I think it's a bit interesting how much more pronounced Vox's jealously is towards Angel when it comes to Val than any sort of jealousy Val has towards Alastor in regards to Vox.

Like the most Val ever shows is mild annoyance when Vox grabs him and Velvette during Stayed Gone and when Vox screamed that watching Alastor getting his ass beat was "better than sex" (which Val noticeably frowns at. Though if I was the Overlord of Porn, I would feel insulted as well.)

But otherwise? Val seems utterly amused by how pathetic Vox is about Alastor and even teases him for it. Upon learning Alastor returned, it's all "What did you just say?!" And Val just coyly says, "You heard me~". He grabs Vox's cheek with the same mocking gesture as Vox did to him moments before when he was upset even!

But on the flipside, it's abundantly more clear that Vox is jealous of Val's tendency to pay any attention to Angel.

He was practically ignoring this conversation until the slight chance that Angel might be gone comes up and then he's all smiles--only to immediately return his attention to his phone once Val told him otherwise.

And of course, we have this scene with Poison where Vox was sincerely bringing Val's hands closer to his chest, only for him to notice Angel, immediately sour and leave. Val, in turn, seems cross as well afterward.

So what am I getting at with all of this? I guess I just find it intriguing that Vox does seem to be considerably more possessive towards Valentino than vice versa when it comes to jealousy. Vox always has cameras everywhere, watching his off and on partner. He seems to be somewhere between annoyed about Angel to uncomfortable when he's around to the point of wanting to leave what was clearly something of a romantic moment between him and Val.

It makes me wonder if Vox's true undoing is his need for control and his insecurities. It's clear he had a past with Alastor only to seemingly flip all the way over to a hectic relationship with Valentino, who he knows is a porn director and thereby will consistently sleep with people outside of him. And yet, he's stuck on Val just as much as Alastor.

It's not a new observation that Vox is clearly terrified of a loss of control of others and of people who were close to him leaving him.

I just wonder if any of that could extend to Valentino in the future and be his downfall.

She made sir pentious originally as a joke character to make fun of dollcreep (ex-friend). She also copied his art style and character design (no I'm not referring to the ones she legally bought for zoophobia).

It personally doesn't sit well with me to always depict herself as a victim and a "sweet quirky weirdo" when she has done a lot of heinous actions and excuses offensive jokes in her works.

Angel Dust, Lute, and Cherri Bomb were done so dirty in the Hazbin playbill. 😭

Most of Angel Dust’s information was about Valentino’s weird and creepy pornos.

Cherri Bomb’s information just sounded shallow, no mention of being Angel Dust’s best friend. All she likes to do is party and cause problems on purpose.

Lute didn’t have anything… it was classified information. Now they want to make her mysterious, what is she Lilith?

What makes this even worse is that the Hazbin hotel audition sheets had more information and heart into it compared to the playbill. Like I want you to look and compare their audition sheets to the playbill. Major Difference.

This whole playbill situation keeps getting sketchier and sketchier by the day. A simple response from Viv to this individual saying something like "Don't worry, we're working on it!" would have gone such a long way, but instead she decides to do the one thing she does best and just block absolutely anyone who questions her, no matter how polite and non-confrontational they're being. Does she really not realize how incredibly suspcious blocking someone over this makes her look?

I'm no law expert but I really hope someone takes legal action against Viv and Spindlehorse over this, because at this point this whole thing is starting to smell like fraud...

My thoughts on the Playbill Character bios (Part 1):

Was gonna share my theory on Alastor's powers but since SOMETHING possibly leaked and put my theories and thoughts into question I'm putting it on hold for a bit.

Not gonna talk about each character because I don't have something to say for each one.

-Charlie: So THIS is how we find out she has mommy AND daddy issues. Good to know, good to know.

-Alastor: Either writing on a typewriter, glitched the writing somehow, left the caps lock on, or was screaming the entire interview. All fitting to his character. Also, glad to know my joke headcanon that his broadcasts in hell aren't really that scheduled and are whenever. Also he picks people who "wrong him" first to be his 'Guests' genuinely thought those could just be either random demons or ONLY Overlords. And of course, the dude is actively encouraging violence so he can have fun and ends his thing with a smile. :)

-Vaggie: So...Do all the exorcists have training for synchronized dancing? Would explain them doing that during Adam's song in Ep.1. But I'm curious if it's connected to why Vaggie is apparently the best dancer in the hotel or she just naturally is good at it.

-Husk: Why 'Husker'??? I thought it was just a random nickname Alastor made, is that his legit demon name and EVERYONE just shortens it? Also grouchy dude is grouchy. Little disappointed we didn't get another cool lore bomb from him.

-Sir Pentious: FINALLY AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTION!!! The dude is technically not an Overlord. Just wanted to be one or was just beginner level (little sad since he's been around before many of the actual other overlords, but makes sense. He's too nice for his own good). Worked for Carmilla and Vox, explaining why her daughters personally delivered him equipment (he's a former employee so they know it's safe to go in-person) AND why Vox knew of him enough to know he would do anything to join the Vees. I don't believe he made the Egg Boiz himself for the same reason I don't believe Vox beat Alastor in a fight. If it happened, you wouldn't repeat in emphasis. So for people who wanted Pent to have a past partnership with Baxter this is good evidence of that.

-Lucifer: "I miss my wife tails, I miss her so much". I would love to see him and the Sins actually perform on screen. Maybe for Sinsmas episode??? Please.

hot take: vivienne isn't gonna do anything about the playbills because she knows nobody's going to try to take legal action. she can delay/sideline it for however long she wants because she knows she can always distract you guys with new merch drops or helluva boss episodes. seriously, why has no one tried to sue yet? i need a serious answer because at this point i can't even solely blame vivienne for not doing anything, i'm gonna have to start blaming the fandom for letting her get away with robbing them 😭

It would’ve been a cute moment if the pilot cast had a special acknowledgement page in the Hazbin Hotel playbill. The only person who they do mention/acknowledge briefly is Mick (pilot voice of Husk) but that’s only because he plays a minor character in the actual series.

Like if he wasn’t involved at all with the Amazon prime series, the playbill would’ve never mentioned him in the first place.

While, I’m talking about the playbill, why are the VEES (in terms of illustrations) of all people are included more than the actual main group that we, the audience are supposed to be following. Even Keekee and Fat Nuggets also have more pages dedicated to them than the Hazbin squad. Part of me was even secretly hoping that there were more pages that people didn’t post yet.
