Angel Byrd doing a big stretch. I love having an OC so much, I highly recommend it. Everyone should have a funky little comfort character that's all theirs
#Angel Byrd#Hidden Cane#My New Years resolution is to post at least 4 drawings a month#I'm tired of not drawing

Happy 14th anniversary, friendship is magic. The target demographic is finishing college about now. Give it one more year and I think it'll be old enough for Hasbro to just reboot it instead of making a gen 6 lol
#my little pony#rarity#hidden cane#Did you know this is the first time I've drawn Rarity in four years?#I did not know that. I mean I drew Clarity for Miss Pie's Monsters but that's different#I thought I was gonna be really rusty drawing her again. But honestly the muscle memory kicked right in#Drawing her feels nostalgic

Last year I drew Angel Byrd as Ripley for Halloween, so this year I figured I'd have her switch sides.

Whoa wait…! I knew this character looked familiar, I drew fan art of them when I was a kid!
I absolutely adored the design. Still do!

Thanks to some convoluted shenanigans, my old Scum and Villainy character (Angel Byrd) got to briefly meet my current Blades in the Dark character (Malchental). It was like if the Bebop crew crash landed into an episode of Castlevania: pretty silly and very awesome.
#Malchental isn't actually that small. She's just very baby#Scum and Villainy#Blades in the Dark#Angel Byrd#Hidden Cane

Please settle a debate for me and a friend. One of your art pieces is of an anthro Applejack holding a shield and a weapon. I think it is a sickle and a friend I showed it to thinks it is a gaff hook. Can you tell me which it is? Thank you.
(I'm assuming it's this one, but I've drawn so many Applejacks so maybe I'm forgetting another one lol)
So! I did not know a gaff hook existed until just now. When I drew this, I'm sure I just meant to draw a very stylized sickle. I think my idea was that she was just picking up whatever farm tools she could repurpose as weapons? But looking at gaff hooks now, I can definitely see the resemblance! Honestly the hook is too small to be a good sickle anyway. If anything, it's like a middle ground between the two.

If I had a nickle for every friend I met through MLP:FiM that realized they were transgender within the past decade, I'd have nearly 50 cents.

Ten years ago, TheeLinker recruited me to help make the La Da Dee PMV, which we premiered at the 2014 Bronycon PMV Contest panel. It won Best in Show and was my all-time favorite moment of being in the pony fandom. A few years later we released the extended director's cut of La Da Dee, which was also super fun. It's amazing to me that, to this day, the videos still get comments, people talking about how much it means to them, how it reminds them of happy memories...
I wanted to do a little something to celebrate the 10th anniversary. I drew these doodles here, and TheeLinker himself actually volunteered to add the bit of animation for me! It felt just like old times.
And also, I thought I could do something that I meant to do a long time ago. I dug through my decade old macbook to share most of the pony drawings I made for La Da Dee. Beneath the break will be a big ol' collection of ponies... wait, there's so many ponies, they won't all fit in one post. Guess this will be multiple posts lol.
