kitchen, Y/N sets the cake down on the kitchen island and grabs a knife for Hongjoong to cut it. 

“Okay, birthday boy, what’s the plan?” Y/N asks as she leans against the counter, watching him cut the cake into pieces. "I got us this far. You can come up with the rest." 

"How about we pack a bag or two and head to the beach for the weekend? No work. No empire. Just me and my ladies," he suggests.

Y/N's eyes light up at the idea, a smile spreading across her face. "The beach? That sounds perfect to me." 

"Let's do it then," he says as he finishes slicing the cake and hands her a piece.

Mean Girls Fanfic Gift Exchange!

A few of us in the fandom are organizing an AO3 gift exchange for Mean Girls Day (October 3rd)! If you would like to participate, check out the link above! Rules are below, and FAQs are under the cut!

Rules:

1. All works must be centered around Mean Girls. You may add side fandoms or center around specific renditions of it (2004, Broadway, Tour, 2024, etc) but it must be around the Mean Girls Universe.

2. All gift fics must be at least 500 words in length. There is no maximum limit on words, so go wild!

3. If you don’t think you’re able to finish a work, please contact one of the mods. This is in order to prevent people from not getting anything gifted.

4. All gift art must be fully finished. Submissions of only partially completed works will be removed.

5. All gifters must respect their giftee's triggers/DNWs. Any gift fics submitted that contain content that was specifically marked as triggering or unwanted by the giftee will be deleted, and you will be removed from the challenge.

Q: What do I have to do to participate?

You must send a request of something you want someone to make a work about, and do an offer for a piece you're willing to work on. Everyone must do at least one work and will receive at least one work.

Q: Do I need to have two separate requests for my sign-up?

A: No. You are allowed to submit up to two so your gifter has the ability to choose a prompt they feel most confident creating a gift for. You are welcome to submit only one. We can only guarantee at least one request to be fulfilled.

Q: When are the gifts due?

A: Your gift must be submitted by Oct 3rd, 2024.

Q: Can I create a gift for more than one of my giftee's requests?

A: Yes. You can put up to two offers and in case there’s a match, you can do up to two works.

Q: Do my request prompts have to be specific?

A: No. Your prompts can be anything you would like, from one word up to a summary for a complex plot idea.

Q: What is an offer, and what do I put in it?

A: Your offer is where you list what kind of gift you would like to make, and what your limitations are. Any pairing you list, for example, is one you are offering to write/draw/etc. Be specific about what you will and will not create in the offer description as this will help to better match you with a giftee. You can post up to two offers with different limitations.

Q: Can I create art rather than writing a fic?

panic attacks and cuddles

cw/tw; panic attack (no shit but y'know), spiraling, depression, negative self-talk, depressive episode

seasonal depression is nothing new, in fact it's something you're far more used to than you'd like to be. while some loved winter, for you it was the time of year where any regular depression was compounded by the gloom of late dawns and early sunsets and the inability to enjoy going outside.

the difference this time is that you have a boyfriend, and you wish that you could be happy, wish that you could be grateful, but wrapped tightly in a blanket as you watch the grey sky outside the window across your room, you can feel the creeping sensation of a panic attack starting to crawl across your skin. in some part of your brain you can hear your phone buzzing, but the buzzing melds into the feelings of panic, and you curl further into yourself.

the sun is setting, almost set, blanketing your room in darkness. you know that turning on your lights would help, would make this whole thing less suffocating, but it's so much easier to just resign yourself. getting up to turn on the light takes effort, but simply spiraling further takes nothing at all.

your phone is buzzing again, another thing you know you should pay attention to, but you just can't drag yourself out of your own head long enough to do anything about it. it feels like the world is collapsing onto you, and for a moment you wish it would.

you lift your head slightly, the world is in black and white, and it feels like all your senses are muffled by cotton wool. you drop your forehead back onto your knees, the energy it takes to keep it raised somehow more than you have in you.

you're not sure how long it's been, after the sun has set there's nothing left to indicate the time. you're trying to find the strength to get out of bed, to do anything, even just to look up.

from your blanket cocoon, you can see something light beyond your eyelids. for a second you think you're seeing things, maybe you pressed on your eyes by accident, but you don't actually feel any pressure on your eyes.

not sure what's happening, you lift your head slightly, almost immediately being met with the sight of your boyfriend standing near the door to your room. he's not looking at you, he's looking at your room, and you realize that he hasn't actually seen it before. you're suddenly very aware of the piles of stuffed toys scattered around, the posters on the walls, the makeup and jewelry strewn across the top of your dresser, the mess on your desk, the clothes piled in the corner. it feels as if every flaw in your personality is somehow scrawled across the room in glaring red letters.

and yet, when he notices you looking at him, changbin turns and smiles at you. in that moment, you feel like you might cry. as you feel yourself choking up, his eyes soften with concern. placing the bag he's holding on the floor, he carefully sits down next to you on your bed.

"hey, what's wrong?" you feel him pull you into his side, "talk to me bubs."

instead of talking, you feel tears start running down your face, changbin wiping them away as fast as they fall. he leaves feather-light kisses across your nose and cheeks.

you say it without thinking, "i love you," and once you've said it once it's like a floodgate has opened, you're repeating it so quickly that it becomes an incoherent babble, changbin peppering kisses across your face the whole time.

it takes time for you to calm down, more than you'd like, not keen on being seen in this state. but changbin sits and rubs your back as you try to pull yourself back into some kind of human form, a silent support.

it's only when you've stopped crying, are a more solid person than you'd been, he says it back.

"i love you too, now let's eat, yeah?"

you hum slightly, leaning further into his side, "nap with me?"

changbin sighs and flops onto his side, pulling you down with him, pulling up the blankets to cover you both. you quickly snuggle into him, grateful for the extra warmth.

"get some rest," you feel him place a kiss on your forehead, "i love you."

"i love you too," you mumble, already half-asleep.

hey all. with the recent blackout Gaza experienced, I’ve seen posts circulating on Twitter asking for e-sim donations as a way of helping Palestinians stay connected. while service has been restored to some, it’s important that we make sure we can help circumvent another blackout should it happen again

It’s disgusting, but I’ve found another list of alternatives via Twitter that I hope will continue to work as a way of keeping those in Gaza connected. THOUGH, some users are saying that a Global plan may also work but no confirmation yet.

Welcome one and all to the third annual Angbang appreciation event! Whether you're a previous participant, new to either tumblr or this pairing, or simply an event enjoyer who views and shares the new content, thank you for stopping by and taking a look! This year we have chosen to begin on a Monday with new dates rather than midweek, so the date of the event itself is a little later than in previous years, but everything else stays the same. (Prompts and additional explanation/info below the cut)

We would like to greet all new and returning participants and Angbang enjoyers alike to this year's week-long chaos couple event. Feel free to save the date or even spread this around if you're interested. As usual, any and all participation is welcome! We will be accepting any and all original creations for the upcoming event - visual, written or auditory, which is including but not limited to Fanfiction, Poetry, art both traditional and digital, playlists or other musical creations, moodboards, and anything else you may come up with. So long as they're new, or as of yet unpublished, created by you and feature Angbang, we want to see them and feature them! Unless it's an entire temple. LADIES, GENTLEMEN, MONARCHS AND ALL!

I present to you: Holiday Bingo!

Now, if you all remember: I made a poll with two options of team vs and decorate a thingy. The latter one won, and that results in this!

Holiday Window! For every bingo spot that gets filled, I will add a small decor to the window. For every blackout, there will be a big decor added.

Now, you may ask: “What about a bingo?” Well since December is famous for being the busiest month ever, I made the boards 3x3 instead of the regular 5x5 to make it easier to participate.

Q. How do I participate?

A. When the official bingo cards go up, you can reblog the card you’re gonna use. After that, you just fill out the prompts with either a drawing or writing. Once you are done, post the board you’re using with the prompt you chose crossed off along with what you made for that prompt (edit: please also @ this bling when you cross a prompt)

Q. What if I make a blackout on my bingo board?

A. If you end up getting a blackout but still wanna do more, then grab another bingo board! Ex: If you blackout on Peppermint Lane, you can fill out the prompts on Candle Night. If you blackout on Candle Night, you have two more options. If you get a blackout on all four… what in gods name is fueling you? (/silly)

Q. Do I draw or write?

A. You can either or both!

Q. What if I only do one prompt and can’t do anymore?

A. Completely chill! Everyone has something going on, I ain’t gonna chastise you for only doing one prompt on your bingo board.

A. It does not! If you don’t celebrate any of the holidays in December, you do not have to include those in what you create. On that same note, if you would like to include a holiday, go for it! Whether it be Christmas, Kwanzaa, Chanukah, Yule, or any other holiday in December! Do what you enjoy and will make you happy.

Q. When is the deadline?

A. This event will stay live from November 24th to January 1st. January 1st will be the last day to post any prompts on your bingo board.

Q. Why did you choose a window to decorate?

A. There are some times where I can’t draw for shit, and this is one of those times.

The one with the prompt month

First of all, I was not expecting as many people to vote on that poll as they did. With just under a day before it closes, we’re at almost 200 votes, which is…several times more than what I expected. Now, I was prepared to run this even if it only got 20 votes, so Last Days of War January 2025 is absolutely going forward now. 

With that in mind, I’ve put together this post with some questions I think might need to be answered in regards to the event, though if anyone has anything else to ask, please feel free to! 

The Questions: 

What is a prompt month?

It’s the same principle as challenges such as Inktober, really. A calendar of prompts is released prior to the event itself, with a prompt or several prompts to each day of the challenge month. 

The prompts will be kept fairly loose to ensure that they’re suitable for whatever medium people may use, but as many of them as possible will be Pacific Rim themed, taking inspiration from the first movie as well as the comic books. 

The current plan (inspiration providing) is to assign three short prompts to each day in the month of January, which participants can pick and choose from, or try to use all three! This is, of course, dependent on having more than ninety prompts of a good quality, and that plan could still change. At the very least, there will be one prompt for each day. All going well, the prompt calendar will be made and posted by early November to maximise prep time.

How to take part? 

There’s no sign-up necessary, so you participate simply by following along with the prompt calendar throughout the month! 

Make sure to use the tag  ‘#last days of war 2025’ and/or tag @lastdaysofwar on tumblr so that others can find your posts and the mod can reblog them onto the event page! 

An Ao3 collection will also be made for the event so that anyone who posts over there can add their works and make them easier to locate. 

Rules/Guidelines: 

Honestly, it’s a bit of a free for all. The mod (hi!) is mostly here to facilitate the event by doing the prompts, answering questions and reblogging posts. The people have the power in this one. 

All I will ask is that everyone be respectful to one another. If someone posts something that you don’t personally like, don’t harass them over it, just scroll past. We’re all here to have fun and enjoy the event in our own way. 

Also, please try to interact with each others’ posts! Take a look through the tag to see what others have made, and make sure to let them know if you enjoy it. We all love hearing that people liked our stuff.

Thinking about how Itadori and Fushiguro were probably never suppose to meet.

Feel free to disagree with my argument or chalk it up to me being a sad ass bitch, but it does feel like that.

Why do I feel like this?

Well, I can’t pinpoint the exact reasons for why I feel this way, I can give some evidence to back it up. I know that JJK is a shonen and it was going to start with Itadori Yuji and end with or without him.

Ofc the most obvious one is Yuji’s death and path leading up to it.

(I will refer to the manga at this point if I will put anime screenshots if I just have them at hand)

Their first meeting

As you can see Fushiguro was impressed by Itadori’s natural strength. Even comparing him to Maki. However that was the extent he was willing to give to a random person. A very one sided interaction.

Until

This is the moment the narrative shifts for both Megumi and Yuji. Yuji carrying a curse since the beginning of their meeting (how ironic!) and Megumi is going after him. Sure it’s to retrieve Sukuna’s finger but it’s there.

For anyone who doesn’t know for some odd reason, Megumi’s name translates to Blessing hence why Toji and mama Fushiguro call him such. Yes, his name meaning is important to not only Yuji but to the major players such as Gojo.

Also we have to talk about Grandpa Itadori’s last request.

Of course we know now that Grandpa’s last words were a curse to Yuji. How this last request shapes Yuji as a person in the coming chapters. Another curse to add to the list of curses. (Do the note the rule of three)

Then we get the scene in the hospital after Yuji’s grandfather dies. (Abridged for time)

This is when the plot finally kicks in. Yuji unknowably putting his friends in danger and Megumi has to go save them and the finger. I don’t personally count this as a curse for Yuji as it’s just the direct effect of the first curse I noted. Remember that Yuji comes in when he remembers his grandpa’s words.

Then finally we get to the final curse

Ryomen Sukuna

Itadori Yuji’s last and final curse that sealed his fate. The very thing that led him to the path he’s in. Not just him but also Fushiguro Megumi. From Shibuya to the current arc (Chapter 244-245) both of them have been by each other’s side trying their best to break this curse.

Remember, Yuji was going to be executed once he ate the first finger but due to Gojo’s interference and Megumi’s own personal feelings he was given a choice.

The first chapter really set them up to meet each other regardless of the factors that scream don’t do it/don’t follow him. Especially in hindsight, you can feel the tragedy brewing before it even begins. You somewhat know the consequences in the first chapter and it only grows worse in the second.

But that what makes a good tragedy.

Fuck you Gege you one eye cat

Now I’m gonna bring up chapter 9 for a bit because it’s history is very interesting. Gege did say that if the series didn’t do well, he will leave Yuji dead. (Ofc this didn’t happen and please help me find the source of this information. I know it was stated in an interview but I couldn’t find a translated version.)

Even then, it just solidifies my feelings.

This is the ending of the story. How it’s suppose to end.

Someone said that this seemed like a confession and I have to agree. Whether it’s romantic or platonic, Fushiguro’s feelings for Itadori are real.

Hear that?

That’s me sobbing.

With the recent chapters, it seem bleak but I believe that we will see Fushiguro again.

Yuji and Megumi will meet again maybe for the last time. I’m not Gege, but I trust him not really to give them a proper ending.

This is the easiest one! Just go out and find a fic you like and leave a kudos on it, if you haven’t already. It’s a small gesture but it makes an author know that someone actually read their story!

- ‘reblog/retweet an art post’

Find any art post you like and share it! Here’s the catch: you need to interact with it a little. When you reblog/retweet, please tell the creator what you thought about the piece – you can add some tags, or reply to the post, or quote-retweet or add a comment, or anything! A simple “I love this!” is nice but some details are even better (“your linework is so good!” or “that shade of blue is perfect”). One thing to think about: a lot of art on Tumblr is reposted (like when a user posts another artist’s work from Pixiv, say), so it’s nice if you make an effort to interact with posts that are actually from the creator if you can. That way the artist will see your comment!

- ‘reblog/retweet a fic post’

Same as the above, but for fic! Again, tags/replies/comments are needed, preferably with a little detail. You don’t need to be super eloquent or leave a detailed review (although if you have time/energy, that would be appreciated!); a tag as simple as “that was really cute” or “great characterization!” will do. Like with the art posts, it’s nice if you reblog directly from the writer (if you can) – some fics are posted by AO3 feed bots and the like, so the author may not even know a reblog has happened.

- ‘reblog/retweet an edit’

Same as the above, but for edits! Edits can include a gif set, or a set of screencaps, or even a fanvid. And, again, some simple tags/replies are needed. “I love that song choice!” for a vid or “great coloring!” on a gifset can let people know their work is being appreciated.

- ‘comment on a fic’

Find a fic, on any fic-hosting site you like, and leave a comment. That’s it! Again, no need to leave a novel-length comment (unless you’re inspired!) – a sentence or two is all we’re asking for this square to be considered complete. This is a great opportunity to let a writer know how their piece made you feel, or what section you particularly liked.

- ‘message a creator’

‘Creator’ here can mean anyone who makes *anything* to do with fandom: art, edits, fic, meta, knitted sweaters with character faces on them – if they’ve made anything, they’re a creator, and now’s your chance to let them know they’re appreciated. Send a message (anonymous or not!) letting them know that you enjoyed their work!

- ‘make a rec post’

This is a chance to tell your fandom friends about something they need to see. You can rec a fic, a blog, a fan event, an artist, an author, that person who knits sweaters with character faces – any kind of fandom thing that you want to make sure people see. This doesn’t have to be long or complicated, but feel free to go into as much detail as you want! Just make your own post, on Tumblr or Twitter or wherever else seems best to you, and give that thing you loved a little fanfare.

- ‘interact with a meta post’

A little love for our analytical friends! Here, you can reblog/retweet any kind of meta post for your fandom, whether it’s a three sentence headcanon or an essay-length dissection of why Character X is the absolute best character in Fandom Y. It’s even better if you respond to the meta, whether that’s agreeing or (respectfully!) adding your own thoughts, but sharing it is the main thing here.

About the AU

((This AU takes place in 2024, or whatever year it is in the present. However, the Warners will not age in real time. The Warners are two years older than they are in canon, so Yakko is 16, Wakko is 13, and Dot is 11, though I do have some fanfictions where they're only a year older. Yakko started a rock band with two of my OCs, Cleff and Winona. Yakko and Wakko also both have partners who are OCs. Here are some pictures to give you a bit more info on these versions of the Warners.))

Canon

((What's canon and what is not canon to this AU? The events of the 1993 series all happened and were televised, but it wasn't a scripted show. The Warners genuinely got into those situations and they just got on TV somehow. These Warners hold no ill will towards anyone who works for Warner Bros. aside from Thaddeus Plotz, and the reasons they hate Plotz are unrelated to the show itself. Wakko's Wish did not happen and neither did the 2020 reboot. Norita does not exist, and Plotz is still the CEO of Warner Bros. with no plans of retirement. Hello Nurse, however, has taken a job with another company (not Doctors Without Borders) and the Warners haven't seen her in a while. Chicken Boo also did not try to kill everyone and is actually a friend of the Warners (though you won't see him around much). If a question based on reboot knowledge is asked to these Warners, they'll probably be confused, if I respond to the question at all.))

They don't have to be polished words, just words on the page/screen. Some of our members use it kind of like ADHD body-doubling, even if there's no one else around to sprint with them! Fair warning: this is an Au in collab with @weirdcore-fantasy, my dear brother, as they were the one that managed to watch the RPG. I only read the rule book and the wiki... a lot actually.

BASIC UNIVERSE INFO:

"The Paranormal doesn't come to our reality easily". Our reality and the paranormal reality, are almost paralleled, in a sense. They coexist, with same places being in the same location, but the way the world works is wildly different. WHile we follow the laws of physics and the rules of the matter, the Paranormal reality is not like that. Chaos, and absurdity thrives in that. Between the two worlds exists this force, called The Membrane. It makes our reality safe from the monsters and other horrors in the Paranormal side, also called Other Side. However, it can be damaged. Mostly by the Fear that people have. This fear breaks the membrane isn specific shapes, in which the paranormal takes to manifest in specific forms in our reality. Ordo Realitas is a secret organization, leaded by the mysterious Mr. Verissimo, in which their agents specialized in the Other Side fight against the evil and make sure the major population has no knowledge of it. The Other Side manifestates in 5 different "types" of beings and events, called the Elements of the Other Side. Element of Blood The Blood is the entity of Feelings. It seeks the intensity: pain, obsession, passion, love, hunger, hatred - everything envolving feeling an extreme emotion pleases the Blood Entity. The extreme feelings of Blood surpass the Knowledge's reason and calmness. Element of Knowledge The Knowledge is the entity of consciousness. Discovering, learning, knowing, deciphering. Having one's own perception of the Other Side and its entities pleases the Knowledge element. The reason and logic of Knowledge reintegrate and suppress the Energy's chaos. Element of Energy The Energy is the entity of Chaos. Everything that cannot be explained, the intangible, anarchy. The constant change, the heat and the cold, the light and the darkness. Everything that involves unpredictability and transformation pleases the Energy Entity. The Energy's transformation overloads the Death's effects. Element of Death The Death is the entity of Time. It seeks the lived moments, distorting the egocentric perception of each individual's existence for its own satisfaction. The temporal distortion of Death ruins the Blood's carnal perception. You may notice I've only touched 4 of the 5 elements. These are the elements that are able to penetrate our reality and manifest itself, as they have entities and relics in our reality. the fifth Element is the Element of Fear The Fear is the entity of the unknown and the infinity. Present since the dawn of humanity, it changes the nature of the universe. Its differentiated existence is a mystery. The Fear cannot exist as a beign or as a physical form. Anyone touched by teh Fear Element is someone transported to the place on The Other Side,The city that doesn't exists, the City of Tenebris.

BASIC STORYLINE INFO:

As common knowledge by those who fight the paranormal, Ordo Realitas has bases all around the world, as the fight against the paranormal is not something set in only one place. One of the branches is the Nycticorax or Night Raven branch. Where young prodigies, from all over the world, join into teams in training, with seemingly minor missions, so that they may learn how to be great agents. (All TWST cast is made into prodigies who, in some form or another, had contact with the paranormal, and due to their great skillsets, they were contacted to become agents in training.) (the characters, for the means of this au, are treated as if they were player characters made for the universe of AOP.)
