The duality between these art prompts is art life as usual!

I like me some simple subjects and symbolism (and alliteration too ;)

The initial idea was to have a bunch of souls/ghosts emerging from the firework as its burst dies down. This image is titled [life is...] and was my attempt to capture how intricate-yet-fleeting life can be. I thought of fireworks shows and sequences where a huge firework emerges as the others before it fade away. While looking at reference pictures, I couldn't help but think of how dandelions could "explode" from a core in a similar way. I used the two phases of dandelion to illustrate the cyclic nature of birth and death. The shriveled core - once a vibrant flower - reveals seeds to be whisked away.

And then you have [blocky trap bug] - prompted by the question: What's worse than stepping on a Lego? Oops >:D

Last Sunday had me recovering from sleep deprivation and the itis, so there was no post last week. To make up for this absense, expect an extra post about some *lovely* hydration merch later this week~
