I remember I used to love The Loud House and I remember first coming across these compilations called "Sad Loud House" on YouTube. They would show fanarts of Lincoln Loud and his Family in depressing and dark situations often involving death, severe injury, blood etc. 5-6 years later, I am here thinking "How terrible can a fandom be to make such messed up fanarts and fanfictions of such a wholesome and light-hearted show."

If you want an example, one of the fanarts showed Lincoln's 15 year old sister, Luna Loud piss drunk in an alleyway.

No, honestly, even tho I love the fun, the action, and everything else in this series, I like the feeling of Kafka still having kind of a darker side to him.

One likes to forget, since he is kinda living his dream being a DF Officer. But he was actually a kinda depressed char at the beginning...? Thinking he is nobody, and can't get nowhere even tho he always tried hard for literally years over and over. Even doing your best can't guarantee your success. And he's struggling/fearing that even tho he got into 3rd Division it might not be enough. (SPOILERS FOR ANIME ONLYS) And struggles even more, when the DF finds more value in his kaiju form, than in him as a human.

I really like season 1 Kafka, but I especially love where they are going with his char-development, the struggle to stay human, and his inner struggle about his own worth. That was...man, that got me.. and his new OST(TM given by me) gives me so much feels about this, I just kinda mixed this fanart thingy into shape.. I know it's messy, but that's like what I wanted it to be? .. messy?... chaotic? (ﾟ ヘﾟ)

So I've been in this fandom since launch. And nothing caused me more damage than a comment to fanart that went, "I thought Genji and Pharah hated each other." Because you KNOW there was nothing in game to support that. That belief was entirely through Fandumb Osmosis. But I can't help but feel Pharah's new Karaoke voiceline has the same energy as the fan-made stuff that spawned that person's comment. Not as severe as the fistacuffs the fandumb loved depicting but I don't like that the devs even hinted towards that out of the blue. Or am I looking too much into it?

I actually had the opposite reaction to this when I heard that voice line. To me that less hinted at beef between Genji and Pharah and more hinted at them being friends. The way Pharah interacts with people is sometimes misread because of her tone but to me the "not even Genji can seem to block it", read to me as the same way she talks to Cassidy. Just poking fun at them. Like she does with most characters.

To be completely honest, my first reaction to hearing that was less "oh they're making them have beef" and more "oh are they giving them a sibling dynamic too?", because that makes the most sense considering that both of them have said they consider Cassidy their brother. To me that's a natural progression of that dynamic. Also I highly doubt that either Cassidy or Angela would tolerate either of them not liking each other specifically because they have a thing for Angela. To me, Pharah and Genji having beef because of that would be out of character for multiple reasons.

Also Pharah just tends to poke fun at the people she's close with, and when she dislikes someone you can usually tell. She isn't like Cassidy or other high charismatic characters who can hide their dislike. I mean, just look at her interactions with Ramattra, or her revive line for Widow.

Like, the "big name fan" incel side of the fandumb doesn't get how Alastor being black rep already is what makes that second shitty figure design all the more worse and people have a right to be angry if they are? And especially the people who are angry who actually like this show?

Anyway, a reminder to all of how ayylmao.tv and iox are ether at least literal neo nazi simps who've implied through their videos how they think Viv Medrano needs to be more like their OTHER favorite youtubers PewDiePie and Logan Paul, or actual neo nazis, so of course they're gonna tell you they don't think that second Alastor youtooz or whatever ugly figurine is racist but I just wouldn't listen to a thing that they say anyway!

It's like that one time I had to even block a fan merchant/marvel loki simp for making Hazbin themed valentines candies and for some reason they went and made Alastor's candy flavor watermelon instead of strawberry but like... Why the fuck does all the official merch for Hazbin outside of the T-shirts have to be so ugly?!

Reversed fandumb case of "if you don’t like X ship you’re [insert-here]phobic" is from the Team Fortress 2 fandom. A long-time fan-popular ship was Scout/Miss Pauling (semi supported by canon in that he had an unrequited crush on her since the beginning; also, there are no other characters in the same age bracket to ship either of them with, making some fans queasy about shipping either of them with older characters). After SEVEN YEARS of canon teasing Spauling in various ways, one of the game's story writers made a tweet about Miss Pauling being gay, saying she's lesbian for comedy - all the other female characters in the canon hate her, so he thought it'd be funny to make her gay and lonely. IMMEDIATELY, within minutes, people started attacking Spauling shippers, calling them homophobic for shipping the pairing (most fans hadn't even seen the tweet; it was on one Valve employee's personal twitter account) and demanding that all "homophobic depictions" be deleted, even fanfics/fanart predating the tweet. As far as I know, Miss Pauling's being gay was never made canon in the game or supplemental material. Even so, I still occasionally see posts on my dash calling out Spauling shippers for homophobia.
