Fantastic 4 + IcePowers!Reader Headcannons (Mentions of Johnny x Reader)

These head-cannons were written with 2005 Fantastic 4 in mind, but you can imagine any version of the Fantastic 4 for this. Reader is Gender-Neutral, with ice powers. Johnny X Reader heavily implied.

Summary: Headcannons about Reader who has Ice Powers, Reader was Sue’s assistant and went up into space with the rest of them.

Even with Reader having control of their powers it’s very hard for them to have physical contact with anyone except Johnny, his fire powers protecting him from her ice powers.

Reader can also touch Ben, his rocks also protecting him from their powers.

Reed creates Reader a superhero suit that protects other people from their powers and the first thing Reader does is hug Sue, since they have never been able to hug since before space.

Johnny’s ego becomes absolutely humongous (even larger than it was before) when reader asks for physical touch with him since they can’t touch anyone else.

It is extremely common for people in the baxter building to walk in and see Reader and Johnny cuddling on the couch.

Ben and reader are extremely close, he is definitely a parental/fatherly figure for reader.

Ben and Reader figured out a way to use Readers powers to make ice cream, Ben and Reader tried to hide it so they didn’t have to share, but of course the rest of the team found out, and then they had to share.

In the summer everyone huddles in Readers room because there room is like a ice box.

The media assumes Johnny and Reader are dating, because… you know, fire and ice, Johnny makes no efforts to deny it, meanwhile Reader does their hardest to deny it.

When Johnny and Reader get into arguments they have to be separated on missions because out of spite they will cancel out each-other’s powers, if Reader shots a ice-sickle Johnny throws a fireball at it and melting it, that wasn’t a problem until it happened and boiling water accidentally got on a civilian, that was when Sue and Reed decided that if they’re fighting they don’t get to be in the field together.

One time when it snowed they all tried to have a snowball fight… it didn’t go well. (Reader accidentally froze the snow balls they threw rock solid, and Johnny couldn’t pick it up with it melting)

Despite it being extremely uncomfortable for them Reader will often fall asleep rooted up under Ben. No one ever dares wake either of them up. (Well Johnny definitely tries to mess with them but no one is shocked about that)

Reader wakes up with red marks on their face from sleeping with it squished against Ben.

Whenever Alicia doesn’t feel like cooking but craves food, she will tell reader how to do it so Reader feels useful (and gets quality motherly figure time)

A rumor was definitely spread at some point about Reader being Ben’s child.

Reader isn’t technically Sue’s assistant anymore but they are still very close.

Johnny was explicitly told that Reader was off limits when Reader was just Sue’s assistant and they weren’t all superheroes, not that he ever listened.

I know that sinners canonically cant have kids but I don't care atm cause I got baby fever REAL BAD. So lets just... pretend that fact doesn't exist for this ask haha. Can you do headcannons for how Adam, Lucifer, Alastor, and Husk would react to finding out their s/o is pregnant?

Adam

You were terrified to tell him at first about the pregnancy. Being the first man and all is hard, but being the first man's angelic kid now may be more challenging.

Not to mention, Adam didn't give off fatherly vibes; he was more like a daddy in the sheets vibe. However, what sealed the deal for you that maybe he could be a father was how he treated Emily.

When you finally confessed, Adam was the happiest man alive. He doted on you hand and foot. He wanted you to have the smoothest pregnancy, and after seeing Eve do it a bajillion times, he had a good idea.

He loved holding your belly for you. Do you want 5 extra minutes of breathing room? Sure, he got you. Do you want to sleep on your side? He is right there.

When you finally pop, he is there the whole time, coaching you through the experience. He holds your hand and lets you call him every name in the book with no sarcastic remarks.

After you hold your baby first, he is eager to be the second. As he holds your bundle of joy, he is a broken, happy man. He will do everything to protect your child and you. He would still be the same old Adam, but with his lover and child, he is a big old softie.

Lucifer

He openly talked about another child, often even getting Charlie to join in. He wanted to have a family with you so badly, and even when you told him no, Charlie was enough, he still tried.

You were the one that was the most afraid just because your body was changing and that can be scary. However, Lucifer loved every second of your changing body. He would even show you what size the baby was each month.

He was about following the best routines and processes to have a child. So he kept you on a regimen; however, our man here was not afraid to let you cheat a few times to curb those cravings the baby was making.

He warned you how big Charlie was and offered that maybe a C-Section would be better, but both agreed whatever the doctors and midwives say you'll do. So long as you lived, he was happy and content.

When you finally had the baby, Lucifer fainted approximately 4 times. No one fully knew why, but he did get found all 4 times by various staff at the hospital.

Once he got to hold the baby, he was a tearful mess. Honestly, until your child was about 6 or 7, he would cry holding them. He is a fantastic dad who cherishes all the time he gets with you and your now two kids.

Alastor

The man was in denial for a very long time. He was convinced he never needed children, that he wouldn't be like his father and would become a corrupt powerhouse.

Yet when you ashamedly asked one day what he would say if you were pregnant, he was a blushing mess. You, his little lover, full and round with his offspring.

When he realized you asked cause you actually were, he was terrified and elated. He went to Rosie first to learn all he could to help you.

He was far more affectionate and possessive over you, the animal instincts kicking in. He wanted to ensure you were safe and well taken care of so you could make him a fine, healthy baby.

When you finally went Into labor, his nerves were overwhelming you, so he had to sit outside. As soon as the doctors came out, he was rushing into your room to see you.

Once it was his turn to hold the baby, he genuinely cried and smiled with the child. Soft coos and smooth jazz played as he rocked the baby. He was so excited to make a little psycho prodigy.

Husk

He never wanted kids. Saw them as an annoying excuse to give up on life. He wanted money, power, and fame. That was till his soul was taken. Then he didn't want kids cause fuck Alastor.

However, you came into his life, and things just changed perfectly. These urges to domesticate and have a soft life with you. Even with Alastor looming around, he wanted to have a little family.

He feared what Alastor would do or say when you showed him the test. Yet he was happy to know you wanted to go on this journey with him.

He was supported by most of the hotel and was able to get you a whole nursery set up so that you two could easily care for the baby while still maintaining your duties at the hotel.

When you finally popped, he wasn't expecting multiple babies. I mean, yeah, your stomach was big, but three kids at once. He was a little shell-shocked, to say the least. Cats always have a big litter.

He was a soft and caring father. He would never drink while the kids were awake and made sure you didn't do all the work alone. He loved being the one to calm their worries with sweet words and gentle touch.

Curly dating headcannons (sfw/gn)

Disclaimer: a little bit of angst (no post crash, that's for another time), mentions of Jimmy (for some people out there)

Side notes: Curly the man you are.... Genuinely would date him, like appearance aside he's so interesting and he's like a mature labrador that I wanna pat and teach tricks. Right, that aside, next hcs are either nsfw or something else entirely, my mood in unpredictable. As always let me know if there are any types of mistakes!

— I think it would take a looong time for you to get together romantically, Curly just lets things develop on their own, he rarely acts on his deeper, more personal feelings. He's not exactly in tune with himself (like most men). However, when Curly realises he has been developing feelings for you, romantic ones, it's literally hard not to notice you. You were pinning for this man for so long when all of the sudden, one day he comes with a big expensive bouquet of flowers inviting you on a date.

— Curly's confidence extends to his PDA, he's super smooth. As per other people's hcs, it's not too much but enough to establish for people that you two are dating. Mainly it's giving you a peck on your cheek or head, gliding his hand over your back and waist. This man is not particularly starved for touch, but gosh he feels blessed every time you play with his hair. Leans into your touch no matter what, a smile tugging on his lips involuntarily.

— as your relationship progresses, so does the usage of pet names. Dove, dear, angel, and love is a go-to for Curly. Gets shivers in a good way when you call him your captain, or if you're married, your husband (I have intense urge to write more, but that goes to marriage hcs).

— Curly carries that cowboy vibe (his favourite genres of music are country and old school rock). He definitely hums and sings some corny ass love songs under his breath when he approaches you or even thinks about you. Please sing along, and if you're shy, he will encourage you (I hc that "Let's Ride into the Sunset Together" by Jerry and Don Burnham is his favourite song you can't change my mind).

— Curly, if you got married before his work at Pony Express, commutes back home with the thoughts akin to "I can't wait to spend the evening with my beautiful spouse", yes he will be this corny. If you're the one coming late, Curly would complete the hardest or your least favourite chores and cook supper for you. It's not a big deal to him, plus you're coming home to relax and recharge. It also gives you more time to spend together; simply lazing on the couch sounds fantastic too.

— Curly is a morning person, gets up at 4 a.m. to exercise and get ready for the day. Getting up with you is wonderful, but he loves to wake up first. There is just something so homey with the way you're tucked into the comforter, snuggling to his side. Curly will spend a good minute just admiring you. This is one the favourite things in your relationship that he treasures deeply.

— now onto the food: Curly cooks the best breakfasts, period. Anything he does with eggs is to die for. But don't worry if you don't like them — Curly will come up with another dish for you specifically! His other specialty are sandwiches: he practised so much he could be considered a master of them. Guess who makes you work lunches with cute tupperware? All your colleagues are jelly as hell.

— if you cook, Curly eats EVERYTHING, like the plates are empty, no crumbs nor sauce. Even if it's food that he's not used to, he will chew on it thoroughly and give you a thumbs up. Fortunately, Curly has very "domestic" taste, nothing sophisticated required for him to shower you will praise. You can make him mac and cheese and he would genuinely be happy. Takes up doing the dishes after your meals (god bless).

— Curly generally loves having you in his life. It's not necessary for you to spend every waking hour by his side or share the same enthusiasm for his hobbies. He loves you with his whole heart and he's grateful for getting to have you as his partner. Sharing a cozy living space, going out with you by his side, having long conversations or little sweet talks at night before falling asleep. This is what Curly lives for.

— following up the previous hc: Curly loves you no matter what (it's both concerning and reassuring). He thinks both negative and positive qualities make up your being. Unlike Jimmy, Curly would feed into your vices because he wouldn't consider this to be so impactful for you in the long run. Unconditional love has it's downs. With that said, if you actively try to better yourself — Curly is so proud of you. He really is. When you show him your growth or when he notices it on his own, he can feel his heart melt. His eyes may even become wet a little, Curly can get sentimental at times.

— give this man a chance to show you off and he will take it. Curly never has hard time saying what exactly he loves in you, from your personality to your appearance. If you attend any social gathering, he either holds your arm or has his arm held by yours. You have to fight the urge to look at him constantly because Curly can't just take his eyes off of you. Makes his friends either gush or groan at the sight.

— Curly loves you and means well, truly. You may have known each other for years, in marriage or not, but he would still have troubles opening up to you. It's because you're so close to each other, he cares so such for you he doesn't want to burden you with his inner conflicts. Curly should be happy, he's grateful for the things he has, and yet even with you he feels lost. The best thing you could do is show him that you care about him. If you support Curly and prove him that his feelings matter no less than yours, he would listen and try to be more forward with you. Therapy is also always a good option, and it's far easier to convince Curly to pick it up.

i've been compiling a bunch of maze runner headcannons over the past few weeks, and i decided to share what i have so far :) fyi most of these are ivytrio centered heheh ^_^ enjoy!!!

- newt would be a big oatmeal fan. he'd have it every day and put cubed fruits and maple syrup in it too. thomas prefers a plain toast with butter and always teases newt for "being an old coot"

- minho is rlly extra and likes to make these fancy pancakes that frypan taught him how to make

- newt would be addicted peach tea. every morning he goes to the convenience store and he buys a bottle before class

- newt loves bracelets and he made a matching pair for him and thomas :] (minho, newt, & thomas also have separate matching bracelets!)

- newt does poetry & art. he carries around a little sketchbook in his satchel where he jots random thoughts and sketches. his muse is thomas <3

- newt likes musicals & claymation/stop motion movies (his fav is dear evan hanson or kubo and the 2 strings) & thomas likes action movies (his favs are starwars or the spiderman movies)

- their fav movie to watch together is fantastic mr fox or coraline

- thomas and minho are both on their school's track team

- thomas downloaded duolingo as a joke but now he feels guilty if he misses even a single day so he has a daily streak of 479

- thomas almost threw up crying watching end game (he forced newt to watch it with him as well)

- thomas prefers calling/face timing over texting and he will do everything in his power to call

- he's also like the least coherent texter of all time He always has like 90 spelling errors in a 4 word text

- newt doesnt like calls but is also the driest texter of all time

- newtmas' favourite date was an aquarium date. thomas is absolutely captivated by all the fish and newt is so enamoured

- on minho's aforementioned morning runs, he BLASTS pop music thru his headphones. because of this he's literally almost deaf. he always goes "huh" "what?" "say again?" whenever talking to anybody but it especially makes newt so frustrated

- also. minho would love charli xcx SORRY I DONT MAKE THE RULES!!!! he really likes pop music because it gets him pumped up and energized

- when thomas is focused, his speech gets really curt and he kinda shuts the world out because hes so tunnel visioned. as a result people think hes just really rude and a pain to work with

- only newt can work with him effortlessly because they don't need words to communicate. a slight nose scrunch? thomas knows he made a mistake. quirk of the brow? newt nods his head to show his approval. thomas taps his fingers against the table? newt can tell he's frustrated. their relationship can be tacit but understood by one another which is why they work so well with each other

- thomas LOOOOOVES karaoke he literally will not hesitate to belt his heart out

- when thomas blushes, he blushes HARD. he gets really red in the face and gets super embarrassed and newt likes to tease him for it

- when drunk, thomas gets really chatty, newt becomes clingy, and minho turns into a whole nother person he gets SO rowdy and loud and crazy. life of the party kinda guy

my headcannons on the mercs cooking:

Engie: a good cook, has no trouble cooking for the team. as any 🦅🇺🇲🗽AMERICAN��🇺🇸🦅, he uses a lot of butter in his meals. he doesnt follow recipes, he makes recipes; he's in a grandma type beat with food. his meals are usually spicy and vast, serving too much food on plates and leaving leftovers. he has The power of bringing people together with food™. champion of barbecues.

Soldier: doesnt know how to boil rice. turns the oven on weird. always makes too much pasta. splashes water when he stirs any pot. treats dough like it insulted him personally. handles oregano as salt. uses unsanitary amounts of butter (as any 🦅🇺🇸🗽AMERICAN 🗽🇺🇲🦅). the kitchen turns into a battlefield under his charge. he will serve the most disgusting and horrifying meal that you've ever seen, with a smile. the other mercs have to keep him out of the kitchen before having a biohazard in their hands. BUT ☝️ he makes GOD-TIER mac 'n' cheese. destiny spins a roulette to choose wich sickness are the mercs getting after having eaten a Soldier's meal (even with the mac 'n' cheese).

Medic: he thinks cooking is tedious, but he doesnt hate it. he finds ways to make it more... fun. he experiments. he takes a good look at the recipe, then throws it out the window, then begins cooking. his inner Victor Frankenstein is channeled in the kitchen. the resulting amalgamation of a meal falls in a spectrum between "a spit to god's creation" and "the equivalent of the discovery of a life-saving surgery". everyone is afraid before eating one of his creations. sometimes they move. obsessed with fish.

Heavy: his cooking expertise is farm/wild russian animals, so, everything outside of that field is uncharted territory for him. a nice way of saying that he earns gold stars for Trying. that's not saying that his meals are unedible, his lamb dishes are good (mostly), but they are certainly lacking. he refuses to use any condiments, which in his scenario would be very much needed. he mostly ends up with bland meals. even desserts end up somewhat hollow with flavour. with all that said, he's very clean while cooking and he's in charge of making bread for the team, because he is FANTASTIC at it. they save a lot of money on bread.

Pyro: the same enthusiasm & skills of a five-year-old. they give their hundred-and-ten percent on following the recipe and giving the team a five-star course. Fails Everytime. with enough time, they'll get to it, but now, they're stuck on leaning cakes and burnt-on-the-outside-but-raw-on-the-inside turkies. every meal they do is decorated with anything they find appropiate & sprinkled with sprinkles. one time they used plastic vegetables as decoration.

Spy: as any 🍷🇫🇷🥖french🥖🇫🇷🍷, he was born with chef-like abilities. he can take any recipe and amp it up to a hundred. the team eats michelin-star-winning courses when he's in charge. downsides: (1) he needs to start preparing the meal 3 hours before mealtime (this makes him unelegible for preparing breakfast and lunch); (2) has a bad temper when cooking, meaning that if something goes wrong in the process (the knife being dull, the dishes undone, his teammates annoying him, etc) he gets fed up and quits, even in the middle of cooking; (3) always complains about not having the "correct" ingredients for meals; and (4) sneers to the other mercs for liking "zhis crap zhat i made," even when the "crap" tastes amazing. yells at anyone who eats with their hands, specially one of his own meals. Cannot Make Baguettes (the actual reason why Heavy is in charge of bread) (constantly made fun of for this).

Demo: he wasn't keen on cooking until he learned that he could cook with booze. he was dissapointed when the meals didnt taste like beer, but he didnt loose his will of Cooking With Alcohol Even When The Dish Doesn't Need To. he uses beer in every meat he prepares (doesnt use wine), and they taste good. with the rest of meals, and also with all meals, he has no idea what he's doing due to Being Drunk. most (all) courses are done perfectly out of luck, cartoon-style. the results look unkept but nice at the same time. "looks good not because of the decoration but because it was made with love" type of beat. they all taste amazing though. his favorite dessert to make is the chocolate volcano (he makes it actually erupt).

Scout: two alternatives. One: he inherited the 🍷🇨🇵🥖french🥖🇨🇵🍷 of Spy and his mother's skills and now he's good for cooking to a large group of people. though, he's still learning, so he doesnt have The power of bringing people together with food™ yet, and he overmeasures for small sums of people. Two: he's shit at cooking, he's inpatient and forgetful, so things go undercooked or burnt. uses too much condiment for everything, and can't follow recipes. In both ways, the kitchen is left a mess, the breakfasts are sugary cereal, he only cooks things that he likes, and, as any 🦅🇺🇲🗽AMERICAN🗽🇺🇲🦅, he uses too much butter.

Sniper: he knows how to use the oven and the stoves, he just doesnt want to. he prefers cooking elaborate (and tasty) meals in a campfire, knowing that it'll take thrice as long. consecutively, he's at odds with boiling water: everything goes grilled or else, but not boiled. he gets a little pissed if the others decide to grab the food and take it inside, wasting the chance to eat under the beautiful sky, but doesnt want to eat alone either, so any group choice elected he'll follow, reluctantly or not. he only uses his knife to cook. second best at barbecues of the team.

no one cleans after cooking. "cooks dont clean" rule.

extras:

miss pauling: doesnt cook. not because she doesnt want to, but because she's too damn busy. henceforth, she always (1) takes delivery, or (2) "cooks" pre-made foods such as ramen, cereal, instant soup, etc. (the third secret option is not eating, but she regrets it everytime.) she will eat oatmeal with (cold) milk for breakfast lunch & dinner. if she has to.

the administrator: she's decent. but if you enter the kitchen while she's cooking, she'll stab you.

saxton hale: he only eats raw food. doesnt cook anything. if he ever has to cook for someone else, he just pops a dead animal on the table and says "bon appetit! :D"

Uppermoon kissing headcannons!

Uppermoon 1- Kokushibo

I feel like Kokushibo would be a very traditional man seeing as he's over 400 years old.

He's definitely not one for short pecks, even if one of you had to be somewhere.

Kokushibo would prefer slow and passionate kisses, like the gentleman he is (ignoring the murder of course🤞).

Almost always asks before he kisses you. Something along the lines of, 'May I kiss you'.

Kokushibo puts a lot of passion into his kisses, he doesn't just give them out half-heartedly, he really puts his emotions behind it (or any emotions he has left).

He doesn't like teasing, he won't tease with his kisses and he doesn't want you to either. If you did he'd probably sulk for a while.

He's a lot more gentle than some of the Uppermoons however he can be rougher if either of you are feeling extra 'needy'.

Uppermoon 2- Douma

Unlike Kokushibo, Douma enjoys both short pecks and teasing kisses, however, occasionally Douma likes passionate ones.

If you're with him whilst he's with his followers, he does quick cheek kisses unless there's a follower that is particularly annoying, that's when he'll initiate longer kisses.

Douma is quite playful, in multiple ways, so often if the kisses are longer it'll lead to something else, unless you're in front of an annoying follower, that's when it'll have to wait. His followers aren't allowed to see you like that. Only Douma.

If you were an upper rank and you went to meetings with him, he'd often kiss you as if to 'show you off'. This only makes Muzan's hatred for Douma blossom but for the most part he won't do anything, Muzan is a lot more lenient with his Uppermoons. Just don't disturb the meeting too much.

Uppermoon 3- Akaza

Akaza isn't necessarily 'old fashioned' as such but he's certainly very respectful with his kisses.

We all know Akaza drinks woman respect juice on the daily and so he doesn't want to overstep any boundaries you may have.

He asks before he kisses you, just incase you didn't want him to.

He doesn't mind what type of kiss it is but he mostly prefers meaningful kisses that last for a while.

He would never kiss you in a meeting. We all know his respect and loyalty for Muzan is very high. He would see that as disrespectful.

I feel like he'd prefer to keep his kisses behind closed doors as he thinks it would make him seem vunerable.

The most PDA he'd show is a arm around your waist or shoulder, maybe a hand on your lower back.

Uppermoon 4- Hantengu + Clones

A very nervous kisser.

He's a very paranoid demon as seen in the meeting and when he appears in the village.

It takes a long time for him to kiss you in your relationship.

He gives quick pecks, never longer kisses.

There's not much to say about him, he doesn't often give kisses.

Sekido

Sekido is very angry by nature (obviously).

He prefers rough kisses, like extremely rough. I'm talking 'till your on the verge of passing out.

He doesn't care where you are or who is around you, he'll kiss you anywhere and in front of everyone.

Soft kisses don't exist with him, he is the incarnation of rage and those transfer into his kisses, that doesn't mean he doesn't love you, you won't find him fawning over anybody else.

Urogi

Urogi's kisses are definitely fun.

You'll never know when, where or how he's going to kiss you. They range from short pecks, to long and gentle kisses, to hunger-filled and fiery kisses.

He doesn't have a favourite place to kiss you, just whatever is exposed at the time. Neck, lips, cheek, collarbone, forehead... you get the idea.

Doesn't care who's watching, he'll kiss you in front of his brothers with no shame.

Will definitely take you in the air with him to kiss you.

Uses his ability to find high up spots with great views to kiss you at.

Karaku

Karaku loves teasing you with kisses, the ones that leave you wanting more.

He finds it funny when he kisses you in front of his brothers, especially Sekido. Sekido's anger makes the kisses more enjoyable he thinks.

If his brothers annoy him he'll just make them feel like Urogi as he sends them flying through the air.

Massive fan of giving hickeys. Fight me.

Aizetsu

His kisses are very soft and gentle, they definitely last for a while.

He isn't a fan of quick kisses, he doesn't feel they convey his full love for you, he doesn't feel any sort of kiss could convey even a fraction of his love for you.

The only time he'll do quick pecks is if you've just woken up (demon or not) even so they'll be followed shortly with a longer one, or, if you're asleep (or falling asleep), he'll press a quick one to your forehead or nose.

He doesn't tend to kiss you in public, if he gets insecure or jealous for any reason he'll quickly kiss your cheek but as soon as you're in private he won't stop kissing you, the only time he stops is if you need to take a breather. He'll just start again after though.

Gyokko

Gyokko definitely leaves green kiss stains all over you, whether he's wearing lipstick or not.

He'll proudly parade you round with them. He'd be very happy if you wore lipstick and returned the favor, he calls it artwork.

Would definitely co-ordinate your kiss marks into his pot designs.

Would gladly show off the lipstick marks in Uppermoon meetings, Muzan doesn't mind too much. Gyokko's pots bring in good money, he likes Gyokko.

Gyokko likes short but repeated kisses. He likes to kiss you with one of his mouths and then quickly switches to the other over and over.

Not one for longer kisses.

Gyutaro

As soon as Gyutaro realises you actually like him and you aren't just making fun of him, there's no stopping his kisses.

Marks you EVERYWHERE. He's got someone he considers second most gorgeous (not as much as his sister of course) and he isn't letting anyone else even second guess if you're single or not.

Inexperienced but that won't stop him.

His kisses are a mix of everything.

He likes to go from kissing your lips, down to your jaw and then neck and then collarbone ect.

His rougher kisses are when he's jealous and his softer ones are when he's feeling insecure so you get a fair bit of both.

Daki

Daki likes cheek kisses. Just short cheek kisses.

Not a fan of anything else really, she likes to keep things quick and simple.

I'm sorry to bother you, but I am wondering if it would be okay for me to write a fic in a very similar AU set in season 4 (like full les arbres!river season rewrite)?

I don't want to step on your toes and steal your AU to write a continuation, but your fic is so fantastic that it has completely rewritten my brain and my understanding of les arbres river, and I'm not sure l could write anything that doesn't accidentally draw from it - it feels basically canon to me.

It’s a broad enough idea with so many potential takes on it that I in no way feel a particular ownership over it, and I’d feel absolutely honoured for you to use whatever ideas or themes from my work that are compelling to you, or to more directly continue on with any parts of the specific au I laid out itself - I mean, just as a reader, I’d be so thrilled to get more Les Arbres River fic, especially since it’s such a small tag, and well, personally, I’m frothing at the mouth for more Les Arbres River stuff

At the moment, I’ve got some vague plans for a follow up that would follow some of the events of season four, with some flashbacks about River growing up at Les Arbres and with his Grandparents, but it’s still very very amorphous and in early stages, (and also not necessarily at the top of my WIP priority list 👀)- so please please don’t hold back for the sake of my slow writing or concern about any overlapping ideas, I think that’s kind of inevitable when authors are working from the same source material/canon - and hardly a bad thing as the shared fandom ideas/headcannons about this trope grow, (which I really hope it does!) And also every author is gonna have a different voice, and I think there’s tremendous value and enjoyment to be had in different takes on similar ideas, so don’t worry about treading on any toes!

I headcannon Mike Wheeler as autistic (because we share the exact same strain) and I have a theory regarding Season 5. Many autistic people, including myself, have a warped sense of inherent danger. We will throw ourselves into dangerous situations not fully understanding the risks involved. It’s a dangerous situation, sure, but not so dangerous we should avoid it. Mike also has this problem, what with him diving head-first into every fight. He wants desperately to be a hero, to prove his worth and might as a person—to be remembered. If that means doing something stupid like getting himself killed, then that’s what it takes. It’s heartbreaking, but that’s the world he lives in. Hopper, Eleven, Will, they’ve all sacrificed their lives in some capacity to save the world, now it’s his turn.

Eddie touched on this concept with his “Don’t try to be heroes, not today. There is no shame in running,” but Mike doesn’t see it that way. In his mind, those who run are cowards, afraid to face their fears and fight for what they believe in. Has Mike been a bit cowardly these past two seasons by avoiding his feelings for Will? Yes, absolutely. But that’s his arc. Mike has to understand his actions, why he’s hiding, and the serious danger everyone is in. He has to face the music. Where does this lack of inherent danger come in? Glad you asked.

We all know Mike wants to be a hero. He wants to go down in history as someone good, someone who put others before themselves and saves the world. The Brave Knight, The Paladin. Paladins swear an oath of bravery and loyalty, vowing to avenge any threat that dares harm their allegiance (Byler anyone?). Something will threaten to harm/kill Will in Season 5, and Mike will have none of it. They’re not doing this again. Thus, Mike will throw himself in front of Vecna/Demogorgon/Brenner, etc. to protect Will, not fully comprehending the danger of the situation. He’ll be a hero. Unfortunately, this risky act will most likely cost him his life (temporarily). He doesn’t have to die. He’s the heart.

Lucas says, in the Season 4 hospital, that Max’s heart stopped for over a minute, but it miraculously started again. She is alive. El’s love for her conquered death itself. If we go on the “Will Has Powers” theory, then his love for Mike will conquer death and revive him. Mike only needs to be presumed dead, to be out long enough for Will and El to feel the effects of his death and consider joining Vecna. Because without their HEART, they’d fall apart. Both of them.

Back to what Eddie said, there really is no shame in running. Will doesn’t need Mike to do some egregious, knightly act of sacrifice to prove his love for him. His love is already enough. Will loves Mike for EXACTLY WHO HE IS. He always has, and THAT is the real heart of this story. Mike is not a hero because of what he does, but because of who he is. The way he loves, the way he stands up for what he believes in, the way he treasures his friends and protects them. The way he makes Will feel safe just by being there. That’s what Will fell in love with, not some fantastical DnD character that never actually existed.

Like Mike said in Season 2, “this isn’t DnD, this is real life.” DnD characters are fun, and it’s exciting to dream about slaying dragons or exploding orcs with your Magic Missiles, but that’s not real. It’s a game and it will end. Hit Points don’t magically restore you after a Long Rest and Healing Potions don’t deal 2d4+2 Healing. Actions have consequences and danger is real, even if your brain tells you it’s not. Paladins, Clerics, Bards, Rangers, they’re not real people. But Mike Wheeler is (in this context) and Mike Wheeler is enough. He is so enough. It’s time he wakes up and realizes he doesn’t have to be the Hero, slay the dragon, and make everything better, because it was NEVER HIS FAULT. Bad things happen and, sometimes, we can’t fix them. All we can do is stand beside our partner, hold their hand, and fight along with them—to remind them they are never alone. That, in and of itself, is truly heroic.

Heck yeah, manga day! One of the first ever posts I made on this blog was a redesign of manga Yuya (which id love to redraw as my art has improved heaps since then). I wanted to do something little with him and my redesign of Yuzu- which I haven't shared before.

I personally don't think a teenage boy (well, technically 4) who lives by himself would really want to cook that often. And the Maccas staff wouldn't rat you out for being on the run like your supermarket would.

Scattered thoughts on the manga under the cut:

I headcannon the cast to be a little older in the manga, Yuya and Yuzu to be around 16. I felt like I needed to give them redesigns because of how different they feel from their anime versions.

I haven't read all of the manga, but what I have read I really like. Mentally, I tend to think of them as Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, because Diamond version deals with the legendary Pokemon of Time- as manga Yuya is from the future- while Pearl Version deals with the Legendary Pokemon of Space and I feel like the anime's dimension hopping follows that theme. And also Yuzu shares her English voice actor with the Dawn, the female protagonist of those games X3c

I really like how in the manga Reiji feels more like an actual rival, hunting down Yuya. Yuya is also fantastic, still being cheerful and friendly while having an air of maturity that his anime version doesn't have. While also being Batman. And I love that he can swap out with Yuto, Yugo and Yuri whenever they need. Them being supportive older brothers who don't want him to learn the truth to not devastate him is also super bittersweet. A big reason I use their anglicized names (Hugo, Ute, Joeri) is to mentally differentiate them from their manga versions.

While I think some characters are awesome in this version, there are a couple I don't like. Yuzu feels very vain and surface level. She practically forced Yuya to be managed by her. Shes concerned about money, which can sometimes make an interesting character, but they don't really give her anything else? Like, other than judging Yuya for using Uni and Corn because they were feminine looking but swooning over his more masculine cards, which gave me a huge ick.

Another I don't like in this version is Shun. They massacred my boy. He's such a cool and complex character in the anime, but in this version he's just kinda... Boring. Being angry because you want to be the very best at a children's card game doesn't make you a cool character, it makes you a goddamn redditor.

I still haven't finished the manga (I will one day!!) That's my thoughts on what I have read. If youve somehow made it this far, you're an absolute trooper, thank you for the support. Thank you also to everyone supporting me though my slowdown in art throughout this event, it really means a lot!

Heey Billy I saw that you wanted some Eric newlon/ John Carver requests so here are some different fanfic ideas ✧⁠◝⁠(⁠⁰⁠▿⁠⁰⁠)⁠◜⁠✧

1. Eric takes the reader on a date but everything that could go wrong does go wrong. For example the restaurant messed up his reservation so they have to go somewhere else and then it starts raining. So at the end of the night Eric all bummed out that his date went all wrong but then reader tells him that they had a great time because they got to spend time with him and that they didn't care what they did as long as they were together

2. Let's say John was about to get rid of another victim but when he's about to do so he finds out that this man is an alcoholic and treats his spouse or kid (up to you really) really shitty. The man berates them yells at them saying they can't do anything right and that they wish never married or had them and that they were a mistake and wish they just never existed and how they're the reason he's like this

3. You know the scene where Eric was questioning one of the main girls about the Black Friday night You could do that but with the reader maybe they work there that night and they got hurt maybe they lost an arm or leg and was very hurt when they saw that douchebag's video that was making fun of everything that happened that night they goes to Eric and tells him everything they knows

4. Maybe you could do headcanons about Eric and his daughter from that previous request I sent you or a part two of the fic or a fic about how he found out she was being bullied. Or maybe her perspective when her parents were divorcing

5. And if you want to fic with no reader you can make one about John Carver questioning the dude who made that YouTube video talking about all the deaths that happened on Black Friday the year before and how we thought they were so funny. so funny enough he made a video about it and that he inspired him to make his own video but with different targets.

6. You could write a fic about John's perspective when he's doing all these killings What was going through his mind at the moment. Maybe he felt guilty at the beginning or maybe he got a sick thrill from it

7. What if you changed what happened at the end of the movie instead of the final girl revealing that Eric Is John what if he realized what she was doing and instead made it sound like the final girl was John Carver instead and that she got punished for his crimes so he In the end he got away with it scotch-free

8. Maybe you can do a fic about Eric and Amanda and how they first started their affair and what sparked their desire for each other maybe it's the reason Eric's wife left him

All he felt was rage, desire to end the life of everyone involved in the death of the family he was building. Every time he imagined Amanda in the hospital giving birth to their baby, every time he imagined holding that sweet little thing for the first time... He wished he had an endless supply of heads to axe open.

He did, here in Plymouth, but he had a mission and he was going to keep it.

He tormented the woman in the diner, Lizzie, ripping the skin off her face as she'd been responsible for scalping the love of his life. With a fucking shopping cart.

He only started to feel guilt after the fact each time, having no time to feel guilty compared to the thrill he got from serving justice, warm and comforting. He was comforted. Nobody else was. That was okay with him.

When he'd pretend to be sick and tell his men to cover it up, he would have a sickness in his gut, an ill feeling he needed to get out of him.

Y'ALL ALREADY KNOW hotness 10/10, 6/10 for the possible terrorist backstory that would be oh so fantastic character building, 8/10 for the fact i ALSO happen to be overly obsessed with my own schedule, 4/10 for the fact someone called his hair a deceased pikachu wig and I laughed, 7/10 for the fact his english VA is Griamore from sds and that was weird for a few scenes. OVERALL 9/10 solid gold good man deserves a white picket dream (the remaining 1/10 is for the fact they couldnt help themselves with his spiky hair sticking out, so now it is effectively a mullet instead of just long hair)

7/10 on looks in general i have no strong opinions about his ensemble except that he looks like a lil detective and the IRL Rampo wrote "Boy Detectives Club" and i think its adorable. 8/10 for the fact his brain is awesome and the cockiness. 7/10 for the rivalry with poe because i like it but i havent seen enough of it to be super into their thing yet overall 7/10 I dont have much to say hes just a good boy

5/10 for the design im sorry i hate that the skirt is that low she can have a long skirt but it looks way awk at the hips though that may just be because the skirt goes out instead of just downward like a maxi. the gold hair clip is good i like it. 9/10 for the way she snatched that mans hand and almost took it off, 7/10 for the scenes that make this anime look way sus to my parents (YOU KNOW WHICH ONES I MEAN!) overall 8/10 for everything except that damn skirt

Team baby!! 10/10 for team baby and YES hes the team baby even though kyouka is ALSO the team baby but i'll get to that. 8/10 for being Finny from Black Butler without my issues from black butler. 7/10 for his morals on cows. 8/10 for his everything about his personality. im not rating on attractiveness bc he is fourteen >:1 idk why i wasted y'alls time explaining hes 10/10 for team baby

Ok she was going to be the team baby but then i reevaluated and decided no shes just ATSUSHI'S BABY. 8/10 for how adorable her jellyfish cut is. 10/10 for sad backstory. 6/10 for the fact people ship her with atsushi and the show seems to lean that way as well (I was so happy when Lucy arrived for this reason). 7/10 overall for second team baby

Atsushi Nakajima

6/10 for the fact my phone always autocorrects him to At Sushi. 7/10 for that haircut. 10/10 for awful father figure. 9/10 for the headcannon about his parents engaging in cannibalism that sounded so in-line with the show i thought it was real and not a headcannon. I'm sorry 6/10 for the fact the va uses the same voice for atsushi that he uses for Harlequin in SDS and it trips me up. 8/10 for the fact his eyes cant decide what color to be. 7/10 for the fact it feels weird to see smut with him in it because he is also, effectively, team baby.

This poor guy got NERFED by his own story bro this author wasn't into all this.... sister stuff... but apparently his book character was! Gimme a minute to yak anyways designs are 7/10 pretty basic but do their job effectively and Naomi's appearance actually supports the headcannon shes not real and shes just a product of his ability which i like. The sibling... "relationship" gets 0/10 for EW but kunikida gets 10/10 for telling atsushi to ignore it but then still yelling at them after he gets 7/10 for his general personality, honestly if his devotion to his sister wasnt related to the weird incest stuff i would find it a really great plot device (being devoted to protecting and taking care of your only family left) overall naomi gets 6/10 for being okay and looking properly suited for her environment unless shes around Junchiro Junchiro gets 8/10 for having a sick matrix ability and looking basic but not boring

GOOD OL' CAT LOVING GRANDPA HIMSELF. 3/10 for the fact he knows mori, 10/10 for how he looks after everyone. also 7/10 for the fact im realizing how kunikidas hairstyle might be because he is COPYING FUKUZAWA... anyways. I don't personally find him all that attractive but to be fair he doesn't show up a lot? 8/10 for being a badass. 9/10 because I feel sad that he didnt get to pet the kitty in Wan. Overall, 8/10

• When Kenny parents argue and gets a little too violent, Him and siblings sneak out of the house and either walks around the city, or snesk into Kyle rooms when Sheila and Gerald are asleep

• When stan in high school, Randy makes him drops out and have him work with him at the farm

• every time the boys are hanging out at stan house and Sharon said  Stanley instead of stan Eric cartman for no reason makes fun of him

• If Butter parents grounded to the point that he's has to miss school either Kyle or Kenny would bring him his homework

• After the Leslie incident, Kyle stays off the internet more

• In Cupid ye, Stan tried to hangout with Clyde more, to tried to make Kyle jealous (It's didn't work)

• Kenny, Kyle, Stan and all have matching bracelets, but they hide it from cartman

• On Kyle contacts list, he change Cartman name to pig

• Butters and Kenny are both autistic and they both have special interesting to bluey

• Cartman tricks Butters into watching scary movies

•  Every autumn Kenny broughts the fantastic Mr.fox dvd from Kyle so he can distract Karen as Carol and Stuart argue
