Hey, sorry if this wierd ask to bother you with, but do you know what happened to ToThineOwnElfBeTrue? I tried looking up one of their works on ao3, but they're all gone?? Then I tried finding their blog but they deactivated? Which is ashamed because I really enjoyed their works, but I just hope they're OK.

No, I don't. I only found out they deactivated when you reblogged one of my reblogs of their elfo and luci art earlier, and I saw the icon was reset to anon.

I also hope they're ok because they were the only person I knew on here who I could talk to about disenchantment outside of the hype times near season drops. And I always loved their work. But they also often expressed a dissatisfaction with the fandom and how everyone seemed to be a little rabid when it came to artists not drawing what they wanted to see.

You're right about it being a shame, they were very skilled and their work always brought joy to my life when I would get notifications that they posted something. I just hope they're having a good time wherever they went. I will miss them very much.

Friends are hard. Like, making friends is nerve racking and all, but also just keeping friends. I'm kind of like an obsessive person, but if i havent seen you in a hot second, i just kinda forget you exist?

But also, its so hard to maintain friendships, even ones that are inportant to you. I have a firend i've known sience like 3rd grade, and we've been friends sience then. They used to be homeschooled, and we hung out so often. We introduced eachother to a lot of our fandoms, and have just been friends for so long. But recently, they got really into dance, and just started going to a private school. It seems like they are doing really well there, and im sooo happy for them, but they also like stopped talking to me.

To be fair, its not all on them. there were a solid couple of months i didnt reach out, but seince then i reach out and ask if we can hangout, and they always say they have dance, which i get, because i play volleyball, and im gone a lot of weekends, but they never follow up? And recently i asked what weekends they are availible, and they never even responded. And i mean, its been a little wierd the last couple times we hung out, but their friendship really means a lot to me.

Out of all the friends ive made in the last like 8 years, i thought they were the one that was gonna last. the friendship just had that vibe, you know? And it just sucks, because i really like them, and I like talking with them, and hanging out. I love their family, their pets, everything. but like, i do think its over. And it just sucks, because im so glad they have a better social life, im so glad their dance is going well, but I wish we could still hang out.

😒 Hoo boy, leaks are early huh, all I saw was that one ask and I can already tell whatever is going on with Dabi is going to piss me off. Sure is hard to like a guy when he’s got random shit piled into his character last minute that doesn’t even build off of each other or older details. He went from some nobody to suddenly Shigaraki’s 2nd in command off screen (and literal 2nd Shigaraki as a more self aware in control replacement and hair and name parallel) to now all of this.

(+) Re: Dabi being a 2nd Shigaraki. He even has a “the next ones, will be us” type of line for himself. I really wish he’d comment on why he does things because I can’t decide on his thought process, because in between “grrr Twice is gone?!” to “I got his blood, you use it” he has this calm expression as Compress comments on Toga losing her cool. Is that him realizing, “oh, as long as it’s someone she really loves, she can use their quirk” so he’s all chill after his old anger and gleeful on (+) the Machia Ride, tho I wonder why he waited until now to give her the blood? Because it’d look wierd to do it right after Twice died and better AFTER Toga calms down and he destroys her house and she’s fixated on the war? Yeah, right mindset then just as he was confirming. Or did he look that calm and get the blood because oh here’s Toga actually caring about someone who died instead of moving on like Endeavor did, but that’s all guess work! (+) Before this, Dabi was all “anyway, wanna blow this joint?” to Compress, pretty casual and calm of the guy so forgive me for thinking the guy really had other priorities than mourning his villain found family. A man just died Dabi, and you’re talking like you’re out smoking with your buddies? (+) Lmaooo okay so AFO is saying Dabi gave Toga the blood because he wants to see everything destroyed and gone so it can finally heal his resentment, ok really is a second Shig. Rip Hawks, still haunted by Twices. But I’m glad Hori at least acknowledged he made the right choice here. Honestly who better than AFO to validate that really? He IS the ultimate demon lord, knower of all things hero and villain in the pieces they move on the board and all the routes it can lead to.

It's one thing that's been frustrating about Dabi's character and why a lot of my original enjoyment of his character has faded. I'm not above admitting his character didn't go the way I wanted him too in canon so I lost interest, alongside with the manga.

Hmmm, that is a good question as to why Dabi didn't give the blood to Toga during the Machia ride. My assumption is that Hori didn't think about it until later and that's why but if we are to give Hori the benefit of the doubt and fill in the gaps for him, I'd say it's because Toga wasn't in the proper headspace to use Twice's quirk. Her fury back then was hot and raging but now it's cool and collected, she will think through her actions more.

I wonder if Toga was always a contingency plan if Twice ever kicked the bucket? So many questions so few answers.

Lol, I do find it funny that once again it's pointed out that Dabi's actions weren't for others but for himself and this was noticed by a fellow villain (one who is very similar to Dabi by his own admission). And yeah, I'm glad that AFO acknowledged that Hawks made the right move as well, one thing I will praise Hori over is having an enemy acknowlegde the actions of the heroes and how it hindered them instead of being useless like fandom like to cry.

Asoiaf fandom is wierd like fans can always excuse characters like the Hound and Litllefinger but when it comes to the barely pubrencent teen girls than they act like Jeyne Poole deserved to be tortured and raped by Ramsay cuz she called Arya "horseface'' once like wtf is wrong with people or that Sansa needs to end up with the ugly pedophile who tried to force himself on her cuz she was a bad sister, really like is empathy gone in this fandom?

Yesterday’s film was the 3 part syfy original Tin Man made by the same guy who brought us Alice: the gloriously bad cgi, vaguely edgy story loosely inspired by Alice in Wonderland featuring Tim Curry for 30 seconds.

So Tin Man like Alice, is set centuries later and very loosely based on the source material, the world is entirely different but a few concepts are sort of the same. Alice the miniseries has a few lines when Alice first lands in the new world to explain this but Tin Man doesn’t give us any explanation on why this Oz is not our Oz until at least three hours in. It’s just the Oh Zee now! It’s hilariously bad, the storytelling is a mess but there’s a core story that’s slowly unfolds that is beautiful and Alan Cumming and Kathleen Robertson really carry this thing. Neal McDonough is also acting his butt off but seems to be in a different more serious series from the rest. He’s the Tin Man but he’s not the main character, which is a shame, he has a decent arc and I can see why there’s a niche fandom shipping him and Alan Cumming’s Glitch. We’re shown that he’s tinman because he was kept in a tin man (iron maiden) and has lost his heart but then the story goes “no actually he’s a tin man because that’s what this world calls sheriffs”. The flying monkeys? they come out of the evil witches chest tats so we get a lot of corset cleavage closeups. You just have to roll with it.

Zooey Dechanel is our protag Deegee and no that’s not an acronym for Dorothy Gale, she’s even called Deege by friends. Bless her she’s terrible at this kind of improv-heavy-pantomimey show: she’s supposed to be quirky and bewildered but it comes across like she didn’t learn her lines and has no idea what to emote. But like I said, by episode two, you just lean into the wierdness and cringe and inbetween following the cryptic clues to find another mcguffin to find the big magic mcguffin it becomes a touching story about family and found family. Everyone else is 100% committed though not sure everyone got the memo about tone! It’s got these campy moments and then moments when the serious ac-tors are playing off eachother and you’re briefly in a different show with a different vibe altogether.

Okay so I’ve gone into the so bad it’s good stuff and why this might be a fun watch but the show has a fatal flaw beyond pacing and mishmash storytelling and tone. So when Deegee lands in oz she’s immedately captured by munchkins: little people in a full face of red or blue with “tribal” designs who live in the trees and eeesh how long can I suspend my disgust? Thankfully it quickly moves on and everything’s back to fantasy tropes but nothing wierd (like little people or albinos or scarred people played as villains) then Toto the dog shows up at the end of the second act and my jaw dropped and I scream-laughed it’s so offensive...

Hope you’re sat down... so Toto the little dog frees Deegee from prison and when they’re outside, the dog shapeshifts into an older black man and it’s Blu Mankuma that dude you know from at least two shows and some voice work... the one black character that isn’t a butler... to be her magic guide to discover herself, I’m not kidding about the wording T_T so Toto is her childhood mispronunciation of her “Tutor”, he doesn’t get a name and he spends half his time on screen as a dog or as magic guide voice that she remembers in her head at pivotal moments. He’s not even present at the end for the hugs and final frames with everyone important. Like he um vanished when *nose squeak* he’s no longer needed. Toto appears for 1 second of triumph... as a wagging dog. it’s like the magical black guide* trope but cubed. (*i’m not getting anon hate for saying the official names of the racist tropes again)

I’m not sure how to rate this: it’s got moments of camp but so much less queer than the wizard of oz should be, it doesn’t lean into the darkness of the source materials like Emerald City, it’s got a lovely set of stories but it takes a very longwinded way of getting there. They use their CGI more sparingly and there are some good sets and concepts but we spend a lot of time travelling from one to another and back. The design isn’t consistent: there’s some steampunk, the baddies are SS but with more buckles, there are metal princess dresses and then you get a hippy van with hindu deities on it and a cabaret. The magic isn’t consistent. It feels like they started with a coherent vision then got lost in several dozen details that don’t fit. There’s some decent storytelling and very good acting under the mess. I think you could probably edit out half and reshuffle some exposition to make a decent story but As Is, I can’t recommend 3 x 1h30 with racist tropes, gratuitous violence and far too much going places to find the thing to find the next thing. I enjoyed the lads’ bantering and Azkadellias outfits and duality.

Request: Hi would it be possible if I requested a Matt Casey one shot where she’s Kelly’s half sister and she’s new paramedic the firehouse. One night she tells Blake how she’s always had a crush on Matt and he overhears her. What happens when he kisses her in front of everyone at the firehouse?

Being Kelly Severide’s half-sister meant that the entire firehouse treated you basically the same; even though you weren’t that much younger they looked out of you like you were their kid sister. 

Kelly had just started working at 51 when you’d found out about him. Your dad, Benny, hadn’t exactly always been around, but when you’d told him you were moving to Chicago, he’d finally told you about your brother. It had been a shock, and you’d been angry that he’d kept it from you for so long, but you were glad to have a sibling, and you and Kelly had clicked right away.

Eventually he’d started to introduce you to the guys at the firehouse, including one Matt Casey, and you’d been crushing on him ever since. You’d tried not to, he only saw you as Kelly’s sister and nothing more, but you’d always been pretty close with him since you met, and you’d never been able to get over the feelings.

Now you were a paramedic there, and it had just gotten worse. You hadn’t applied for 51 specifically when you’d made it through training, moving from your nursing job at Med, but Boden had requested your transfer there to fill a spot on ambo 61. 

Everyone had welcomed you to 51, especially Casey, although Kelly had originally been hesitant about his little sister being out on the frontlines and in the line of literal fire. But you were a natural, and he’d soon put those fears to rest. 

It had been a few months now, and you found yourself lying on the bunk next to Gallo on a particularly slow shift, discussing his complicated relationship with Violet. “You asked her to marry you?” You laughed in disbelief, turning your head to face him from where you had been staring at the ceiling. Gallo was filling in on ambo with you for the day, Sylvie taking some personal time out to visit her new sister, and you’d both crashed in the bunk room to chat after a couple of very boring wellness checks. 

“Look, it wan’t- I wasn’t serious, it was the heat of the moment- I don’t know okay?” Gallo rambled, definitely kicking himself for being so stupid. “I should just fake my death and move to a different country, I’m such an idiot.”

You laughed even more, glad you weren’t in his shoes as he tried to navigate whatever his relationship with Violet was. “Okay, enough about me, what about you? You got anyone? I won’t tell your brother I swear,” Gallo promised with a grin, changing the subject away from his embarrassment. You might have called him out on it and kept the conversation going, but you knew he was already getting it from Ritter and Cruz, so you didn’t push it anymore.

“Me? Nah, living the single life,” you answered, mind going to your ever present and annoying crush on Casey as you picked at the cuffs of your sleeves, grey CFD sweater a size too large.

Gallo caught the distant look in your eyes, “...but there is someone you like?” He asked slowly, your turn to feel embarrassed as you felt your cheeks heat up. Were you that obvious? “Oh, there totally is!”

You and Gallo had become good friends, both having joined the station at around the same time, even though you’d known everyone else for years, you’d still been navigating the place together. Could you tell him this? You hadn’t told anyone, especially not your brother, but you wanted to get it off your chest. 

Gallo gave you an encouraging look, and you knew he wouldn’t let it go now, and you didn’t want him trying to find out when you weren’t alone, so you took a breath and told him after casting a final look to Casey and your brother’s dark offices. 

“I might... have a little thing for Matt,” you said quietly, nervously awaiting his reaction as he eyes went wide.

“Captain Casey!?” Gallo gasped as he sat up, way too loud for your liking. You put your finger to your lips and shushed him, sitting up so that you were facing him.

“Would you keep it down? I don’t want the entire firehouse to know,” you slapped his knee a little and he nodded, still visibly amused. “Look, I- I’ve had feeling for him for a long time, but it was never going to happen then, and it certainly isn’t going to happen now, I mean, I’ve always just been Kelly’s kid sister and now I actually work at the firehouse.” 

“Why did you never go for it before?” He asked, and you couldn’t deny that you’d thought about it. What if he said yes? What if he said no? You’d played countless scenarios in your head as you’d had a drink with him at Molly’s, worked with him at Med or spent time with him at 51 and Kelly’s, but reality was a lot more daunting. 

“Because he’s... Matt, even when he wasn’t my superior he was still my brother’s best friend, I’d have better luck at trying to cross a mine field with an aweful lot of mines unscathed,” you told him, running your hands through your hair. You’d untied it when you lay down, but now you figured your put it back up for something to do with your hands other than self-consciously pick at your sleeves.

“Maybe he likes you too and he has the same fears as you do, namely the wrath of Lieutenant Severide, not that I could blame him,” Gallo suggested as you shook your head.

“Oh yeah, because that’s likely,” you said sarcastically and he raised an eyebrow as if to say ‘you never know’, “I’d rather just try to get past it without making anything wierd, it’s my problem not his.”

Gallo was about to reply when the alarm bell sounded, a pile up that required all vehicles to attend. You and Gallo jumped up and headed for the door, but not before you caught sight of Casey emerging from his quarters.

Your stomach dropped at the realisation that he’d been in there the entire time. His light had been off and his door had been open a crack so you’d naturally assumed he wasn’t in there, but he must have gone in there for a nap before you and Gallo got back from your wellness checks. 

Praying he had been asleep the entire time you made your way to 61, Gallo giving you an ‘oops’ look as Casey headed past you both to Truck, but the look in his eyes when they briefly met your told you that that was wishful thinking, he’d heard you alright.

You did your best to compartmentalise that as you climbed into the drivers seat next to Gallo, you had a job to focus on, you’d have time to think about faking your death with Gallo and fleeing the country in embarrassment later.

Fires out, people safe, no casualties; one crisis averted, one more to deal with. Gallo had tried to reassure you that Casey hadn’t heard any of it on the drive back, but he wasn’t even managing to convince himself, let alone you. 

So you’d made a beeline straight for the showers when you got back, going out of your way to avoid Casey in what little time you had left on shift. Who knew, he might just forget all about it?

Alas, he didn’t. You’d nearly made it out, making your way into the crisp morning air as the sun came up, just wanting to get back to your car and bury yourself under your covers, forgetting all about what had happened. Then Casey had caught up with you.

“Hey, Y/N, wait up a second,” Casey called from behind you, the sound of quick footsteps approaching as reached you. You swallowed, ignoring your feeling of dread as you turned to face him.

“Hey... er... what’s up?” Smooth Y/N, really subtle, you thought to yourself as you mentally ran through potential names to put on your fake passport. Casey gave you a small, conscious smile, and you knew he wanted to bring up what he’d overheard you say earlier, but didn’t know how. Neither did you, which led to a very awkward few seconds where you imaged the ground swallowing you whole. 

Finally, Casey spoke up. “I wasn’t eavesdropping, I heard my name and I was going to come out but then I heard... more and I thought it would be better if I just stayed in my office, and then the bell went off-” He stammered. 

Turns out it wasn’t the whole firehouse that heard Gallo practically yell Casey’s name, just Casey himself. “I’m sorry, so sorry, I didn’t- I wasn’t try to- I don’t know what I’m trying to say honestly, obviously I never meant for you to hear that and I don’t want this to be weird or anything so if we could just like pretend I never said anything and-” You were talking way too fast but you couldn’t help it. Casey had said your name a couple of times as you spoke, to try and get you to slow down or stop but you’d just kept going.

So instead, he’d tried a different method of shutting you up, and he kissed you. You stumbled back a little, very much surprised and caught off guard, Casey stepping back quickly as your brain tried to process what had just happened, mouth moving slightly but no words coming out. You probably looked like you were short-circuiting.

“Just to clear up any doubts about how I feel,” he told you, hand still lingering on your arm as you regained your senses. In all the fantasy scenarios you’d run through in your head, Casey kissing you was better than you could have expected. 

“Wow, okay,” you said, unsure of how to respond but Casey chuckled a little and you began to relax, matching his smile, very much forgetting that you were both still just outside of the firehouse. 

“Hope I’m not interrupting,” a voice said intentionally loudly and you and Casy jumped, looking away from each other towards the source, Kelly. He stood a few feet away, arms crossed, jaw clenched as he stared at his best friend, and then his sister. 

You risked a glance behind Kelly, to see that your kiss had been very public indeed, basically the entire firehouse kind of public. Gallo even gave you a thumbs up and you would have laughed if your brother wasn’t standing so close, looking like he was debating punching Casey.

Stella was giving you a look that was a mix of support and sympathy, but she rightfully wasn’t inserting herself into this, the rest of the firehouse seemingly waiting for Severide’s reaction before they said anything. 

“The hell took you guys so long?” You brother said finally, to the shock of both you and Casey as a smirk spread across Kelly’s face. Casey’s shoulders visibly relaxed and you let out a little sigh of relief. Were you confused? Yes. Were you going to dare question it? No chance. 

“You’re not... mad?” Casey did dare and Kelly laughed, shaking his head.

“Why would I be mad? Okay, sure, in the beginning when I realised you guys were into each other? Yeah, I was mad, but I’ve had years to get over that,” he told you both as you caught Cruz reluctantly handing Stella what looked like a twenty. 

You rolled your eyes at your brother, glad he wasn’t mad as you glanced at Casey, a grin on his face as Kelly offered out his hand to shake as some kind of sign of approval. 

Casey shook it as Kelly added: “hurt her we’ll all bury you,” he informed his Captain matter-of-factly with a head nod towards the rest of the firehouse who sounded their agreement.

“I’d expect nothing less,” Casey replied immediately as Kelly winked in your direction. 

“Walk you back to your car?” Casey offered, probably wanting a little bit more privacy to talk, and you quickly accepted, going red from the attention, following him away from the firehouse as Kelly jokingly made a sign that meant ‘I’ll be watching you’ in Casey’s direction. 

All in all, not the day you had been expecting, not that you were complaining.

Spoilers for Attack on Titan ending behind the cut (though I’m probably the last one to read it). I already aplogize for mistakes, I just finished the last chapters and I’m really shaken!

So yeah, I was gone for some days before I could read the last chapters of Attack on Titan and I didn’t want to get spoiled so I avoided all social media. Now I’ve read it and what should I say? I’m really broken atm... I cried my eyes out. I haven’t read since Hans died, they were my favorite and was high on the LeviHan ship but yeah... it’s aot so of course I was let down xD Now I read the last chapters tonight and I must say: I liked the ending. I don’t want to say too much. I never was a huge shipper in aot and I stayed out of the fandom mostly (it’s been way to toxic for me) but I was crying my eyes out over Eremika! That cottagecore in chap 138?! Please let me read a whole sappy love novel about those four years they have together there! Imo it’s a good ending. I would have like the fantheorized ending of a “reset world” too, maybe I would have even like that one more but I think it’s a fitting ending for a bitter sweet story.  I started watching aot for the beautiful animations, cool fight and to find out what*s behind the titans. I stayed for the cool characters when the story started to get a bit wierd. I was COMPLEATELY shocked by the reveal what really was behind the titans and how this typical fighting shonen manga turned into a holocaust metaphore within a few chapters/episodes. Deaths of beloved characters crushed me and made me cry like a baby. The last arc was SO wild! I was really confused most of the time but I COULD NOT STOP READING! I love how Isayama managed to build 3 dimensional characters. For exampe Gabi - I hated that brat when she shoot Sascha. I hated her when she was with the Braus-family feeling nothing but hatred for those “island-devils” and I started to LOVE her when she finally came to realize, that they all were the same. That little brat is one of the best written characters I can think of! As I said, I was never a huge shipper in this fandom. I liked the idea of Levihan and loved their dynamics and those last words between them broke my heart but I liked a lot of couples. For a long time (when I only watched the anime until season 3 I thought Historia and Eren would have been a great couple but those last chapters have left me as a die hard Eremika fan! But yeah, I don’t want to say too much, probably already have. Just needed somewhere to put my thoughts in? I’m still so confused, my aot buddy is not answering my whatsapp and my SO is his usual “Tsk, you crying over your anime?” *rolles eyes and smiles gently* so I have to throw my heart at somebody. It absolutely drives me nuts that people (mainly on twitter) are like "Misha shouldn't have to apologize because Misha should be able to make the same jokes we do." HE ISNT US THOUGH. He's not some random person hiding behind a profile pic that isn't him. He's not some d-grade actor. He's probably one of the most influential people in fandom. He's a huge reason why we are able to talk so openly about fandom. Stop f*cking dismissing people for being uncomfortable with him making a joke that wasn't a dismissal of an incestuous ship that probably would have made certain incestuous shippers feel like they can berate people for being uncomfortable with incest more than they already do. Incest shouldn't even be openly talked about in the first place and the joke made w*ncest seem common and okay especially if you don't know he doesn't ship it or have a reason to argue with people that incest is ok. And considering what's gone on in the "spn family" lately, it's not wierd for people to be nervous if someone from the show were to make a comment like that.

I understand telling people to not say death threats or disgusting comments that have nothing to do with what's being talked about or a random personal attack but stop berating people for commenting that the joke didn't sit right omfg.

Sorry I took so long with the answer I've just got a bit stucked with ask for favorite fanfics. Also the rant I have strong opinions about a things I shouldn't have.

4. Link your three favorite fics right now.

Ozymandias is one of the first lonelyeyes and Jonah centered fanfics I've read. I still regularly returns to it I love it so much.

Necessary oversight got overall very interesting vibe but the lighthouse aesthetic the way their relationship develops there... I really love the fic.

Also are you trying to get advertisement because of course I have ever to mention at least one of your fics. Heart Machinations still got special place in my heart so I'll put here that.

There so many other amazing fanfics... I'll do some rec list one day I swear!

5. What are your fanfic pet peeves? Do they have a huge effect on whether or not you decide to read something?

I mean you an still write a masterpiece on ship you don't particularly care about but now I will have to think the whole fic about the fact you don't actually care about it...

I think I've answered this question already here...

But yes of course I do a research! I need realism in my self-indulgent fantasies! Sometimes I feel like my research is way too deep for my own good... (I cannot enjoy the pirate AUs I know too much about pirates now...)

23. What’s your absolute favorite trope to write?

Again I already mentioned few things here...

But what I haven't mentioned is "Relationship which cannot be". It doesn't necessarily have to be also love/hate it's more of a forbidden relationship. Where participants may reciprocate feelings but there's some reason why they ultimately cannot be together.

44. Rant about something writing related.

One last thing I quite passionately dislike are AUs for sake of AUs... Now I don't mean some super specific self-indulgent crossovers... I mean fanfics which author starts write just for aesthetic purpose and abandons them after two chapters.

This is very typically especially for all the Harry Potter AUs. Author usually just wants to share with a world their headcannons for Hogwarts houses but has no further plot.

But it can happen in any other AU as well especially all those college and high school where only exciting thing that happens is characters playing Truth or Dare.

Is it wierd that I'm sad about the show ending?

Not at all. The show’s been with us for so long, it’s only natural to miss that presence when it’s gone. I know for me, it still hasn’t quite sunk in yet...

But you should know. In this past week I’ve been talking with lots of fellow pony content creators, and there seems to be a pretty big consensus; we don’t want to stop making pony stuff. Even after nine years, there’s still stories to write, scenes to paint, songs to sing, memes to... meme, and so on. MLP has carved a cozy little home in all our hearts, and, the thing is, when you really get down to it, making pony stuff is fun. It’s just fun. They’re fun characters, it’s a fun, creative world, and there’s a huuuuge fun community for it. That last point cannot be overstated. The pony fandom has spoiled me rotten with fun feedback.

So yes. It’s okay to be sad (thinking about never again hearing another Applejack countryism just... pricks my heart). Embrace those emotions, because it means you’ve had a lot of good times. But do know Equestria isn’t dead; It will continue to live on through all of us, creating together. Like it has for so long now.

Summary: Or the four times Shouto Todoroki saw someone flirting with Fuyumi and the one time he did something about it.

The first time it happened it took him by surprise and it left as soon as it came. He was also not prepared.

The whole class had just came back from winter break and were all sharing stories from their time apart in the common room. Mina had gone ice-skating, Jirou, Kaminari and Momo went to a concert together, Koda had gone to a rally in the park, Hagakure and Ojiro were now officially dating.

“What about you guys?” Asui asked, looking at him, Midoriya and Bakugou. “Did you do anything apart from the internship kero?”

“Well, I spent a lot of time with my mom. And my dad came back for two weeks, so I also spent a lot of time with him.” Midoriya said as his cheeks turned pinkish for being in the spotlight. “Oh, and I had dinner with Kacchans family.”

Bakugou growled at that as everybody chuckled at the image. They sometimes forgot how close the two actually were. Then all eyes turned to him. Guess it was his turn to talk.

“I…. I learnt how to make snow cones with my sister…”

“WAIT,” Kaminari interrupted him. “You have a sister?”

“Yeah, her name is Fuyumi. She’s a teacher…” He said, taking out his phone and displaying a photo of her on the screen (a selfie Natsuo took with him and Fuyumi squished to his side) and passed the phone for his classmates to see.

Their reaction were… wierd. At least for him. Fuyumi was like a second mom to him. She cooked for him, cleaned, took care of him, she even helped him in some subjects to enter U.A. So other people calling her thing like, cute, nice, or other was not what he was accustom to.

“Man, I sure wish your sister gave private classes….” Mineta slured with drool dripping out of his mouth. He was stopped by Jirou and one of her earjacks.

“What….”

“So, IIDA,” Shouto got interrupted again but this time by Sero “What did you do on winter break?”

The second time lasted longer. And Fuyumi was there. Sort of. He wasn’t prepared this time either.

They had just left the hospital after an evening with Mom and were going to their now usual hangout, a small french cafe. They had come so many times that the staff already knew their orders by heart.

He went to the register as Fuyumi picked a table for them. But as he was waiting in line to order, he couldn’t help but listen part of the conversation between two men in front of him.

“You saw the hottie that just entered… the one sitting alone in the back,?”

"Yeah, what do you think her bra size is?”

He stoped listening after that. He was not going to pay attencion to two pigs without manners. Soon they left with their order and Shoto received his minutes later. When he turned to find his sister, he saw the two pigs were next to her table while she was looking at her phone, completly ignoring them.

He didn’t understood it. Why would they do that? And with Fuyumi no less.

Yes he knew his sister was pretty and polite, but that didn’t mean that guys should go after her. Yes, she was in a dateable age, but… but… Fuyumi didn’t date and that was it.

He was marching there with every intencion of roasting the two pigs, when they left on their own. But not before giving her a flimsy piece of paper and throwing her a kiss.

When he sat on the table, he asked her what happend to which Fuyumi responded: “Nothing I couldn’t handle, don’t worry. Besides, it happens all the time.”

Oh, okay. His sister could handle it…..

Wait, what does she mean by all the time?

The third and fourth time happened so close to each other that he was not able to react to neither of them. Even though he was prepared.

It was during an open class day. Kind of like a culture festival, but only two people per student. Natsuo wasn’t able to come due to a tournament, so Fuyumi came alone.

The day started as a normal school day, except when the heroics class came, the students guest’s were able to watch and or participate. During his hero class, he saw Fuyumi chatting animatedly with a guy on a wheelchair. Most likely Iida’s brother.

That was okay.

He was okay with that.

Iida Tensei was respectable, polite and hard working…. and if anything did went wrong, he was in a wheelchair…. a little push and it was over….. so, yes…. he was okay with it….. he was…

Okay, he wasn’t. Why wasn’t he?

And apparently he was starring too. Because Midoriya asked him what was wrong. “Nothing, I just…. nothing” He responded turning his back to his sister and watching her laught with the ex pro-hero.

"Todoroki, why are you glaring at Iidas brother?" Asui asked him bluntly as always. He could feel how everybody was waiting for his explanations to why he was rudely starring at a disabled man.

"Hey, pay attention half and half bastard!" To be honest, he has never been more grateful for Bakugou's crude language.

When the exercise was over and class A and B joined their guest, the first thing he noticed was another guy talking to his sister.

This one was blonde and his laught was just like Monomas. He looked like an asshole.

"Why is everybody flirting with my sister?" He asked himself with a sigh quietly.

But apparently not quiet enough, since Mineta decided to answer him.

"She does have a great size of knockers"

Judging by how fast Minetas face had turned white, he must of not have reacted well to that.

The fifth time he saw it happened he did something. He was prepared. Or so he thought.

He was just arriving home for the weekend when he heard it. Laughter. From his sister and somebody else. He pressed himself against the tatami wall to hear better.

"... and somehow we ended up in the roof of the Empire State"

"You have the wildest night out, Takami"

Who the hell was Takami?

"Well, we are always looking for another partner in crime. We loved if you come"

Once he heard that, he automatically slided the door open. And in the couch, way too close to Fuyumi, holding a cup was the number 2 hero, Hawks. The door opening made both adults look up and, thankfully, separate a little.

"Hi Shouto" Fuyumi welcomed him with a smile "How are you? How was school?"

"Fine" He responded as he sat in between them. "My scar itches though, do we have something for it?" He turned his back to Hawks to ask his sister.

"I think we still do. Wait here" With that she left the room.

"Your eye okay, Shouto?" And now to deal with the bird infestations.

"No. You should leave" He told him looking at him dead in the eyes. He only got a confused stare as a response.

Time to bring out the big gun. "Does Endevor know you are here flirting with his only daughter?"

He doubted his old man would care. But from his reaction, he didn't know that. Perfect.

"I have the cream for your scar Shouto." And just in time for his sister to come back into the room.

She handed it to him and asked if he needed help applying it. "No, I'm fine. Thank you, sis". He smiled at her and then returned to stare at Hawks.

She smiled in return and turned to Hawks, who jumped back to his feet when he felt her gaze. "Is everything okay, Takami?"

Suddenly, Hawks grinned at him but changed it to a smile when he turned to Fuyumi.

"Yeah, I just didn't realise what time it was. But..." He took out a napkin and a pen from the pockets of his hero costume and scribbled something down. He then gave the napkin to Fuyumi. "If you want a wild night out, call me."

His sister turned red like a tomato while he saw red. He chased Hawks out of the house and once he left, he went back to Fuyumi to see her staring confused at the napkin with Hawks number.

What got you into Star Wars?

Literally, a lightsaber being stuck into my hand, at 7yrs, and being asked to be Vader to my cousin’s Luke Skywalker. I’d never heard of SW till that moment, and I fell headfirst into the Dark Side and in love with the galaxy far, far away! Its been the one franchise that as been a constant for me, the whole time growing up, and I’ve loved having something SW to look forward to every few years. SW and Reylo lifer! 😁😁😎😎

“You are not alone.” The minute Kylo/Ben said those words, I was gone for Reylo. No true villain would give a flying fuck about his so-called adversary’s mental and emotional health. When their hands touched? I screeched in that theatre! And I may have yelled at Luke as well. Walked out and hunted for Kylo/Rey fanfics and the rest was history!

Why do you write / make art?

I do because the stories show up and make it impossible for me to do anything else but tell them. They buzz and breed and drown out all other sounds, like manic mosquitoes. They can be quite a nuisance that way, but... *throws up hands* ... I gots to do what they tell me to do! 😆

Favorite Star Wars Movie

The Last Jedi was the most beautifully written and shot movie in the entire franchise, with a depth of characterization and exploration of symbolism that was brilliant. This will always rate as the best for me. A close second, and one I will always love, is Empire Strikes Back. That was quintessential Star Wars and an amazingly good watch - snark, action, angst, love, betrayal, rescue, OMFG!

What do you like to write / draw / paint the most?

Until I started writing Reylo, I’d never been able to write fiction. I could never visualize the stories. And once I started, I haven’t been able to stop! I’ll write anything Reylo, I’ll try writing anything at least once (so, yeah, there may be dark fic as well one day!). My style defaults to either mildly angsty, or humour-laced fluff, or depraved smut. So, not sure what that says about me 😂

Blacks, Reds, Greys, slashes of bright turquoise and white and ochre. Blue and white-striped awnings shading an alfresco cafe, overlooking a green ocean. Bright, city lights, reds and yellows glinting off the black water of a bay. A busy airport, with the scents of perfume from Duty-Free as you zoom past it.

What's your ideal environment for writing / creating?

In a hotel room, on my own. In the back of cab, in the window-seat of an airplane. At my desk, looking out through the window as the breeze blows through the trees, and the Burn This playlist keeps going on repeat. 

Are you a dom or sub?

Both? Both is good.

What's the most exotic/wierd place you've gotten intimate?

On the back of a bike, in the middle of the night, stopped at a traffic intersection.

What's your kink?

I’ve always had Taz as a nickname, for the Warner Bros Tasmanian Devil (yes, I’ve been known to be exactly like that! 😂). Wren is a nod to Kylo Ren, and the fact that one of the earliest fanfics I read had Rey naming her son ‘Wren’ as a backhanded pointer to Kylo! So I’m, Taz, a Knight of Ren.

I can be both, till I fall asleep. Then, pls leave me tf alone 😬😁

Favorite fic you read

There are so very many in this amazing fandom! The one that I’ve loved from the beginning, though, is The Art of Broken Pieces - a beautifully written Bendemption fic. 

Favorite fic you wrote or favorite art you made

God, this is hard! My recent favorites are Brooklyn Bridge Blues, Caught Between Beats, and A Taste For Two - I like that I’m able to explore a variety of stories and emotions through them. I’m most proud of Confidences To A Stranger because I was able to explore a storytelling medium that I hadn’t before. 

Favorite SW character besides Kylo and Rey

Padme Amidala - she reminds me of my mother and grandmother, both of whom were strong women, who got shit done, while always taking care of their people. She was a queen in more than just name. Han Solo - I am weak for a scoundrel/villain/bad boy in a leather jacket, with a hardass, snarky exterior that hides a heart of gold. The reluctant hero.💙
