Incorrect, the fact that Biden has dropped out and a candidate with history of supporting medicare for all and being more receptive to a ceasefire in the I/P conflict has made me go from "I cannot morally support the Democratic nominee" to "I am voting for the Democratic nominee despite the fact she isn't perfect in every respect." I'm really happy this played out. The Dems for the most part abandoned the old Obama platform and it feels like its possible an actual progressive agenda could come to pass in my lifetime.

came up with this au like actually 2 years ago where it's mainly empires 2 smallidarity centric, with Jimmy as a student council member and Joel as an honours student who doesn't like the way Jimmy runs things around the school.

As payback for the regulations Jimmy put up that Joel thought was stupid, Joel does these elaborate 'The Office' style pranks on Jimmy (specifically) while Jimmy retaliates by trying his best to dig up dirt on Joel. This banter goes on for a while— however Joel ends up doing the pranks less as a statement, and instead more just to see how Jimmy would react... with his comical, cartoony villain yells, and... weirdly cute face....? (YAOI YAOI YAOI YAOI)

listen listen ok i love age gap stuff as much as the next fujo but in zhongven's case the WAY funnier and more accurate dynamic is college prof. zhongli and the guy everyone thinks is his undergrad (at worst) or TA (at best) but who is actually a 36 year old fellow teacher from another university. every time venti visits zhongli on campus for a quickie to bring him lunch, zhongli has to put up with a swirl of rumors about his scandalous relationship with a babyfaced newly-18 year old. students keep showing up after class thinking they can flirt their way out of his notoriously difficult 10 page final exam. his reputation with most of his fellow teachers is so strained and awkward.

yall are about to piss me off by not having any PASSING basic knowledge of the way the u.s. military manipulates its recruits into joining by typing up one of your uninformed, unresearched, unempathetic, individualistic, unbelievably annoying posts about how 100% of the people in the military ended up there because they just Love America So Damn Much! they're extremely mature and informed at time of recruitment, they can totally leave anytime they want, they totally had tons of other avenues in life they could've taken, there was no rush at all to get income as fast as possible, and everyone in the military also totally is part of the combat divisions and personally enjoys being IN the military very much, big believers of violence. everyone in the military is shooting guns all day, that's how that works. they LOVE BLOODSHED. also I love the "amewicans haha" twang to this type of shit because you're actually TOTALLY stealing our Thing, which is turning systemic issues into Individual Issues. Instead of talking about the powers that be, it's so Personal Choice up in here. It's, "well you shouldn't have done it then. in life updates: decided to enroll in a notoriously difficult class this semester. civil law is my achilles heel, and i also wanted to force myself into better study habits and time management. last week, i took the midterm and braced myself for a fail: despite improvements in the way i prepared for class and spoke during cold calls, i'd still been struggling over the semester. after the exam ended, i went and checked the schedule for dropping classes. one week later. dear reader, i passed.

yesterday i went to amazon development centre to meet other girls accepted to the engineering program. we divided ourselves into project groups by choosing which problem we wanted to work on and we talked about our ideas for a bit.

after a short break we had a group meeting with a psychologist where we discussed working in a group and got to know each other a bit more.

then we had lunch (every option had sesame and i'm allergic so i drank some coffee) and headed to a computer room where we got one alexa for a group and got to know how it works. we also got assigned to a python course, which is great because it's not really taught in school
