Goth Fashion... DIY!

Hey, lovelies! I dunno if I've already made a post like this, but here are some tips for DIY goth fashion! Most of these are from either my mum or the Youtuber "Of Herbs and Altars", so I sincerely recommend you check out Dorian's channel for more tips! (Specifically this video!) Also, this has been in my drafts for like, a year. Lolz!

1: If you find a pretty item in a pale color, (like light blue, white or pink) just buy some black dye and dye it! Of course, you can use any color, but most people use black. 2: If you have a pair of pants you don't like, maybe leggings, cut the crotch out, and use the pants as a shirt! Maybe as a crop top, or, what I do; wear it underneath or on top of a dress. 3: That previous tip works for stockings and fishnets too! Snip the crotch from the stockings or fishnets and wear them as a top. 4: On the subject of stockings and fishnets, a pair of scissors is really gonna be your best friend for goth attire. If you have some matte black stockings or fishnets, you can use scissors or a fork to rip them and/or poke holes in them, making them look cooler! 5: Got a pair of gloves? Rip holes in them or cut the fingers off to make fingerless gloves! 6: Got some socks? Put your arm in them, and snip holes where your fingers will go! Maybe sketch some designs on them! 7: Safety pins and soda tabs are your best friend. Soda tabs can be used to make chokers or chains. Safety pins can be pretty decoration, and you can make chains by connecting them!

hey internet friends , i am requesting the power of way too many people to find very obscure things

basically i found a dress at goodwill and used it for an upcycle for a school project , and i rlly liked the dress (the one i found wasn't my size) so i thought i'd try to find one my size.

and apparently the dress just , doesn't exist ?

i've used like ,,, every search word combo i can think of , i've gone through reverse image search , i checked resale sites , and i've found a lot of similar things but nothing that matches properly.

i didn't get any pics of the dress before i altered it (i figured i could find one online) but i took one after

possible identifying traits : - brand is jump by wendye chaitin - made of cornflower blue taffeta (i think) - has a border of gemstones across the top of the bodice , but it's not just sparkles stuck onto the fabric it's almost a chain of gems sewn as an add-on to the top - strapless , fitted bodice , i forget the specific term for the skirt but it's sort of a toned-down ballgown ?

if anyone can help please i'd appreciate it so much :,D
