Major signs of Qiyamah

• The emergence of Imam Mahdi

• The emergence of Dajjal (false Antichrist)

•The re-appearance of Masih al-'Isa (Jesus Christ), the son of Mary (PBH)

• The emergence of Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog)

• The destruction of the Ka'bah & the recovery of its treasure

• Emergence of the Beast from the Earth

• The smoke

• The occurrence of 3 major landslides (one in the East, one in the West, & one on the Arabian peninsula)

•The wind which will take the souls of the believers

• The rising of the sun from the west

• The occurrence of the fire that will drive the people to their final gathering place

• 3 blasts of the trumpet (fear & terror, death, resurrection)

Signs of Qiyamah after the Minor signs but before the Major Signs

• ANOMALOUS INCIDENTS WILL   OCCUR: Occurrence of red winds, disfiguration of faces (man to pig), and people being swallowed into the ground.

• GENOCIDE: A man from Abu Sufyaan’s progeny massacres descendents of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam  and rules over Syria and Egypt.

• WAR: A major war between Muslims and Christians: Half the Christian army will sign a peace treaty with the Muslim army, while the second half of the Christian army remains the common enemy.

• ISTANBUL CONQUERED BY CHRISTIANS: The enemy half of the Christian army conquers Constantinople (Istanbul), Turkey.

• ISTANBUL RECONQUERED JOINTLY BY MUSLIMS & CHRISTIANS: The Muslims and the good half of the Christian army conquer Constantinople together, against the enemy Christians. Thereafter, a Christian will say the victory was due to the cross, and the Muslim will say it was due to Islam. A battle between both sides will ensue, and the Muslim Ruler will be martyred.

• SYRIA CONQUERED BY CHRISTIANS: The two Christian armies reunite, conquering Syria.

• CHRISTIAN DOMINATION: Christians will dominate the world up to Khaiber (near Madinah), and they will pursue Muslims with 80 flags, with 12,000 men under each flag.

• MUSLIMS will be desperate for Imam Mahdi. Some will even give up hope, that he will ever come.

• TOTAL ECLIPSE: A total eclipse of the sun and moon will occur in Ramadan, prior to Imam Mahdi’s emergence.

Auf bin Malik (RA) narrates: I came to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam while he was in his skin tent, during the Tabuk expedition.

He said to me: "Count six things before the advent of Qiyamah:

1. My death

2. The conquest of Jerusalem

3. Mass deaths amongst you people, just as when sheep die in large numbers during an epidemic

4. Abundance of wealth to such an extent that if a person were to be given a hundred Dinars, he will still not be satisfied

5. General anarchy and bloodshed, that no Arab household will be spared from

6. Then a life of peace as a result of a peace agreement between you and the Banil Asfaar (Romans), which they will break, and attack you with a force consisting of eighty flags. Under each flag, will be an army of twelve thousand men."

Qur’an, Chapter Kahf (first 10 verses).

Ad-Dajjal (the antichrist) will be the greatest trial for mankind….Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surat Al-Kahf (18) will be protected from the Dajjal. 

May Allah (SWT) protect us all from fitnatul-Dajjal...

The Messenger of Allah (salAllahu ‘alayhi wasallim) said “How can I feel happy when the Angel Israfil (the angel appointed to blow the Trumpet on the Day of Judgment) has put his lips to the Trumpet waiting to hear the order to blow the trumpet?” This very much distressed his companions, so he told them to seek comfort through reciting “Sufficient for us is Allah and an excellent Guardian is He”.

Signs of Qiyama (Minor signs):

• It will be regarded as a shame to act on Quranic rulings √

• Lies will prevail over the truth √

• It will be hot in winter & vice versa √ (this is already the case in some places)

• The journey of a few days is covered in a matter of hours √ (via aeroplanes, ships etc)

• Orators and lecturers will lie openly √ (starting to happen)

• People will dispute over petty issues √

• Women with children come displeased on account of them bearing offspring, & barren women will remain happy on account of having no responsibility of offspring √

• Oppression, jealousy, and greed become the order of the day √

• People will blatantly follow their passions and whims √

• Violence, bloodshed & anarchy will become common √

• Immorality overtakes shamelessness and is perpetrated publicly √

• Legislation matters pertaining to Deen will be handed over to the worst people of the Ummat √ (already the case- see uprisings in Syria etc/ places run by dictators)

• Music and musical instruments will be found in every home √

• People will indulge in homosexuality √

• There will be an abundance of illegitimate children √

•There will be an abundance of critics, tale-carriers, back- biters and taunters in society √

• People will establish ties with strangers over their families √

• Hypocrites will be in control of the affairs of the community and evil, immoral people will be at the helm of business establishments √

• The Masjids will be decorated, but the hearts of the people will be devoid of guidance.The courtyards of Masjids will be built beautifully and high pulpits will be erected √

• Gangsters and evil people will prevail   √

• Various wines will be consumed excessively √

• Women will wear their hair in high buns √ (hijabis fashioning their hijabs into camel humps)

• Naked, barefooted shepeards will compete in constructing tall buildings √ (Arabs competing in building tall skyscrapers)

• Adultery and fornication will be prevalent (The Prophet, peace be upon him said, that this has never happened without new diseases befalling the people, which their ancestors had not known.) - Bukhari, Muslim, Ibn Majah, & Al-Haythami  √ (relates to HIV & Aids)

• Adultery and fornication will be performed in the open √

•Women will outnumber men……eventually 50:1 (Bukhari, Muslim, & Ahmad) √ (Women are already beginning to out number men)

• The nations of the earth will gather against the Muslims like hungry people going to sit down to a table full of food. This will occur when the Muslims are large in number, but “like the foam of the sea,” √

• People will beat others with whips like the tails of oxen (Muslim) √ (The Slave Trade)

• The children will be filled with rage (at-Tabarani, al-Hakim) √

• Women will conspire (at-Tabarani, al-Hakim) √

• Rain will be acidic or burning (at-Tabarani, al-Hakim) √ (already happened in some places. We should expect more of this to come)

• Children of fornication will become widespread or prevalent (at-Tabarani, al-Hakim) √

•When a trust becomes a means of making a profit (at-Tirmidhi, Al-Haythami) √

• Gains will be shared out only among the rich, with no benefit to the poor (at-Tirmidhi) √

•Paying zakat becomes a burden and miserliness becomes widespread; charity is given reluctantly (at-Tirmidhi & Al-Haythami)

•Episodes of sudden death will become widespread (Ahmad) √

• When a man obeys his wife and disobeys his mother; and treats his friend kindly while shunning his father (at-Tirmidhi) √

• When voices are raised in the mosques (at-Tirmidhi) √

• People will walk in the marketplace with their thighs exposed √

• The people of Iraq will receive no food and no money due to oppression by the Romans (Europeans) (Muslim) √

•Fitna will enter everyone’s home (Ahmad) √ (TV is a form of fitna)

• People will treat a man with respect out of fear for some evil he might do (at-Tirmidhi) √

• Men will begin to wear silk (at-Tirmidhi) √ (already the case with Male, Asian, wedding outfits)

• Female singers and musical instruments will become popular (at-Tirmidhi) √

• People will dance late into the night √

• When the last ones of the Ummah begin to curse the first ones √ (at-Tirmidhi) (already the case with Shia's)

• People will claim to follow the Qur’an but will reject hadith & sunnah (Abu Dawood) √

• People will reject al-Qadr (the Divine Decree of Destiny) (Al-Haythami) √

• Time will pass rapidly (Bukhari, Muslim, & Ahmad) √

• People will be carrying on with their trade, but their will only be a few trustworthy persons √

• Wealth will increase so much so that if a man were given 10,000, he would not be content with it (Ahmad & Bukhari) √

• A man will pass by a grave and wish that he was in their place (Bukhari) √

• Earthquakes will increase (Bukhari & Muslim)√

• There will be attempts to make the deserts green √

•The appearance of false messengers (30 dajjals) (Bukhari) √

• Women will be naked in spite of being dressed, these women will be led astray & will lead others astray (Muslim) √

• When people begin to compete with others in the construction of taller buildings (Bukhari) √

•Trade will become so widespread that a woman will be forced to help her husband in business (Ahmad) √

• A woman will enter the workforce out of love for this world (Ahmad) √

•There will be many women of child-bearing age who will no longer give birth √

• There will be an abundance of food, much of which has no blessing in it. People will refuse when offered food √

• Men will begin to look like women and women will begin to look like men √

Signs of Qiyama (intro)

Brothers & Sisters in faith, I can’t stress to you how close we are to the day of Judgement. O’Muslims, this could be the last century so repent before its too late.

Our Ummah is blessed more than any other nation. One of the reasons why, is because our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), by the will of Allah (SWT), foretold us about the  many events that will lead to the destruction of the universe.

However knowledge of the exact day, lays only with Allah, the almighty, who holds the knowledge of the unseen. One things for sure. The day of judgement will take place on a Friday, as our beloved Prophet Muhammad told us.

The Quran bares witness over & over again to the inevitability of the day of judgement, & the fact that the miraculous event which took place during the time of Muhammad (PBUH): the splitting of the moon, reassures it.

It is a fact, that we, along with jinns & the rest of creation, will stand before our Lord in a forth coming day, & answer for our deeds.

Muhammed (PBUH)’s chains of narrations are authenticated & were recorded in hadiths, remaining intact until this day. The signs of the day of Judgement are split into Minor & Major signs…

• Minor: These are the signs from the death of Mohammad (PBUH) to the time of the appearance of Hazrat Imaam Mahdi.

• Major: These are the signs from the appearance of Imam Mahdi to the Blowing of the Trumpet

If I’m not mistaken, all the minor signs of the day of judgement have occurred, either in Muhammad (PBUH)’s time or after. Most of them are still re-occurring before our own eyes…
