Thinking about the first couple of days after moving in, Logan is trying really hard to ignore the man dancing around the tiny kitchen, but sometimes just... stares at him. This level of domesticity is just so confusing to him. How come they literally saved the timeline, and 3 days later, he was cooking eggs and cleaning like nothing happened?

Like a prayer isn't the only Madonna song Wade sings. Wade is currently using a spatula as a mic as he twirls and dances around the kitchen in a frilly pink apron that says 'Kiss the Cook'.

And Logan is just... Appauled? He's so damn confused. Al notices that he's staring and smirks to herself.

"Didn't know breakfast came with a show, did you?"

"Does... Does he always do this??" He asks, almost shocked, but nothing Wade did would truly suprise him anymore (even though it's only been 3 days)

"Papa, don't preach, I'm in trouble! Papa, don't preach, I've been losing sleeepp!"

"Yyup. All the time."

Turning his head back to look at him, Logans brows never left their state of confusion, seeing Wade lean back on the counter with his hands and do a little kick, almost flinging their breakfast off the stove.

"But I made up my mind! Iiiimmmm keeping my baby!!"

It was almost like a trance. He just... couldn't look away. "... Is he high?"

"Dun- dun- I'm gonna keep my baby, yeah Ooh!"

"Nope. He's just like that." Al tells him and turns up the volume on the tv as Wade picks up Puppins and swings her around, holding her up like the lion king before kissing her head.

It was now that he caught on and almost instantly started performing, teasing, and keeping eye contact, making Logan blush, even more confused. Watching him lean over the counter, wiggle his tush and with the spactula again, sang to the dog.

"Daddy, Daddy, if you could only see just how good he's been treating me- "

"Wade!"

"Yes!?" This was excitment.

"The eggs!" He pointed, practically jumping off the couch as the pan was now on fire.

"Oh- Damn it! Always ruining my dances! Do you know how many hours I had to stay late on set to learn this choreography!?"

"What!?? Just get the fucking fire extinguisher before-"

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. FIRE. FIRE. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. And suddenly, the appartment was wet, the buildings sprinklers having went off, putting out the fire and soaking everyone in the room..

"God curse you, Wade! Every time!"

What if we were both magic prodigies and it otherized us in different ways and we devoted ourselves to protecting a family member who has general other goals & priorities. What if we both did self-sacrifical devotion in opposite ways.

What if we were dark mirrors of each other and where I've grown overcontrolling you've grown complacent. What if, bought as a servant into a pretty loving home, ownership and control is what love looks like to me, and to you neglected and lonely growing up, love is gratefully taking any scraps of it you’re lent.

By belonging to someone, even if she comes back injured or fails at finding Delgal, she feels like she belongs and is cherished, by owning someone he feels safe in them not leaving him.

She’s what’s tethering him do you see… And he’s the only thing giving her direction and purpose in her state. She needs a compass and he needs a support.

They’re both so out of it 😭 It’s the weirdly intense and unearned mutual trust and reliance on each other?? They’re each other’s weird little comfort codependent teddy bear. Or at least they were headed towards that before SHE DIED THEN HE DIED THEN THEY BOTH FORGOT ABOUT EACH OTHER AND NEVER MET EVER AGAIN. Though she’s also the guard attack hound keeping him safe… And vice versa he heals her and can rewrite her very being with just one wave of his hand. They’re both so so mentally and physically vulnerable both but they cling onto each other. They can’t perceive things accurately but despite it all someway somehow they stumble into something closer to resembling companionship just before they both die. Falin is just that kind and Thistle is just that lonely. Overworked. We both haven’t lived for ourselves in a very long time, haven’t we.

They both have a similar devotion to the people they love but again the difference is that Thistle starts overtsepping while Falin is self-effacing. The other difference between them is that people care about Falin <3 People have given up on Thistle long ago, and he has given people reasons to, while people refuse to give up on Falin. Yaad has a mini arc about it dw about it it’s ok he’s not all alone in the end 😭😭 He reached out for Marcille’s hand but they already all wanted to help him, they just had to be given the chance to, Yaad just had to be given the chance to, it’s okay I’m okay

Hey what if we learned to get in touch with our own identity and the world around us and living in the present again through being in the worst codependent situationship ever.

Some folks: SJM foreshadowed a blood duel between Azriel and Lucien in the Bonus Chapter to win Elain’s heart/claim his mate.

Me, an intellectual: SJM foreshadowed the blood duel in regard to Lucien because he will use it to save Elain’s life, likely from Beron, because this time he will be powerful enough to stop Jesminda’s fate from repeating itself again.

Anyone ever see A Walk in the Clouds?

Imagine with me, if you will, Alpha Eddie trying to find his way in the world after discovering his long-time partner had been cheating on him. He decides to head home, back to the Midwest and his uncle, but on the train he meets an unbonded Omega travelling alone.

Steve is kind, and beautiful, and so sweet when he asks if Eddie would mind accompanying him home, saying that he just trusts the alpha. Eddie wouldn't be able to live with himself if something happened to Steve, so of course he agrees, changes his plans and travels with the omega to his family's vineyard.

It's not until they've almost arrived that Steve breaks down, that he confides in Eddie how he's terrified to go home. He's unmated and pregnant, and his family is traditional, they'll disown him before they let him shame the family name like that.

Eddie can't stand to see someone so kind in distress, and he offers a plan: What if they're together?

A whirlwind romance leading to a quick marriage, an unexpected but treasured pregnancy. They didn't want to get mated until they could have a proper ceremony with Steve's family, which is why they're coming to visit.

In a coupe of days Eddie will take off in the middle of the night, leaving behind a note saying that he isn't ready to be a dad, that he still wants to see more of the world and he hopes Steve finds an Alpha who can love him and the pup properly.

Eddie takes the fall as the uncaring, inconsiderate Alpha, and Steve gets to play the part of abandoned, dejected Omega. Eddie goes home, Steve gets doted on by his family; it's a win-win, yeah?

Now all Eddie has to do is not fall in love with Steve.

would it be too silly to have the concepts of soulmates in my acotar fic. like i know i can do whatever i want but i like hearing other ppls opinion.

My idea is soulmates as a -concept- their not real but its a mortal thing. Soulmates as in someone you connect with (platonically or romantically) and that they are ones completion. And that you can have multiple soulmates.

I think it would be interesting as an opposition of sorts to Mates (mates being the supposedly equals the most powerful children, they are mirrors, their very sexual, etc etc)

I think the mortal idea of soulmates would appeal to tamlin a LOT
