I was writing the Rook x Reader fanfic and it somehow turned into helping Vil with communication issues again… I guess I just feel really strongly about wanting to help Vil become a better person lol.

He makes me want to shake him sometimes. He just has poor interpersonal communication skills… like, yeah, he’s right, but the way he phrased it was unhelpful. He need to be checked sometimes.

Thankfully, those are my two fanfics. We’re helping Vil with his image and how he phrases stuff

Eddie Munson is only 18, but he has it all figured out. He’s got the world’s most beautiful girlfriend, and his band is preparing for their first proper gig. One day they’re going to be world famous, the name Corroded Coffin on everyone’s lips. Everyone’s lips on Eddie Munson. Sex, rock, and revolution, that’s going to be his life.

But then a new kid enters the class and Eddie’s life. There’s something about Steve Harrington that he can’t put his finger on, and Eddie finds himself inexplicably drawn to him. Like an asteroid drawn into orbit.

Eventually he figures out what it is. He’s in love with Steve. It’s all-consuming, but it confuses him. He still loves Chrissy, and he doesn’t want to give up on what he’s got. This realization about himself couldn’t have come at a more unfortunate time, with his relationship going so well, and the gig coming up. When his home life takes an unexpected turn for the worse, the whole mess is complete.

Eddie wants it all. He does his best to juggle all his obligations, to Chrissy, to Corroded Coffin, and to his uncle Wayne, with his newfound infatuation for Steve. Despite his best efforts, he’s caught up in his own web of lies, and he’s at risk of hurting those he cares about the most.

Can Eddie make things right, or will he lose it all?

The way I write my fanfic leaves so much of Mello's toughts for the reader to figure out. Sometimes it's obvious, sometimes I think few will catch what I imagine is happening behind the scenes, idk. I don't think I'm a genious tho, maybe it's easy to read my Mello and I just think I'm doing something cool when I'm not xD But this piece i'm drawing is something that'd happen a lot after Matt found him in LA (and a few other things happened); Mello just watching him sleep while thinking about... stuff, i guess. His imminent death? THEIR imminent death? Or just how handsome Matt looks when sleeping? Welp. Here is a wip of my next mellodramattic fanart! :3

Not an update: just popping up to let people know the work is not dead

It's November 5th. The day the detective fell. I could hardly reread that scene in manga or anime, it just hurts after so many years. We should write more fanfic about him. We should write about more happy moments in life.

Waves. Smell. Wind. Sand. It might be familiar to her, but it was certainly new to L. With all his senses trying to adjust to the stimulation, he could only hang on and keep his eyes glued to the girl—the only being he was most familiar with—who had scurried to the swash zone. She was wearing her sun hat, the one she always wore whenever they went out, with her long black hair waving in the wind. There she was, tapping her toes in the sea water, unconcerned by the waves washing up, sometimes quite strong, wetting the fringes of her simple white dress.

He thought he could remain at the shore.

"Come on, L! Step into the water!"

Maybe not.

He walked closer to where she was standing and paused before the water could reach him. Clumsily, he rolled up the legs of his jeans, but his poor folding skills made his effort futile, with the legs repeatedly dropping back down. In the end, he gave up and instead just pinched the fabric, lifting his trouser legs higher to avoid the water.

"You look like you're hiking up a dress," she giggled, watching him awkwardly step into the water as if it were his first time learning how to walk. "You're a princess, L."

"You do that too; I'm just imitating you."

"Then we're both princesses."

So … I started a new fic - it’s only four chapters long, and I’m nearly finished writing it, just working on cleaning it up already.

It’s a Sandra/Max post-canon pregnancy fic (a prequel to my other stories about Ellie Wilkinson-Bennett - their daughter).

Quite fluffy but there is a decent helping of angst in there too because that’s just fun.

Sorry if this has already been touched on, but could Shiki potentially cure Yuzuki’s illness in the future? I cannot remember if what he has was brought up, but it would be phenomenal if he could be cured! I figured I’d ask since Shiki Ryougi could “end” someone’s cancer, perhaps this Shiki can do the same for the one Gojo she seems to truly be friends with. If there is one character I hope makes it to the very end, I’m not going to lie, it’s Yuzuki even over Nanami.

The potential is there! Will it ever happen though? (Whistles)

I'm somewhat pleasantly surprised that people seem to be liking Yuzuki haha, despite him not having had much screentime in the fic so far. For anyone who enjoys Yuzuki as a character -please look forward to the next update! ;3

We are now at some of the most recent stuff I've drawn and you can really see the improvements I've made in art since the first ones in the queue ALSO HOT DAMN

So backstory- this gal didn't really have a role, just a vague performer at Muffets, UNTIL I remembered burlesque is a thing- so now she is a burlesque dancer, distracting the crowd so everyone else can do whatever illegal shit they want. She's taken the place of Flowey, so her soul situation is,, questionable at best, so she also uses her womanly wiles/ability to change body type to kill off people when needed by the higher ups (she tends to go for a more masculine form when killing cause its less complicated to get away as a guy)

This ref set required 2 hours of research on burlesque (including watching several tutorials and trying to find ANY footage of some from close to the 40s as I could) and an hour research on knives for what she's holding in her masc hitman form- a butterfly knife- because no one would tell me if the mafia used them and I decided fuck it its worth it for the pun and they existed at least

Okay, so here's a Nocturne update. In total, there should be 5 arcs roughly 5 chapters each. Arc 1 and 2 are complete, and with Chapter 11, we will begin arc 3. The fic in total might be up to 120k words.

My goal is to again shoot for an update every two weeks. However, I'll try to be more responsive when things aren't going well and/or I'm taking a break.

Moving forward, I will update my Bio with percentage progress on the next chapter. This will be a rough estimate, but it'll be better than nothing. Also, please remember that Nocturne chapters are generally massive, so yeah something like 10% would be several hundred words, 50% a couple thousand. I do not want to start posting about progress, that will give me a complex. So it will be up to interested parties to check my bio for updates.

In general, if its been two weeks and a few days after the last posting, feel free to harass me - within reason. Everyone's been awesome and super kind, but I don't want to give people blanket freedom to get on my back. Sometimes things are going well and I want to spend time with people instead of writing alone (writing can be really lonely) and then other times things are going poorly and drinking water is an accomplishment

Also, something that helped my block recently was writing for another fandom. I haven't posted for a different project yet, but please understand that I might. This is a good thing! It helped me get my mojo back and write for Nocturne. So like please don't get upset if you see me update other things. coughRipple Effectcough

My goal is to complete this fic before 2024, hopefully by a lot. At the absolute latest, my goal is to complete Nocturne before Season 5 comes out. 2025 is not good news right? But here is my promise as a Fanfic creator who hates in-complete works just as much as the next reader:

If by the premiere of ST episode 1 "The Crawl," Nocturne is not completed, I promise to release my outline.

I understand that this would not be satisfying, and it's something that I don't want to do - I want to finish what I started, I love Nocturne and I plan to see it complete. But life does happen. So if literally all else fails, I will post my outline, and that way you guys will know how it ends.

I have gotten so much support for this fic, like an incredible amount of support. Simply lovely fan art has been made! Which if I think about long enough will make me cry So I want to give you guys the assurance that your time hasn't been wasted, I will finish and if all else fails, you guys will at least know what happens.

I’ve been quite busy these past few days. I’ve been working on Curtains Rises, since the first two weeks of May was just me preparing for my graduation party. I’ve been trying to find a job, since my last one ended, contract was up. I’m still trying to follow my schedule which should be fine, but my internet is going to be out for a few days starting Monday, since I have to switch providers so I’m not paying $200 a month. And I’ve been working on an animatic.

You can see the insanity in Hanji’s eyes. She’s excited. 

Anyway, Sunday might be the last day that I post before the internet’s out. I’ll probably go to a local library or something.
