Murder Drones Fanfic - True Blue
The Elliott Family Patriarch sat on the edge of his daughter's bed.
Tessa had finally gotten her big girl bed, no more railings or cribs for James' now 4 year old girl.
"Dad?" the little Aussie tot asked curiously, "I'm kind of scared to sleep in my big girl bed, what if I fall off the edge." She held a plush koala close to her and tilted her head like a puppy. "You'll be ALL the way down the hall and won't be able to catch me," Tessa insisted with a little laugh before responding, "it wouldn't be fun like jumping off the bottom stairs."
James patted Tessa's back gently and offered, "Tell ya what, Tessie, I'll stay here for tonight." The fellow took off his top hat and put it on Tessa's head. "I bet you're brimming with energy, Pumpkin Muffin."
Tessa giggled a little and let out a tiny yawn, "I'm not tired at all, Dad!" She didn't feel entirely tired, like she felt she could go play for a while yet before she would pass out. "Can we play Crocodile?"
"No, mate, you're too tired," James insisted cheerfully as he patted her on the back, "You wouldn't want to sleep in the croco's jaws, would ya?"
Tessa giggled and pulled her Dad's hat over her eyes as she squealed, "No! Then I'd be gobbled up like a midnight snack!" She then thought of something. "Could you pretend I'm a baby again? I was too young to remember it."
The pale grey eyes of the Australian JC Jensen Exec looked inquisitive, he raised an eyebrow as he teased, "You're much bigger than you were when you were born, you were just a little wallaby." He then picked Tessa up in his arms, doing his best to emulate holding her like an infant. "But, I would hold you like this!"
Tessa giggled with delight, the top hat toppling off her head and onto the bed beside her dad. She giggled as he started to cradle her in his arms and sway her back and forth.
"I'd rock you to sleep, like this."
"Yeah well, it's not gonna work, I'm not sleepy," the Aussie girl with the dutch-style braids retorted cheekily before she stuck her tongue out.
"But that wasn't all, I would sing to you, like I still do," The fellow responded proudly before asking his daughter, "Do you want me to sing the song I would sing to you?"
The Elliot family tot nodded excitedly, she loved hearing her dad sing.
"Well, You might know this one pretty well," James whispered, pretending like he had to be quiet because of a sleeping baby.
Tessa emulated that mentality of being quiet and made a cute "shhhh" sound as she was ready to hear her Father sing.
"Hey True Blue Don't Say You've Gone Say you've knocked of for a smoko And'll be back later on. Hey True Blue Hey True Blue, Give it too me straight, Face to face, Are you really disappearing? Just another dying race? Hey True Blue."
James sang as he rocked his daughter like an infant in his arms, looking down at Tessa who was holding onto one of her braids like it was a stuffed animal, seeing his daughter getting sleepier, he kept singing,
"Hey True Blue Is it Me and You? Is it Mum and Dad, Is it a Cockatoo?
Is it standing by your mate When she's in a fight? Or just Vegi-miiiite True Blue, I'm Asking Yoooou"
He waited to see if Tessa would sing the next part, but he noticed she was already fast asleep. James set her down in her bed and ruffled her bangs gently before putting her favourite plush toys around her, a turquoise bat, a gold coloured dingo, a floppy wallaby, and a plush of a white horse with a long mane of silver yarn. He put his hat back on, went over to the chair in the corner of her room where he would read stories to her, and he propped his feet up on the ottoman.
Tessa cozied up to her plushies, sleeping peacefully like an angel.
"Good night, Tessie, I'll be right here if you need me,"
The End

Cor Blimey, Dad, thank you! Hearing this means so much to me!
So then, James? Do you realize your daughter , @xxrobotessaxx ,is a hairdresser now?
Are you proud of her? Do you think she got any talent from you?
I'm sure Tessa doesn't remember when I used to braid her hair when she was a tot. All she knew was, when I sang she would sit still, and then it was time to go play again.
But insisting that her talent could've been a gift from me? Goodness no, I only learned what I did from caring for horses. I almost think Tessa had to learn on her own because...
-checks to make sure Louisa isn't listening- Louisa's tactics weren't very kind or gentle, and I was at work. Either way, I'm proud of our Robotic Tessa for running her own beauty parlour, she gets to make all the drones feel happy and beautiful

INSANE!AU - Tessa James Elliot
!!!! Chemical burns & scars Trigger Warning !!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The very requested Tessa is here, click on the images for better quality.
More infos under the cut
About the healed Chemical burns: one day, when reviving a drone from the dead like always. The drone unexpectedly woke up and slapped her hand away, dropping the bottle of harsh products on herself. Touching her face and legs. (The drone screamed nonsense before realizing what happened. He didn't survive.)
Scratches all over her body, she had to cut her nails short enough to stop ripping her skin to shreds. Now it just marks and maybe bleed a little if she's really stressed. Her skin becomes itchy and the clothes unbearable when the panic sets in.
Idiosyncratic language user, she always talk in a formal way at the same time. Making outsiders wonder if she really speaks English or not. A messy mix of Australian and French slangs, formal English and teenager dialect.
Have to wear gloves to hide the state of her hands
Some people say she looks angry or at their souls
Nearly Only sleeps on the rocking chair in her room, cyn likes to tease her about being a old lady of 4 drones (reference of the cat ladies). Tessa hates it lol
Occult and paranormal fanatic, she still despite the unexplainable of it, but it's fun nonetheless. J says it's bullshit-
Always feels watched, cannot relax without having a "What if" thought, even if she checked her room for any spying devices almost every week. Nothing, but she knows.
Her room was her primary workshop/lab before having to move elsewhere (basement) when they found that the products she's using was intoxicating her whole bedroom, resulting of a huge fever and a "There's a monster under my bed" situation.
Absolutely hates the lessons her parents forces her to have, she's bad at both of the instruments. Her general (math, history, ectect) studies are also boring, being locked to her own desk, she struggles to even listen to the teacher. Somehow have bad-decent notes. But never enough for her mother who scolds her and punish her after each exams she takes.
Heavy eyebags/dark circles, seems to always had them since she was 5.
Undescriptive haircut, father couldn't care less, mother always become furious when she saw her without the low pigtails.
Shy around other humans
Her parents arrange dates with boys her age, sadly when they see her bones collection they go cry under their mother's petticoat. Lol.
Always see huge spooky snake thingies in the corner of her eyes. Cyn and N says it's just the fatigue.
Knows about the Solver, it was never hostile towards her, taking the form of a camera of some sort both it and Cyn acted like parent-daughter, Solver always wants left over oil. Tessa didn't want her friends to starve so she buys more and more oil. Also why is there bite marks on the drones she's repairing?
Likes to hangout and have tea parties with Cyn and Solver, they talk about anything and nothing at the same time, like the other day! It said that whole monologue about the best family is the one we choosed. Or the time cyn rambled about how great it is to be like them. Free from any rules, anything that could stop them... She wonders about the weird symbols though.

Preparations for the Gala
N - *braiding Tessa's hair*
V - *reading from a big book* lets try this again, when greeting a guest you?
Tessa - ...You introduce yourself, thank them for the honour of talking to them, then curtsy.
V - no. You introduce yourself, curtsy, then thank them for the honour of talking to them.
Tessa - ughh, all this prim and proper stuff is so overwhelming. Whats wrong with a simple hello.
N - I actually think all this sounds fun.
Tessa - then, good sir, you may take my place.
N - I'd rather not.
Tessa - ha! So you don't think this all sounds fun.
N - no, not at all.
Tessa - so why don't you want to take my place then?
N - ummm... because your dress wouldn't look good on me? (:
*chuckling*
James - *walking in*
Tessa - *standing up straight* Father?!
James - ah, Tessa there you are; well don't you look beautiful, I hope my wonderful daughter is all prepared for the gala tonight. Your hair looks wonderful.
Tessa - ...ummm what?
James - look, I know this is not 'your thing' but I'm sure you'll do wonderfully, you're an Elliot after all.
Tessa - you wouldn't say that.
James - excuse me?
Tessa - you wouldn't say that, you've never called me beautiful or noted my hair or cared about my feelings!
James - Tessa. I'm sorry that I've been an absent father all this time but I'm here now and want to try and make things,
Tessa - STOP! NO NO NO! THIS ISN'T RIGHT! CYN PLEASE I'VE HAD ENOUGH.
James - ...
*the hologram dissipates*
Cyn - I thought, this is what you wanted?
Tessa - it is! It was so wonderful, I wanted to cry... but it's a fantasy, its not real. It could never be real!
Cyn - Do you, want to try again?
Tessa - I... don't know. Is the world out there really horrible.
Cyn - ...yes
Tessa - ...
Cyn - do you, want to die?
Tessa - what
Cyn - I could, end this suffering.
Tessa - robo-God! No! I don't want to die.
Cyn - What do you want then?
Tessa - ...
*long silence*
Tessa - I want N, I miss him! And V and the old you and J?! J?! off all stupid people to miss?!
Cyn - They have a duty, they live only in reality. Out there, empires fall and humans burn. As a human, I could not command your safety.
Tessa - I... I understand. I'm sorry for stepping out of line.
Cyn - ...do you really miss him?
Tessa - with all my heart.
Cyn - then I can help you... but you'd have to discard what makes you human. You'll live forever with us, an accursed existence, feeding of the flesh of humanity. *holding out a solver heart* I could make you one of us.
Tessa - is this... the only way for me to meet N again?
Cyn - ...yes.
Tessa - ...

Memories
Depictions of death and abuse
I remember being called inside a room by a man. I was unconfortable, but obeying was my duty. It was either that or dying, and I can't die, not when I can still live with him.
Inside the room, the man was sitting on the bed, giving an eerie smile. He looked at me, seeing every part of my body, licking his lips. I knew what he wanted, it was not uncommon.
"Come here child" My stomach hurt and filled with disgust, but I had to hold it, I had to obey. I walked close to him and slowly took my clothes out.
The mansion was pretty calm, no sound could be heard aside from the humans talking to eachother. Maids and Butlers were serving people on the room. I could see that most were doing their jobs, but I haven't seen L, O, Y, and S since yesterday.
They were probably slacking off again, like they always do. In the distance I see a little girl, sadly walking by the other humans. The girl sees me and runs towards my direction.
"Hey J" The girl waved to me. Her expression getting brighter, with a smile forming on her mouth.
"Hello Miss Tessa, what is your order?" I say with a stern tone.
"I don't have any orders now. I just want to talk" She said, leaning on the balcony, on our side.
"I'm afriad I can't do that Miss. I have a job to do right now" I take a plate with food and drinks.
"Aw, c'mon J. There are so many alredy doing their tasks. One less isn't going to break everything" She said with sad eyes, placing her hands together on the side of her cheeks.
"I'm sorry Miss, but I can't, there are alredy four slacking off. On that note, I'm sorry to ask this to you, but could you tell someone to catch the four slacking drones?"
"You don't need the formality with me J, you know that, but who are the slaking?"
"L, O, Y and S. They are probably in the basement" She said, as she made her way to serve those rich bastards.
I start walking. J did ask me to order a drone to check them, but I don't want to, so I'm gonna see it myself. On the way there, I walk by my parents room. It seems that they are having another argument, so better walk as fast as I can.
I hear the sound of door opening. My heart feels the grip of fear, my blood turning cold, making me shiver.
"Tessa! Come here, right now" My ftaher screams are loud and full of force. I know he's not asking, and I know what's going to happen. I see a little butler drone, helping a maid drone with glasses walking down the hall.
"N, V! Could you guys check the basement and library for 4 drone?" I scream, before my arm is grabbed by my father. I can smell the alcohol he has been drinking, vodka.
James throws his daughter inside the room and locks the door behind him. I look at V with a worried face. This wasn't the first time this happened, but it never ended well. We could only hope for the best.
"I'll check the library. You go check the basement" V said.
"Are you sure. Doesn't it hurt to-"
"Shut up. I can go to the library" V said as she pushed me with a little blush on her visor, walking away stumbling a bit. It clearly hurts, but why does she deny my help? Am I really that annoying to her?
I forget that and walk to the basement. This place always creeped me. Some drones say that the Elliots make experiments down here. Raptor drones, crown drones, all type of weird crap.
Most just laugh it off, but can they trully deny that the Elliots could do that one day?
I open the basement door. The stair down is completely dark, like always. A lot of accidents happened here, because of this darkness...
Good job N, now you're more afraid than before. Why do you always do that?
I can feel the cold in my metal skin, it makes this place even more sinister. Descending the stair a little more, I smell the putrid smell of dry oil.
Why is there dry oil here? Did something happen to a drone? Did someone do something to a drone? Or... Did a drone do something to themselves?
My legs start to give up. The fear makes my body weak, I feel the pressure getting stronger, the air getting thicker, the smell getting worse. My stomach moves from place to place, wanting to spill out the liquid it produces, but I hold it in.
When I reach the end of the stairs, my eyes hollow. On the ceiling there is four chain, four arms being held in each of them. The floor is covered in oil, it sticks my foot to the ground. I can't hold in any longer. Whatever was inside of me, is thrown out.
My vomit mixes with the oil on the ground, making a pond of disgust. I have to get out of here, fast!
When I look back, I see that the basement door is closing. I try to reach it, but my light is cut short.
I walk to the library with a lot of effort. I hate this place, I hate humans. They're all pigs that should be exterminated!
Unfortunaly I can't do anything. I'll live like this and die like this. At least I caan by N's side. That is if he doesn't give up on me.
Why am I always so rude to him? He's always nice and kind, but me? I'm a monster. I push him away as if he was disposable drone, as if he doesn't matter.
If things keep going like this... Let's just get the drones and go back to doing our duty.
I enter the library. The bookshelves are huge, reaching the ceilings. Looking from down here it doesn't seem that they have an end. There is a variety of books here, from phylosophy to math. Everything can be found here, but no one ever comes.
I continue walking, looking for any drones that might be here. On the end of the library, I see a little worker, fuck, it's C.
Always acting strange. There's something wrong with them. It seems that they are doing something, must be them that I was sent to find, since there are no more drones out here.
I walk closer to C, but something takes my attention. There's a black liquid, it smells like oil, dripping from the desk C is in. Are they cutting themselves?
Before I walk to them. C turns to face me.
"Hello V. Evil smile" I back away a bit.
"H-Hey. I think the Elliots are calling you" C looks back at the desk.
"Giggle. I wanted to have a talk with them" C gets up and jumps from the chair.
My eyes hollow. No, this can't be, this can't be real. On the desk C was in, I see N's head, oil dripping from his decapitated neck. His visor showing a red warning, with some wires coming out of his head.
I start walking back. This can't be happening. I look at C, but they were alredy gone. Why did they do this? Why N? Why?
"Evil laugh. The reason is pretty simple S I S T E R"

Ghosts of the Shadow Market by Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan, Maureen Johnson, Kelly Link and Robin Wasserman
Tumblr media
The Shadow Market is a place that has been around for centuries. An odd community where faeries, warlocks, werewolves, shadowhunters and the like have come to trade secrets and goods, information and magic. Over its many years, in multiple cities, it has had a visitor who keeps coming back for one reason or another. Brother Zachariah, James Carstairs, Jem, or however you know him, has been attending various Shadow Markets for the majority of his existence. Follow Jem’s journeys through the Shadow Markets of the past and present as he meets friends and family, fights evil and finds love in this wonderful collection of stories bound to entrance you.
–SPOILERS–
Okay, let me just say that overall this book was a blessing and I couldn’t have anticipated (and trust me I was greedily awaiting this book) a better collection of stories. I think the best way to go about a book such as this one is to go story by story, give each one’s pros and cons, however imbalanced the two may be (many pros, not so many cons). So without further ado, in order (with some slight overlaps), is my review for Ghosts of the Shadow Market.
Cast Long Shadows: Let me just say that Matthew Fairchild is a blessing of a boy, James honestly could not have asked for a better parabatai, I just love my fashionable little drama queen. First off I love that he likes to have a good time and get into mischief (reminds me of Will), I also loved the way he greeted Jem when he saw him in the Shadow Market. His personality is infectious and I really hope we get to see more of him in the future especially with how the story left off. I felt so awful that that old lady tricked him, he was totally manipulated and he thought it was his fault and it made him so upset and then you find out centuries later that that awful woman knew what she was doing? And I was so worried for Charlotte but it was so nice to see her and Henry despite the circumstances. I love Charlotte so much she’s such an amazing person, she has endured so much as was so looked down upon but remained strong in the face of adversity, with the support of her wonderful family of course. But this story really made me feel for Matthew, I was so sad I just wanted to reach in and hug him. And when James tried to comfort him in the best way he could, it was so sweet, I really love them.
Every Exquisite Thing: Okay, first things first, the art in this book was spectacular and I just can’t even describe it, the picture of Anna was so beautiful. And the story, ugh, I loved it so much! Probably in my top three out of this book, for a couple of reasons. One: Anna is so amazing and I love her so much, her personality, the way she interacts with others, she’s just so sure of herself, just an all around beautiful human being. Two: She’s a major piece of (accurate) queer representation during a time period when being queer wasn’t super acceptable, especially for women. She was just so confident and accepting of herself and her sexuality, it’s inspiring. Three: Her parents are literally so cool. Her mother and father were so supportive and accepting! I loved the part where they were arguing over the color of the suit and not the fact that they got a suit for their daughter in the first place. It’s such a great message and it just made my heart absolutely melt. Yes, this story was sad at some parts, I mean she finally had her first love and then this girl told her they couldn’t be together because she was obligated to marry a man? Gross but accurate. I just really can’t get over how much I loved this story. I hope to see so much more of Anna in future pieces, she’s such an amazingly mysterious character. I also see where Alec gets it from *wink wink*
Learn About Loss: Yay, now we’re in America. And we get to hang out with Jem, not that he’s not already in every story in this book. Also yay, a new character, nice to meet you Iron Sister Emilia. Right off the bat I was super intrigued, it is not the usual spot for Jem to be, it’s unusual company and Shadow Markets shouldn’t exist in the middle of nowhere, neither should a full-fledged, free carnival during the sloughs of the Great Depression. But here we are, two immortal beings trying to figure out this madness. I don’t have a whole lot to say about this story except for its ending. Emilia is probably one of my new favorite people after what she did for Jem. Even though she didn’t want to make that deal with that demon she did it so that Jem and Will could go back to how things used to be before Will moved on from this world to the next and Jem stayed stuck in time having to live through the death of his parabatai. Also, the scene at the end where Will and Jem are together and they’re trying to figure out what’s happening and the first thing Jem thinks of is food, that’s a mood, to be honest. I also love that he suggested duck dumplings, and Will’s response was pure gold. I love the Herondale hatred towards ducks, it’s so random and probably one of my favorite quirky details in these books.
A Deeper Love: I love Tessa Gray. I love Tessa Gray! I honestly can’t express to you how much I love her but I’ll try. This story made me sad, probably the most out of any of these. Not only because it was taking place in such an awful time period, WWII is no joke. It was also sad because you just feel the way the grief was weighing on her. She loved Will so much, I can’t even imagine the pain. But Tessa had an amazing support system that she could turn to, it’s great to see the beginning of what will become a life long friendship. Then you add in Jem on his super secret mission, and he gets all messed up and I’m like *dead*, so he goes to Tessa because he can’t die without seeing her one last time and then she ends up saving his life in-between trying not to get blown up or set on fire. What a badass woman. Their relationship is so amazing, it has transcended time and it’s just really cool getting to see that background of their life together especially later in this book. It’s just super amazing to see that kind of love blossom over a century.
The Wicked Ones: This story had me messed up. It was so weird seeing Celine as a teenager when all we really know about her is that she’s Jace’s mom and that she was Stephen’s second wife after Valentine made him divorce Amatis. Also, the age difference is a bit much if you ask me. But it was interesting getting to learn more about her past especially since it’s something Jace ponders so often. It was also interesting getting to see the dynamics of the circle and how Valentine really got what he wanted, how he started this whole debacle. The way he manipulated Celine and took advantage of her childhood abuse was just revolting. It was so sad to see that she was willing to give up everything just to get Stephen to love her back even if it wasn’t real. It was so awful to read this and know everything that happens because of this, it was almost painful but it was so intriguing.
Son of the Dawn: Baby Jace do do do do. I was so happy I got to witness the moment of Jace’s beginnings in New York. We all kind of know the story, his “dad” died to he went to live with the Lightwoods and they took him in because Michael was Robert’s parabatai. Speaking of parabatai, it hit me hard when Jace, even though I know he changes his mind, said towards the end that parabatai are a weakness. It was so sad to see just how broken he was knowing that he’s happy now. This looking into the past stuff can be really upsetting. But it was intriguing to see all these characters that I know and love at the beginning of their stories. I loved that we got to see the beginning of Alec and Raphael’s “I distinctly remember you being twelve” thing, also I loved getting to see into little Izzy’s mind and what she was thinking when this strange boy arrived. It was so weird seeing Maryse and Robert, knowing what happens to them in the future and how much they evolve. But it was also nice knowing that all of these characters have so much development in the other books, it warmed my heart.
The Land I Lost: This story was by far my favorite story. I just love Malec so much I just can’t even begin to describe how incredibly happy they make me. I love Max, he’s such a cute little guy, wants to be just like Alec which I think is adorable (rolled his sweater in cat litter, ha! classic). Magnus and Alec are such good parents, it just melts my little heart! And then Alec has to leave and Max gets upset which is funny, he’s such a cute kid I seriously can’t get over it. I also think it’s funny that all he wants is a brother or a sister (and a dinosaur). I love love love Alec’s relationship with Lily, they’re the best of buds. On the topic of Lily Chen, her obsession with Jem is so funny, her nicknames for him are pure gold, peak comedy. I also love Elliot, despite his being a fairly minor character he always seems to pop up and he’s just a great source of comic relief (It’s hilarious that he likes Robert, I can’t get over it). But I was so incredibly appalled when they got to institute in Buenos Aires, that guy was a complete asshole. I can’t believe that he addressed Lily that way, she’s a blessing, he had no right. And then they go to the Shadow Market and it’s filled with children. That’s probably the saddest thing, all of the books talk about how much the Endarkened affected the Shadowhunters and how it now affects the Fey but nobody really talks about the other downworlders and how it’s affecting them and the Downworld as a whole. That’s one thing I love about Alec so much, he really cares for all people, he wants to change the world for the better. He’s such a great person. And then he meets Rafe. Ugh what a sweet, introverted, sassy little boy. I fell in love with him the moment he appeared on the page. It was so sad that the institute had been so corrupted that they wouldn’t even help a child of their own kind, although in this case I'm kind of glad that they didn’t. It was great that the Queen of the Shadow Market was the werewolf that Alec saved on the Orient Express, that was one of my favorite scenes in The Red Scrolls of Magic (go read it if you haven’t yet!) It was great getting to see Alec take charge of everything, he really is a hero to those people, he’s gonna do so many great things, I can’t wait to see what happens next. I loved that Rafe immediately liked Magnus too, even if it was just through pictures. It’s also great that Alec was sent those pictures in the first place, that is such a parent thing to do. The fact that Rafe was practically adopted by Alec the first time he laid eyes on the kid was such a great show of Alec’s character and how much he’s developed since the beginning of the series. And it was so amazing that Magnus was like duh, of course, we’re keeping him, are you stupid? I just love them so much. Okay, this review is getting long so I’m gonna stop ranting about my favorite fam for now.
Through Blood, Through Fire: I had mixed feelings about this story. At first, I was like yay! Jem and Tessa are happy and they’re trying to find the lost Herondale (Kit, my baby boy), but then Rosemary gets killed when she calls for help and I was so sad, I knew that Johnny Rook died since that was in the Dark Artifices but then to know that Rosemary was so close to them and all she wanted to do was find them and be with them but she knew she couldn’t because she didn’t want her son to be in danger, ugh, a true tragedy. I felt so bad for Jem too, he cared so much for her and wanted to protect her so badly and he felt so guilty when she died, it was so upsetting. But I’m so glad that they got to Kit in time, he’s such a great character I want to read about him all the time. But that problem Tessa had with the transformation was so scary, I was so worried for her. I can’t imagine having to live through that for what must’ve seemed like a lifetime. But then she found out she was pregnant because of it and they were so happy, although I can’t imagine what Tessa must feel knowing that she will outlive her *second* true love and their child, she went through it once already, I can’t imagine twice. But I’m looking on the happy side! I have to or else I would start crying. So yeah, mixed feelings…
The Lost World: Yay! Ty, my son, my boy. I love him so much. And Livvy, although I’m still pissed that she died, and obviously so is she, but I’m glad she’s around. I have mixed feelings about Ty going to the Scholomance. It was a dream that he had, one that he wanted to share with Livvy and he kind of is but not really. I’m also upset that he’s writing to everyone except for Kit and that is not okay, at all. You can’t just separate yourself from your problems Ty! (I’m looking at you too Kit, run away to another country just because you're in love. What an overly dramatic thing to do, I wonder where he gets it from?) But I liked this story for a couple of reasons, One: it was Livvy POV! I was so worried we wouldn’t get to see her again. I also love that Ty adopted that lynx, like what a mad lad he is, I love him. It was also super interesting to learn about Livvy’s ghostliness along with her and Ty, it was very intriguing. I also was so happy that she got to see Kit, and that she scared him. (He deserves it for running away from his feelings). It must get lonely when only three people can see you. I also can’t imagine what that must’ve felt like for Livvy when she started causing all that scary stuff, and when she went too far from Ty I was already worried. Also, Zara. Just imagining her say even one word makes me so angry. I hate her with my entire being, but then Livvy was called back so we didn’t have to deal with Zara anymore which made me happy. I was so incredibly concerned when she was thinking about replacing Jem and Tessa’s baby. As much as I love Livvy, I would protect that baby with my life. But overall this was just an intriguing little story and I hope we get to see Kit, Ty, and Livvy get the gang back together in the future.
Forever Fallen: AAAAAHHHHH! This story gave me whiplash! I’m serious! One moment I’m like yes! Jessa had their baby and I want to give her the world and Jem is such a good dad, not only to Mina but also to Kit, they’re such a perfect little family (also Jem has a castle? Badass.) And then it’s like “Hey I’m Thule Jace, aka Janus. I want to kill everyone except for Clary because I love her in every universe” and I’m like “hold up, what?!” I was so incredibly worried when Max found Janus, I thought he was going to kill little Max and my heart was so afraid for my little blueberry boy. I was also really upset that Janus killed that werewolf girl and faerie boy, it was so sad and unnecessary. And then we were back to Kit and Jem and Tessa and little baby Mina being the perfectness that they are. Jem is such an incredible dad, I love that he said that waking up in the middle of the night and caring for Mina was a privilege like what a mans. And then Kit was there because he didn’t want her to wake up Jem and Tessa, like!!! He’s such a good big brother and Mina knows it. Then Jem referred to Kit as his son and I almost cried because it was just so adorably beautiful I could barely handle it. Then we’re back to NYC where Janus is being a creep and following people around. And then he saw Clary in that alley I was so afraid for her, I thought he might kill her, I don’t know why since he still loves her, but he’s creepy, bad vibes dude. This story just had my emotions all over the place. But I’m going to try and focus on one of the most wonderful families in the world instead of evil Jace.
Okay, guys! That’s it, I’m sorry this review was so long but, what’s a girl to do when she really loves a book? I sincerely hope that everyone who is a fan of Cassandra’s books will read this collection because it’s truly amazing.

I also love Elliot, despite his being a fairly minor character he always seems to pop up and hes just a great source of comic relief (It’s hilarious that he likes Robert, I can’t get over it). It was so sad that the institute had been so corrupted that they wouldn’t even help a child of their own kind, although in this case I’m kind of glad that they didn’t.
(I’m looking at you too Kit, run away to another country just because you’re in love.

Murder Drones Fanfic - Dear Old Dad - James Elliott story from before he became mean.
Warning, some characters might be OOC but maybe Tessa's parents used to be more kind and caring, making it so much worse for Tessa when they did finally change, anyways, enjoy the story!
--------------------------------------------------
The birds sang on that sunny spring morning, the Elliott Manor full of light and laughter.
A four year old Tessa squealed with laughter as she tried to leap out of the way of her dad. "Oh no! A big crocodile!" the little ebony haired girl exclaimed as her father figure chased her with open arms.
"Rooooooar! I'm gonna gobble you up for mornin' smoko!" James called out, making his Aussie voice more grumbly and loud, he eventually caught his daughter and lifted her up. "Got ya! You silly girl!" the man in the tophat exclaimed, he wasn't in a suit today, but just in a sweater vest, some jeans, and his dress shirt.
Tessa stole the tophat off of her father as he held her up. "I got your hat Mr Crocodile! You gotta let me go now!" she exclaimed joyfully before putting it over top of the floppy bow that was barely held on since that was the bow she fell asleep wearing.
"Nope! Now it's time for morning brushies!" the Elliot family patriarch remarked with a laugh.
"I don't like to sit still," the little grey-eyed girl pouted cutely before she tucked her messy hair under the hat.
"Would you sit still for one of yer dad's silly songs?" James said in the silly crocodile voice
Tessa cheered happily for that suggestion, and she took off the hat and gave it back to the fellow holding her. "But only if we can play Kangaroo after!" she negotiated as she was set down on her bed.
James playfully waggled his finger at his daughter. "You drive a hard bargain, Missy," he teased before responding, "Done deal!" He untied the bow and picked up Tessa's brush, standing behind her and brushed the messy hair neat as he sang Tessa her favourite song.
"Hey True Blue, don't say you've gone Say you've knocked off for a smoko And you'll be back la-ater on Hey True Blue, Hey True Blue"
Tessa sang along with her father,
"True Blue, is it me and you Is it Mum and Dad, is it a cockatoo Is it standin' by your mate when he's in a fight Or just Vegemi-ite True Blue, I'm a-asking you"
They had a little giggle as James picked up some hair ties off of Tessa's night stand and braided her hair. He resumed singing
"Hey True Blue, can you bear the load Will you tie it up with ribbons Just to keep the show on the road Hey True Blue Hey True Blue, now be Fair Dinkum"
Tessa laughed, still being a good girl and sitting still, "It's not ribbons, you're such a Mad Hatter!"
James tied a big bow at the top of one of Tessa's braids and laughed, "I'm not putting wire on ya, you daft little dingo!"
The two laughed a little, and once James finished his work he picked her up and put her on her shoulders. "Now, you're getting too big for Kangaroo, but we can still play Wallaby Ride."
The tot in the blue romper dress laughed as she was being lifted up onto her Father's shoulders. "Hold on, lil' jumbuck, we're going to the outback!" he teased before he started running with a spring in his step, Tessa holding on.
"Faster! Wallaby!" Tessa exclaimed with glee, holding on to her Father's shoulders, "We have to make it for morning smoko! Mr Robot is making strawberry muffins!" Tessa liked Mr. Robot, he was a drone with no real name, but he was the family's baker, he sometimes would let Tessa lick the spatula when he would bake cookies or cakes if she was in the kitchen.
James went slower though as they got to the staircase. "Hold on, pumpkin muffin, Wallaby's not so great at hoppin down hill."
The two made it safely down the stairs and then to the sunroom, the golden light glistening in. James had to stop and stare at his wife who was going through a blonde phase. "Goodness Gracious, Louise, you look beautiful."
Louisa looked up from her morning tea and blushed a little, looking away and responding a little reservedly, "You saw me after you picked me up from Xavier's two days ago, and you're still not over it?"
Tessa giggled as she was sat down at the breakfast table, "Mommy looks like a queen!"
The matriarch of the Elliott household couldn't help but smile at the raw assessment by her daughter, knowing that Tessa was at that stage where she would tell everything like how it was. "And you look like an adorable little lady," she responded as she lightly pinched Tessa's right cheek.
James sat down on the other side of Tessa, they were all on the same side of the table which they hardly ever did, but, he knew that Tessa preferred it that way. "Little Missy didn't want to sit still again, so I had to sing to her." "Dad sang me the one about me!" she exclaimed happily, putting her hands up joyfully. She looked proudly down for a second at her dark cool toned braids, believing that the song was about her because her hair was as she called it 'dark-dark-dark-dark-dark-dark blue' like her dad's was. "Because I've got dark-dark-dark-dark-dark-dark blue like Dad and the spots on the heeler you used to have Mum!"
The drone known by Tessa as 'Mr Robot' came into the room, bringing the muffins, as well as a hot chocolate for Tessa since she hadn't adjusted to tea yet.
Tessa beamed joyfully at the child-safe dark blue mug that was decorated with rainbow coloured stars, seeing the whipped topping, chocolate drizzle, and the little chocolate chip on top of that. "Yay! Mr Robot!" she trilled as she was given two muffins on her plate and handed her mug of chocolatey goodness.
James put a very little splash of, what Tessa called, 'silly juice' from a bottle with a bat on it into his morning tea before he said, "Louisa, I know you're working for me today, and I appreciate it but could you take a break around lunch hour so we could play in the garden?"
The grey-eyed girl stopped sipping on her cocoa, her eyes lit up joyfully before she exclaimed, "Wonderland?"
The blonde woman in the sunhat sighed and responded in her more posh Aussie accent, "Fine, fine... We can play Wonderland for Tessa," She smiled and took the top off of one of her muffins and cackled playfully, "Off with their heads!"
"Yay! The Queen of Hearts!" Tessa giggled happily, swinging her legs back and forth joyfully as she knew her Mum did the best impression of the Queen of Hearts, so much so sometimes it startled her a little, but then she remembered it was just a game.
James looked down to his 4 year old daughter, his dull blue eyes sparkling in adoration for the wonderful little lady he was raising. "And I'll always be the Mad Hatter, little dear," he said to Tessa as he patted her on the head.
Tessa asked in a cheeky tone, "Can you take me to statue world after smoko? I want to see the pretty angel statues!"
Louisa rolled her eyes, and responded in a somewhat serious voice, "James, you shouldn't be taking her to 'Statue World' she's too young for that."
"It's all part of life, Louise, and besides, Tessa likes seeing the birds in the willow tree near by."
Tessa stopped eating her muffin and flapped her arms and exclaimed, "CAW CAW! I'M A RAVEN"
James lightly ruffled Tessa's bangs and responded, "You're very good at pretending, we can pretend to be birds together then."
And so James and Tessa went to play in the garden after their breakfast, getting grass stains on their knees and mud on their shoes, but they didn't care, they were too busy having fun.
The End.

She held up a teacup of strawberry oil to also cheers to the occasion. "To our reunion," she replied, her Aussie voice little like back when she was a human girl. After they both took a sip, Tess began to ramble about the things that made her happy, sitting on the receptionist's desk chair, infodumping, looking to her smiling ghost dad every so often and feeling a sense of happiness that she thought she had lost ages ago.

The ghostly James Elliot stood out in the snow, it was a beautiful evening, the wind was slow, and the warm glow coming from the two story building was calling out to him. He could see the tall drone girl inside, it made him feel like crying seeing her again after this long. He walked, not leaving a step in the snow nor making a sound, entering through the door, avoiding hitting the bell even by accident if it would ring even if he was a ghost.

The ghostly fellow made himself tangible at the last second to ensure Tessa didn't fly right through him, he made his drink vanish so he could hug her back. "I can't wait to make up for lost time, Tess," James soothed kindly, "I'm so sorry for neglecting you, and don't say it's okay. Hold me accountable so I can be a better father... well, how's about you call me Dad if you'd like instead."

James heard the creaking of the floor-boards and went to check it out, assuming it was Louisa. He walked around the corner, not making a sound on account of him being a ghost and came face to face with the green-eyed disassembly drone. "Hullo there," he greeted politely, he couldn't explain why but the drone before him looked familiar, "Are you lost? Do you want help?"

"Don't you worry, you little wallaby, I wouldn't bring her along to rain on our Father-Daughter time," he responded before realizing he should go back, but he didn't want to yet, "I'll be going in a bit, but I still have 20 minutes, would you want to infodump like you used to do when I got home?"
James still sat floating on air by his daughter, spawning in an ethereal rum on ice to have a drink to celebrate the occasion. "Cheers, to our reunion."

James broke down the door to get Tessa out. "Something's wrong, we need to go!" he urged worriedly, normally he didn't have the time of day to care, and had turned a blind eye to Louisa's cruelty, but Louisa was gone now, and the only other one left alive was him and Tessa. "We need to get going, Tessa, the drones are acting worse than usual, and one.." he didn't have the courage to say what happened, "We are the only Elliotts left, I need to get you out of here, if not both of us."

"Only the little butler boy is acting normal," James worriedly said, as he got closer to her level, eye to eye with his daughter whom he had become mostly estranged to over the years, "If any of them hurt you, you'd be gone."
James however knew he had no real jurisdiction over Tessa's drones, they were hers. "Alright," he sighed sadly, he pulled Tessa into a hug and let go, giving her a small salute, "Good luck, Tessa. I'll go hold them off, but, don't come find me."
James knew he was going to die like his wife, but he didn't want Tessa to die. Yet, in this moment he didn't want to boss her around. "Just, be careful of the one your Mum didn't like," the top hatted Aussie man uttered as he pulled a decorative shotgun off the wall, arming himself with it and the crowbar again.
He walked towards the exit of the library, glanced over his shoulder back to Tessa and reassured, "I regret not being a better father, but in this moment, I will sacrifice myself to give you more time... be careful, and good luck, Tessa."
James headed out, ready to go down fighting, he wouldn't let the drones take his daughter, especially after seeing Louisa perish and narrowly escaping.

James smiled, he remembered a time he snuck Tessa out to go to a diner, much to Louisa's dismay at the time. "I'm so proud of you," he spoke, starting to cry a little but it was tears of joy, "You've grown so much, Tess. You're not my little energetic Jumbuck anymore, asking for Wallaby Rides down the hallway. You're even more remarkable than I ever imagined you'd be."
He raised his glass to the pretty green eyed Tessa before him and took a sip. "I might be a ghost but if there's anything you need, I'd be happy to help,"

"Y'know, I don't exactly know, I guess it's alike how a ghost will haunt something that's similar to where they once lived... Seeing as this would've been your mansion had you reached 18."
James sighed, letting go of his drone daughter, he sat floating on air and took off his hat and wiggled his fingers over it like the one time he snuck a luna moth into the house, and bright green ethereal moths of light flew out. He laughed a little as they all fizzled out like falling stars. "I guess your mum and I just... ended up here because it was the only thing close to being alike home. Don't worry, she's busy reading right now"
