hey internet friends , i am requesting the power of way too many people to find very obscure things
basically i found a dress at goodwill and used it for an upcycle for a school project , and i rlly liked the dress (the one i found wasn't my size) so i thought i'd try to find one my size.
and apparently the dress just , doesn't exist ?
i've used like ,,, every search word combo i can think of , i've gone through reverse image search , i checked resale sites , and i've found a lot of similar things but nothing that matches properly.
i didn't get any pics of the dress before i altered it (i figured i could find one online) but i took one after
possible identifying traits : - brand is jump by wendye chaitin - made of cornflower blue taffeta (i think) - has a border of gemstones across the top of the bodice , but it's not just sparkles stuck onto the fabric it's almost a chain of gems sewn as an add-on to the top - strapless , fitted bodice , i forget the specific term for the skirt but it's sort of a toned-down ballgown ?
if anyone can help please i'd appreciate it so much :,D
here's the pic i do have of the dress - you can see what i meant by chain of gems lol. only differences are the neckline i cut out and a belt i added on

Hi all, I'm desperately searching for these two things-
A blue green sleeveless dress made of chiffon with ruffles and matching sash. I've seen it multiple brands-coldwater creek, dress barn, Bethany, Signature by Robbie Bee, Limited Too and have found a couple online, unfortunately they're too small. I need at least a us size 12
And a gray/green shearling fur coat, I believe it's Randolph Duke from the 70s. My parents saw it once in a thrift shop and sent a picture, but since I wasn't there to try it on I said no to getting it :/ regret that now.
Thanks to anyone who can help!

What is this?
We are a craft exchange! We'd like to match creative people who want to trade their skills - think about trading a knit sweater for a set of jewelry! Any craft is welcome :)
How do I participate?
Submit a post to our /submit page! (Or send an ask, whatever works)
What should my post look like?
Great question! Each post should have two parts, an offering section and an ISO section. Your offering section should be a list of things you can trade - finished works, craft supplies, whatever goes! These are things you can use to trade. Your ISO (in search of) section should be a list of things you want. Please be clear so people who want to trade can find you easily!
What happens next?
People can comment under each post if they can fulfill the other half of a potential trade - please tag the original poster just so they see your comment! From there, feel free to work out the exact details of a good trade. This part's up to you! Please feel free to let us know if a trade went well, we'll happily reblog showing off your work :)
Other rules?
Please note that no payment of any form in exchange for crafts will be accepted or tolerated, this is meant to be a good old fashioned barter economy. Anyone found soliciting money for their work will be banned from the page. We also do not take responsibility for trades falling through - we will ban folks who don't play by the rules, but we cannot control anything beyond posting on here!

It pisses me off that they never officially told us what teams everyone was on for Grand Festival. They did for Splatocalypse (and confirmed Commander Tartar to be alive, plus foreshadowed Mr. Grizz as the next antagonist, at that).
I've rectified this, so the above tier list is what team (Past, Present or Future) I think every Splatoon character would join.
EDIT: Oh shit, I forgot ORCA, Shelly, Donny and Fred Crumbs. I think Shelly and Donny would both be on Past because (A) they're ancient organisms and (B) they like Uncle Sheldon and want to join his team. Fred Crumbs would be on Present, he's just a cool guy who stands in the here and now selling shoes. ORCA would be on Future. It's ancient, but it eagerly awaits the evolution of new life, unlike Cmdr. Tartar who got jaded with it all. Added them now.
EDIT 2: MY REASONING:
Callie, Marie, Pearl, Marina, Shiver, Frye, Big Man: Officially confirmed.
Shelly, Donny, Fred Crumbs, ORCA: Already explained.
TEAM PAST
Agent 3 (Captain): "Look how far I've come!"
Agent 3 (Neo): Exploring ancient human ruins.
Cap'n Cuttlefish: Just look at him.
Sheldon: Army buff, probably plays squid Hearts of Iron.
Commander Tartar: RETVRN to human.
Salmonids: Ancient cannibal culture.
Mr. Grizz: RETVRN to bear.
Smollusk: RETVRN to conformity.
Judd: Fought in the Great Turf War, is the last member of an ancient mammal species.
Jelfonzo: He doth talketh like the Barde of olde.
Mr. Coco: He looks pretty old and crabs are pretty old too.
TEAM PRESENT
Agent 4: Doesn't seem to have much going on beyond shooting people and hugging a stuffie. Lives in the now.
CQ Cumber: Seemingly manufactures everyone's phones. Rules the flow of information. Also will kill you RIGHT NOW if you drop an 8-ball.
Jelonzo: Hip little jelly dude.
Annie and Moe: Adapt to changing fashion trends.
Crusty Sean: Just sells shoes and food, immediate conveniences.
Spyke and Murch: They've always what's in style.
Flow: Loves drinking and casual sex, very much a here-and-now person.
Craymond: Forced to tag along with Flow.
Gnarly Eddy: Stoner, doesn't have much past or future on his mind.
Nails: Attached to Gnarly Eddy.
Marigold: Same food-related reason as Crusty Sean.
Cipher: Lives solely within an unchanging computer simulation. There is no past or future to it.
Super Sea Snail: Just a little creature.
TEAM FUTURE
Agent 8: Very optimistic for the future after escaping the Octarian army and Kamabo Co.
Little Buddy: Is the future of squid-salmon relations.
Octarians: Looking forward to a future of peace with the Inklings.
DJ Octavio: Is glad to put all that "war" stuff behind him and live a new life as a travelling DJ.
Zapfish (normal and Great): Without them, Inkopolis has no future.
Iso Padre and the denizens of the deep: They ride a subway called Desire, unsure of where it will take them.
Acht: Deliberately got themself blended into a homogenous green hivemind to enhance their musical abilities. Very transhuman-ish.
L'il Judd: The first mammal birth in 12,000 years. Is probably plotting to conquer the world for his own aspirations.
Bisk: He can move on from his girlfriend, he can move on in life.
Jel La Fleur: Hip little jelly dude, but new.
Harmony: Chiptune music and girl-who-stinks-good Invader Zim aesthetic suggest that she's all into computers and the web and that sort of future-y stuff.

Nostalgic Lookback: Carmen Sandiego
Tumblr media
It was on PBS Kids in the mid-90s that I had my first encounter with the notorious Carmen Sandiego. I caught some of the Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? game show in the early evening after Kidsongs had finished, and I quickly got hooked on catching its nightly broadcast. Y'know the show - the one with Lynne Thigpen as the Chief of ACME Detective Agency, Greg Lee as the host, and Rockapella performing music, including the iconic theme song? Yeah, it was a lot of fun to watch, and it still is upon rewatches.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I soon got to see the other Carmen Sandiego show out at the time, the animated series Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego? starring Rita Moreno in the titular role, airing on Fox Kids. It was enjoyable and educational to watch as well, even if I didn't catch it nearly as often due to it being a Saturday Morning Cartoon. There was later another game show on PBS with Thigpen as the Chief, Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego?, but that one just wasn't nearly as good.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But then there were also Carmen Sandiego books and Carmen Sandiego board games out at the time. I recall enjoying those too!
Tumblr media
Inevitably I learned that this franchise had originated as a series of "edutainment" computer games for kids of all ages that came out in the late 80s and then just exploded into widespread popularity in the 90s. And naturally, some of those games were among the ones that I played in my youth, and still do play on ISO files every now and then. Junior Detective, which tied in with the Where On Earth? show, was my first Carmen game - very easy, yet still quite fun. Later on I got the third version "Deluxe Editions" of Where In The World? and Where In The USA?, which incoperated Lynne Thigpen's Chief and featured probably my favorite iteration of the titular character other than the one from Where On Earth? I played the fuck out of those ones and were really into what they had to offer, though I'll admit to still having a major preference to World over USA. But in contrast to the Where In Time? game show, the Where In Time? game (later re-released as Carmen Sandiego's Great Chase Through Time) ended up being my favorite game of the whole lot. Reusing the Chief, Carmen, and the ACME Good Guides from those last two games, it goes in a more linear fashion, but the historical cases are so fun, so packed with good stuff and so memorable that I never tire of them.
Carmen Sandiego these days is but a shell of the edutainment juggernaut it used to be, but hey, at least she's still out there at all!

Sims 2 CC Mega Post
I say 'mega' but there really isn't a whole lot, I just didn't wanna split it up. Anyway, yeah, I mostly and normally and prefer to make Sims 4 stuff, but I made some Sims 2 stuff for me last year and this and I figured, may as well share it. Most of these require outside meshes so keep that in mind, Sims 2 CC downloading is a bloody nightmare.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alex Skin
So I made a custom skin with tattoos for Alex as it seemed simple enough to do. Ain't gonna look perfect, but it looks fine from a distance, same resources I used for my Sims 4 versions, so I did vector the rose and skull. I based the skin off these default replacements. You don't NEED these, but they make it so that everyone matches. Yes that site requires an account and login, it's NSFW, it has body hair and works with nudity. Because obviously I play with mods like that. I made the skin look right for Fit/Thin/Fat but I didn't bother with any age but adult nor did I bother with female, because, idc. I THINK this is Alex's hair mesh, but idfk, I have so many that look like this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It also works in Castaway Stories, as does all of these, because I used them in it too. :> That made Alex the palest guy on the island as all the skin tones in Castaway Stories were shifted to one tone darker per. I manually put my replacement skin in that too, but I didn't have the darkest, so no body hair to them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Streaked Jack Hair
You need this mesh to make this work. I made this for myself as I didn't really like anything else I had for him, and this is Sims 2, so I went with earlier hair, and I liked how this mesh looked. Loosely based on like this hair. I didn't bother with other ages beyond adult again. I would have if I decided to de-age him and send him to university, but I did that with Otto instead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again also works in Castaway Stories, as I used it, again. It's easy to import Sim's faces from 2 into the stories games.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Awsten Tricolor Hair
Awsten Red Hair
You need this mesh to make this work. The bright green in that is also great and I used that for him at first. These are his eyes too, or rather his right eye. No screenshots of the red hair, but it's just a bright plain red in case you prefer it. I made this hair as it looked okay with the colors kind of being randomly spread around the mesh. This is his outfit btw. Again only works with adult as far as I'm aware.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
BONER Shirt
R&R Shirt
NoRegRetsShirt
JALEXShirt
BMTHShirt1
BMTHShirt2
BMTHShirt3
BMTHShirt4
You need this mesh to make these work. All of these are Everyday fashion only by account of only the Everyday category having the option for separates and these are all tops. Don't ask me what pants I use, I have so many downloaded, but these work with all of them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As it turns out I didn't take screenshots of all of these ingame, but maybe these help with that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PTV Hoodie
DropDead Hoodie
You need this mesh for the PTV hoodie. I don't THINK the DD hoodie needs anything external, I compared it to a vanilla mesh and it seemed to line up. I don't know, I made it last December and I didn't log everything I did. Like the shirts above, Everyday category only as they are tops.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As a bonus, here's some misc Sims 2 screenshots to hit the image limit, including this stuff and with no context to my game. I know most people on modern computers play with The Ultimate Collection, but I installed it via discs, and a few ISOs as I didn't feel like spending $30+ for a few missing stuff packs on eBay. :) Pretty sure those ISOs are why my game is British and I have to always manually set the clock and a few other small things every time I load it. Not a big deal to me, just felt I'd mention for clarity. Castaway Stories is from an ISO too as have you SEEN those prices on eBay?! I have Sims 3 on Disc too, 100%, never made any CC for it tho. I love how Sims 2 was out at the peak of, ahem, mid to late 2000s culture so a lot of CC for it is of it's time in the best possible way. I kept this theme going with adding in custom music that ONLY existed from before 2009 (so 2008 is my cut-off date) and it's fun only hearing music of the era ingame. :) I DID make stuff for Sims 1 too years ago but I don't know how I even really did it so idk how to make more and also I don't care that much. I wanted to try playing with Alex and Jack in Sims 1 too but I kept getting fucked up files that didn't work or look right and I didn't know what I needed to do to make it right and I didn't wanna waste more time than I already did trying to make their faces. I do have semi-not ugly faces and outfits for a couple others tho.
Oh yeah, all this stuff is made in the Body Shop and GIMP for textures.
