Cora Novoa ft Bryte - Gogo Gaga Premiered on FACT Magazine
“Spanish producer and DJ Cora Novoa joins forces with Ghanaian MC Bryte, a propulsive fusion of their energetic styles. Layering restless kicks and blizzards of noise against Bryte’s nimble delivery and irrepressible vibe, Cora Novoa matches the rapper’s vocal levity with bludgeoning weight and atmospheric dept, revealing yet another side to the multi-faceted MC.
The video, directed by Benova Studio, sees the duo bopping around some of Barcelona’s rave institutions, including Razzmatazz, the club wear brand SSSTUFFF headquarters and THEROOM concept store. Capturing a snapshot of Barcelona’s nightlife scene, ‘Gogo Gaga’ is a homage to these shared spaces.
As part of the track’s release, Cora Novoa is launching a competition calling on producers to remix ‘Gogo Gaga’. Those interested in taking part mint a free NFT from Web3 community GUZZU, which will serve as the platform for release of the winning entry, selected by Cora Novoa herself.
‘Gogo Gaga’ is out now, on Seeking The Velvet. You can find Cora Novoa on Instagram and at her website. You can follow Bryte on Instagram.”

“On the album opener ‘OX’, Piezo moves through a cold and cavernous soundscape, dropping muffled zaps and crunches into an eerie, shuffling beat like pebbles into a dark well. Designer and artist Nicola Tirabasso, aka Visio, provides an enigmatic visual accompaniment that is every bit as head-spinning.”

Samuel Kerridge & Taylor Burch The Other, 2019
In 1962, French writer, artist and filmmaker Jean Cocteau sat down in his dining room to record a message for the year 2000. Covering everything architecture, religion, modern medicine and the anxiety of youth, Cocteau reflects on the horizon of a new millennium.
It is this address that was in part the inspiration for The Other, a collaboration between Samuel Kerridge and Taylor Burch that incorporates spoken word, projected visuals and an evocative score. Burch recontextualises Cocteau’s words, transforming them into chilly incantations that reverberate around Kerridge’s productions, which shift from diaphanous ambient passages to frazzled hardcore and shivering techno
Although subsequent performances of the live AV show were interrupted by the outbreak of COVID-19, the piece was originally intended to be projected on large sheets of semi-transparent fabric, running floor to ceiling in height and suspended at different depths
Premiering at the 2019 edition of Berlin Atonal, artist Daisy Dickinson created the visuals for the piece and mixed them live during the performance, in response to the sounds and words of Kerridge and Burch.

Source FACTmagazine: The third in our new series of live sessions filmed behind closed doors by Fact at 180 The Strand is a cathartic set of raw acid house and techno from Paranoid London, the hardware-heavy project of Quinn Whalley and Gerardo Delgado. When Paranoid London first emerged in 2007, their music provided a gritty counterpoint to the European minimal sounds and disco edits that proliferated at the time, and their vinyl-only releases gained them underground success at a time when the format was in decline. In the 13 years since, the project has been host to a rotating cast of guest vocalists, including A Certain Ratio’s Simon Topping, Arthur Baker, Josh Caffe and the late trans activist and DJ, Bubbles Bubblesynski. On this performance they’re joined by regular collaborator Mutado Pintado with visuals by Bob Jaroc. Classic drum machines and synths such as the Roland TR-808, TR-909 and SH-101 lie at the heart of their setup, with acid lines provided by the Cyclone Analogic TT-303 Bass Bot. Effects come from a host of cheap Korg Monotron Delay units, which slather vocals and synths in a grimy echo. Paranoid London’s latest album, 2019’s PL, is available now. You can find the rest of their catalogue, including their ongoing series of edits, at Bandcamp.
