Guys they actually all live happily as a found family, and are totally not 2/3 dead!! Added Duck based on @mashedmangos 's Au where Duck lives!! It's just really great. God's top 3 silliest soldiers. (Each of them is deeply scarred and being tested every single day.)

Also added my own design for Au where Sarah also survives. It's like really funny to me to think she's just tall af, towering over basically almost everyone at Ericson's. So Clem's like 5'2, Duck's 5'4, and Sarah's just 5'8. I love them all, and they are very dear to my heart. I will defend each of them personally with my life.

Does AJ still kill Lilly? How doea Duck feel about it, as well as the encounter with James in the cave?

If I'm being honest I haven't thought about how Duck fits onto the S4 storyline very much (as this au is still a WIP) but I have considered making Duck kill Lilly

This is mostly to parallel how Kenny killed Larry in s1

But if AJ was the one to kill Lilly Duck would feel conflicted. He doesn't think AJ should be killing people so early in his life (if at all if he can avoid it) but he also hated S4 Lilly because of how horrible she'd became

The encounter with James in the cave would probably involve a lot more shouting and threats because James quite literally tries to take AJ away. Duck is incredibly protective over his loved ones and for James to overstep such a boundary would be like setting a can of gasoline on fire

Duck doesn't like getting angry because when he does it's really similar to S2 Kenny. But in this moment he probably wouldn't care and would only want to get James away from Clem and AJ

how many people has duck killed, if any? how did he react to his first human kill?

I'm not sure exactly how many humans he would've killed but he would avoid it at all costs, only opting to kill someone if entirely necessary (or if they put his loved ones in danger)

The first time he did it he almost threw up and was shaking for ages afterwards and he holds that guilt later on in life. he never really gets used to the feeling of it but he's definitely better at masking his guilt later down the line

Saw that you’re one of the few people with a duck lives au and that’s pretty uncommon but anyways how does duck react to aj having to end clementines life :(((? Or at least whichever option like leaving her? The whole situation in general really

When he finds out Clem has been bitten he shuts himself off (much like the scene in the drugstore in the game, when he's completely silent) as he tries to process that he's going to lose Clem and he feels nauseous about it

The thought of what happened to Katjaa on the train is brought back to him and he's scared for Clem. He really doesn't want what happened to be real

He isn't around when AJ makes the decision because he leads off the walkers around the barn so that AJ and Clem have a safe space to rest for a while (despite how much he wished he was the one who had to put Clem out of her misery, he'd rather hold onto the guilt than have AJ do it)

When he returns, AJ had already cut her leg off and Duck carries her all the way back to the school

Duck is shocked and scared when he finds Clem legless and AJ covered in blood. And he hates that AJ had to do that

He doesn't let himself panic, not when Clem is literally bleeding out. He only lets himself feel again when Clem has been properly cared for. He refuses to leave her side until she wakes up, literally abandoning his needs because he needs to know she's gonna wake up and he needs to be there when it happens so she knows she's safe

He's not as talkative during that time, in fact he probably only says a few words during the entire time Clem is recovering

I'm new to your page and I love the Ducks lives AU and I was wondering if you had anything written yet? Or If you are going to make a full written story

I am working on a fanfic for it!! But progress is REALLY slow and I don't think it will be out anytime soon unless I have a random spike of motivation and finish it fast

I'm kinda picky with my writing because I'm not the best at it LMAO

But if anyone wanted to they could totally write their own version

how tall do u think duck would be in s4? i can definitely see him being like 5’6 but i like to imagine he’d be the same height as/barely taller than clementine and it makes me laugh 😭

I don't have an exact height but I can see him being pretty tall but the idea of him being barely taller than Clem is so silly LMAO

Does Kenny still blame Clem for Sarita's death? How does Duck feel about it?

He does and it makes Duck angry

Kenny doesn't get the chance to properly blow up at her because Duck intervenes and takes over the conversation and Clem walks away

Kenny gets a bit annoyed with Duck but it gets shut down kinda quickly once again when he realises what he's saying and who he's saying it to

Duck's presence keeps him calmer for longer so Duck stays with him for a little while, keeping him from blowing up at anyone else and to comfort him in his loss again

Although, Duck can't bring himself to look at Sarita. She reminds him a little too much of Katjaa :3

if clem & louis decided to have a kid one day, how would duck react to the situation??

He'd be super happy for them

He'd help out where he can and when they need him to help. He'd probably tease Clem about it a little "they grow up so fast" or "I can imagine like it was just yesterday you were only 8 years old"

He'd be the best uncle that kid could ever have
